I came to SA from out of state and had to handle everything via phone calls. My first point of contact in the sales office, Diana, was the most wonderful, sweet, and helpful person. She got me the information I needed so I could set up an appointment for my realtor to come take a look the very next day. I decided to do it! It was 25 days from first Google to standing in my new home for my final walkthrough, meeting my construction manager Tony, who let me follow him around asking a ton of questions while he touched up a few last minute details. Issues with lawn still looking like crap but is scheduled for this week. Much crap in back yard since closing at end of August but I cleaned much of it up yesterday (Oct.24) as I am having family visit this week. One of closet doors is not closing shut but I need to put in a ticket shortly to correct. When closing, called up Lennar lawyer for possible mortgage but never got back to me. This wasn't a main problem as I paid cash for the house instead.

Lack of communication and closed on house with a lot of issues!!!

The quality of the house is very very low. It was my second home purchase and found very low quality material and definitely used unprofessional labor to construct these houses. During my orientation I put correction items, but guess how much additional correctional items they added. It was so frustrating dealing with all these and pushing further out to correct and looks like they will never get done. They missed a lot of items to install in the house. PAINTS ALL OVER CARPET, DOOR KNOB, Tiles, vent hood,

After we moved into the house the customer service has been below par. Major issues have bot been addressed and even after moving into the house for the last 2 months we are still waiting for issues to be resolved

Quality of workmanship can be better. Example; don't use flat paint.

Reasonable price,nice build, lots house for the money you paid , won't regret.

The house stood thru the hurricane. The quality of work is terrible. The reason the walls are textured is to hide imperfections and not mud and sand. There are dips and ruts. I like the neighbors and surroundings. Lennar does not look at the home form the inside as a home owner and how things work. The driveway has no sub barrier so grass continuously grows thru. There was so much blue tape warranty said this is construction things not post close warranty.

I've owned several homes over the years but have never brought a new home before - everyone from Lennar made the process seamless and easy.

The agent on site nice, but, she is supposed to be. That is the best and only best thing which can be said for the whole experience with Lennar. As far as the mortgage experience is concerned, if it were not for the incentives used I would not have used them. As to the subcontractors used, if they worked for me they would have to get better real quick or find another line of work. Subcontractors work rating is fair too poor and that can be appealed from floor, to ceiling, to outside.

Buying a home from Lennar has been a terrible experience. The quality of the home is not good and customer support from Lennar has been awful.

Worst buying experience of my life. I wish I could point to one positive aspect but I cannot. Customer service at this organization is nonexistent!

This will be THE LAST time I ever buy a Lennar home and I will tell everyone who asks me, how crappy this house is. We basically only moved forward with the purchase because it was buy this house or be homeless. We pay so much money for a house that comes with the bare minimum. We don't even have a back yard water faucet and live facing a retention area. If that area ever caught fire, we have no way of helping contain that. No window screens, our home inspector was shocked with no screens. The door ways to the restrooms are not wheelchair accessible as they are so narrow. We live in TEXAS and the home came with no ceiling fans. The walls and insulation are so weak, someone standing at our front door or even on the front porch can hear us speaking inside. We had our first storm last night and it felt like the house was going to blow apart. The workmanship of the painting in the home is bad, we can see imperfections everywhere in the framework. Responsive and easy to work with.

even though we were hoping for a slightly higher quality of build, they did good and quickly agreed any issues we had- and did it in a kind, professional manner:)

Even small basic request were not considered/ denied during construction process . Inspite of saying we will bear the cost for the materials.?for example drilling a hole in the kitchen tile prior to putting up tiles. It’s not easy for us to do it now and more expensive to break things open. We paid over the asking price, I wish Lennar rep was able to consider such small request… backyard grading is pathetic . We purchased the lot so that we have enough space for kids to play. With such poor grading and water getting stuck it’s not usable at all. The original date for closing was October to December but was completed in August. It seems very rushed and many minor things were overlooked. The person who did the walk through was not even from this community and had no clue on water source. The final walkthrough was scheduled for short window between closing and we had to rush through and sign the papers. Given a choice I would rather have these issues fixed and then signed final papers. The number of issues are overwhelming now and we are on hook to follow up with CM and warranty folks. Every fix needs scheduling and working around our schedules to accommodate. We are constantly worried that something else will break and we may not be covered by warranty every day. We had to deal with bugs inside the house for more than 2 weeks due to bad insulation. Despite complaining many times it was not handled in urgency. The dishwasher was never tested and we had to wait for 2-3 weeks for replacement. These are supposed to be taken care by the folks who inspected and given okay and not the homeowners responsibility after moving. ... More

There is no sound proofing between the ceiling and the neighbors floor above I hear everything that goes on upstairs!!!!! I made settlement in September 7th now I’m going to try and sell it hopefully no one reads this LOL !! It’s 2022 I shouldn’t be able to hear my neighbors upstairs. Lennar probably doesn’t care so here is your review

I’ll just say it this way, every delay and problem should not be blamed on supply chain. The process to get help for warranty feels like a tribunal. You have to prove and show the problem with your camera to customer service. They have a guy on site that can easily verify, why not use him? For us, they tore up our yard to finish construction of a wall and have not even repaired the yard yet. They didn’t discuss the size of the wall with us when we were directly impacted by it. (I think it’s is too tall) Our front yard trees look misplaced now because of the new wall. Should they be moved? Yes! Will they? Likely no because it would take a really concerned designer’s eye to know and then do this. I should not have to beg for them to finish the mess they made (been a month!). The lending office was absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend. The design office was incredibly expensive and I do not recommend. The sales office was friendly and helpful but was off on the cost of flooring upgrade by 100%. The neighborhood is awesome and I strongly recommend people to buy. The overall score of 4 is due to the price of flooring, the process for warranty, and the lack of concern and responsiveness for our yard. Hope this helps you in your decision to buy. ... More

Absolutely fantastic overall experience as a family with a first time home build!

You get what’s listed in the inventory. Other companies charge extra for everything beyond the a basics.

Shawn with Lennar Backbock Ranch was terrific. We did feel a b it pressured to close when there were numerous items in the home that were not comnplete. 6 weeks later we are still trying to get this done.

Not the same as previous communities built by Lennar.
