Lennar was on it when they wanted you to purchase the home… then their responsiveness and flexibility decline from there. Out of all the builders we looked into they were the least flexible with allowing anything to happen before closing, which is understandable. they are very strict with allowing anything their rules leading up to closing then almost seem to want to disappear after that. Our salesman, Norman, kept trying to sell us something we did not want and, although, we were #1 on a house, we walked in on a conversation with another prospective where he was about to sell them the house we had been promised. We were just waiting for the house to be released to put our money down. We have had trouble getting warranty work completed. Dead tree in the backyard

They have closing I had two dead trees, one front one and back. I have been dealing with a gentleman that is horrible. His name is KRIS I have probably 50 text messages of him saying they are going to replace both trees, but they only replaced the one in front, two days after I moved in I had Prince and Son evaluate both trees. I purchased my home about 2 months ago . I am just finding outlets that don’t work the molding is cracked and the shower drain isn’t finished. I could not be present for my final inspection because I am active duty military and I was away. We moved into our house in March and overall it is great but we immediately had issues with our dishwasher. We also realized that the line from the Lennar sales rep of “we’ll always be there for you” was a bunch of bull. I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

The first home we were purchasing there was a mistake on the paperwork and they wouldn’t do anything about it. So we lost the house and they were nice enough to transfer our money to the new home but they failed to tell us that the property was not level and only that it was a little larger and that they would not do anything about it. Then when we had the first walk through we told them about some items and they told us they would have them fixed by the time the final inspection was complete but they lied about it and told us they had them fixed and or replaced but they lied to us again. ...

We purchased our current home from California. It was a fairly smooth process and going through the financial was great. We had a great sales person. However, the quality of home was not what we expected. I would say for the most part, the tile setters were the worst. Altogether the home is decent, but the workmanship was shoddy in places, with some carelessness, sloppiness, or not paying attention to details. And many issues that needed fixing that we pointed out even before closing still have not been fixed more than a month and a half later. The included appliances, cabinets, and flooring seem to be the cheapest Lennar could find. Lots of sloppy job done. finished product is not up to the standard. I had to hire handyman to finish touchups needed. The home is not built with love. lousy paint job, imperfections in drywall, baseboards are not aligned with the floor properly. etc.

The Mortgage and Loan Dept were amazing and an easy process, thank you for this. After purchasing the model though. Different story, we have had many issues in the home, no one responds because it is the Model, and you buy "as is". You reach out and no response. Construction Manger Scott His management style is friendly, and his feedback is always constructive. he always had time for discussion. His willingness to listen and advise constructively is far beyond expectations of any manager. Loan officers Corey / Chris where always accessible they where very analytical and can really break down complex figures into bit and pieces. They are very Helpfull.

While the purchasing part was easy smooth and fun the moving in was the most stressful. I will explain why. I moved in with a lot of cosmetic issues. The paint was poorly done inside and out. However once you’ve paid for your home, the Lennar team severely lacks in finishing anything that needs to be corrected and fixed. You get stuck on a waitlist behind other already established homes. These were items that should have been fixed BEFORE I ever moved in. 2 months later I’m still waiting for corrections.

The carpet was almost like indoor/outdoor carpeting with no upgrade options, so we tore out and spent $10K at Home Depot for nice carpet. Dealing with landscaping issues as are yet unresolved. Exterior painting was very poor on the trim work. The sales process with Michelle was fantastic and she helped us immensely and we are very grateful to her for that! Thanks Michelle!!!!

Had a lot of issues from the morning we were closing until 3 months after we closed. The crew that did the grass left a bunch of wet concrete in the yard after rolling the sod down. They came and rolled after we closed. Now it’s either big chunks of concrete in our front and backyard or dig it up and have to fill with soil and new sod ourselves. The design of the home is great. Unfortunately the trade partners they select to build the house is poor. The subs slap things together and then leave it up to the finish crew to REALLY finish the house. To make matters worse, their finish crew is short- staffed and it takes FOREVER to get things complete.
