Basically all these should be 1 or 2s. Only reason I gave more is I got a deal. Only one person deserves five stars in the whole process and that’s my loan officer. My cons was a still amazingly dirty to the point I actually missed stuff on my walk through that were damage. Having plaster everywhere. I have to get on my hands and knees to clean my flooring cause it has paint and plaster on verywhere and I have to scrub it out the groves. I had one 2 min phone call from Title. I had to call my loan officer to find out I closed. Then mortgage didn’t have the decency to call me when they sold the loan cause it was too late. I got the paperwork from the other mortgage company 2 weeks before I got anything from lennar. And by the time I got it from them and realized I owed one payment to lennar it was past due already. Received it after the due date. A phone call would have helped that it would have been a 2 min phone call hey calling you to let you know all this is happening and what to expect I know we are a little late on paperwork but it’s coming. ... Very shoddy workmanship. Many problems. No response

The overall experience is not what I expected. There were and still are many issues with our home. We closed 11/30 and still have not fully moved in due to outstanding issues such as air conditioner not running properly. Windows have issues and can’t close and can’t lock some of them. Lots of small issues that have been taken care of but just the overall time and effort it took to get the problems fixed was exhausting. Sprinklers have a leak which is causing us to use over 2000 gallons of water a day which is going to give us an extremely expensive water bill. Construction manager has done his best to get issues fixed but the trades response time and quality of work has been poor to average at best. ... More

This is my third Lennar home and by far the worst experience I have had purchasing a new home. I closed six weeks ago and there are a few items that aren't even complete yet, and many repairs that need to be made, I flew into town for my walk through, and noone showed up until I flagged down one of the sales guys. Very disappointed.

He was great throughout the experience.

We have been waiting to get internet line ran to our home for over 3 weeks.

I commend Lennar for their quick responses to issues I’ve come across. That being said, I am disappointed in the workmanship. This is my second Lennar purchase in three years. First one was great; this one disappoints.

Overall, the building experience was very unprofessional and done with poor quality. There were several damages on the bathtub, refrigerator, dirt that was not cleaned, almost all kitchen cabinet doors were damaged and poorly repainted. There had to be constant pressure on them for it to be done correctly. Poor craftsmanship was present. They pushed that they be paid even when the unit was not ready.

The home was NOT Move-in-Ready when we did the final walk. Far too many outstanding issues that needed to be fixed and are still NOT fixed! Sloppy paint and caulking job throughout the home. Missing all bathroom fixtures...they were deleted by Lennar without informing their Customers under contract. We have NO light fixtures above the sinks! Unbelievable!! Crocket interior wall still on Warranty list to be fixed. Drywall texture on several walls are really rough and uneven. Sloppy painting and caulking throughout. Missing trim in several areas of kitchen and bath cabinets. Brick Walkway very uneven and paint splatter on bricks So many issues! Lennar only cares about getting homes Sold & Closed...not about Customer Satisfaction. So unhappy with this buying experience! ... More

In my experience the sales effort and aggressive chase for wire transfers long before the house was anywhere near completion was unprofessional. A 1:00pm walk thru for a 4:00pm closing when the interior doors where still in the garage along with many poorly done items in and around the house. Closed the next day with many open items. Still today dozen or more items not done. Appointment for Dec.23, garage door not working correctly and very noisy still no show. Awakened by dripping water while in bed, leaking roof. Interior paint job is horrible. Many spots in paint and chips or missing grout in floor not addressed yet. Broken tiles, chipped doors, not yet fixed. I can see grout lines in ceiling that should never show. Front door does not close properly, bad trim work around doors painted over. Contractors leaving paint or other stains in driveway. Holes in patio concrete. Far to many issues to list. Still today after two months blue stickers all over house. Your service after sale is rated less than one star. I cannot trust you to stand behind your work. Your service after the sale should be as aggressive as your sales and wire deposit efforts. The process of picking out and paying for the home was simple enough however the contact for using lennar mortgage and getting the unfinished work completed has been another story. Lennar pushes incentives to close quicker but did not use them, I ask to buy down the rate but all they did was 1/8 point leaving over $10k of incentive unused. The other item pushing the close was that the property was unfinished and I have yet to hear back on when it will be completed. Lennar needs to have better customer service!

