I had issues with the entire buying process except titling and the final walkthrough with Scott and Saul. My sales rep CC was my least favorite person with this deal luckily I had my own realtors on my side to oversee her. The best part of this ordeal is Scott from the construction team always available for a call or to help in the house even after the sale. This guy is a true asset to the Lennar team. Actual home and build quality is good. So far, no major complaints. The issue with Lennar is how they treat you once you close and move in. Despite multiple complaints, construction manager has done nothing to prevent construction crews from blocking my driveway for hours every day while other homes are being built. Dismissive attitude, stating “luckily they will be done soon” when I brought up that I can’t leave for work or I’m not getting packages due to blockage. Here is my honest review of my experience so far. To begin, we love our house and would consider buying from Lennar again. But the buying process was not problem free so just know you have to advocate for yourself early on. Do not sign off on the walk-through until ALL issues are resolved first. We closed escrow in September 2024. Lennar Mortgage and Title did not communicate with each other very well. My fiancé and I started our homebuying process with Lennar early in the year, and initially all of our questions were answered in a timely fashion, and everything was great. As time progressed it began to be a hassle to get information or get a response in a timely manner (this went for Lennar associates as well as their financial team). We closed the house on 8/29/2024, we had issues with the back door, did not lock; during the first walking there was no refrigerator and was brought in a week later, after hurricane Milton, the lanai roof soffits were gone and the ones left we found out they were stitched with plastic staples, poor quality of construction on a brand new home that the lanai back door roof did not held winds; resulting in the homebuyer fixing it, The bathroom door when I open the shower door it hits the countertop from the bathroom counters. At the start of my process the people were so nice and helpful. When I started the process they told me about what I needed, however once we started to get into it and after I was on vacation I was constantly bothered for information that was already provided. We were very excited to purchase our new home and initially we were treated that way in the beginning. Once our house began was when we started to have some communication issues. Our building manager had changed hands three times but we were not alerted until we were scheduling our walkthroughs. Disappointed… easy to get in. Sales and mortgage groups were great. What promised was not what I was given. Now fence blown down and it seems they are taking their time to repair. We live on main road and it is super loud and cars have access to our back door. Very scary.

Spec sheet for the home stated finished stone veneer. When we moved up to the new home it was completed with siding. No adjustments have been made by the builder except to say "it was my fault". Have asked HOA to further investigate. Was hoping for either adjustment at closing or replacement of the siding-nothing has been done-felt like a bait and switch.

When I first reached out to Lennar, I was really excited about buying a Lennar home. Come to find out the whole buying process involved poor customer service with all communication by text or email and long waits for your questions and concerns to be answered. You will get phone calls when they need something but do not expect lennar to pick up your calls. The mortgage people sucks and will not communicate in a timely manner. My wife and i have had someone out to fix cabinets twice now. The first time the cabinet guy said that the quality of your cabinets was poor and the issue we were having was going to be a continuing thing. (Front face falling off). He fixed them but failed to do it correctly. So 2 weeks later we had another work request. Our sales rep was very communicative and responsive and when trouble arose she took the reins and jumped in to help us. If it were not for our sales rep Hailey, I would have walked from the deal. The home buying concierge assigned to us was so bad—she was non-responsive, didn’t return calls or emails. She was incorrectly relaying information from the project manager to me and probably from me to him. She also gave misinformation that confused and frustrated me. Overall, I would probably choose Lennar again but I would shop around with other builders as well to compare.

We love our new floor plan, it works great for our family. Having lived in the house for a couple of months now, however, there are several quality issues that we have noticed. Our doorbell had a blown transformer right off the bat, lightbulbs burned out within days of moving in, whoever is in charge of the caulking, grouting and paint was either a novice or moved through too fast and created quite the mess. The "construction clean" was not clean at all. There was still dust all over the house on top of light switches, counters, baseboards, floors... I'm not entirely sure that our countertops ...

Definitely not the best experience specifically with the sales staff whom seem to be quite indifferent after the purchase completion. Bought a new home built by Lennar in South Carolina and had an excellent experience with the support and sales staff. Wouldn’t recommend Nichol’s Place to friends or family. We’ll see how it goes from now on.

I would not be inclined to use Lennar mortgage again. Every time something came up a new person would reach out needing more information. Many times at the end of day or weekends. It was the hardest purchase of a home that I have done in the four homes I have purchased over the years.
