House was a mess when we moved in. Walls needed repainting and when they repainted the workers got paint on carpet, tile, everything and it is not cleaned up yet. Our A/C has gone out 3 times and is still not fixed. No one from Lennar follows up when work order is put in. Finally, the HOA is charging us a late fee because Lennars title company sent them a faded check that HOA could not cash and cannot get a hold of the title company to cut a new check. I would not recommend to anyone to deal with Lennar.

I absolutely love my home. I would recommend Lennar. The whole experience with seamless. Lennar is very attentive to my needs.

I am not happy with the LENNAR. We had hard time with this purchase with Lennar. Specially the loan officer. He provided the incorrect information in disclosure. And he blamed us not reviewing the document. And later for another disclosure he did mistake on estimated closing cost and we I had to dig into email to prove he did mistake as the disclosure does not matching with what he said to us over the email. I am very upset with the response I have received from Lennar.

Let me preface this with this was our first homebuying experience. From the beginning, this process was a mess. We, along with our realtor, did a tour of the model home and from the start we loved what we saw given it was the model home with all the bells and whistles. We signed on our house around the middle of July with a completion date of late Nov. In the days leading up to our close date, we decided we would go with Lennar as the lender and builder - mostly because of their lender credits (which we found later to be honestly a complete joke and pretty much a net 0 let-down somehow with the credits being over 1% of the home value). Our leasing agent was altogether unhelpful and took a vacation without giving us a different number to reach their office while the interest rates went up an entire point over 2 days. Fast forward to closing - we arrive at our “new” home expecting to be in amazement over how good everything looks a week following our blue tape walkthrough (which was a disaster)… boy were we wrong. Blue tape items were basically untouched, cleaning crews hadn’t cleaned anything, holes in the roof, dents in the dishwasher, unpainted sections of exterior columns, mortar thrown all over the sidewalk and driveway and side of the house, no hot water, crack in guest bathtub… need I go on? Not to mention all this was on our closing day and we had nowhere else to stay for the night since we were coming in from out of town. Long story short, we miraculously ended up closing that day with a laundry list of open items the contractors were going to come back and “fix” since we really had no choice. About 3 weeks later, I guess Lennar’s quality people punched the “good enough” ticket, shrugged their shoulders and left us in the dust to fill out countless maintenance requests through their terrible online system to come fix the unfinished work. So, here we are 2 months in and our light fixtures are starting to flicker in almost EVERY room, exterior paint is deteriorating, our entire front yard is destroyed and has been for about 3 weeks now while contractors have been “hard at work” putting in a sewage cap which I could have replaced in a few hours. All in all, grateful to be moved in with the craziness behind us, but disappointed as a whole in regards to the quality and care put in to building these houses and customer support promising the world and severely underdelivering. The home purchase experience with Lennar was quite effortless and stress-free. It was evident to us that you have competent professionals working hard at every angle to make sure things go smoothly. From pre-qualification, to closing and then afterward, it was actually...pleasant. Definitely, the builder to get our repeat business.

GenerAlly good materials but sloppy installs for plumbing, lawns and bushes.

Lennar couldn’t get our house done by closing on Dec.28 so they pushed it to Jan16. Home is still not finished! We settled for a Lennar home in a different area of town. The experience has been horrible. We can’t even get the warranty people out to patch up the things that were pointed out on our walkthrough before closing. I don’t recommend buying.

Need more attention paid to quality of workmanship.

Our experience in buying our new home went south!! Starting with financing department, I thought putting 20% down would allow us to get a conventional loan, with, well it should, but our financial representative didn’t say anything about our loan, we were about to close and he comes up with leaving tax’s and insurance in the payment, which brought up our payment!!! We insisted that with 20% down we would pay our own taxes and insurance!!! Oh my goodness !!!!! I thought I said a bad word!!!! So I told him to rewrite our paperwork without insurance and taxes!!! What a difference!!!! This took about 2 days to rewrite, which we thought it would take about 1 hour especially using a computer!!! And plugging in different numbers for his clients. Finally done!!! His attitude changed with me, no longer friendly, done right not nice!!! He wouldn’t even call me by my name!!!! Unfortunate experience with Lennar Mortgage Second: Our brand new home was infested with RATS due to leaving the molding or foundation outside around the house had 5 holes that were never completed!!! The vent above the air conditioner never had a screen placed so rats had yet another entry into our brand new home!!! Behind the stove the dry wall was never finished!!!! We could see the pipes and gas line exposed so once again another entry for Rats to get in which they did!!! Crawling all over our stove!!! Leaving droppings all over our kitchen, under the sink!!!! How do you cook or eat in this house with infestation of Rats, We found our hallway entrance arch was crocked!!! The dishwasher baseboard was never placed, the base board and screws were left there on the floor as if they forgot to screw it in!!!! How did the McKinney department of buildings sign off to this house!!!’ We are still in the process of meeting with them I’m 70 years old and my husband 80, if those rats bite us we may never get to enjoy our home, we can’t move as quickly as we did 10! years ago, ... Beautiful well built home but the finishing touches are not up to par. Excellent price. Love the neighborhood.

