Has been difficult to get the dying grass in my yard replaced due to springer system being inoperable for a good amount of time.

Overall happy with the home. Unfortunately the closing was delayed a few times, no fault of our own.

This is my second Lennar home. I purchased this home because of the craftsmanship in my first Lennar home. Unfortunately Lennar did cut corners in the craftsmanship in my new home which was twice the price as my first Lennar home.

The quality of materials used to build the home is top notch. Also the built-in technology is great, such as solar panels, water leak detection, sprinkler system, fire alarm, ring alarm, etc. Customer Care has been quite responsive to resolving issues.

During the build process, Lennar did a great job of communicating the process via a weekly email. Unfortunately, beyond anyone control, the process took way too long. The impact of Covid-19 on the build was huge. Materials like windows seem to take forever to arrive. Matt and Tina were very good and providing updates. I have built many homes in the past. The overall workmanship on this home is average. There have been many minor issues that we found after we moved it. Lennar has been responsive in making the changes, but I feel like Lennar should have caught many of these in the process of QC'ing the work from their partners. Lennar was upfront regarding request to changes in the home. Lennar does not modify the home from the specification of the model. Simple request to add additional outlets were not agreed too, which meant having an electrician come in after we moved in to add outlets. This would have been much easier before the drywall and painting were done. Overall, we are happy with the home. Our sales rep TK was awesome and really made it a smooth process. They have been responsive with messages pertaining to issues we have brought up but there are things that still remain that were supposed to be fixed or cleaned that have not been. I will say that the quality of the finish work was not very good. Also the paint they use is terrible quality.

The house was very dirty on move in. Floors, inside and outside of all cabinets and carpets were very dirty. Caulking at baseboards was very sloppy throughout house. It looks terrible. Management of contractors was poor which led to long delays due to failed inspections of power and gas connections into house. I have had many new homes. This was the worst exoerience on a home build

The floor plans are amazing. The space inside the home is incredible. I love it.

My overall experience was good. I do not want to fault them for the craft folks they hire and workmanship that they do. There were items along the way that concerned me, but overall most were taken care of. I have yet to receive my exterior house colors for touch up . I have emailed my salesperson and he keeps sending me the same document of the items included in the house, BUT I want to know the NAMES of the colors used for the exterior. Anyway, for the price at the time it was a good value.

Our best experience came with the team who met us at the home; the Construction Manager “C” who should in my opinion play a much bigger part with Lennar. The young man who did the walk through was fantastic and made us feel comfortable. Anna was very warm in person and helpful. We have NO love for your Loan Department at all. The lie “$11,000 towards your closing cost” shouldn’t be used anymore. Though there was a bright spot with “J” the rest of everyone else was unprofessional and extremely pushy. I have been very vocal in discouraging anyone from financing with Lennar. There also is a person who needs remedial sales and customer service training in your “Home Protection Mortgage Insurance”. He was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. We do love the home, however there things that could be done to improve it. Our overall experience and totality of it all is a C plus. ... More

Quality of materials is not great compare with my first home with Lennar. I am not happy with value of the price paid.

Please ensure that Lenore stands by the date that they give you for closing because when they change the date it totally disrupts your life and then you have to spend additional monies that were not initially budgeted for

Attempting to obtain a mortgage for the property was torture. I finally paid cash just to get it over and done with.

The house was incomplete at the time of closing. A very long list of items to be fixed on closing day. It took weeks, if not months to get them all fixed. Lennar sales did not disclose all information about the home lot and Vista community information. A pedestrian Traffic sign was installed at the driveway entrance, Additionally, we have come to find out Vista Lake Owners residing in the Wild Blue community, will not be able to use Wild Blue entrances. This was a huge disappointment. The Community clubhouse was promised completion 6 months ago, now group d had not yet been broken and we are told another year. ... More

