Seems like construction was rushed, however when making request for service they do come out in a prompt manner to resolve the issue. Overall I would buy again if the price is right.

Processing team were always late in updating me especially the closing never told me till I called the office. Very poor communication

Overall experience buying a Lennar home has been excellent! Very friendly and helpful team. The only major problem was landscaping/grading. Hopefully this will get resolved soon. We love our Lennar home here in the Pensacola area!

Overall great experience buying my fist home. One thing I’m still waiting to be replaced is my driveway. I was told on closing day it would be fixed and here I am over a month later and my driveway is still not fixed. The incline is too steep I can only reverse into the driveway and the massive crack (that happened before I even used it) is still an issue.

I closed on my home in February of 2023 and have had multiple issues come up... cracks appeared between the walls and ceiling, flooring lifted up and cracked. spaces showing between floor boards, that was explained as "acceptable" as long as you cant fit a credit card between the spaces. Shoddy paint jobs, and it takes 2-3 weeks to get anything scheduled to try to get the issues fixed. When you say something, you're made to feel like you are imposing on them to fix things that should have been fixed before closing. For the supposed walkthru, was told "you just look for the paint issues, and we will take care everything else. Being a new homebuyer I stupidly trusted them, and when I walked into my house after closing, find all kinds of things that should have been done. squeaking doors because they didn't fit the door in correctly to the door frame, and now the frame needs to be shaved. the Garage door has a wide crack on one of the pipes that hold the bay, and when I pointed it out, was told "that's the way they all come like that". Totally wish I could go back in time and tell myself to NOT take this house. NOT worth the headaches I am going through just trying to get things fixed the way they should be, the way they should have been before I even moved in. I am NOT satisfied with my purchase, and if I knew of a way I could get out of it, I would take it in a heartbeat, Its my opinion that NOONE should purchase a LENNAR home unless they are a handyman and are willing to work on the house yourself to fix the problem they seem to refuse to want to fix. Excellent build quality with lennar

The worst home purchase I’ve ever had(2 previous). Went to walk through and there were numerous issues with the home. Was told that if I don’t close once they received the certificate of occupancy I would lose my deposit. It been almost 2 months since I’ve closed and there is still incomplete work. Too much back and forth with their subs.

Professional and focused representatives. From the initial contact and sales experience through the construction management process to our new home finalization and orientation, everyone has been thorough and helpful. We expect and hope to not need to move again for a long long time, but know the builder and employees do seem to care well for potential and current homeowners.

The people in the field are great. Sales man. General Cobtractors. Have to deal with corporate you will find they quickly don’t care. Good luck reaching one of them.

From the very beginning, the sales team lead by Bryan was top notch. He was always available for us. Then the financial team was there until the last minutes helping us as well, giving us the extra mile. Thanks to Lennar Homes for helping me to achieve my home!

My buying experience with lennar was great we were treated with importance and care. I say care because it was a very important decision we were making at this time in our life. It was quick and painless. Happy we did it.

Kept being told this would be one of our happiest moments, had many issues and concerns still haven’t been addressed and have moved in still waiting to get some resolution. Luv my home but overall experience was horrible and still not able to enjoy our home. Very poor communication at the very beginning, still lack of her and now. Felt so rushed and pushed and thrown to the side. Hope no one else had to or will have to experience what we did. My realtor was the only one I felt that was really here helping and supporting us. Neighborhood is wonderful so far.. wouldn’t change anything

While I feel our overall buying experience was positive, I do feel there can always be improvement. Need to be more realistic about projected closing dates. Puts undue pressure on Project managers already facing supply chain and labor issues. Need to be more conscientious about certain installation, design and application. - Very simple fixes that get ignored. The response has been very good from the customer care. The suggestion that something is "not a warranty issue" or "a Lennar problem" are questionable in a home that's been occupied for less than 2 months.

We are pleased that we were able to purchase the home of our choice. Our sales rep Penny was responsive to all of our questions. We have good interactions with our construction manager and our repair coordinator. We have also been pleased with the responsiveness to our requests for repair issues. All the new homeowners including ourselves are anxious for communication regarding the building of our amenity center.

The Best team I have ever worked with

Overall experience was good. Drywall finish is not, it’s terrible. I understand the builder has deleted the sliding glass door in the master bedroom which is great improvement that we would have liked. Makes good floorplan even better by creating needed wall space. Gateway location is convenient and up and coming.

Thought the builder would have been able to help with this. Piping in the backyard is a real eyesore.

Home Buyers need to know exactly what is included in a new home. I was completely unaware that my new home would not have exterior lights, that there were no shower doors in two of the three bathrooms and no towel bars and no mirrors in any of the bathrooms. I have spent the first month in this home purchasing those items. Also older couples like myself need more one on one attention as it is often difficult to do everything via the computer. We have difficulty with Virtual visits.

