I liked the representative. She went above and beyond to help us and make us happy but when it came to the construction it was finish quick and we will fix it once we close on the house. I have been having major problems with the subfloor (it creaks). This is NOT my first home that I have built and for someone to tell me all homes creak, yes they do, OLD HOMES not brand new construction homes. Then, there is the issue with the sheetrock. It is beginning to bulge out, again all these issues are things that shouldn't be happening within 2 months of living there. On the contrary to the ...

LOVE my house and location but once I closed - crickets! I’ve had to request mailbox keys and how to pay HOA dues. No one ever welcomed me to the community let alone see if I had any questions after moving in. “Fully Connected” and “easy DIY” are a joke. Most new homeowners I’ve asked are NOT connected to their devices because they can’t figure out how to set them up. Lennar takes your money but then, you’re on your own!

Lennar construction team did good job in delivering home on time but there were some issues with windows, stairs, drywall and more. Good thing is construction manager Jim is so good and responsive, he made sure most of my issues were resolved. We’re not happy with sales team. Our sales manager Brighid didn’t provide proper updates about house construction or open issues within the house. Also she wasn’t there during closing formalities neither contacted us before or after closing.

Great house..many delays

We signed for new construction in mid April 2021...we're given a tentative closing estimate of 10/31/21 to 11/14/21. Then, after obtaining permit approvals in late May...the delays started...ground was not broken on our house until September. So a 4 month delay. Covid was said to be the reason for all delays. Understandable at 1st. Then we saw homes signed for "after ours" closing in Sept...Nov and Dec. Covid did not prevent some homes from moving forward to close. It seemed to my wife and I that the original CMs had forgotten about us and it was very, very frustrating. In October, we ...

Lennar - Everything about the exterior is amazing.

Everything about the exterior is amazing. The inside quality was rushed. The painting, caulking, lighting, and details were all very poorly done. If they did not rush to get it done the house would be perfect. The craftsmanship just went out the door because of the rush for whatever reason.

Notified less than 5 days before closing that move-in was would be delayed due to cabinetry not available. This notification came after I resigned from my job, sold my home in Atlanta, and just before the drive to relocate to Florida. I stayed in a hotel for 3 weeks until unit was ready for move-in. Lennar did take care of the costs.

Lennar - can provide more quality based homes.

can provide more quality based homes. Once the house is signed, we need to take care of all the issues. Quality of house is not that much appreciated. When I put up same question, they mentioned its human build and mistakes will happen, which was not expected. Final inspection should be done by team and identify issues and close it before customer do it.

Nothing Stood Out

Like any other home, I imagine there were small problems that would pop up but were generally quickly handled by Lennar. The sinks in the home all around are absolutely terrible. None are designed to drain food and water. They are mostly flat and therefore don't drain very well. The kitchen sink particularly would have been better off with a 2 basin sink that actually allowed itmes to flow downward and drain.

Be aware of the Move in Ready line. our house was not clean, the yard is 2 different types of sod, there were plumbing and electrical issues with the house that took 30 days to get corrected. I feel the corporation was in a rush to close and overlooked many quality issues. We will not buy another Lennar Home.

Construction manager was very responsive to our questions, post closing. Suggestion: at closing, all incomplete work documented and signed by Lennar rep. And buyers as done by GL homes. This would alleviate buyer anxiety.

I found the construction manager and the followup great. The sales people were also very responsive and helpful. The overall construction was less than I expected for the price that I paid...ie the backyard requires more fill in order to stabilize the patio, the bathroom window is clear and look directly out on a neighbors entry, the grouting was very poorly done in many areas.

Customer service on the builder side was seriously lacking. I expected it to take longer than estimated to build, but the roadmap was unclear and timeline changed so many times and took twice as long as the original estimate for close. My issue was really with how unclear the process was in terms of next steps and the timeline of what was needed from me. For a company that has all of the parts of the process able to be managed by Lennar businesses I had hoped they’re communication between building and lending for example would have been better. Overall, would I do it again? Maybe but not in ...

It's been nearly impossible to find an affordable home. I was relieved to find a new home in a new community. The house is designed well. With that said, the community has been largely built in the absence of an adequate infrastructure. Power goes out regularly. The community ammeneties are still not complete. Contractors are leaving footprints in the concrete and there seems to be no oversight into quality control in a number of areas. Construction sites are littered with bottles and cans and storm sewers are filled with garbage in construction areas. With that said, it is easy to report ...

The sales guy I dealt with was not 100% honest about things that would be included in the home. We noticed a lot of things that needed to be done during the walk through that was done afterwards. There was a lot more things that were not done or were not done the way they were supposed to be done, because the construction manager was not available during the completion of my home and because this is my first home I wasn’t aware of everything I needed to be looking for. Their responsiveness to fix everything in a timely manner I was grateful for.

Shoddy workmanship, they shouldn't use the phrase "Everything's included" anymore - it isn't. No cabinet pulls anywhere in the home. Blinds in privacy rooms only (we had both in our previous homes - blinds throughout, cabinet pulls, nicer appliances, a clean ready to move in home, engineered wood floors, and quartz countertops in the bathrooms - not laminate). House was NOT ready for move in, construction dust everywhere, paint drips all over the floor and carpeted rooms (aren't you supposed to paint before you put the carpet in?), the decorative brick outside the house was falling off in ...

(2) Disappointing Surprises: A) Master Bath Vanity: Master Bath in the Model had 4 drawers; whereas our Vanity only has 2 drawers...increasing dead space on either side of the sink .We were never appraised of this change. When approaching Lennar, no one could identify a solution (sales, operations, construction)..."this not my responsibility" was response received. B) Location of Outdoor Covered Parking Spot: We purchased our Unit on the Top floor of our building ($)... with the expectation our spot would be somewhere in the 1st row nearest the building. We are in Bldg #5...all the other 4 ...

Except for the level-headed and well-mannered Lennar’s coordinator (Taylor), our experience could have been permanently stored in the freezer. She was honest, trustworthy, and thoroughly well-skilled in dealing with customers’ frustration. Delay, delay, and delay typified the buying process. The signing of the contract was postponed several times to take advantage of the escalating price. But we signed one in February of 2021 with a potential closing date of June. Then, the date moved to July, August and then in September no light could be seen at the end of the tunnel. In fact, we were ...

Lennar - The closing date kept moving more times than it should have.

The closing date kept moving more times than it should have. One time it was moved 24 hours prior to our third closing date. This was due to delays by construction. When we finally got a new home walk through the house was in no condition to be viewed. There were people still working on the home. Toilets were still being installed as we were inspecting the home. No appliances were installed, no gas meter, no sprinkler, no sod and no fence, painting not complete to name a few. It was extremely disappointing.
