After living in the home for two weeks, I feel the craftsmanship of the home was done very cheaply and very economically for the Builder. Materials used as far as fixtures are the cheapest Builder grade they can get. With fixed windows in most of the rooms, other than bedrooms where you need to have egress in case of fire. Cabinet storage is very sparse and the garages are very tiny. This is kind of on us. We should’ve looked closer before our purchase. Lack of use of three-way switches is very annoying, having to return to a far away switch to turn the lights off and then walk through a dark hallway to turn on another light. Interior noise level is quite high. Being able to hear air traffic and car noise from a road that is over a quarter mile away is very annoying and once again displays poor build quality. ... More

Sales person was great! The customer service and handling issues is quite disappointing. I'll stop there...

We are still waiting on various move in, punch list items to be completed.

Received an overall beautiful home by Lennar. We were able to see the home as it was being built and check in on it periodically. At one point we noticed a giant in the concrete subfloor behind the fridge and asked our homebuyer concierge Cary Krepelin how this could be fixed. She said she relayed this information to the build team. Unfortunately we were unable to check on the status of this hole until we moved in and the flooring had already been laid on top. The foreman Robert told us this hole was covered with flashing..... which was a complete lie because we removed the flooring and the hole was still there, no one had made any attempts to fix it. I would rather not have been told a straight lie and just been told that the hole didn't need fixing. Cary K was a below average homebuyer concierge. She told us she would be the liaison for anything we needed during the homebuying process. This was just not true. She was hard to get in contact with, never had up to date information and would just talk in circles without addressing any of our legitimate questions. In the beginning stages of the home buying process I was appointed Sabrina as my home buyer concierge. I was informed I would contact her for any of the home buying process and needs for scheduling and working the process. Working with her was very unprofessional. I called her multiple times for different issues such as scheduling and trying to confirm dates and times for things such as the blue tape walk and closing date. She was unresponsive to multiple phone calls with no intention to call or respond back. She texted me one day after calling her multiple times in the morning and said “one sec I’ll call you back, finishing lunch” and never called back and I had to call her the next day and she answered as if she was confused. I understand people are busy but this type of customer service is unprofessional and make it seem like buying a home isn’t a big deal. This is my second home purchase and honestly I’m kinda glad because this expierence did not feel special. I litterally had to hit up my loan officer Frank for help on things the homebuyer concierge should be doing. I recommend to remind the concierges that these our peoples biggest purchases in there lives and should be taken seriouslyz ... More

Home buying experience was amazing everyone was very helpful. After we bought house and moved in we noticed a lot of issues with things missing and appliances damaged. We would put in work orders and then they would respond with “ contact manufacturer for warranty,” even when it was builders fault for issues. The builders left a lot of things unfinished we had to get them to come back and fix. Phillip the project manager to a different community has been the most helpful. If it wasn’t for him we would not be very happy with our experience with Lennar.

My home still does not have a front door lock. My construction manager told us he ordered the lock a day after we closed on October 21, 2024 and told us he would have it in two weeks. It is now December 12th and the construction manager does not return my calls. He has our garage door opener which he was supposed to use to open the house to install the lock so I will need it back or a replacement. This whole experience is unprofessional!

The quality of the build is sloppy. Paint just was terrible. So many areas with globs, streaks, wall paint going on trim etc.

"We had high expectations for our new home with Lennar Builders, but unfortunately, the final result fell short of the quality we were promised. Despite the considerable investment we made, we are disappointed by the evident quality issues throughout the property, which do not reflect the value we anticipated. After your moved in and any issues you have makes it very very difficult to schedule time with contractors

When doing the pre inspection and the final inspection, check everything. After 45 days in this house I am still finding things that I missed on the inspections. We are still scraping paint and adhesive off the floors. Crooked walls, lumps of sheetrock mud in the corners. Beware of emails that show you how to use your irrigation system and you find out that an irrigation system is not included. Ring doorbell not included

Eric and Chad are the rudest construction managers I have ever dealt with. They don’t do their job properly and blame it to others. I have asked them several times to ask the construction folks not to parked in front of my house and block my driveway. They have argued with me and told me that they can’t ask them where to park! I have it on camera that construction guys parked there vehicle right in front of my drive way for over an hour and I have sent them the photos of the vehicles! They didn’t do anything. I am not very pleased with Lennar for having guys like Eric and Chad as construction managers. They are not qualified to be working for Lennar. I want Lennar management to talk to them and ask them for their rude behavior! I would never deal with Lennar anymore and would never recommend any friends or family just because of those 2 rude folks. They have argued with most of the community over small stuff. They needs to be removed from Lennar. They are representing Lennar and Lennar customers are running away from them. ... More

Overall the home is good, and the build is good, did not face much issues until now. But I am not happy with the customer care post home closing, even during the construction process there was always communication gap from construction manager side, He never kept us in loop on the progress, did not even notify us before drywall were put. I had to contact him to get pre-drywall inspection scheduled and the drywalls were hastily put in so I couldn't get the inspection done. After closing, there are pre-identified issues with the lawn and shrubs which are not tackled by the construction manager, and only response I ever got from him is "Yeah we'll get it done, you need not worry", and no action on the ground to "actually take care of the issue". Appliances are bottom line quality. Too many web sites. Should be one portl with one usr Id and password. Too many regulations. Why do I have to pay an application fee after a project is approved. Not very responsive to some issues. Construction manager and staff make promises and take too long, if at all, to respond.

