We purchased in late April with being told a September finish//close. We sold our house and figured we would stay in an AirBnb from August until the September close. After relocating, the closing moved then to October, November, December, and then an actual close at the end of January. The contracts are written air tight to not cover any expenses from a “good faith estimate” of closing even when they have actual close dates given to you. We had to pay short term rental costs with some being in season here, with no reimbursement. We also had to actually find the short term rentals by ourselves. No help from Lennar at all. Excuse after excuse as to why there were delays. All we wanted was honesty with a close date and we would have gotten a true rental for 6 months instead of bleeding money for short term rentals .There is no way they should’ve said a September close if they knew what they were doing and then just keep moving it 1 month at a time 4 times. Just tell us the truth and not give false hope over and over. Everything inside is low grade material and the finish workmanship is low grade as well. If it wasn’t the community we wanted and the people in the community not so awesome, we would sell. Also, make sure you get in writing what is included in trim work. We closed the home a couple of months ago. The house was not ready to be closed due to several issues found during the final walkthrough. But we closed as they promised to fix all items on the same day. But they did not fix all issues. I had a terrible experience working with a few folks. After I moved into the house, I found several issues and reported them to Lennar’s warranty department, and waiting for their response. I went back to my apartment in NJ as no internet is available, and I needed to work from home. I fixed several issues associated with the washer. The dishwasher doesn’t work correctly. No power connection to the internet panels. No grounding rod is installed. Poor painting. Overall I had a very bad experience working with Lennar. Hopefully, they will learn one day how to treat customers with respect and gratitude. ... More

Instead of being “ wowed” our home buying experience was terrible. The inside of the home was ok, the tile floors being the worst….in fact we are still trying to get the floors clean and presentable. The customer rep seemed bored and mechanical and did not act on any issues for over a month. Our construction manager Mark was the only reliable person that we could talk to. Workmanship is absolutely terrible. Extremely disappointing to find out that the interior was painted a flat white, no one told us and we spent more money painting that we should have. Lennar should have given us some credit for fixing stark white walls. Even the landscaping was seemingly done without thought. The backyard is bumpy, a friend has already fallen. The workers are careless and there isn’t any craftsmanship. I was told that Lennar is a production builder….I believe it. Wish we could go back in time and have a wonderful experience…..I guess that is only found in dreams. ... More

The service received has been exceptional. Everyone has been helpful and responsive. Now, my not to good experience has been to received the home dirty and having to do service tickets. Other than that, I love my new home.

Move in experience was kind of a hustle. Need to identify al issues immediately and if find other problems must go through on line process that has not been paid attention to. I had to pay for outside people to address my issues.. sorry got into this situation.

We would have given an overall higher score had we not used Lennar Mortgage. The process of securing our mortgage was complicated, confusing and duplicative. On the other hand we love our home and have found Lennar to be very responsive to our questions and to any concerns we may have had.

This home buying experience has been a total nightmare. Everything from poor workmanship to electrical, plumbing, door issues, etc. We closed 2 months ago and still have multiple issues that have not been taken care of. In addition, we found out after we closed on our house that Lennar does not include screen doors on the patio doors! We purchase them from C&C window for $720.00. When they went to install them on the triple slider, they couldn't install because the door frame was installed incorrectly. C&C replaced the door jam and installed the screens but in the process ripped out a big section of drywall and Stucco that still hasn't been repaired. In addition to that I still have a list of 14 items that have not been corrected. Once they get your money, good luck with getting issues fixed. ... More

Very low quality of workmanship, low quality of material everywhere.

Title side and portal are not recommended. Plus 2% commissions is just wrong

My family and I are so happy with our Lennar home! From the beginning, our sales associate, Logan, was patient with all of our questions, provided detailed information and helped us get the process started. The home itself has been wonderful, we're 2 months in and other than some minor issues, we're so pleased. If anything does arise, our warranty rep, Melanie, is so responsive in getting things handled or keeping us posted on timeframes. Highly recommend Lennar!

Debrah and Bret were amazing! Debra sent us pics of the home, lot, and neighborhood . She would go out if her way on her days off to answer questions and measure rooms for us. We purchased our home site unseen. Bret is still fixing the Warrenty issues we have. He truely cares about us and getting our home perfect!!!

The experience was not really good did not keep us updated with the home, and closing was a mess.

We discovered some damage a week after closing and brought it to Lennar's attention. The Lennar customer rep took the info plus our assurance that we did not cause the damage, and then got back to us that because we didn't discover the damage prior to closing it was on us. We tried to contact the supervisor but were ignored.

The underwriters were unreasonable at every step in the loan process...... at one point I said stop the processes and start the process to refund my deposit , as I was unwilling to provide or unable as some of their requirements were of my bank and they(bank) would not provide to me to then pass on to them......example was showing a deposit on a monthly statement in the month not yet completed required me to go to the bank get a photo copy showing the deposit but because it had bank internal information on the top of the pages they cut off the top of the page showing 1of three and I explained this but after faxing over sixty pages, five trips to banks, I was done BUT when I said stop I give up.... suddenly the underwriters so OK we approve the loan.... love the home hate the process!!!!! ... Overall we're very pleased with our home. Pros include nice design features and lots of included extras, proactive communications from the builder, friendly and helpful representatives, responsive to issues, lots of information provided throughout the process. Cons were a lengthy qualification process, unattractive water and heating unit installations, issues with kitchen cabinet(s) alignment, an unpainted garage, and few options to customize during the build. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of communication they provide and attention paid to our concerns throughout the process, considering how many homes Lennar has under construction at any given time. ... Lennar Sales Team did no do good job in selling the property. Waitlist concept was not implemented and homes (phase-3) were sold on first come first base prior to the email notification of the phase availability etc. i have waited for an year and dreamt for my first home and end up with unsatisfied floor plan.

Don't expect any consideration. Quality is OK only.

Poor services, poor maintanence, reluctant on replying emails. All the house are build with low quality of work materials, Poor works ethics.

Lennar Mortgage was very easy to work with and that was the best part of the purchase. There were many issues I thought would have been done before closing such as soft close cabinets, paint, and other issues that should have been taken care of before closing.