Make sure you work with right person and don’t ever take the verbal consent about no loan origination charge when you take loan from lennar. They had said there will be no origination charge on loan but took my 3000$. I mentioned them more than 10 times before the closing of the house and they said they will take care of it. House has been closed and they said they will work on it and now they are ignoring all means of communication. Ridiculous. This will be the first and last time home buying with Lennar.

Lennar released property to me as a purchaser with grading and drainage issues. Part of the property is a retention wall, house is built on a slope. During the construction, after hurricane Ian sink holes appeared on the property. In the next couple of visits, I expressed my concern with the stability of the land, but construction engineer said that Lennar will do it right. In good faith, I trusted that the builder have good reputation and will not allow unsolved problems before passing the property to the purchaser. I was very very wrong… 10 days after the closing, sink holes and hazard appeared on the property and compromised the integrity of the retention wall. The site is devastating. Here now about 45 days i am getting run-around and their land development that was supposed to come for assessment 2 days ago never showed up. We made attempt to connect with the warranty point person, he didn’t return the call. No one deserves this, huge problems, anxiety, concerns. I cannot even begin to explain the hardship in this journey that took all the joy and experience of a new home that I worked for all my life. ... More

The builders are absolutely horrible when it comes to cleaning the cleaning the areas of the homes they are currently building, they do not block off the areas where sod hasn't been placed so when it rains, we have a continuous mud slide along with settled mud in front of our new home and on our block. It's lazy workmanship not to leave those areas in a position where homeowner have to shovel mud and clean up excessive amounts of trash. This is far beyond a small issue, when my car slides on the mud because it is so thick. It makes it that much worse when we are told they only clean the streets on Wednesdays and Fridays, whoever is overseeing the builders of this area is doing a subpar job or the standards are extremely low ... Very happy with the quality of our home.

The process went very smoothly I was kept informed at all times Whenever I had a concern it was addressed in a timely manner . My only concern was that as a senior citizen the virtual challenges we faced was not taken into consideration, which caused some frustration

Overall everything was easy and very stress free. From customer service to financing to maintenance has been great. The lower stars were simply about materials but overall I am loving my home.

We felt Lennar rushed in building the homes so there were lots of little mistakes with paint, drawer handles to shower glass doors not properly installed, etc. I guess this is what we have to expect in purchasing a newly built home. But overall, Lennar does a great job of building a very efficient smart home. You get a great value for your money. The on-site team are great and always willing to assist with any issues on the house.

Lennar is horrible. Offered an outrageous interest rate. Had us do a walkthrough when the house was nowhere close to being ready. Rude and unaccommodating staff. Extremely stressful and disappointing experience.

The most horrible experience, I have purchased many new homes this by far was the worst.

Have some exception items after closing on 11/23/22. As of today 1/12/23, still not completed. Even scheduled for work, yet never show up on time and causing us to wait at home.

Lennar makes a great final product… if it ever gets finished. Lennar forced us to move into our house early when there was a list of at least 28 items long incomplete. That includes broken cabinets and glass, holes in walls and electrical problems. We move in a month ago and have maybe brought the list down to 26 items. Lennar sold an unfinished product just so its management can receive bonus. Dirty business. Home once complete I’m sure will be beautiful.

We identified multiple issues throughout the process of the build, yet they were not rectified. Now we are stuck with a large inconvenience as these things still need to be fixed and the emotional stress of not being able to fully move into our new house. The house has to be repainted, multiple windows replaced due to improper installation leaving windows to not close, the conditioned crawl space was not professionally done, multiple finishing issues throughout the house, and the exterior of the house has equal amount of finishing issues and sections of concrete needing to be repoured due to wood and debris being allowed to get into the concrete causing it to crack due to water/ice expansion. Even the design is flawed, given we have over a 110 gallon master bath tub but only a 50 gallon water heater. Industry standard calls for a minimum 2/3 ratio which would be approximately a 75 gallon water heater (why not install a tankless system???). The mortgage/lending team were not familiar with the military or VA loans which was disheartening. I feel like I grossly overpaid, expecting a Lennar quality home that you’d see in other states, but received an “economy” build where you’d expect corners to be cut and quality to be poor.
