Lennar was on it when they wanted you to purchase the home… then their responsiveness and flexibility decline from there. Out of all the builders we looked into they were the least flexible with allowing anything to happen before closing, which is understandable. they are very strict with allowing anything their rules leading up to closing then almost seem to want to disappear after that. Not everything was fixed at closing, as they continually promised it would be (things that were pointed out at our walk through and inspection a week prior) and it was/has been a struggle to get it all Completed by them since then. They like to take the short cut with some of the construction work (like trying to patch a hole in brand new counter tops rather than replacing, hiding holes in the wall with light fixtures). I personally think they fly through the homes too quickly during the build process and are doing too many at once. We love our home because of the location, the floor plan is perfect for us ans for the personal touches we have added since moving in. There have been a few great people we have worked with from Lennar along the way but overall it’s been more frustrating than I imagined with buying a new home ... More

Sadly, our issues that were in our walk through were not resolved yet and we have been living in the house for almost 2 months. We put so much money into buying this home it's sad we can't get stuff addressed in a timely manner.

Our salesman, Norman, kept trying to sell us something we did not want and, although, we were #1 on a house, we walked in on a conversation with another prospective where he was about to sell them the house we had been promised. We were just waiting for the house to be released to put our money down. We have had trouble getting warranty work completed. We had a private inspection done and some of those issues, which were supposed to be addressed before we moved in still have not been completed. One guy forgot the paint he needed, said he would close the ticket and reopen it when he got back so he it would look like the work had been completed. Work still has not been completed. They have closing I had two dead trees, one front one and back. I have been dealing with a gentleman that is horrible. His name is KRIS I have probably 50 text messages of him saying they are going to replace both trees, but they only replaced the one in front, two days after I moved in I had Prince and Son evaluate both trees. They said they were both dead. KRIS be ashamed of his self not respond to his messages and now I have a dead tree in my backyard. I have been living here for over a month and my first water bill was $648 so yes I have been watering the property , they landscape the house next door. They went all the way on my property to my house and filled the whole side of the house with side on top of my nice green lawn and I still have one uncovered sprinkler head. I purchased my home about 2 months ago . I am just finding outlets that don’t work the molding is cracked and the shower drain isn’t finished. I could not be present for my final inspection because I am active duty military and I was away. I have been trying to reach somebody because I was never given a key to the pool area but I am getting nothing. I am so disappointed

We moved into our house in March and overall it is great but we immediately had issues with our dishwasher. We also realized that the line from the Lennar sales rep of “we’ll always be there for you” was a bunch of bull. Immediately after signing they essentially wash their hands of any issues or responsibilities

I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

We preferred a Lennar home, but did not have a very good experience.

The first home we were purchasing there was a mistake on the paperwork and they wouldn’t do anything about it. So we lost the house and they were nice enough to transfer our money to the new home but they failed to tell us that the property was not level and only that it was a little larger and that they would not do anything about it. Then when we had the first walk through we told them about some items and they told us they would have them fixed by the time the final inspection was complete but they lied about it and told us they had them fixed and or replaced but they lied to us again. Know that we are in the house and we have some issues they said they would fix them and they made an appointment but no one showed up and they were checking on them. ... More

We purchased our current home from California. It was a fairly smooth process and going through the financial was great. We had a great sales person. However, the quality of home was not what we expected. I would say for the most part, the tile setters were the worst. I have never seen tile layed so poorly with very uneven lines in the grout.The grout was messed up; different colors everywhere. Kind of embarrassing when I have somebody come to my house. I felt like I was looking at floors that were installed by people that had done it for the first time. Everything was very dirty especially the floor. The windows were very dirty and smudged and the backyard was not cleaned up at all. ... More

Altogether the home is decent, but the workmanship was shoddy in places, with some carelessness, sloppiness, or not paying attention to details. And many issues that needed fixing that we pointed out even before closing still have not been fixed more than a month and a half later. The included appliances, cabinets, and flooring seem to be the cheapest Lennar could find. Some aspects of the design of the home were not thought out well, with shower heads and bathroom cabinets being too high, and the garage too small and driveway too narrow - I can barely fit my car in the garage. What's the point of a garage if you can't put your car into it!? The construction quality seemed poor also, with cracks in the foundation and split/broken 2x4s in the frame. Also options for cabinets and flooring that we saw in the model were no longer available at the time we wanted to buy. They cut back on a lot. ... More

Lots of sloppy job done. finished product is not up to the standard. I had to hire handyman to finish touchups needed. The home is not built with love. lousy paint job, imperfections in drywall, baseboards are not aligned with the floor properly. etc.

