Construction Supt, Jon Pervain, throws together a home and then does a lousy job of correcting the many problems that his operating standard generates. Big difference between this house and the Lennar home we bought in Terra Vista about 14 years ago!

Watch out for the quality of the build. Look at a finished home other than the models.

Terrible customer service! Pressure to close on home when not ready. Told us to move form 4 states away that it was ready to move in. It was still rough, not finished. Had to live in hotel for a couple of weeks after closing. Poor responsiveness from managers. Shabby finish work. I will never buy from Lennar again and will do my very best to warn future customers.

We have been left with numerous issues since the day of closing and it has been a month and a half of poor communication and constant follow up to try to get them resolved. From the poor finish work, incomplete work and lack of cleanup, it is clear that corners were cut to make the closing date set by Lennar. There were a few items that should have prevented it from even passing inspection. Along with finish work problems like paint, we have poorly caulked windows and a roof which had torn and damaged shingles. We had been told that Lennar was one of the best builders around. Lot of issues: NO Heat Pump until after 2 months of closing. No proper customer support, Negligence in responding to queries. No Extra laminate tiles given Backyard sliding door is broken within a month. Issues with price paid. Bad /un acceptable appraisal report provided for the home. I need to escalate this however the customer reps are very hesitant to do that because of the issue on the builder side.

Horrible new home build- buyer beware

So much wrong with our new build it is crazy and after speaking with neighbors in the community several others are having similar issues with the quality of work and issues on their homes. Had I known I would have never bought with Lennar and will not buy a home in future from this builder nor recommend them. Our home was also delayed a month on closing and issues we wanted fixed still were not done and more issues were found upon moving in. Towel wall rack fell out of the wall, tile in bathroom needs to be redone in shower, insulation left out of walls upstairs, baseboards and trim cut too ...

I really hate to speak poorly of any company but I do wish that someone has warned me about Lennar. They are a big company building lots of houses and it’s easy to get lost. They have lots of small divisions each of which own an element of your selling/building/closing experience. It was really hard to know who to call for what or how to get updates (we lived out of state). The final walk through and resolution of outstanding issues was terrible! I can’t recommend them in good conscience.

Lennar’s selling process was well organized and pretty painless. Their online portal is great. While our house was delayed by 6 months that’s not entirely their fault. Charging US for 5 days of delay while we completed our home appraisal process after waiting 6 months for Lennar seems a bit unfair, regardless of the clause on the contract. Real disappointment was the quality of workmanship in paint, cabinets…pretty low-end.

We are happy with our new home but the quality it is in the lower end for a new build. Thy need to do a much better work during their internal QC process or selecting contractors. Found several issues after moving in and we eventually had to get an external inspector. Zero attention to detail. Still haven't found a single window frame that it is properly level in the house. Silver lining is that they provide a one year warranty and the customer service rep for my community is doing an excellent job helping us solving them.

Had to place best and final bid offer for home. You'll never know if you overbid or not. No customizing your new build, which is not what was communicated to us until it was too late (would have to give up deposit). They rush you to make your deposits and closing on your home, but are slow to respond when issues arise. They also don't give you timelines on how your home is progressing in the building phase. Not sure I would recommend them at this time. This makes me think twice about buying a new construction home in the future.

Do not close on your property until you are happy with the job, the punchlist does not necessarily matter after you close. We are presently 7 weeks after closing and still do not have a functional pool. Lennar was in a rush to close for their fiscal monthly/quarterly numbers. New home consultant disappeared after closing with no replacement figure given. No messages answered or returned after closing, although project manager Trevor has been very helpful. Some of the problems on the punchlist that were supposed to be taken care of before closing are slowly being addressed, but I had to ...

Everyone I worked with at Lennar was great. And Masen saved the day by finding me some extra tiles. All in all a very good experience.

We closed on our home on August 30,2022. We expected it to be ready to move into when we arrived. There were about 27 items not finished, some big and there was no certificate of occupancy. Arthur set us up in a condo on the property for 4 nights until we could move in. The personnel we worked with were great to get it finished; however, the subcontractors were slow to respond while some materials were hard to get according to the construction managers. There are still 9 unfinished items to complete and it is October 19, 2022—49 days from closing. Lennar corporate should not allow any ...

The model home (McGinnis) and our builder rep (Suzette) brought my wife and i to grow fond of Lennar. We had a great first impression however, soon after little things start to make one see it’s not that great. The process and stages of building the home are subpar at best. The trades are awful. Lennar’s business model is flawed. To allow a customer to watch and entire house built from the ground up and not allow them to meet their general contractor to discuss building issues is a complete lack of care for any customer relations. Lennar’s idea is to tell your builder rep (who isn’t up to ...

There were a lot of things on our warranty list that had to be completed and has not been completed yet. Some of the outside stucco work looks shabby. The yards are not designed to be wheelchair accessible. Wood chips right next to driveway is messy and you can't get get out your car without stepping on them and spreading them on the driveway. It is not a good front yard design. My husband just recently found out he may have to use a wheelchair we can't get his wheelchair out or walker on a smooth surface when he first get out the car. It was a really bad experience buying and doing the walk through of the house . House was not properly finished. Still pending a lot of things to be complete. Never answer phone calls or emails. They are in the business of making money and they are rushing the process and cutting corners. Complicating and making it worse for the homeowners

The home is still incomplete, my exceptions list is still open, and it's been over a month and a half since I closed. It feels like the warranty period is really there so Lennar can finish the house. I have a dip in my floor and was told it's within tolerance so there's nothing they can do. There have been issues with paint, concrete, baseboards, and more just to name a few. Let's just say I'm disappointed with who I thought was ranked Las Vegas's number 1 homebuilder.

Home Buying with Lennar was good, their sales agents were always there when required. Since i was not a localite to the place i bought i had to rely on Lennar sales agents for my home. There are few things that could have been done better when it comes to materials and the way the appliances are put in, also since it was my first home i expected the sales agent to explain what are the postivies atleast to me to make sure i am not missing anything in my home.

We paid through the roof with a almost 6% interest rate for screens that are too small, glue on floors, carpet padding missing in some spots, toilet shoots out water when we flush, not all window sills were painted. They used cheap chalk paint to paint. Honestly this house is not worth what we paid. Not to mention I can’t do anything or it will void my warranty so when I call the builders they are never available. Second Lennar home and Incredibly disappointed. I will never have a build with them again.
