Best Walk Through experience with Brian. The minor fixes are done smoothly and further fixes are through QR codes and video inspection and all done without any issues. I think Lennar is putting technology in a good use.

I don’t even think there’s enough space here for me to tell you guys how horrible the experience was buying a Lennar home from the mortgage people that I am ashamed have access to my Social Security number to the workmanship that I am now living in a home that Hass to be redone. There was paint on the carpet. Things were not done complete walls were crooked. This house is been a nightmare And two months and I’m still waiting to have things done and planned to be fixed because I’m last on the list because I’ve already signed the closing documents.

The sales representatives were amazing and were able to answer most if not all questions we had. They really are a good resource to have. Construction on the other hand needs a huge lift in the attention to detail and pride in their work. Although not the construction mangers fault, and he helped out as much as he could, it was evident that the laborers were just there to go through the motion and could care less about the quality in their work because it wouldn't be their problem once they left, to list a few things: 1. We found garbage in our home, and we just closed on it 2. Painter tape on the floor, which must've been missed by cleaners 3. Blatantly missed blue tape items, some of which will never be fixed until I decide I'm sick of looking at it 4. Broken Garage door (took 2 weeks post close to have this fixed) 5. Broken doorbell (took 3 weeks post close to have this fixed) 6. Garbage disposal had a nail in it, which broke it 7. Hardware installed with lack of care (things are not level, and its very noticeable) 8. Blemishes on front and mud room garage door because they installed our permeant doors instead of using construction doors during the build. 9. evident that the cleaners never showed up... construction dust on counters and in sinks, no vacuum marks on carpet areas There's more, but what's the point? Lennar was very helpful towards the closing of the house. they were flexible in supporting us in closing the house. The agents did a great job in understanding our situation and helping us during the closing process.

Lack of communication. Short on customer service.

We purchased a house from Lennar that was under construction with the promise that it would be completed in 2 months. We moved in 6 months later, after pushing hard at the end to complete the construction. We had two walk throughs and identified over 600 items that needed to be corrected. Nearly two months after moving into the house, there are dozens of items yet to be completed. The quality of materials in the house seem to be good, but the small things that we notice every day are what drove an unfavorable experience. We still have caulk missing, uneven paint, and plumbing issues that haven’t been corrected. Lennar seems to be trying but they freely admit Ocala is a new market for them and they don’t have a handle on the subcontractors. While I am grateful to be in a new home, I would not recommend Lennar to others. There is a lack of communication, coordination, and accountability within the organization that ultimately lands on the homeowner. ... More

Experience was positive. Response to questions and concerns were answered promptly and thoroughly.

This is my first time buying a Lennar home and the expensive has been an interesting one from the purchase until now I have no details that matter in building a home are lacking in some areas by comparison to other homes I have purchased. It’s the quality of value of a quantity and the quality of some of the items in the home aren’t up to par for the price of home that I have for instance there are some windows that I noticed that are drafts in the windows and condensation has appeared in many areas.

I wasn’t expecting we gonna move in at the date given to us, but Lennar did

The walk through would best be done after move in...overwhelming before. Retention of info would make sense after becoming familiar. Front yard landscape is unappealing. Warn new buyers untrustworthy solicitors seeking landscape, concrete jobs.

I had very pleasant experience watching my house being built. Personnel was very helpful trough the process. They responded to my questions. I was getting videos regularly showing progress of my house being built.

From the initial walkthrough, all the way until the contract was closed, the entire Lennar Team was attentive and very informative - which to new homebuyers is extremely important. Everyone had answers that helped reassure some of the concerns we had, and for that, we are truly grateful.

From delays all the way through the entire build. The The craftsmanship is terrible they’ve had to replace a couple of doors four times inside my house still haven’t got it right the trim work is uneven there’s painting is terrible the ceiling looks terrible all the way through have failed on this entire build on top of that The project manager/corporate lennar I don’t know who can’t figure out how to get mail to our mailbox post office says they have no idea which mailbox is ours so it’s just a terrible terrible experience I will tell everyone to never buy lennar

We had some issues with chipped cabinets. Not the best quality. So far they have been good with resolving. Didn’t find inside up to My standard in cleaning. Our garage floor was not clean. Some neighbors the cleaning staff hosed down. Not ours. Little disappointed with all the garbage, cans , bottles all around from construction. Construction should have pails to throw their garbage in instead of throwing on ground. Great neighbors took the initiative to clean out pond. It should have been done by cleaning staff.

Everyone so easy to deal with and responsive.

