Everyone tried Very hard to accommodate me and that I appreciated

They need to improve on the materials they are using for the building. The contractor needs to do excellent work for their clients please

The quality control is not the best, the finish of the house was really bad.

I had to make multiple calls to get any information and it delayed my closing and I had to escalate to the manager. Also, the warranty team is very slot in response no due diligence.

Not a fan of materials used in any part of the home. The paint/ and workmanship was awful.

Home bugging and lot selections were all quick and easy to understand. We received brief updates and pictures on a weekly basis. Constructing prices was quicker than usual. Closing was easy. For anyone choosing to build, Please inspect carefully. Materials may not be the best of quality nor sturdy.

Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

Home comes with a good amount of damage, then they claim it’s not under lennar warranty

Bought new home. Overall happy with home, but things to be aware of. 1. AC system was undersized by 1 Ton. Took a month to get someone to acknowledge, believe and do something about. 2. Yard wasnt levled and prepared correctly. One whole back corner wasnt cut down and mowed until days before close. It is a sinkhole now, waiting for this to be fixed almost 2 months after close. 3. Attic insulation was shorted by 4"-6" - how is this missed at inspections? 4. Quality of some items is less than builder grade 5. Neighborhood warranty person is great, they have to fight upstream against company to get things done right House was a good price and value, but these items should in no way have been missed at multiple inspections. It was a fairly easy experience to buy a new home from Lennar. The whole process was great and very pleasant. After you buy they have not responded to issues, I had to resort to calling the installers to fix issues like flooding in the yard. In addition, I entered multiple service requests and have not received any communications from Lennar.

The experience up to the point of sale was good. Build quality was average at best and poor in several areas - electrical sockets were not flush to the wall with a visible gap, corners overlapped and no effort to fix, broken counter top slab was still used and too late to fix, AC filter was shoved incorrectly causing issues. Customer service post sale was poor to average - you can raise tickets but no way to follow up or even know what ticket was submitted(if you raised many), they ask to sign off with just a request number with no clue on what it refers too, no ETA on fixes, no way to track requests. No way to upload pictures with issues and report on after fixes. ... More

I always liked Lennar, but I see now the poor workmanship that we as new owner have to go through because the sub contractor get away with poor work standards. I have to submit warranty work for basic construction work example kitchen cabinets not leveled properly, rain gutters pitch towards the house and not to the down spout, paint on window frames and screens. MY BRAND NEW TUB big chunk missing and scratches because the subcontractors had cement all over the tub during construction with no protection. FYI I can only pray they taped all of the joints especially in the showers corners.. Lennar big message to you time to hold subcontractor responsible for doing poor work, charge them for all of the work and if you want to meet with me (I’m talking to the CEO and big bosses) Please contact me so i can show you what’s happening in the field. BTW my cabinets are schedule to be repaired in late August (I bought the house late February) and my tub repair is scheduled for August 1,2023. I have very good experience with Jon and my loan officer (Christian) and his team. But on my backyard the drainage (landscape) is really bad. I report for lennar home care last month 03/10/2023 and they told me the builder will fix the landscape. It's over a month now and a lot of water on my backyard. There is rain last Wednesday after 6 days still a lot of water.

the floors in this home are so hard that have been in excruciating pain since moving in and I consider this house unlivable! if I could trade it in I would it. I cannot recommend anyone buy a home from lennar if this is the type of flooring that will be in your home. the pain I am in out weighs any good. I will say that responsiveness has been quick but no avail. The overall home buying experience besides a few delays was pretty good the salesperson James was very helpful and patient, and I felt Diana who did the walk through was trustworthy, but again, the flooring is so awful I would have to give it a zero on quality of workmanship and materials is substandard and I would see inhumane and criminal. I do not think the value is worth what I paid and after 8 months of looking for a home and moving over 1,000 and all of the obstacles I faced to get here, I am looking to get out in less than one month of moving in ... Cheap homes from appliances to build quality not worth 400k

House was not clean and details with trim not great. I have a crooked window and walls that are not straight over spray paint on all the floors and windows.

Still waiting for things to be fixed under warranty because Lennar wanted to close and so many issues that needed to be fixed. If things were fixed correctly and in a timely manner, I would have given better marks. My advice for future owners would be to make sure the house is up to your standards. Make sure its clean. Things that need to be fixed, get them fixed before closing because they are slow at responding to your concerns after you close. It wasn’t a terrible experience but once you close, you are an afterthought.

The closing experience they have it on point, but responsiveness to issues is a failure. Still waiting on stuff from the exemption list to be fixed. Every time they say they are coming they just waste my time because they don’t show up and the response is just ohh well.

Uses a lot of cheap material.Rushing the work and it shows. We went through the walk through and they said they checked everything but things were not.

The air conditioning does not work properly. Cannot accept it for a brand new home.

Lennar forgets about you after closing.

Had a lovely, attentive, and thorough homebuying experience with Hyatt and would highly recommend him. The only detail I’d call out is I didn’t learn about the required solar lease/purchase until I had already made a purchase decision. If you appreciate detail you may have a frustrating first few weeks (maybe months) trying to get issues fixed. Missing network outlet, subfloor squeaks, sheetrock mud embedded in carpet fibers, broken shower tile, uneven tile, broken recirc light and the list goes on. I am still working through tickets that have been open for over a month. If you buy with Lennar be sure to be as thorough as you can on pre-close walkthrough. They say there’s no need to worry because you have a year warranty if you don’t catch something, but if you don’t they lose incentive to fix it in a timely manner and you will be left managing open tickets when you’re in the home. With that said the price the price paid made this a great value and I don’t regret the decision at all - would do it again. For half $1 million Dollars, the home wiring is all messed up. I’m trying to get it completed.

I had issue with my gutter directions. I complaints about the issue to lennar but they just manipulate my concern and instead of taking my request just said buy gutter extension but that is not a solution of my request i have paid about $500k for my home and there is big mess of mulch on my walk way to main entry after every rain . Resolution asked is to change the direction of gutters. As i dnt want to put extension because it doesn’t look nice and make my home mess.