The finished quality of workmanship sucks. They should do a walk through themselves before they invite the homeowner in and fix everything they find wrong. But, they wait until the homeowner comes in, and in a couple of hours expects the homeowner to find all the problems. The finish carpentry is poor, the countertops were not cut straight or square, very cheap flat paint on the walls that gets marked up just by leaning a cardboard box to it. They wait to paint the doors after all the hardware is attached, thus more poor workmanship. Walls are not straight vertically, I have one wall off 3/4" in just the width of a 32" door. They do a poor job cleaning up for the final customer inspection, dust and dirt in corners, window sills, etc. Drywall not flush, even or square. This is a poor excuse of a quality new home. But, I will say this, they try to make it right after the fact, but it should not get to that point. ... More

I was told I would get two walkthroughs before closing, I only got one so I didn’t see that the fence gate was on the wrong side of the house, no one told me that they only put grass down 20 feet from the back of your house so I have a good 10 feet of mud when it rains, wasn’t aware fence would not encompass the back door area. Read everything and ask the questions that you may think are stupid

The home consultant I worked with was phenomenal. She was very attentive to my concerns but the lenders that are used were not good at all. Very unorganized and I feel that they lacked experience.

Lennar has professional and courteous to deal with. Martha and Duke have been great to work with. Our Lennar agent, Dawn was great in answering all our questions in a timely manner. However, after accepting the house a few things have been at or below average. On closing day, we were left to fend for ourselves, did not know where to get our mail key, garage remotes did not work, no explanation on the Schlage keyless lock system, how to obtain the RFID chip for the gate entry, etc. A helpful explanation sheet would have been very helpful. I even wrote something up myself and submitted it with no response. We still cannot get our side-walk repaired when it was damaged before we moved-in. They just point the finger to the city. Most of all we were shocked to not receive anything from Lennar to include champagne or anything. They call closing day a celebration...but do nothing for you and was a nightmare of a day. The salesman that we had was horrible. It was nearly impossible too get in touch with him. It's too much too write but the people that we dealt with at the end were wonderful.

Overall, Lennar was very responsive

Quality of the Lennar home is amazing. The sales department is not entirely truthful. We were limited to three dock options. After moving in, we noticed a few non-option docks that we would have preferred to have. Our grounds maintenance is included with our HOA, We have had to trim our berm and hire a pest control company to treat our lawn and berm for fire ants and lawn eating bugs. Other issues include a four month construction delay and getting warranted items repaired in a reasonable time. Our pool skimmer was blocked with construction cement for a month before it was correctly cleared of the blockage. The pool timer panel was defective on install. The electrical panel was not replaced for three months. A defective drawer front took one month to be replaced. The homes are built well, but the maintenance is subpar. Before closing we went through the house with Wyatt. We had identified numerous items in need of repair. Upon moving in we noticed the blue tape marks were gone, but the repair was not completed. Most noticeable was the wall in the garage in need of a coat of paint. We are still waiting on a portion of the lanai cage to be tightened to prevent more turtles, frogs, snakes, bugs and geckos from entering caged area. Most of these issues could have been prevented if the inspector responsible for the final home Inspection of the property had thoroughly inspected the property and had paid more attention to detail. ... I have had a lot of problems with this new house and feel i was overcharged compared to my neighbors. The finish work is not good, and appliances are very cheap.

Great home for the money!

This is our second Lennar home and this experience was a nightmare. The salesman we had was the worst and I'm a Realtor and know what service is supposed to be. I love the community and the homes are lovely, but ours was not done and they did NOT have CO when we arrived. Lennar choose the closing date and we flew in to find a MESS. ow The warranty program works but our salesperson should be in the background, not working with the public. It's not just me that thinks that but our neighbors who also worked with him. KRISTAN is AWESOME though.....and the other guy in the office is great. I got tired of hearing "its not my job" or "Its my day off" OR "I don't know, I seldom get down that end of the road". We just wanted to know if the dock was in, if the kitchen was completed, were we closing on time........total unrepsonsive answers. Wyatt our construction manager was very good (he took over the mess from the guy that was fired). We like Wyatt a lot and he answered our questions and got the repairs done. MEL is AWESOME.....not our guy but very helpful. When I couldn't get an answer from our salesperson Phil, I would get the answer from Mel. We met him accidentally on site when we were there to view homes and I was able to contact him. THANK GOD! My husband had a heart attack the day after closing due to stress of the entire situation.
