Home buying experience was mostly okay, but Lennar Mortgage agents were extremely incompetent, and our closing was delayed due to multiple clerical issues with Lennar Mortgage who kept sending paperwork with the wrong amounts owed to us. Also, sales agents are arrogant and rude until you you're in contract, so dealing with anyone at Lennar felt like a chore every-time.

First, the pros: 1. We love our house. The floor plan and lot size are perfect for our family. The interior color palette options are all very tasteful and cohesive. 2. We were primarily in contact with Marc and Ryan throughout the home-buying process. We really enjoyed working with them! They are both incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Cons: 1. After we selected our homesite but before we paid our deposit, Lennar opened it back up for bid. I don't think anybody involved had any ill intent but I also don't think they care much. The new home orientation was a great experience. My best advice is do not close until every imperfection is handled. Also it was a disappointing amount of cigarettes left on my property.

Elson was awesome from start to finish. Andrea and Andre needs customer service training. Cheyenne was great. Overall the experience was decent. The process was smooth although I was a nervous wreck.

Lennar’s selling process was well organized and pretty painless. Their online portal is great. While our house was delayed by 6 months that’s not entirely their fault. Charging US for 5 days of delay while we completed our home appraisal process after waiting 6 months for Lennar seems a bit unfair, regardless of the clause on the contract. Real disappointment was the quality of workmanship in paint, cabinets…pretty low-end.

Buying from Lennar is overall a good experience. But you have to be ready for a lot of warranty claimed after closing. Everyone from the sales department and warranty department is super friendly, responsive, and helpful. We had Omar as our sales rep, and he is always there helping us explaining the process of closing and tried his best to answer our concerns. Richard and John are our Wareanty manager, they are both very polite and friendly! The first walk through orientation and walk through before closing was not very good experience. This was our third home, second new construction, and have moved into five other houses due to moving (US Navy) duty stations. I was in Alabama waiting for the house to be completed and was told to come down for a first home orientation which showed me the house was not ready, garage floor was not painted, no shower glass, dirty house, rusty fixtures, paint on the floors, crappy texture application. The closing took so long that we rushed to move and once we were in the house we started to notice things we should not never have accepted. The walls paint has cracks almost in every room. And there is a kitchen cabinet damage. We felt like our need to move was so evident that they were not listening to our complaints. Also we were not told the internet cables were not in place. It is very important for people to know ahead of time to plan things out. We work from home and it was very inconvenient for the first weeks to find out what needed to be done temporarily.

Lennar is prompt with service and very responsive. However, we were not offered some of the items we requested in the house . Our choices of some items or materials were not offered. This gives us some apathy about the house !

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed with our experience so far with Lennar as we had fairly low expectations given the state of builders, build quality, and labor issues. I will express that for all the "issues" that have cropped up throughout the process, Lennar has been prompt to address them in a suitable time frame. Regardless, it still astounds me that there isn't more attention to detail during the build process so they didn't have to spend so much time, $$ and resources fixing things that could have prevented in the first place.

The home has really some really good features, and some bad ones. The finishing isn't as good as it could be, and a lot of areas show that, especially the flooring. The drip irrigation installed was already broken the second day we moved in, and then a pipe burst a couple of weeks later. Have been in the home for about a month now, and have already submitted tickets. The best part is the responsiveness to the tickets. Diana and Moe have been a huge help.

This is my second house with lennar. At the time of purchase agreement there is a promotion of 2.5 % off when you buy 2nd home with lennar but sales consultant refused the offer because I am using realtor. That’s totally unfair

Closing was a nightmare. The first closing appointment was cancelled without notification. I was at the second appointment from 12:00 to 8:15 PM. All I heard that day was "we're waiting on paperwork. Then the house keys were not available and they weren't sure where they were so I was unable to go to the house that day as planned. I had to go to the model home the next day to get the keys.

On two separate occasions we were told to expect full wood flooring and NOT carpeting which was one of the main reasons for our purchase !!! Secondly we also expected to have a garage door opener and gutters! Carpeting being the main issue as this what we were sold on and promised! We have since purchased a garage door on our own and are seeking vendor for the wood flooring as well as installer to “complete “ our home !!!

Lennar has good customer service and communication. The subcontractors however are poor quality and the workmanship throughout the house is poor. We are having to put in too many warranty requests already for a brand new house because so many things are wrong and poorly done.

This is our second Lennar home and we love the floorplan. Their homes are good values, but this one had many more quality issues than our first. Also they used to brag about how technologically advanced their homes were, but perhaps due to covid and staffing shortages, the technology in this home was essentially a DIY exercise. Lennar uses limited flexibility in options/changes approach to hold schedules tightly. That's good thing as you know it up front. On the downside, our house required significant effort to make it livable due to Lennar cost cutting : no towel racks, inadequate closet hardware, no light fixtures, etc. We had several minor quality issues, all of which were quickly fixed with the help of the Lennar customer support rep. And the "smart" home features are really nice!