This house has been a nightmare! Two weeks after closing we noticed black mold in the owners bathroom. Lennar responded quickly to mitigate the problem but took 3 weeks and multiple vendors to identify the source of the water leak. Tiles, vanity and shower subfloor had to be removed. Two months after closing we still do not have use of the bathroom or our bedroom due to the continuous state of construction. Additionally, a week after the bathroom problem was identified, the garage started taking in water. Again, it took 4 vendors to identify source of the leak, blocks and floor cement escavated, leak fixed and floor and wall reconstructed. All of this was happening while they were addressing the dozen other tickets submitted for damaged items, lack of detail and sloppy workmanship. Poor quality construction. Disappointed for sure. Great Great Great Great Great Great

HVAC system is really Bad, Lennar needs to look into it and fix the problem. We were told to keep Fan on, it is very noisy, very difficult to sleep at night. Some parts of home are very cold and upstairs is hot like oven, It is a shame builder like Lennar giving this kind of system, we have paid almost half a million for our home, this is totally unacceptable

We moved forward with purchase, despite reading some of the previous reviews and homeowner issues. We submitted 6 warranty claims within 1 month of living in the home, which was not the issue as I anticipated "some" minor issues, however they were all a result of poor craftsman ship, what appears to be a rush to complete/ close and move on, and lack of attention to detail. Lennar Mortgage, which thankfully we did not use, was also difficult to work with, did not want to honor their verbal offers and wasnt until we were prepared to walk away did they decide to "stand by" their word and honor a purchase incentive. Our neighbors have all had similar stories with varying degrees of issues. Our issues (light switches not connected, grinder failures before moving in, seems and joints not lining up and stains set into flooring and carpet) were minor compared to some of our neighbors. We’ll breakdown this review into 4 areas Lennar Sales, Lennar Title Services, Building Team, and Warranty. This review is for the Dolce Homesite Lennar Sales (Eileen and Carla) - Our first Dolce sales office experience was with Anastasia and she was great. She took the time to go over the features, explain things, and even took us around the Dolce neighborhood to show us properties and amenities. Her customer service, positive attitude, really sold us on the Dolce community. Sadly, Anastasia wasn’t working at the Dolce location when we came back to start the sales process a couple months later. We ended up having to “deal with” Eileen and her “empty-suit” of a supervisor named Carla. This is where we experienced the most grief. Eileen showed disdain for us from the beginning the moment she learned we had a real estate agent representing us and that we had our own financing. We later learned that those two things typically mean Lennar makes less profit because you aren’t financing through them and less commission potential for Eileen because portion has to go to our agent. After viewing the model we were interested in, we went back through the sales office to exit. We were rudely excused to leave the office to “go grab lunch to work it out” because apparently Eileen didn’t want to listen to my wife and me talk about the house and options were were considering and our financing plans. This visit was in the middle of the week and sales office was empty. Apparently we were a bother to her. This was the tone we experienced from Eileen during the whole sales process. We even tried to escalate to her supervisor Carla who also refused to talk to us other than to say keep her cc:d on emails. When we were done, we had over 200 emails. A large number of those emails being because Eileen’s refusal to answer simple/direct questions, refusing to respond, and laying blame on other Lennar departments. Dealing with her was excruciating and stressful. She exhibited the same unprofessional behavior towards us, our agent, our lender, and even Lennar Title personnel. It’s hard to believe that Lennar has this person as the “face of their company” in the sales office. It was also disappointing that her supervisor Carla refused to participate/engage in any discourse throughout the entire process. We left voicemails for Carla and sent her multiple emails seeking help to intervene that went unanswered. If we didn’t love the house we would have walked away from the deal at this point. Lennar Title Services (Vickie)- Yes! finally some adults in the room. We decided to use Lennar title. They were great through the whole process and worked hand in hand with our lender to get our deal done. They kept Eileen to task who kept trying to place blame/responsibility on the title department for items Lennar Sales should have handled. Their professionalism and customer service helped make this a special moment and kept us from walking away from the deal due to all the frustrations with Eileen. Building Team (Jerry) (pre closing)- he’s a personable guy and decent customer service, but delayed responses probably because he’s overwhelmed with the neighborhood buildout. Our Initial walkthrough was done before electricity was as turned on, there were surprisingly a large number of items we marked for correction, and a few we missed that we had to address via warranty claims post sale. Advice… be that person who goes over things with a fine tooth comb as there doesn’t appear to be great quality control during build. Feels like Lennar should have caught and corrected most of the items we called out during our walkthrough. Warranty (Jerry and various trade teams) - less than stellar. You aren’t a priority now that they have your money. Opening warranty claims is easy enough via their web portal, but it basically gets rerouted back to Jerry who has to engage the various trade teams (plumbing, drywall, counters, etc.). Feels like a second job having to send multiple reminder emails just to get an appointment for inspecting your claims and that is after you do a virtual inspection via phone call and picture submission. We are roughly 2 month living at the house and the majority of the items are still open unresolved. Advice..take your time and inspect EVERYTHING in great detail during your walkthrough. ... More
