Our experience with getting approved for a Lennar mortgage was very painful and stressful. Some people were very helpful; others were very difficult to deal with, especially with the documents we had to provide. The Lennar descriptions and sources for these were very misleading and unhelpful. Too much time pressure was put on us.

Loan officer Jason was amazing and we’re Extremely happy with his service. Overall, the neighborhood is great however, several items on the house were not completed correctly. Also, very concerned about some of the other items I have brought up…..I have been unable to get a phone call back from Lennar about my concerns. However I would definitely recommend buying from Lennar to my friends and family

I used to think Lennar was the best builder ever! Why? Because they used to install ceiling speakers, cat5 jacks in every room, and not only they Not have that, they have no phone jacks, they decided not to run conduit from the garage to smart box, which the modem is in the garage, and if you want home phone, you need to put it in the garage. Since I don’t have an any good words about the loan officer(s) that were assigned to me. I will say the managers and underwriting team ans well ans the crew who did walk the through and inspection ,especially the onsite rep who was phenomenal. They made this experience so much better than after the shamockery with loan officers and this played a part in the score and success of a close.

First things first - love my home. It meets all my needs and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Lennar delivered what they promised, on time. The reason I took off couple of stars is because of response delays during the home buying process. The best thing I can say about it is that it is a nice looking house. I assume that because the houses are built quickly it takes a lot to keep up on quality control, but I just feel that you get what you pay for. It really feels like a nice starter home but not what I was hoping for in terms of quality. I dealt with the new home consultant directly to purchase the home at Lennar wellness way. However realized that having a realtor would have made much more sense closer to the closing. The final inspection was not done correctly and there were many items left out that needed fixing. For example, one of the cabinet doors was not even painted. The support services offered by Lennar through myLennar were not available to me and should not have been offered. We do like the unit and have been busy making it our own. However, as we settle in, I find the workmanship less than expected for a $260K home. Materials are not highest quality (patio door is too heavy to open and does not lock), and painting was obviously rushed. Concrete patio is small and interior of garage could easily have been painted before moving in. These simple and relatively inexpensive "touches" would really elevate your finished product.

Too much paper work and nonstop emails and letters coming from too many people and agencies that have caused me to miss deadlines and important issues. We had a good feeling when we saw the listing for the new Fieldview community. We went right over and met Gregg. He was so helpful and understanding with what we were looking for. The experience was not too bad but there were things we wish were clearer at the time we decided to sign in to buy the townhouse. Initially, the post we saw on Zillow said 100 HOA which we thought it was great. But after signing in we learned that it was going to be 220 HOA plus $99 CDD which was not in the post we saw. Having a new home built can be a frustrating and at times downright an emotional journey. In the past we have bought new from another large national builder. As a direct comparison I feel overall Lennar is a better value and gives you a bit more quality components. Things like Low E Glass, Tile Back Splash, Screened Lanai where other builders did not. Our sales person Kacey was amazing. She communicated with me and was just short of being our loan officer as well because I could not get any communication during the loan process. Communication with our loan officer was little to none. He would not answer or return phone calls and the only emails he would respond to were the ones our sales person confronted him on. The only issues I had with the complete experience was with the mortgage people and their under writers. The mortgage staff were not that responsive and could have cost me a lot extra money by not paying attention to the market and how the interest rate was going up. I would hope that their job was to help people get the best rate and to watch what was happening and advise the buyer to lock in sooner then they did. The sales team and all the construction managers who work on the site have been excellent and are a pleasure to work with.

Overall we are very pleased with our new home. COVID-related issues caused delays and unexpected changes but I don’t fault Lennar for those. The home is well built. External issues should have been avoided. Our home is on a cul de sac and was positioned such that the driveway has to be curved. The issue is complicated because utilities and a street light are located adjacent to the driveway. Lennar is working with the county to improve access, but this should have been addressed long before closing. The same issue affects other nearby homes on our street and the next street with a cul de sac.
