Everyone in this process has been amazing. However the 2 areas identified above were less than helpful. Loan Process: Slow response on loan process. Duplicate loan process requests. Very confusing. Sales department: The sales office was less than helpful and not professional at all.

My overall experience was good. I do not want to fault them for the craft folks they hire and workmanship that they do. There were items along the way that concerned me, but overall most were taken care of. I have yet to receive my exterior house colors for touch up . I have emailed my salesperson and he keeps sending me the same document of the items included in the house, BUT I want to know the NAMES of the colors used for the exterior. Anyway, for the price at the time it was a good value.

Our best experience came with the team who met us at the home; the Construction Manager “C” who should in my opinion play a much bigger part with Lennar. The young man who did the walk through was fantastic and made us feel comfortable. Anna was very warm in person and helpful. We have NO love for your Loan Department at all. The lie “$11,000 towards your closing cost” shouldn’t be used anymore. Though there was a bright spot with “J” the rest of everyone else was unprofessional and extremely pushy. I have been very vocal in discouraging anyone from financing with Lennar. There also is a person who needs remedial sales and customer service training in your “Home Protection Mortgage Insurance”. He was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. We do love the home, however there things that could be done to improve it. Our overall experience and totality of it all is a C plus. ... More

I feel like they are in such a hurry to throw these houses up that the workmanship gets compromised. I have been in my home for 2 months and have had multiple repair orders put in 4 things that should have been taken care of the first time. I feel like once they get your name on the dotted line you are just a number. They are more concerned with getting their bonuses then the customer experience of getting a quality product. Not having a pool in Phase 5 was a terrible decision on the part of the builder. 1 pool for all of Belle Harbor is ridiculous.

Underwriting is tough but trust your getting a good home build! A home with good bones, & good materials. Lennar is excellent at responding to issues. They make sure you love your home! They guide you virtually every step of the way! If you choose lennar like we did you will not regret it just be diligent and don’t overpay!

Quality of materials is not great compare with my first home with Lennar. I am not happy with value of the price paid.

Price was good. Included were ring and window coverings. Upgrades were good. Sales agent was helpful. Good location . Good quality.

This is the 2nd or 3rd review Lennar has sent me which is really sums up the Lennar home buying experience for me. Lots of emails, lots of confusion, no real introduction as to what is going to happen when.

Nice homes but management needs work. Too many things going on at one time so a lot of miscommunication and things needing to be done. We've been here since Thanksgiving and things are still being done on our house that should have already been dealt with. They are being done but poor management in the process. Tried to hard to get to much done during this phase.

Please ensure that Lenore stands by the date that they give you for closing because when they change the date it totally disrupts your life and then you have to spend additional monies that were not initially budgeted for

Attempting to obtain a mortgage for the property was torture. I finally paid cash just to get it over and done with.

The house was incomplete at the time of closing. A very long list of items to be fixed on closing day. It took weeks, if not months to get them all fixed. Lennar sales did not disclose all information about the home lot and Vista community information. A pedestrian Traffic sign was installed at the driveway entrance, Additionally, we have come to find out Vista Lake Owners residing in the Wild Blue community, will not be able to use Wild Blue entrances. This was a huge disappointment. The Community clubhouse was promised completion 6 months ago, now group d had not yet been broken and we are told another year. ... More

The finished quality of workmanship sucks. They should do a walk through themselves before they invite the homeowner in and fix everything they find wrong. But, they wait until the homeowner comes in, and in a couple of hours expects the homeowner to find all the problems. The finish carpentry is poor, the countertops were not cut straight or square, very cheap flat paint on the walls that gets marked up just by leaning a cardboard box to it. They wait to paint the doors after all the hardware is attached, thus more poor workmanship. Walls are not straight vertically, I have one wall off 3/4" in just the width of a 32" door. They do a poor job cleaning up for the final customer inspection, dust and dirt in corners, window sills, etc. Drywall not flush, even or square. This is a poor excuse of a quality new home. But, I will say this, they try to make it right after the fact, but it should not get to that point. ... More

LENNAR as a builder is a good value for the money

I really like our house and love the location and community I will in.

We have so far had a good experience with Lennar

I was told I would get two walkthroughs before closing, I only got one so I didn’t see that the fence gate was on the wrong side of the house, no one told me that they only put grass down 20 feet from the back of your house so I have a good 10 feet of mud when it rains, wasn’t aware fence would not encompass the back door area. Read everything and ask the questions that you may think are stupid

Everything was going great until last minute we were required to bring more money to closing. The drive through closing was just not ideal. But overall we love our home and anything that has gone wrong was fixed or waiting to be fixed

The home consultant I worked with was phenomenal. She was very attentive to my concerns but the lenders that are used were not good at all. Very unorganized and I feel that they lacked experience.

Lennar has professional and courteous to deal with. Martha and Duke have been great to work with. Our Lennar agent, Dawn was great in answering all our questions in a timely manner. However, after accepting the house a few things have been at or below average. On closing day, we were left to fend for ourselves, did not know where to get our mail key, garage remotes did not work, no explanation on the Schlage keyless lock system, how to obtain the RFID chip for the gate entry, etc. A helpful explanation sheet would have been very helpful. I even wrote something up myself and submitted it with no response. We still cannot get our side-walk repaired when it was damaged before we moved-in. They just point the finger to the city. Most of all we were shocked to not receive anything from Lennar to include champagne or anything. They call closing day a celebration...but do nothing for you and was a nightmare of a day. We spent over $500K and expected a little something than here you go. ... More

Still trying to get some warranty issues resolved, has taken over 2 months and still not satisfied with results.

The salesman that we had was horrible. It was nearly impossible too get in touch with him. It's too much too write but the people that we dealt with at the end were wonderful.

Overall, Lennar was very responsive

Quality of the Lennar home is amazing. The sales department is not entirely truthful. We were limited to three dock options. After moving in, we noticed a few non-option docks that we would have preferred to have. Our grounds maintenance is included with our HOA, We have had to trim our berm and hire a pest control company to treat our lawn and berm for fire ants and lawn eating bugs. Other issues include a four month construction delay and getting warranted items repaired in a reasonable time. Our pool skimmer was blocked with construction cement for a month before it was correctly cleared of the blockage. The pool timer panel was defective on install. The electrical panel was not replaced for three months. A defective drawer front took one month to be replaced. The homes are built well, but the maintenance is subpar. Before closing we went through the house with Wyatt. We had identified numerous items in need of repair. Upon moving in we noticed the blue tape marks were gone, but the repair was not completed. Most noticeable was the wall in the garage in need of a coat of paint. We are still waiting on a portion of the lanai cage to be tightened to prevent more turtles, frogs, snakes, bugs and geckos from entering caged area. Most of these issues could have been prevented if the inspector responsible for the final home Inspection of the property had thoroughly inspected the property and had paid more attention to detail. ...
