Shocked by how often I was asked to give a 10/10 review of Lennar employees.

Planting dead or dying trees on new builds. I used virtual assistance fir mine and when I said my neighbors trees were dead and other trees they were planting looked dead or dying the person who helped me said she’s only dealing with my issues nor my neighbors or surrounding area’s trees. This is sad because it affects the overall appearance of the community. Maybe the neighbors are not computer literate enough to know how to submit their concerns.

I have had a lot of problems with this new house and feel i was overcharged compared to my neighbors. The finish work is not good, and appliances are very cheap.

Great home for the money!

This is our second Lennar home and this experience was a nightmare. The salesman we had was the worst and I'm a Realtor and know what service is supposed to be. I love the community and the homes are lovely, but ours was not done and they did NOT have CO when we arrived. Lennar choose the closing date and we flew in to find a MESS. ow The warranty program works but our salesperson should be in the background, not working with the public. It's not just me that thinks that but our neighbors who also worked with him. KRISTAN is AWESOME though.....and the other guy in the office is great. I got tired of hearing "its not my job" or "Its my day off" OR "I don't know, I seldom get down that end of the road". We just wanted to know if the dock was in, if the kitchen was completed, were we closing on time........total unrepsonsive answers. Wyatt our construction manager was very good (he took over the mess from the guy that was fired). We like Wyatt a lot and he answered our questions and got the repairs done. MEL is AWESOME.....not our guy but very helpful. When I couldn't get an answer from our salesperson Phil, I would get the answer from Mel. We met him accidentally on site when we were there to view homes and I was able to contact him. THANK GOD! My husband had a heart attack the day after closing due to stress of the entire situation. It was great! It worked out!

When I initially decided to purchase my home, I was told the closing date would be in September of 2020. When I saw construction had not yet started on my home (well after construction was supposed to have begun) I brought it up with Lennar staff. I was subsequently told the home would not be ready until closer to January 2021. As a result, I was offered a different lot with the same floorplan, which was supposed to be ready around September of 2020 (the original agreed upon timeline). When this offer was made to me, I was told this would be at no extra cost, as compensation for the mix up. I agreed to take the new lot, since I had already set plans in motion to move out of my current living space (banking on a September move in date). Two days later, I was told I would have to pay an additional fee in order to switch to the lot that would have been ready on time, and that I would have to stay with the original lot if I did not want to agree to pay more up front. I was obviously frustrated at this point, and was essentially told by Lennar staff that these were my only two options. I ultimately elected to sort out a living situation to fill out the additional time it would require to stay with the first lot, and not pay extra for a different lot. From this point on, the construction process went smoothly and expeditiously. The construction manager, Craig, was thorough and available throughout this process. However, on closing day, there was some kind of miscommunication somewhere in the Lennar organization and the construction crew was still working to correct some of the issues pointed out during the initial walkthrough when I arrived to move in. I'm not entirely sure who this oversight falls on, but it was disappointing things were not 100% complete and there had not been a cleaning done prior to my move in. All the aforementioned frustration aside, the quality of the home is top notch and I am incredibly pleased with the end result. I have not had any issues beyond a few minor cosmetic fixes. Prices are good overall great service

We are happy with all the appliances and electronics. The home was built on time and up to quality standards.

We love the home just there was poor communication.

The house itself is very well made with lots of technology. The overall buying experience was not terrible, just stay away from getting loan with lennar.

Junior has been the best thing about our experience with Lennar. Always helpful, available and prompt. Give that man a raise!!!

Sales rep was nice but not very knowledgeable

Good customer service. Home looks nice and modern. Quality of materials, paint, etc. could improve.

Lot of lack of communication, answer or updates from sales. Also I have been complaining that might have some issue with the electric installation in the house and it has been kind of ignored . Some specific issues were taken care after 3 or 4 claims but still the breaker keeps going off. It’s not normal that a new house have the breaker off so often. Wish some one could come and inspect in general if everything is ok.

Overall the buying experience was good. There were a lot of emails that could be consolidated to avoid confusion during the buying process. The one issue we are having is, since we bought a model home, many of the options purchased are not standard and therefore repairs do not get completed in a timely fashion.

The home buying experience itself was smooth honestly quick and easy. Brin, Logan, and Patti made things worth while. walking me through everything. Patti especially explaining things through the loan process and helping me negate things really helped. The lower Star reviews was honestly due to the builders and how things went wrong three days after I moved into my home even through the hectic and horrible issues. Brian made that process a lot better as well because he was very genuine and upfront with things and showed that he really cared the whole time in the whole process through everything getting taken care of while we were in a hotel overall Lennar has taken care of things ... I had a very fast and efficient experience overall with Lennar. I was connected with multiple representatives throughout the process, and I especially want to highlight David in the New Braunfels location he is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and continues to be helpful even after the purchase by answering any questions I have. Ethan, the construction manager, was also very welcoming and supportive throughout the process. That said, there were a few areas that could definitely be improved. During the approval process, communication felt disconnected. Much of the process was handled online, and documents were often uploaded for signature with little to no explanation just a quick message asking me to sign. For something as important and complex as buying a home, more guidance would have been helpful. Closing was another area that lacked personal interaction. Aside from the notary, there wasn’t really anyone present to walk through the documents, which contained a lot of detailed financial information. It felt like we were expected to fully understand everything on our own, even though this isn’t our area of expertise. Thankfully, my realtor was there and did her best to explain things, but I strongly believe a loan officer should be present and actively involved during closing. On a positive note, the warranty department has been very responsive and quick to address and resolve any issues. A generic boilerpate experience from beginning to end, having many rules and responses are usually NO. Cookie cutter with a few thrown in freebies to make you feel like you've received something for the money. My recommendation for buyers is do not buy any of the upgrades unless you absolutely require them upon move-in. Then when you want to add things, after close, the cost will be considerably less than what they offer through their third party design center during purchase. Their responses to problems are fantastic.... Though I wouldn't expect anything less based on the experience.

The design very poor. Here are some examples. 1. light switch located far away from entrance. You cannot turn on the lights you get into the house. Need to walk quite a few steps to get to the switch. This can be potential hazard, 2. window location at the entrance is bad. In stead of facing to the sidewalk, it faces to the neighbor. This makes the window is completely useless. 3. The powder room is so tiny. You cannot get in/out the bathroom easily. This can also be potential hazard 4. All faucets are very cheap. Windows are hard to open/close. 5. One light above the stairs installed awkward. It works, but it makes the property looks very cheap. Overall, Lennar is a very cheap builder! ... More

The tile contractor had to come back and and correct his mistakes ,still waiting for the landscaper to replace the dead tree that I was told is dormant back in November and if the contractor who passes himself of as a painter ,then I’m a brain surgeon.

This is a second home and we decided to purchase this house, as it was a "quick sale" by Lennar. The finishings were less than I expected. Everything became an "extra". Could have nicely finished the houses as in the surrounding subdivisions by DR Horton & Adams homes The on site agent was adequate, we had our own agent, the title company was responsive and Lennar's lender was AWFUL.

The process of purchasing the home was good. The overall quality of the home so far is ok but I have had issues with my dishwasher and it has not been fun going back and forth between Lenar and Electrolux, the weather stripping on the front door was trash, and all the items that were identified in the walk through were not fixed as promised.

Would be nice to use better paint. Explain more about the house. The grass around the house is so uneven you can really hurt yourself or anyones that comes to your house. Very dangerous. There is no warranty on the garage floor. There is a crack all the way across the width of the garage floor. Not happy about that!
