The process was rushed so couldn’t shop for our own lender or insurance. That caused multiple closing issues. Need minor things fixed and still waiting. Overall wonderful build but process frustrating.

Most of the people we worked with through the process were very nice and answered any questions we had. Small hiccups here and there but that’s to be expected with such an extensive process. Buying a new construction home is MUCH more stressful than buying something already done, just so you know, at least in Nevada. Our home was close to half a million dollars after we chose some vinyl wide plank flooring, a slightly nicer backsplash for the kitchen, and opted for the slightly nicer carpeting upstairs. The upgraded materials we got were something I would’ve expected to be standard in a house like this. We visited the site multiple times throughout construction to look at the guts of the home and noticed pretty poor timber quality being used, lots of warped boards especially the drywall studs. I don’t think we have a single flat wall in the house. Several of the studs were not nailed in correctly and just wobbled when you touched them. Luckily the actual structure of the house came on trucks preassembled with good timber and seemingly good assembly. Needless to say seeing the super warped boards had me feeling more nervous about what else might be “to code” but still poor quality. Half a million dollars should get you more than the minimum. We like the design and layout of the home, some thought was put into roof design for solar and an existing water softening loop in the garage for our terribly hard water. Appliances included are decent except for the dishwasher, it’s 95% plastic and just looks and feels very cheap. LED lighting throughout looks good and is a natural white instead of super white/blue which is great. One weird thing, the home came wired with fiber and cat6(Ethernet) to a decent network panel, but the cables only run to the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen. I have no clue where the 4th wire goes and no clue why they didn’t wire the 2nd and 3rd bedroom with Ethernet. It’s 2024, every bedroom should have wired internet, especially with how crowded WiFi bands are becoming with the increasing number of wirelessly connected smart home tools. Schlage door hardware throughout was a nice surprise, wasn’t expecting that after seeing the material quality everywhere else. Windows and sliding doors are unfortunately vinyl-framed and poor quality. Slightest wind gust flexes the whole door and the seals are laughable for a desert home surrounded by sand, we have to vacuum the window and door tracks anytime the wind decides to blow. This is more of a nuisance but could be an issue for the weep holes that keep moisture out of your house. Lennar has been great about fixing any issues we’ve claimed through their warranty portal which has really been their only saving grace here. Granted it’s not going to improve material quality anywhere but if anything isn’t perfect or doing what it should they will make it right, love that. Sales experience was not a great experience. The premium lot charge was not explained well and varied from lot to lot, and was never mentionend in early discussions of homes. The construction team is a whole other story. They were great from the walk throughs to a couple of repairs needed after moving in. Well organized and timely.

We purchsed this home using a realtor as our eyes as we live 1500 miles away. Overall the house itself is built well with exception of the rooms being out of square! The shower for example is approximately 1 inch out of square, which is quite noticeable when using 2 inch square floor tile. The appliances are strictly builder grade and we will update these ASAP. The excessive paperwork trying to purchase this home was just that "Excessive and repetative" seems the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, many different people sending you the same information and when you have a question nobody seems to know who's in charge. I have several differant emails contradicting who to contact for the same issue, seems everone wants to pass the buck! One would think you should contact your management compaany with issues and they in turn would in turn decide if the issue should be turned over to the Master HOA, that is not the case here...you contact the management company and they tell you "That's not my job, you need to contact the Lennar!" in my mind that's why we are paying a management company, at least that's how it worked when I was the president of a HOA in Arizona, the members never had to contact the master association, everything was handled through the managent company. ... Overall home is OK. Nothing that makes them stand out above other area builders. We liked the floor plan over other builders options. Utilizing Lennar mortgage was a nightmare.

The main reason I'm going to the trouble of writing this is to state my displeasure at one aspect of the purchase, but I'll save that for now. First I'd like to state what a good value for price my home was. It seems to be quite well made with an unusually generous part of budget having been devoted to excellent ambient lighting and electrical outlets. One generally must pay a premium for that. That's where it ends. The lovely garage comes without a garage door opener. Seriously. And zero trim work with white paint everywhere. Barren as a baby's behind. Now for my complaint. The mandatory appliance package is awful, being very clearly builder's grade and black. And inexplicably, Lennar refuses to just keep their appliances and permit me to bring my own, which I did anyway, but now it's taking up valuable space in my garage and I must go to the trouble of trying to sell it myself. This seems utterly unreasonable to me and makes me snot blowing mad. ... More

In a 2400 sqft house, lennar provide only one sink in master bedroom and their original design is questionable. Plus using wood floor instead of tiles in all bathrooms. Only one Ethernet connection in the whole house which is only in living room. The room facing main road has only one small window in lennar wildflower II collection in Marigold elevation B plan. Overall plan for marigold is really good. And spacious. Bath tub size is too small to fit in secondary bathrooms. These are all small design changes that gives more satisfaction if it were included in original plan.

