From sales to building supervisors to warranty people these are great people. They are very concerned that things go right and that we are taken care of. The issue appears to be inexperienced, underqualified workers who are rushing through jobs. The quality of the workmanship and attention to details is poor. Thankfully, the staff is working to see that all issues are addressed to our satisfaction.

After the change of construction management the communication improved greatly. The new Don is very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

It seems as if the builders were just trying to hurry and get the home done. There are alot of minor things that are messed up that shouldn’t be.

Overall good experience but would expect some better workmanship

Communication between the different departments during the home buying process is an area of growth. The overall craftmanship quality varies as there are so many different people and companies working together with poor coordination between them. I believe this interferes with getting a higher quality and thoroughly completed end product. With this said, I do have to say that I have moved in and do really enjoy the home. Although there are areas of opportunity I do not regret purchasing from Lennar. The home itself was a positive and exciting experience. The staff at the homesite were sweet and helpful. However, supporting Lennar lending makes sense as it is in the name. The worst part is it seems as if the loan officers and their manager staff suck that positive experience out from you. From hiding fees to show a lower interest rate when I specifically state I do not want to pay any points, to being charged extra anyway as it was locked in. Next requesting to switch loan officers due to this huge discrepancy and unfortunately becoming just another loan to close and they make their cushioned commission truly made the experience the worst I have ever had. ... Once I closed, things didn't get resolved as timely as I felt they should have. Still waiting for unresolved issues.

The houses were sloppily put together to meet a deadline. It shouldn’t be the owners job to make sure that the construction services and trades did their job right. There should be more quality control and checking of peoples work. Finding issues every day the longer we live here

I think overall the workmanship is good quality and the walls are not so thin where you can hear everything which is great; however the most disappointing is the one car garage entry; I can barely get my car out; I have to be careful to hit the walls every time I leave and enter and it isn’t even a big vehicle. The builder should have considered and tested the garage entry and common sense would tell you to expand it a little. Also, the appliances such as the dishwasher and the oven are not the best to use, I would think we are in a new century and they would at least install better dishwashers, not the same ones from the 1990’s, also, the standard oven installed has a broiler at the very bottom of the oven separately…it’s so low it is like broiling things on the floor, that is horrible and such a hassle. ... Quality of the house is good but the quality of the flooring, appliances. cabinetry and granite where below average. I knew this when I bought. My choice was to invest in replacing flooring and appliances and add hardware to cabinets when I moved in. Lennar should have gave the same quality and attention that is given to the single family homes

Friendly but a lot of issues with the home

All finishing are basic, and kitchen cabinets are to basic.

With everyone working remote and no one being forced to be in an office or available to work, there is a lack of availability or response. Things are not taken care of as quickly as they used to be or, sometimes, you can't even get a hold of someone to get an answer or solution. That goes for both the buying process and the support for issues after closing. Employees have become more focused on their personal issues rather than their work and availability during working hours.

The “Celebration” appointment should be called a “walkthrough” to discuss status of home prior to closing and what needs to be addressed prior to that time. The home had many issues. Construction materials still on the premises while a “celebration banner” was being put up! Very disappointed in the meeting. This is our 6th new construction home. Past builders had the home spotless by the time the walkthrough occurred. This will be our first and last Lennar home. Thankyou.

They do a decent job

The sales staff at McCord Pointe are knowledgeable and helpful.

Move in was delayed due to not passing inspection for foundation. Was delayed 2 months and due to scrambling to move the date back up after we were told it would be a 3 months delay we was forced to pay a per diem fee while we waited for the appraisal, since they moved the move in date up on us last minute

We love our new home. It is built well and so far have only had drainage issues due to the new sod. Hopefully this gets better. We love our neighborhood and love the design of the home. Lending was quite easy with Lennar. The only problems we had was after we put in our application for purchase the communication almost stopped and processes were not explained to us at all. The lending was all done on line and it was hard to get somebody to call and explain next steps. We were just kind of standing around wondering if we were approved, should we pack, what do we do. We didn't get final approval until a week before closing. So we were hesitant to schedule movers and all the preparations of leaving our old home. It became very frustrating. It felt like the builder gave us great service at the beginning then faded away. We did get a nice house and are happy. I hate to complain and rarely give bad reviews. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but just pick up the phone and see how your customers are doing. That's all that is needed. ... More

You will need lots of patience. They eventually to address the needs but not everything will be complete on closing and if you don't close when they set the date, you will be charged $300 fee for everyday not closing. You have to stay on top of all issues with them, however the staff is very nice and due to the supply issues in this economy it can be a nightmare.

The house is fine, but the process could be better

The time line for construction was laid out after our purchase. Lennar completed our home in the time they said they would. Some minor issues arose after the purchase of our home, but Lennar responded immediately to our requests.

This was good working with super and sales rep they were helpful and answer all our questions and concerns.