The overall process was very easy. Everything was pretty much done online at the convenience of own time on my phone such as the closing documents was done on my phone, so that was pretty neat. I would honestly say that these homes are built very cheap. The materials and labor that go into the home can be so much better. It’s like they are instructed to get the cheapest materials possible for everything that goes into your home but charge the homeowner an arm and a leg for the mortgage. Other than that, my Collier home is a pretty decent home for a couple or very small family.

Our overall experience was going smoothly until our closing day. Lennar did not have keys to our own home and wanted us to sign off on the walk thru. It took over 2 hours to get our keys. We were diligent in our walk thru with the Lennar rep prior to closing. Point out defects that need to be fixed. 2 days before closing they still had not completed all of the issues. We hired our own home inspector which I highly recommend. Lennar’s warranty claim process is a joke. We have a one year warranty to report any issues. We filed a claim for the Ring Doorbell. This was a joke. The home warranty rep was of no help. We had to have the electrician come to check the wiring. The wiring was perfect. Then we had to contact Ring. Lennar did not tell us to call their dedicated Ring account. After several hours in the phone with Ring we were shipped a new unit. Ring gave us a free code to redeem installation after the new unit was received. The tech came out and installed the new doorbell and we were finally up and running with our doorbell security cam. This took us over 6 weeks to get resolved with no assistance from Lennar. Our second issue was with the pavers. We did not catch at inspection that about 12 or so are not exactly the same color. I am not sure if the ran out of pavers when installing ours and used some they already had or what. When they are wet you do not notice the mismatch as much. However when dry it is obvious. Filed a warranty claim again. The rep they have for warranty claims is a very. Rude and angry individual. He does not care about your issue. He told us we should have caught this at walk thru and it was not covered under warranty. I r Requested the page number from the warranty that states this. He then started being aggressive to the point we just had to ignore him. It seems from our point of view that the quality control at Lennar is minimal. We understand that been new builds will have flaws. However, when you have a one year home warranty from the builder it should not be a challenge to get it resolved. We do love our home and we have met some wonderful neighbors. Please make sure you check every nook and cranny at your walk hour and hire a third party unbiased home inspector. Our inspector had and 85 page report which included pictures. Be educated and be aware. ... More

We were excited to be in our new house not until we moved in and started seeing a lot of issues. Half of the flooring of the entire house is messed up. A lot of issues from the finishing and the HVAC, mainly the most important things and part of the house. The appliances are all monogram but has issues already. Luckily the customer service people are really nice to accommodate me for all my complaints.And that’s the only consolation we get because Doug from customer service is just exceptional! The house is beautiful really beautiful, we love the floor plan but the quality and how you can feel that it was rush to get done is ridiculous ! The quality of the house is not worth of the price we’re paying for. I wake up everyday and I just feel sad coz this is meant to be our dream home.We never had a problem with Pardee which is our first home for 10 years. Never ever again that we are going to invest another property with Lennar. ... More

Consider the cost of add ons you will have to purchase on your own to your purchase price ie gutters, window coverings, finishing the fence, etc.

Everyone involved was helpful during during buying process. After closing we reported two problems that have not been corrected. But we are very happy with the house and the location.

Our brand new home is absolutely gorgeous, however the level of workmanship, materials and follow through to correct issues is a disappointment. There is no way you will notice everything at your walkthrough or even within the first 30 days since closing. We have noticed cracks in bathroom floors, scratches in sinks, chips in floors, extremely loud garage doors, nicks in cabinetry, very low quality shelving in kitchen, only one shelf in lower kitchen cabinets, lowest quality toilets and faucets and sadly, so much more. Closets are also built with cheap wire shelving and every unit comes with an unfinished room or closet, no shelving in showers except in master bath and rooms with no ceiling lights. For the price paid for our gorgeous unit, you would assume that everything would be in tip top shape. Owners of brand new construction deserve better and should not be expected to hire contractors to take care of these items upon moving in, including outside decks or patios. ... More

Low quality materials used - especially the flooring Home came with very little- needed sprinkler system and gutters No towel racks or toilet paper holders There was phone jacks in kitchen and bedroom- need I say more I even had a roof leak first month None of their contractors spoke English But construction manager was excellent in responding to needed fixes

Good price for san diego but keep an eye on quality. They build houses against the clock so theres lots of defects on the houses. Be ready to be patient with them and wait to see if they will help you get it done correctly after you sign it. They do not care of delivering good quality to new homeowners.

The only item that made this buy less than wonderful was the broken timeline promises and that was only caused by poor workmanship. Time and time again we had to postpone our move due to items that were either incomplete or poorly executed. Seems like pride in workmanship is a thing of the past in new built homes. Had things been done right at the beginning, we would have met our deadlines. Also, it would have been nice to receive some sort of follow-up from our salesman. Once we signed the paperwork for the purchase, we never heard back from him. The items that needed attention after we moved in have been resolved quickly. Poor craftsmanship and clearly poor quality control. Land was not prepped before sod was laid. I've been here two months and I'm still pulling up softball size chunks of concrete, nails, screws, saw blades, galvanized steel brackets. The sod is low quality, 1/8 of it is dead, not dormant, but dead, a third of it is infested with weeds. Half of the walls aren't straight, either y'all can't afford a chalk line, level, plumb bob, tape measure, or the quality of the lumber isn't worth the cost of the house. The longer I'm here the more things I see that make me regret buying from a builder. I won't recommend Lennar nor will I ever purchase a Lennar home again. 1. Closing delayed do to incorrect filing with the city. 2.Never received final Closing papers. 3. Not given access to main entrance for several day finally after numerous complaints received them. 3. Many issues brought to construction Superintendent with his promise to fix such as: Peeling paint on doors Chipped pavers on driveway Papers not removed on exterior vents Came and removed a gutter that was not supposed to be installed and never returned to patch holes