I feel like I was rushed into buying my second choice of the units since the release procedure was somewhat unexpected in terms of timing. Sometimes only a few hours before the Buyers response was needed to confirm. Eventually, my sales agent did give me a heads up on a unit that was available, but wasn’t my first choice, the reason I took it was your prices were going up every week. I guess The services and offers were much better in northern California compared to Southern California My friend got a house in El Dorado, California from LENNAR and her solar panels were paid. Issues with the condo as soon as I moved in. Whoever does the final walk through missed numerous obvious issues. They use very low grade contractor grade doors and counter tops. The sheetrock and paint work was very poor. Issue with bathroom vent spent the first month trying to get that fixed. The Hvac company not very knowledgeable at there job. Oscar air

I recently went through the home buying process with Lennar, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. While there were some positive aspects, there were also significant challenges that I believe potential buyers should be aware of. First, I want to commend the construction manager and the customer service team. They were outstanding and truly made the process smoother. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were greatly appreciated and helped alleviate some of the stress that comes with purchasing a home. However, my experience with Lennar’s mortgage lending process left much to be desired. The lenders seemed disorganized and struggled to properly collect my documentation. This lack of organization led to unnecessary delays and confusion, causing added frustration during an already complicated process. Additionally, I encountered a serious issue with my credit report. Lennar double-reported my mortgage, which was concerning. When I reached out to resolve this issue, I found their response to be quite nonchalant. Even after requesting a letter confirming that they had sold my mortgage and that I had a zero balance, they were unwilling to provide the necessary documentation. In summary, while my interactions with the construction team and customer service were positive, the mortgage lending experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope Lennar can address these issues for future buyers, as they could greatly improve the overall home buying experience. ... More

Felt like I was being rushed once paperwork were required of me but when I wanted answers it took longer to get them. If I had to do it all over again, I would have hired an outside inspector from the initial concrete pour until final inspection.

In buying my last new home, It was a roller coaster ride experience! I was not allowed to experience the joy of buying a new home! I started to quit the process several times but was begged by my son who lives here to continue the process. I moved from New Orleans and have bought six homes and this was my worst experience of them all! I am getting to like it now but I was angry when I moved here because of the experience I went through. With my credit and income it should not have been that way!

The overall process of buying our home was fabulous thanks to our own personal realtor they were able to provide a very transparent and prompt response to all of our concerns. However this is an issue Lennar needs to address. When working with buyers who are prepared, prompt, and most importantly represented your loan officers should provide better overall customer service. We had offers and pre approvals from other lenders who provided our numbers within 48 hours and Lennars process took nearly two weeks even with all of the requested documents. Overall I still recommended friends to purchase in the same community and they had a similar process but overall they were happy with their purchase. My experience was just fine.

Good experience, just nothing great or bad.

Home buying experience was challenging. Bait and switch was a tactic employed by sales manager at our site. In the end we purchased a house with most of options we desired. We settled much earlier than planned and made things stressful. Comments made by sales manager (not site sales rep) were unprofessional and insulting. We are happy with our home - but…

I loved my representative. The quality of the workmanship is a different question. It felt like the bare minimum was done and I was left to catch all the mistakes, and there were many. One example is that my property line extended 5 feet further than any dirt work or landscaping was performed. The side of my yard is at such an angle and rough that you can’t walk on it. Last minute, and half dead sod with a grass that does not match the rest of the yard was laid the day before closing. The side of my house is a hot mess. All concrete is cracked to pieces. No action was taken. I was told that unless it is. 1/4 inch wide, it was not their responsibility. To top it all off, I was showed the neighboring clubhouse and pool when viewing the site. When we attempted to go, we were turned away and told that we have our own pool and it is under construction. We cannot enter any pool except the one in our neighborhood, whenever it is complete. After two months of checking our mail every day, I finally went to the post office to find out what was happening because I did not receive a single piece of mail during that time. Turns out that to this day, there is no mail service in our neighborhood and we must drive to the other side of town and pick our mail up at the post office. I didn't find Lennar had any good communication with buyer

I think this builder doesn't pay enough attention to details. I've had far too many issues that indicate to me that the build was a rush job. Issues with the stove, dishwasher, cosmetic oversights, the almost dead sod/grass in my backyard, even down to the amount of studs in the wall that make it difficult to mount a TV in the living room. The design of the home is beautiful but it seems this builder has cut corners to save on costs. And these oversights have caused me to open a lot of service tickets for fixes when if they just took their time and reviewed their work, none of these issues wouldn't have arisen. ... More

As I said, it was a nightmare, completing the application process for financials and warranty way more stressful than it should’ve been. Belt rushed every step of the way to the point we could not read the contract.

Bought a home that was already being built. Got a good interest rate through Lennar Mortgage and felt like we got the house at a very reasonable price. Only complaint was that they didn’t include glass front doors like the pictures and all the other homes in the community.

Know that you are investing in a track home - they are cranked out like pancakes - all the same, no choice, therefore there is no pride in the workers who push out the product. The warranty team does the best they can to address the shortcomings of the construction team. The biggest disappointment is the lack of cleanliness of the job site even on the final walk through. Dirt, building materials, nails, garbage, food everywhere. And it continues with completion of the next house and the next. It demonstrates a rush job and no pride in one’s work or product.

Our overall experience was good. Our sales representative Jessica was awesome!

Some incentives we were told we would get and did not. Lack of communication on the front end. The CM, warranty and closing team were great. Issues after closing were addressed in a timely manner.
