All staff from various departments were friendly but there were so many involved that no one seemed to know what the other departments were doing. All staff were responsive wmexcept for one concierge Hanah who often did not respond to requests. I joked with the manager that Lennar should be paying me a salary as I had to do so much work in coordinating staff between departments. It wasn’t at all seamless or efficient

The buying process was smooth and easy, but I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of the home. We’ve run into several issues, especially with sand in the pipes, and were told this will always be a problem unless we install a filtration system—which isn’t exactly cheap. Honestly, that seems like something that should have been included from the start. On top of that, the carpet quality isn’t great, and one of the rooms has something melted into it, causing a bad odor. It’s been frustrating to deal with. I purchased a home Lennar. They did not pressure wash my driveway. They didn’t clean my yard after I purchased it. I had to ask them twice. The “free grass” I got is actually making me pay extra to get treated and my landscaper just told me I need to get all new grass. The HOA is asking me to get my yard treated

Sales in my opinion very poor. Was handed a list of homes and a house key and told go check them out and let me know if you want one. Construction purchased a finished inventory home. I walked the home 2weeks prior to my official walk thru and made a list of punch items. I gave this list to sales requesting it to be given to the construction team. The day of the walk thru none of the items had been addressed. Closing had to be moved 3 or 4 times. Had to reschedule movers twice, and they simply just didn't care. I initially didn’t have any issues however when it came time to move in my house had not been cleaned and the builders left mud, trash, dirt, and urine stains in the home. My sales rep assigned to me left all my texts and emails unanswered about this issue and some other questions I had. It wasn’t until my realtor got involved that they began responding to me. They sent a cleaning crew in a few days after I had moved in who were here for a maximum of 10 minutes and did not clean up all of the mess that was still here. I ended up having to clean up the mess of the builders and pick up all the trash left behind myself. I’m happy I have a house but I’m very disappointed in the way I was taken care of by Lennar ... After many emails from “concierges”, never laying eyes on any that I was passed around to, final walk through was done by Rebecca. She was nice enough but it was obvious she did this day in, day out, so was very pushy about getting done. All issues found were corrected on the spot! This is my first experience with Lennar, but not my first home buying experience. I felt like I was being herded through the process, this lady did not really care if I was happy or not. Through the entire process, first look to deciding to buy, then actually getting it purchased I was given incorrect information at times, had to reach out to whichever “concierge” I was assigned to at the time to get information on times, dates. Thankfully I had a realtor who was extremely engaged and helpful. Foreman Max turned out to be very helpful as well. ... More

Theresa our sales consultant was amazing through the whole process! Theresa was amazing to work with!!! However, our loan officer Ashley with Lennar Mortage made a MAJOR financial mistake that caused a huge financial burden on us. When we talked to Kristi about this in Theresa's absence since it was her day off she stated "well do you just want to cancel" instead of being sympathetic of the situation and try to rectify the issue. That was poor customer service on her part. However, we raised the lennar mortage issue with Theresa and she helped us get somewhat of a resolution. I still feel like Lennar Mortgage could have done better with a resolution. What they did was still not good enough and did not justify the financial burden it did to us. Issues with A/C and people digging in our front lawn to connect power to the electrical box in our backyard with no explanation. They also used a ladder to enter our backyard with no permission nd left a pile of dirt in front of our house for a week. Our lawn was dug in so we’re not sure if they’ll fix the lawn damage.

No patio, garage doesn’t smooth it with joint compound . Yard s a lot of water aeration .

At first I had a great experience with the seller’s agent… however she left the organization and I lost a valuable contact as the new agent never called me or returned any of my messages. During the celebration walk trough the agent was a bit dry and kept making comments about how her house was not as nice as the one I was buying. She would get annoyed when I pointed out things that needed to be addressed, then the finance processing was a nightmare as I was not even sure if I was going to close until 30 mins before closing. It was disappointing to see that my friend purchased the same house at a lower price just three months later. Our investment decisions are based on anticipated future value appreciation.

