Could be better in customers benefit

Lennar service and all is great. In my opinion the upgrades should be different. Why no money back when not using tiles or carpet. Why not more freedom for upgrades for kitchen. Material use is cheap. Why not full flooring and then place kitchen island. Etc etc. should be a possibility to get discounted on kitchen and pick own kitchen and store. All is made simple for builder. But maybe I am spoiled with how things get done in the Netherlands.

Lennar responded:

Bad Experience with Lennar Mortgage

Our initial interaction with the sales person Deonna was wonderful - she was very responsive and answered all our questions. However, when we began the process of applying for the mortgage with Lennar out experience was horrible. We would rush to submit all the required documents and then not hear anything for weeks - and then a request would come in at the end of the day for the additional information that they needed. Would highly recommend that you NOT use Lennar for a mortgage - you are better off paying a little more to work with a company that will be responsive and respectful of ...

You are not allowed to make any upgrades to your new home other than flooring, kitchen cabinets and countertops. For the price that you have to pay for a new home, Lennar does not include towel holder bars in the bathrooms or any other extras, which is very disappointing.

The concierge service was very stern handed with Lennar and did not give choices or was not flexible at all with times and dates compared to a private realtor that bends over backwards and works with your schedule, not vice versa called maintenance on a couple plants in the backyard that we’re dying and I got told it was my fault after only living on the property for two weeks And refused to replace

Service after the sales lacks significantly. After closing there has not been any follow-up. Our stove never worked. We went back and forth with the electrical contractor and Frigidaire both pointing the finger at each other. The situation finally got resolved after six weeks. I still do not know how to operate my sprinkler system properly. ( no instruction Manuel left) .No instruction manual for any of the appliances or hvac. I feel like once they got my money at closing we were on our on.

I can honestly say my first time home buying purchase didn't go as well planned. My loan officer was horrible at communicating. If I never reached out to her she would probably have never called me etc. the lady who showed us the houses stopped talking to us after she knew we were going to be purchasing the home. The communication was poorly all around. Joshua the construction manager was amazing and Brandon the warranty manager was also very helpful. Over the home is what I wanted and 2 months in no issues have been raised.

Happy with home but some issues. One appliance did not work from start and instead of replacing appliance we had to go through warranty repair that has taken 6 weeks so far. Interior paint is subpar not best quality.

We love our townhome I would say if your a first time homebuyer like we were and you want to make it a special experience have a realtor because the experience it’s self didn’t feel very special and I will say every situation might be different but I would say they updated us on the progress but the whole time up until closing we didn’t even know for sure if we even got officially approved so we were more stressed than excited during the process. And we didn’t even get a key at signing we didn’t get our code until later the day we signed and the code they gave us first wasn’t even the right ...

Let's separate house, materials, workmanship, Lennar Mortgage/LennarTitle. House has nice layout and looks good, materials mostly cheap but apparently that's what you get for such price. Nice looking place, if you don't know what to look for or didn't order separate inspection. Big pluses: - good lot, great amenities center (really awesome). - people are responsive and nice. - sales guy is awesome, he even made his own website to give people needed information, cause Lennar doesn't do it. House issues: - NEVER buy house (even new one) without external inspection. I had 12 minutes ...

There were some issues with the process that needs attention. First there needs to be a time schedule in which phone messages should be returned. I will say that of all the different people I spoke with during the process, Dalton was the best. He would answer messages within a few hours. Secondly, there is too much repeat documentation going on. We had to submit the same documents more than 3 times to different departments as though we were going to get caught sending in the wrong or fraudulent documents which makes the buyer fell a certain kind of way. Then there are too many of the same ...

My house has no shutters on small windows like other houses that are the same model. I was told because my house has a right facing garage I didn’t get them. Houses on my block have them even though their garage faces right. Then I was told it was because of the altitude of my house was why I didn’t get them. Which is it? My garage floor had numerous cracks and looked like (I won’t say) but had to be finished costing me 1400 hundred dollars. My microwave frame had dents and as I watched it be replaced it was dinged and dented. Josh has taken care of my hot water heater and front door, thank ...

The buying experience was very organized. The process was explained well and we were given periodic updates. We actually used the builder’s mortgage company which made the whole process go smoothly. The quality of the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. The sub-contractors don’t show pride in their work. The overall site/home supervisor does not put my effort in presenting a good product. The materials used on construction are definitely builder grade even if you purchase the elite package. For example the towel rods and toilet paper holders are plastic and didn’t match ...

The lender department was incredible! The worked quickly with underwriting to get us into our new home and had amazing communication! Thank you to Kelsey and team for all the hard work!!! As for the house it’s pretty good we moved from a new build DR Horton and the quality is better for the most part. Our new house has solar panels and we closed on 2/28 and we still have not heard when they will be turned on so we are currently paying a full electric bill as well as a monthly rate for the panels so they are basically just a decoration at this point which is frustrating. As far as the ...

I want to start off with a few positives, the house is nice and spacious, the neighborhood looks and seems nice. (Still waiting on amenities). The home buying process for me was pretty awful. The sales agent was very attentive until I submitted an application. He did advise me that I’d hear from the loan officer the next morning (it was a Sunday, no big deal). After three days of not hearing from anyone, I began sending messages to the sales agent, and within the Lennar mortgage portal (I uploaded all of the required docs based on what was recommended within the application process). ...

Working with the construction team was a standout experience—their professionalism and quality were excellent. Unfortunately, the home buying process fell short. The back office was slow to respond, offered poor customer service, and consistently demonstrated a lack of attention to detail.
