This house presented a means to an end. We got a very discounted house with poor finishes. Because the price was low, we were able to tear out many low-quality aspects of the house and replace them with higher-grade materials.

Love the space that the house provides and location was what we were looking for in a home. Things I would like to suggest: 1. Allow buyer 1 or 2 modification during the building process. example - make patio larger if space is available to build it. 2. Seal the Grout on the tile through the house so homeowners don't have to do it in a new home. Its Takes the homeowner 2-3 days to do it in a house of this size (3082 sq ft) when you would just like to enjoy your new home. Complaint: 1. Interior Paint and no medicine cabinets

No medicine cabinets in each bathroom is very inconvenient and will just need to be added, not good. Interior paint appears watered down or just very cheap. So thin any touch leaves a mark

Overall House Quality is Quite Good but the Driveway is Completely Unacceptable

My review is still incomplete at this time. The quality of the driveway is completely unacceptable and is the reason for my low rating on quality of workmanship. The driveway was poured at 26 degrees on November 13th and I believe that it froze before concrete had cured to achieve a necessary strength. Overall we had a mild fall and there numerous days the concrete could have been poured at a much warmer temperature. It has numerous cracks, chips, pock marks, smears and is very off colored. I purchased a new construction D. R. Horton property in June 2018. I decided to upgrade to a larger home and purchased a Lennar home in November 2019. The longer I live in the Lennar home I realized D. R. Horton is a better quality builder. The Lennar quality is just not there. The drywall is so thin you can't hang a lightweight picture without reinforcement. The wood flooring has several chips in places my family and I could not have damaged it. Minor Adjustments to "Spec" Home

Overall, very pleased with the total purchasing, building, and move-in support processes. We were a little disappointed in the inability to make "minor" changes to the building plan months prior to construction actually starting. Not real pleased with the way the property was final graded. The degree of slope and the drainage between the houses causes standing water/mud. Also, much of the foundation concrete slab is exposed with the slope starting immediately next to the house.

Lennar is always quick to respond to an issue, how ever I have had to contact you for the some of the same issues ore than once because it isn't getting done properly the first time. I expected top notch done right the first time kind of work from Lennar.

Non standard pricing on townhome designs and no quality of workmanship

There is no standard pricing on townhomes here as the prices are costlier for first time buyers versus investment home. Costlier prices for normal home than the upgraded homes. So, there is no standard trusted builder pricing as the prices going along the tide. Faster completion of homes, but no proper nailing & who knows what's gone inside the drywall !

We have built two other houses in the past and I will have to say that Lennar has had more issues we have needed repaired then any other home we think perhaps there needs to be better people doing the work to make sure these issues don’t arise or perhaps longer building time. We did also notice that a few houses that were built after us had upgraded stove and ovens which we felt we should of had as well. We do love the layout of our home and our community as well. Just wish some things were more consistent.

We love our home, but when you’re promised things and are told you’re under warranty you expect things that weren’t fixed to get done, but they don’t get back to you. That’s not good customer service.

I wish we had our own swimming pool, fitness center and clubhouse considering the price we spent on our home. Other than that, we love the layout, however, it would have been nice to have a fireplace and linen closet.

The salesperson, Stephanie Miller that we bought our home through did not make us aware of the upgrades that can be made during the purchase process. She also did not get back to us when we had questions. Chris and Dave have been exceptional in coordinating the techs to come and fix the issues in our home.

Lennar - The landscaping is not great.

The landscaping is not great. Our tree fell over twice and had to be replanted. Part of our property line has washed away because they didn’t put erosion barrier up and so a fifteen foot section of our sod has been washed under causing big holes in the back yard. They supposedly fixed it twice but it’s still there.

Take the time to check EVERYTHING on your walk-thru.... when an issue is discovered later (which is inevitable) it is difficult to get the problem addressed and fixed

Lennar service and all is great. In my opinion the upgrades should be different. Why no money back when not using tiles or carpet. Why not more freedom for upgrades for kitchen. Material use is cheap. Why not full flooring and then place kitchen island. Etc etc. should be a possibility to get discounted on kitchen and pick own kitchen and store. All is made simple for builder. But maybe I am spoiled with how things get done in the Netherlands.
