I feel like they are in such a hurry to throw these houses up that the workmanship gets compromised. I have been in my home for 2 months and have had multiple repair orders put in 4 things that should have been taken care of the first time. I feel like once they get your name on the dotted line you are just a number. They are more concerned with getting their bonuses then the customer experience of getting a quality product. Not having a pool in Phase 5 was a terrible decision on the part of the builder. 1 pool for all of Belle Harbor is ridiculous.

Underwriting is tough but trust your getting a good home build! A home with good bones, & good materials. Lennar is excellent at responding to issues. They make sure you love your home! They guide you virtually every step of the way! If you choose lennar like we did you will not regret it just be diligent and don’t overpay!

Price was good. Included were ring and window coverings. Upgrades were good. Sales agent was helpful. Good location . Good quality.

Nice homes but management needs work. Too many things going on at one time so a lot of miscommunication and things needing to be done. We've been here since Thanksgiving and things are still being done on our house that should have already been dealt with. They are being done but poor management in the process. Tried to hard to get to much done during this phase.

I really like our house and love the location and community I will in.

We have so far had a good experience with Lennar

Everything was going great until last minute we were required to bring more money to closing. The drive through closing was just not ideal. But overall we love our home and anything that has gone wrong was fixed or waiting to be fixed

Still trying to get some warranty issues resolved, has taken over 2 months and still not satisfied with results.

We are happy with all the appliances and electronics. The home was built on time and up to quality standards.

Our House title was to be titled to our Trust. The information was given to the Lennar Salesperson. We learned after our closing, that our house deed was not titled to our Trust. We were told that the Salesperson left his position, abruptly, and left unfinished business. This caused considerable inconvenience and expense on our part.

For the most part was happy, my upgraded tile floor still looks very poorly done. Problem was not addressed properly and lennar refused to fix it properly

My biggest problem is with the shifting of closing costs to the buyer. As a real estate attorney in Illinois I am not used to everything being shifted to the buyer and so many "made up" costs like the builders' fee. Isn't the builders fee the price of the house?

Great style, layout, location, and overall value for the purchase price. Home buying experience was not so great. New home celebration was hours of QCing the contractor work and we found so many deficiencies which got corrected for the most part befote moving in. Mortgage process was not so great, either. We ended up leaving the buyer agent's contribution on the table due to lack of attention to detail by the loan officer.

I am enjoying my Lennar home and community! I'm definitely pleased with my choice. The workmanship was good overall and you definitely get the bang for your buck. However, the sales office & communication needs improvement. I was given misinformation about my final figures, and my agent chose to make it right out of her commission. My sales agent was less responsive once I signed the contract, and there was definitely little communication within our new community about issues related to development. My experience purchasing a Lennar home was, just okay. Not great, but not terrible. I would recommend buying a Lennar home, as they're built well and often are marked down quite a bit (they initially start higher than most for this reason though). The fact that they negotiated pricing and incrntives was great! I would just suggest being on top of things yourself, as your new home buyer info regarding your property maintenance etc. is not provided to you in a handy binder (like I've experienced with other builders) but is all located on your online portal. Lastly, they should be calling new home owners 15 days into closing escrow to follow up regarding any concerns on the property (they say they'll do this) be aware that you may need to reach out to them (as I did, never recieved a follow up as they mentioned). LOVE: 1. The floor plan and size 2. The screened porch 3. The absence of a garden tub in the master 4. The bench in the master bath shower 5. The linen closet in the master bath 6. The size of all the rooms, very spacious 7. The loft/flex space on the second floor 8. The layout of the neighborhood, plenty of distance from neighbors 9. The walking trails are wonderful 10. The tray ceiling in the master bedroom Do not love: 1. No peephole on front door or other way to see who is at the front door, forcing me to use Ring, which I despise and don’t want to pay for. 2. Finishes and fixtures look and feel cheap and flimsy 3. Having to install my own blinds has been a much bigger headache and expense than anticipated. I asked for blinds before purchasing and was told no. 4. I really hate the glass door to the screened porch. It makes me feel very unsafe and I wish I could have chosen a different door. Replacing it has been expensive and difficult. 5. Unclear communication about warranties. 6. No hand towel racks installed in the second floor bathrooms. Not expensive or difficult to install myself but feels cheap to have omitted them. Overall, I don’t know if I would have bought the house knowing what I know now. It was the best option for the price at the time. I really like the house overall, but the fixtures/finishes, back door, blinds, and Ring (and not having options) are reasons I would not recommend Lennar. ... More

The whole team was quite attentive minus the Lennar Sales Concierge, calls or emails were almost ever returned. I was unsure what this role entailed as there was no assistance in that matter. The lender side was extremely responsive and attentive, quick as well.

This is my second Lennar purchase. The actual home buying experience was Rocki, and there was turnover in the personnel that I worked with that complicated the situation. Ultimately, we were able to resolve all of the hiccups and closed. The folks at Lennar Title were very pleasant and responsive. The Lennar mortgage team was more hit and miss. I did not feel that the homebuyer orientation covered everything that it should have, but I’m happily settling in. And generally pleased with the purchase.

We really didn't feel like Lennar cared about our needs during the closing process. It was all about the close on the date they chose. No flexibility at all.

Loved so many things about my Lennar home, except the appliances picked, poor quality, the back covered porch was a bad choice on lennars part, it makes the beautiful home look cheap.

Ask absolutely everything and read the contract, even if it's long. You should hire a separate inspector for the day of the inspection and acceptance of the house because you don't know what to look for except the basics, if the property comes with many defects. You should ask in advance about the exact measurements of the patio, for example, so as not to be surprised. You should ask about the appliances that are not included now, the garage door opener, which is also not included, and especially about the non-impact windows. At this point, this shouldn't be the case. The construction in general, when compared to other Lennar properties we've purchased, shows that they are increasingly using cheaper materials or contractors. Regarding the sales process, prepare for stressful days. Perhaps it's because Lennar and any construction company have many regulations and laws to comply with, but the process, unless you come with cash or with absolutely everything perfect, is stressful. Don't forget to look at other construction projects before closing a deal. The staff in general, both in sales and in the construction and delivery supervisors, are very friendly and professional, but I think Lennar's policies, processes, and regulations make buying a home one of the most stressful processes you can experience. Perhaps it's the same with all construction companies, but be sure to ask questions, inquire, and be sure of what you're buying. ... More

Unorganized, inconsistent communication, customer journey from point A to point Z. Lennar said they experienced many “glitches” when it came to our poor customer experience…Our realtor saved this deal and it is the only reason we closed on this home.

It was quite overwhelming during the initial process because of a ton of emails! Difficult to keep track. Once we signed, response to needs was great! AJ was great and took care of needed repairs quickly!

The process could have been better… Looks like shortcuts were taken with some issues… A week of being in the home we had no heat, the garage door needed to be repainted, and brick was coming off the house. Nonetheless, all issues were handled immediately. Our cable was cut twice by the trades building behind the house. The closing was streamlined and efficient.