The Mortgage and Loan Dept were amazing and an easy process, thank you for this. After purchasing the model though. Different story, we have had many issues in the home, no one responds because it is the Model, and you buy "as is". You reach out and no response. Windows are not opening properly, Curtain rods have fallen out of the wall and dinged up the walls where they were hung and fell into. Doors dont close properly. There is a foul odor that we cannot figure out where it is coming from, many other issues that contradict the "buy a model, you get the best of the best" If this is the case... Construction Manger Scott His management style is friendly, and his feedback is always constructive. he always had time for discussion. His willingness to listen and advise constructively is far beyond expectations of any manager. Loan officers Corey / Chris where always accessible they where very analytical and can really break down complex figures into bit and pieces. They are very Helpfull.

While the purchasing part was easy smooth and fun the moving in was the most stressful. I will explain why. I moved in with a lot of cosmetic issues. The paint was poorly done inside and out. Whoever touched up the paint did not use the same color and I have spots everywhere in the house. The guest bathtub had a giant Tiger claw scratch. The cabinet draw will not close. The dryer is dented as well as the microwave. The rugs had nails sticking up I cut myself numerous times. The painters left tape on lights and garage. A chunk of slab is broken off by the sliding doors. The weatherstrips are ripped on the garage door and front door. One of the blinds was put up Crooked. A piece of granite is chipped. I worked hard for the money to purchase this house I show not be going through all these issues. ... More

After a month, I am still cleaning Grout and painting on the tile.

However once you’ve paid for your home, the Lennar team severely lacks in finishing anything that needs to be corrected and fixed. You get stuck on a waitlist behind other already established homes. These were items that should have been fixed BEFORE I ever moved in. 2 months later I’m still waiting for corrections.

The carpet was almost like indoor/outdoor carpeting with no upgrade options, so we tore out and spent $10K at Home Depot for nice carpet. Dealing with landscaping issues as are yet unresolved. Exterior painting was very poor on the trim work. The sales process with Michelle was fantastic and she helped us immensely and we are very grateful to her for that! Thanks Michelle!!!!

The craftsmanship and workmanship of value compared to the price I paid is very disappointing

My backyard has been flooded the entire time we've live here. The water does not drain properly and the yard is totally unusable due to the constant standing water. Worried about our foundation. No one has even come out to look at it yet.

Trim, paint and other final details of the “completed” home showed almost zero quality control. Oversprayed paint, poor paint coverage, dented, dinged and warped door jambs and trim.

Had a lot of issues from the morning we were closing until 3 months after we closed. The crew that did the grass left a bunch of wet concrete in the yard after rolling the sod down. They came and rolled after we closed. Now it’s either big chunks of concrete in our front and backyard or dig it up and have to fill with soil and new sod ourselves. Our breaker box in the garage was wired wrong and we couldn’t even use our dryer until an electrician finally made it out. The corners of drywall is already cracking. Door frames are coming undone. The floor molding is coming apart. Dealing with a lot of stuff that we shouldn’t have to deal with 3 months into a brand new home. ... More

Aaron has been amazing through the entire process of home buying & continues to be now that we are homeowners. He’s super responsive, knowledgeable, & Kind.

Sales experience good. But Warranty issues not resolved and promises not kept.

The design of the home is great. Unfortunately the trade partners they select to build the house is poor. The subs slap things together and then leave it up to the finish crew to REALLY finish the house. To make matters worse, their finish crew is short- staffed and it takes FOREVER to get things complete.
