Sales started strong and communications fell by they wayside. Updates were not timely or accurate. Having difficulty with the warranty issues we have reported, overall construction is good. Service seems to be our issue.

A lot of back splash from the paint and back door problems and landscaping problems water not draining properly

My husband and I recently brought a home in Lindera Preserve and had a great experience. Everyone from sales (Alvin), construction (Chip) and even during the underwriting (Rob) was very knowledgeable and helpful. We originally were going to go with a different lender but Lennar Mortgage was able to save us thousands in monthly payments and closing costs!!!! We have been in our home for a month with no major issues and we couldn’t be happier. There are a lot a bad review about Lennar in other states but we honestly didn’t have ANY ISSUES from contract to closing. The sales person was very good at selling/pushing the place. But I was not pleased at the amount of dishonesty that occurred during the entire process. From being dishonest about when closing would be, I to nobody showing up at my walk-through, to the change in my loan, type at the end of the process, All the way to several warranty items that have still not been completed. I.

You have “ yes” us to death, but followed thru with nothing.

Was pushed to close with the home with many pending issues that made the place not ready for move in. 2 months after closing and stilll many issues pending, There is no responsiveness from the Senior Construction Manager to cancel moleste items are n the punch list. Worst experience ever !

The quality of the materials could be better. The finishing could improve as they haven't done good finishing.

no coordination between lennar groups no quality of materials no quality of workmanship no communication to me i was lied to about what i would be receiving in my home would never recommend a lennar home!

The construction manager is just in a rush to get it over than releasing a quality product. I find huge number of issues on daily basis and have to keep raising tickets which is really overhead for me.

I'm mostly disappointed in how some of the homes in the neighborhood are maintained. I was surprised to learn the number of investment properties and rental that are in the subdivision. We have some houses were the grass has not been cut, dogs tied up in the front yards, basketball goals lying down in the front lawn, and couches in the garage where people just hang out with the garage door up. This is definitely not what I was expecting and I don't know what the homeowners association is doing. Overall, I'm just disappointed.

This company is focused on just pushing numbers out the door rather than customer satisfaction. The overall experience has been very disappointing as I'm still waiting for my home to be completed as we approach 2 months after the date of closing. I was offered an incentive to close on the original closing date (didn't really have a choice) and told the house would be ready within 30 days. We are nowhere close to being ready and the unresponsiveness from low level staff that are responsible for just booking walk throughs, to the sales teams, and even high level executives has been telling (I got desperate and attempted to reach out to regional presidents to try and escalate things without any luck). Poor quality construction. Cheap material used.

the construction of my home took over 34 months and was plagued with the worst management I have ever seen in a home builder. It has been and still is the worst home buying experience of my life. In the end we never moved into this house because the delay took so long. We have the home listed for sale and again the delay in construction has cost us 100s of 1000s of dollars.

WAY WAY WAY too many emails & surveys

This is the fifth house my wife and I have purchased, third new build. By far, worst quality build. We have been in the home for almost two months and original punch list items still haven’t been corrected. There have been multiple laborers come through to correct the same issues repeatedly. No pride in their work. To date, still not fixed. From start to finish, this has been a horrible experience. I wholeheartedly regret making this purchase. Would not recommend Lennar to friends or family.

Our buying experience was great until it was time to close. Our walkthrough was a waste because we couldn’t actually get in to the house and the punch list was SO long they told us that it just wouldn’t get done. We ultimately were forced to close on our half finished house that is already starting to fall apart one moth into it. So beyond disappointing.

Great buying experience overall. The value was there for the size home we needed. Good communication throughout.

No words to describe how disappointed we are with Lanner. Delays over 90 plus days, no communications at all from any office , sale or builders, if any then was at last minute like day before closing.... like ups your closing just move to the next month ... your mortgage Lennar as well did not have any clue when is closing.... same day they calling congratulating me for next day closing then few min after another call sorry closing is not happening , delay for another reason. Blue tape walks were joke, nothing were fix right or at all, power to building ups I had to personally make calls to power company and speed it up process to power up building. Quality of work , I will love to show you, please be my guest and come over and see your self , look at base boards , dry wall , paint spots all over carpet , door frames , kitchen cabinets crown molding , damages on flooring, crocked walls . corners ...... all those details were pointed and blue taped and almost nothing was done. Out side decorative stone tiles are not installed correctly... its embarrassment of work done. Beside all this details some small some large hopefully will get corrected via warranty but experience and how did everything play from day of signing contract till closing day not sure if anyone can repaired our frustration and disappointment with Lennar and whole process. Communication was the biggest issue, we were in dark most of time , only info I did receive and had is when I had to track down manager at construction site about progress. Very poorly manage by Lennar officials. Half of Mil $ investment required much more costumer service and as well trustworthiness , responsiveness, quality of product and process. Quality of the build is much worse than a few years ago; pressured into closing even when home had many unfinished or damaged parts such as no mirrors/ shelves and broken windows and cabinets. After closing, very hard to get a timely response on warranty request to fix the problems. Would not buy another Lennar home again

It is taking a long time for Lennar to get the issues in our exception list resolved, particularly installing the smart lock.

The value of the home is decent for CA. The walls are super thin. I was told I wouldn't hear neighbors as that was my concern with a condo style home. I hear every sound including garages and the closing of doors. I am happy with my home, but wish I'd known what to be prepared for.

LiZ was good. Timely and professional. Ben was our builder and i had to manage the project at end to get water meter hooked up and finally het is to closing. Delays at end cost us 1.25% higher interest rate which will wind up costing us thousands of dollars. Could give me answers about water hookup delays, so i had to go to water dept and get things moving

Our experience with Lennar is that outside of the construction managers, there is a substantial lack of follow through and integrity.

During the buying process we never received updates from the building manager, although we were promised that we would receive weekly updates. At the initial walk-through, there was a long list of punch items to be done. We were promised they would be done by the closing the following Wednesday, when we arrived at the closing walk-through 90% of items were still incomplete, including zero appliances. We agreed to close with the understanding that all issues would be completed by Friday. 2 months later we still have a long punch list of items that are not complete. First and last! I highly DONT recommend Lennar builders. Beautiful home but the process was painful and put us in horrible living situations.
