They did improve and nice work

Communication throughout the process was poor. On the scheduled closing day, Lennar could not even communicate whether or not we were actually going to close on that day -- which was extremely frustrating. We learned the hard way that Lennar rushed to complete the project and some short cuts were taken -- which are still being addressed.

While we are mostly happy with the finished product, our buying experience has, at times, been a struggle. The estimated closing date was off by almost 4 months. Fortunately we were not selling a house, so this was only a disappointment. We have learned that others that did sell had to scramble for temporary housing. In addition, a number of basic items (mirrors, shower enclosures, vanity lighting, closet shelving, etc) was not installed / fully completed on our settlement date. We waited multiple weeks to have these things addressed. And lastly, our building does not yet have rain gutters. Every time it rains the roof runoff causes the mulch to wash all over the walkway. The most troubling thing about this is that 2 buildings completed well AFTER our building have rain downspouts already installed. While our experience with Lennar’s warranty team has been satisfying, one should not have to go through “warranty” to have incomplete items addressed that should have been, but were never, complete at closing. You get the impression that Lennar’s attention focuses more on getting their pre-settlement units completed / closed versus completing work on their post-settlement units. ... More

The loan officers and sales representatives were very helpful. The second construction manager, Chris, DID NOT follow through on the items he promised would be fixed and they still are not fixed. This puts unnecessary stress on the buyer.

I have had a pleasant experience with purchasing this home.

Brian has resolved every issue I have had. He is a good listener and a great resolver of problems in my home.

This was the most unorganized build I have ever had. I used Lennar mortgage and title, thinking it would help communications. However, none of them seemed to communicate nor even know what the other was doing. I had unbelievable issues at every step. My closing was a disaster of miscommunication and they ended up missing 2 pages for me to sign. Then hounded me to sign the pages and fedex them. I have very obvious damages, which were just ignored until after closing and are now “warrenty”. Including a dropped dryer with the back dented in. The grinding noise made me call GE. These are just a few of my issues. The local warranty man makes me very uncomfortable as he keeps asking to be invited to my hot tub. ... More

Amazing experience, great home and fabulous construction team and warranty team.

First walk-through inside and secund not finished, dishwasher sinse November 30 not install, is January 17, front door entrance no weather strip doesn't lock correctly, bedrooms doors unlevel and 20 more issues. Please come en see.

So many things broken poor job v careless, around Christmas I had leaking ceiling that’s was sat someone came on Tuesday since they waited I had another leak in bedroom wet carpet, couldn’t find a leak , left different people came days later opened up more ceiling and wall upstairs bedroom what happened was when they were installing the ceiling they hit with the nails sprinkler system pipes which made the leaking happen, I had so many things to fix in this place they still working on it , if I would know new house was like this with so many issues I no would never buy this place, v poor job people that are doing the inside work are not Qualified people . ... Closing was scheduled by Lennar before all work completed. The front door was painted while we have final walkthrough on the date of closing. Many substandard jobs was done in a rush. The construction manager and customer care team were very responsible and took care of many left over jobs.

We have been given 6 different closing periods. We finally closed after being offered an incentive because you needed to close out their year end books. We still only have a TCO but no CO due to a list of 20 items that need to be fixed: we have no shower in the master, electrical switches that don’t operate anything, half the doors are missing, moldings are missing, it had to be replastered and needs painting, cabinets need to be fixed, tiles are chipped, front door needs to be sealed, plus other issues. According to the amended contract the unit was supposed to be completed January 1/23 we are now bringing it to arbitration. When we voice issues and concerns to sales or construction team managers we are ignored or told what we want to hear but with no positive results. We had planned on renting our home out for the season but have lost that opportunity due to the home being in finished. All of our neighbors are frustrated as well and I will not be recommending this builder to anyone in the future. ... More

For the most part things are ok. Small issues have been addressed. However we’ve been here almost 2 months and still not been able to have 30 review. Have reached out and not heard back

Love my home and the quality is fantastic, I had one issue with a light and they came out and fixes it the same week, I can't say enough about how much I love my home.

Scott is trying to resolve the too numerous to count issues and is the only positive for Lennar I would be happy to expand but this has not been what I would have wanted or expected

I would advise them to make sure issues were completed prior to signing on the dotted line. This is my third Lennar home and worst customer service experience thus far. Overall workmanship in house is good. Service after the sale and attention to needs has ruined this experience for me.

It’s worth buying the home. Mellisa at the office, David in construction were awesome. The speed they guild these at, leaves a very high margin of sloppy work. We have curved walls. Over lapping paint. Uneven trims , hole hiding behind the oven. Bad landscaping ( sprinkler covered with sod) uneven sod. Despite all of this the house good home. It’s well insulated, the floor plan is well thought out . The ac and heater work. Yup it’s beats renting!

At the direction of the contractor, items were changed or removed because of supply issues? and this was nor communicated in all circumstances to us. We are missing items in our home that were included in the sales process but not installed prior to a "hurried" closing,

The buying process was great Zach followed up with us through the construction process. My biggest disappointment is the quality and the workmanship and finishes. Skip trowel finish on walls terrible done buy someone who didn't know what they were doing. We love the house and community just wish better care should be take with interior finishes.

For the location and square feet the price was right. Craftsmanship of the concrete finishers is very poor, light fixtures are very cheaply made. Painters and flooring craftsmanship is very poor. In areas were there is a big growth rate, like our area in Foley, they build the houses so fast so quantity is more important than quality.

The closing experience they have it on point, but responsiveness to issues is a failure. Still waiting on stuff from the exemption list to be fixed. Every time they say they are coming they just waste my time because they don’t show up and the response is just ohh well.

It’s all peaches and cream during the initial buying process. You get the sales pitch. You view the model homes. They are meticulous from ceiling to floor. You choose your home. The build begins. 5 months later your new home is ready to view for the first time. The New Home Orientation begins. The excitement builds. You arrive to see your driveway ripped up. Roof unfinished. Nothing mechanical working in the home. A/C. Hot water. Thermostat missing. 100 degrees inside. I could go on but it’s been exhausting reliving that day. Lennar blew it on making a great first impression. It’s been over 2 months and there’s still deficiencies waiting to get addressed. Lennar….do it right the first time…would be a building philosophy to adhere to. I thought my issues were a one of however mine are just added to the pile as many other residents have the same or worse. We’re trying hard to keep calm, carry on and be positive. Life’s too short to worry. Lennar don’t give a darn once they have your cash. I’ve sent 2 other reviews to Lennar as glowing as this one. I’ve yet to hear from anyone from that Company. ... More

The house finishes and detailing are beyond mediocre. Then the response is slow and disorganized. It becomes a full time for the buyers to get the support to fix the issues we have.

Everything about this home buying process was miserable and it was made worst when we moved in. We spent over a million dollars on this home and it is made so poorly. They even forgot to put air ducts in my home.. how do you miss that. The only thing that has come out of it, is that these issues have made me bond with my neighbors over our infatuation of Lennar and our home. I even told one of the builders I wasn't happy with lennar and as opposed to asking me why.. he said "thats a common theme". If it is a common theme then fix it. I am so incredibly disappointed that I can't enjoy my million dollar home ... More

This was my 2nd home purchase and it was definitely way worse then my 1st. My main issue was the sales representative from lennar. With how poor the service was it was like they didn't want me to buy a house.