Our new home came with a thick coat of construction dust over everything. We had rust stains on our new shower pan bottoms, all the mirrors were still covered in stickers and filthy. Cabinets had wood chips and saw dust all over inside There had to of been no move-in clean. Lots of parts of it weren’t finished yet and we had to constantly check in about the contractors coming back and finishing their work. There is barely enough paint on the walls to cover the texture. If you need to wash anything off then immediately the paint is gone. Lots of dings and scrapes and things that never were patched up, but certainly should’ve been because they’re not good work. It’s clear that it’s Lennar who works for their subcontractors not the other way around. The subcontractors show up and do what they think is completing the job, even if it’s not, and still get paid and then they move onto the next house. They don’t wanna come back and make it right or finish it up. And Lennar lets them do that and still get paid. Don’t close on a Lennar home with a bunch of exceptions that they have to still fix. They make it sound, as if that’s a rare thing when you close, to have exceptions, but it’s certainly not true. Multiple neighbors have expressed that they had the same experience. Then there all the things not on your exceptions list like how our main floor thermostat wasn’t connected to our furnace. We had water damage that required a wall and ceiling to be ripped apart, because a plumber didn’t connect a pipe in the wall that drained humidity off our upstairs furnace when it would kick in. It took almost 7 weeks after we moved in to finally get all the smart home features actually installed and up running. ... More

My wife and I have already done quite a few remodels and had to deal with different contractors and juggle with so many moving pieces and selections. This time we decided to trust an experienced builder to build our home and minimize all the stress. Its was a great choice to go with Lennar all in. Selection process was kept objective and easy to navigate through the options. Dealing with the mortgage part was very informative and all our questions were answered. Through out the construction we were kept informed of the progress and the final product is our dream home in a fantastic neighborhood. All box were checked, we are delighted! ... More

The entire home buying experience with Lennar definitely exceeded our expectations. The process was very streamlined. Our loan officer always communicated with us very promptly. Lennar homes gave us a lot of bang for our buck. We had previously been interested in a home from another builder, for almost the same price. With Lennar, we got all the bells and whistles that would have cost extra with the other builder. We are very satisfied in our new home! Go Lennar!!!

Multiple delays with construction, appliances and closing. No communication with home buyer. Sales, construction, loan officers & closing don't communicate with each other. Don't respond to phone calls, texts or emails.

Have closed escrow 2 months ago but until now Ge dishwasher hasnt worked. Garage doors are 2 different appearance , “temporary garage doors” according to them but theyndont know when new garage doors will come. Too loud noise from hallway bathrooms , told my kids not to shower after 9 as it is like in wall the water sound. I think needs more insulation. I really regretted that i bought it at this price and comes with a lot of issues. And refrigerator door is uneven and and rough metal sticking out of water dispenser , all was requested as service but nothing happening. 2 months ! This is my second lennar house , somerset in irvine didnt have this problem. Until when will it be fix? Im really thinking to write this up and make people be aware , dont close escrow until you have a new garage door. Been asking for ETA but no response. One day i have to do something to have this all fix. And many more to say but next time. ... More

They're no 1 that will provide all what you need in your new home without adding another extra amount, they are also good in prices

The purchasing process including using Lennar mortgage was wonderful. My issues began when I closed before a few things were repaired and almost 2 months later I still have issues that haven’t been addressed. My contact was moved before the issues were resolved and customer service has stepped in to try to help. I am super frustrated at the communication post sale. I was not shown how anything worked in my walkthrough nor was I given any information. My precious new construction purchase was much better post sale. I am at this time confused as to who to go to for what and am frustrated that I still have a couple things that should’ve already been taken care of. The agent handling our purchase, Danette, was excellent. She was very responsive and handled our needs very professionally. The house has an excellent floor plan and lot. However, no quality assurance of the work was performed. The house should not have passed occupancy inspection due to no water to the kitchen through the hot water line. A closet door was a single, instead of a double door per the house plan. Cabinet doors were poorly aligned. Guest bath vanity drawers did not close due to improperly placed water line. Garage door did not align with pavement, resulting in a gap. Shrubs were planted poorly, 2 were close to dead when planted. Doorbell did not work. Shower glass did not get installed until 2 weeks after closing. Ground was not leveled prior to installation of sod; lack of completion of sod installation resulted in failure of initial occupancy inspection. Mailbox was not installed until a week after closing; USPS was not aware of address and mail that was forwarded from home was sent back. Had to close with all these items on an "exception list", no money withheld in escrow, We are one week shy of 2 months since closing and only the following corrections were completed: shower glass, hot water to kitchen (2 weeks after closing), and cabinet alignment. Bathroom waterline was corrected, but necessitated cutting a hole in adjoining bedroom; hole filled, waiting on painter (supposed to be here today). All corrections required daily calling of construction managers. There are many other items on the exception list, still awaiting action. Lennar defined the closing date, not the buyer, and without regard to time required to complete the work so that the house was ready for occupancy by the closing date. In fact, the letter from Lennar stated that the buyer should not plan on moving into the house on the date of closing. ... More

Good home. Great value for the money. Buying a home involves lots of paperwork. Would have been good to have a dashboard to track every document and its current status. Sometimes the Lennar portal didn't have things up to date. Construction finishes were not as clean as in past purchases with other builders. Cabinet alignment off. Dishwasher install improperly done. Construction equipment oil stains still on sidewalk. Cabling for internet. Took a month to get internet installed due to builder decisions. Home is beautiful. Like the floorplan.