Closing walk through was rushed, prior inspection revealed many issues, these were to be handled before final walkthrough, yet most were not. “QA” person mentioned he had another appointment and that we needed to hurry up. When pointing out that many previous issues were not addressed, we were asked if we could “live with them”. Back door was missing a hinge pin, making it inoperable, reported this and followed up with a phone call to warranty service, no one ever came out and we ended up replacing ourselves after 3 plus days of no response. Found out today that our garage door is programmed the same as another home in the neighborhood, how does this happen? Quality of workmanship is subpar, kitchen cabinets don’t line up, nor does the surround in the master bathroom. Front porch was skim coated to fix a mistake and looks worse than before, driveway is cracked and joints aren’t cut properly. I really like the design and construction of our home. My problems started when we were rushed to have closing before the end of their quarter. Lennar would not let us settle after the end of November, as that is the end of their quarter. Made closing more stressful than it had to be. There were a couple of design changes, nothing to major, that we were not told about until seeing them and asking Lennar about it. I understand that their are design changes, but telling us what that is beforehand would have been better. Also service after the sale is pretty bad. From no communication between the people involved to no one showing up at the scheduled appointment time or returning my calls. As I said, the house is great, but with all the issues with settlement and after the sale, I won't be recommending Lennar to anyone. ... More

Our construction Manager, Macki is amazing! Everything else has been so-so... We have had a normal amount of "new construction" issues and our construction manager is always on top of it and doing everything she can to get it fixed but the folks that are "fixing" the issue are not really fixing the issue, just trying to cover up. It is extremely frustrating. There are a lot of things that could look way better if they were just fixed correctly the first time. The buying side was good, but the mortgage and title side of things had their own issues, not paying my insurance right away and getting told my insurance would drop me. Lots of cracks in the drywall as not enough joint compound was used and other issues need to be addressed at 60 day inspection.

Little to no response on HOA questions or requests

The quality is not the best. Poor finishing touches. Not being able to add add on's is ridiculous. It makes us hire after the fact which is more expensive. Cabinets are cheap and small. Very disappointed.

They are very prompt with getting arrangements made for sending people out to fix things. Our only issue is obvious cracks in the tiles are being brushed off as it's part of the pattern.

Felt dismissed and spoken down to after the contract was signed. Very condescending salesman. Michael.

Overall, the communication is horrible. Maybe there's a rule that "do not answer the phone" by Lennar. My sales agent has never answered the phone, and the response time for texts is at least a few days later, and no response at all sometimes. Lennar is well-known with quality builders, and people expect quality employees from Lennar. However, the level of service they are provided is very disappointing.

As I’m living here I’m finding a lot of little things that could had been corrected. I do not think Lennar uses a quality assurance person to check their work. Examples: Uneven drywall Vents that shake and make noise Cracks in drywall Weeping holes that protrudes out the house Creaks in stairs weather strips falling off doors Entrance doors that won’t lock Chipping of cement in garage floor

Tess was great to work with.. she was very informative and helpful..on the mortgage side, not so much..frustrating, would provide info and then they would ask for the same info you just gave them.. we couldn’t close the way we were supposed to, so we had to drive to salt lake to do so.. quality of materials - Lennar doesn’t care, gives you zero choices and the cheapest of cabinets, flooring at a pretty steep price.. you get what you get and that’s it! Literally most of all the new home buyers on our street have literally gutted their brand new homes and built them back the way they should be with much better craftsmanship and quality of materials. And after all this, they part of the neighborhood to have fencing that goes completely against HOA rules and then tell you that you can’t put up a fence particularly when you have a 5ft drop off in your back yard!! Ease of the overall process was good, excluding a few snags in the very last stages of the process.

There have been numerous issues with the home. Nothing major and nothing that has been responded to. The main pain point with moving into the home is the the cleanliness of the home at move in. We have spent hours scraping and cleaning paint splatters on all the floors with hard surfaces. This can be easily corrected by Lennar by using drop clothes when painting.