The house was supposed to be ready in September or early October but wasn’t finished until late December. The home is well made but the granite had a huge stain/black mark and we needed to get it replaced on our own, they said it was natural, even tho everyone that saw it said it was ugly.Also, I was told they would “make it happen” to get us a refrigerator and when it came time the agent said no. In the beginning I said we did not want to close in December as this was to be a rental and we wanted to rent it out in October. Our money was tired up for three extra months longer then we were told then leaving us in a different rental market and during the holidays. The disorganized nature of your closing process and miscommunication was unparalleled. Never had a more frustrating experience in my life. Unresponsive. Rude. Disorganized. Lack of knowledge etc. I could not get keys but finally a woman who was a manager took time 7am on a Sunday morning to let me in. She was really helpful, annd fantastic , and an exception the the rule.

Bought home at Lennar Huntersville NC, construction quality is below average, materials used cheapest.. Common Mail box is in front of house , but they assigned 2 blocks away so this is the sample example of them If you want to waste your.Money then buy many homes with Lennar

We bought a great retirement house!

The lennar staff is great . As for the quality of work done on house , poor quality on finishing and concrete . Most trim has big nail holes, broken pieces or poor patch work and even worse paint , if painted at all along the bottom trim, driveway has multiple cracks, chunks broken out, pitting , and exposed rock where finish wasn’t completed . This is a brand new construction build , things that should have been replaced were just attempted patch jobs . As for the Lvp floors, glue seeps through multiple seems throughout house, several planks are lifting and just left that way . Kitchen flooring deeply gouged and scratched. Between range and island . Final review will be based on if and when these issues are addressed and on what timeline they are fixed . Communication was not clear during the process. Had to chase down contacts. Continuous pushbacks with no explanation of why. Overall, I would not buy another home from the builder based on that part alone. I was so glad to be done with all reps in every process during the process. Nice home but stressful process to close. Not worth it

Beautiful location. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the product. Windows don't close properly, closet doors are not hung properly, Thermostat not functioning properly and dryer duct work not properly secured causing a leak. Lennar has responded and we are awaiting repairs.

Sales are very good. But 【Lennar Mortgage 】is very unprofessional！You should go to Google Maps and read the reviews, people are not happy with 【lennar Mortgage】！My salesman, Mr. Kristian Chanin, is a young, very polite, energetic, patient, and very professional . We are very happy to have successfully bought our house with him ，I recommend him 100% 。 If you need to buy a new home in this neighborhood, it is best to talk to Mr. Kristian Chanin, you will get what you want, the process will be easy and stress-free, whatever problems you have he will be there to help you with all your problems ! Like all quickly built homes... lots of little things need to be fixed/replace already. Nothing serious---all minor issues.

Employees did the best they could under completion pressure at year end. Magnified by hurricane and materials shortages. Recommend a customer service department independent of other departments for quality control of closing issues. I do not see any evidence of a local customer service department. Again, it's not the employees, its the large number of closings without a customer service department to handle preparation for a successful walkthrough at closing. Cost is minimal for change as other departments could focus on their priorities. Amazing how much goes into making such an great community just to allow low final customer service impressions at the end. ... More

Horrible quality. I regret everything. They told us SO MANY LIES. I feel like a lawsuit is in our near future.

House quality fell short. Building timeline was continually pushed back because of labor shortages. Over priced home with no input from consumer. Lennar took advantage of inventory shortage and watered down its brand for the sake of a dollar. I real shame.

Overall, good experience in buying my first house in California with the help of the sales from Lennar.
