Bad communication

Pretty bad experience in terms of communication, I tried to call so many times but no answer, even email communication is very bad. I still have issues with home insurance because I changed A to B. but I still pay A rate, and nobody does nothing to fix and calling or emailing is nearly impossible to speak with right pesons....

Richard seemed like a glorified babysitter over workers but really knew nothing. Lee knew more .House was DEFINATELY not checked for problems and repaired before sale was complete.

Several items could have been made much better in this experience. From a quality standpoint every item, and there we a lot, could have been done the right way the first time and kept everybody's stress level down. Most items are as cheap as they can go, cabinets, closures..... We never got the trustworthiness we would have liked. We built in a 55 plus, and most of the time you just got an automated e-mail, hardly ever a person to explain, and they would come 5 at a time. Been nice to have that one person with you from start to finish. When you call who you think you should they tell you it ...

The home buying process in the beginning was very fast which was good. However, there wasn’t much communication as to what “phase” we were in or status updates after signing the purchase agreement. As first time homebuyers, we were pretty lost with the whole process. The house is lovely, the walk through was smooth & easy. Issues came about after moving in such as no cold water, garage door not hung properly, vent to the bathroom installed without a spring, cracks in the shower floor.. but they were handled in a timely manner for the most part. The team at Lennar title were the most helpful ...

Options provided are great, suggest that the homeowners have some selections choices in the process. Address all items prior to closing.

The most important thing I would suggest to perspective buyers is to be at the home site weekly, address the concerns as you seem them and make sure you do not close on your home until all punch items are resolved. Also make sure you get your own home inspector.

We like the style of our home, but the finishing details are not the best. The crown molding is poorly installed. Very obvious joints are visible. The appliance package is not the best either. Our microwave stopped working after 3 weeks. Took almost a month to get a new one. Our customer service person was great in getting this solved. If it weren’t for Chris C. We would still be waiting. Hard to believe there are no ceiling lights in the bedrooms. There is no egress off the back porch either so the homeowner has to spend money right off the bat if you want to get off your porch without ...

So the home is nice for the most part, the yard is a good size. My only concerns were that the closing was a bit of a mess and it was hard to get a hold of certain people. Also. We have had an ant problem since the day we moved in and we’ve even paid to have someone come and spray but they keep coming in through the walls

On and Off Experience with Lennar

A very stressful buying experience - Gyorgyi the sales rep for Lennar was the reason for our stressful buying experience. Encourage new buyers to get everything in writing and not assume anything. Gyorgyi was like a used car salesperson - tells you anything you want to hear whether is right or wrong - just to make the sale. Ultimately, we are happy with our home; however, we just about walked away from buying a home from Lennar.

The salesman was attentive, and informative. The closing agent did a good job on the documents. The construction seems sturdy; however, the interior finish was sloppy. Paint was splashed on the floor tiles and front door. Some interior equipment and appliances were poorly installed and cheap. Having to pay 4 different associations is burdensome.

This was my third house purchased with Lennar, and I was really impressed by how poor the quality of finishing and details was compared to the others. They have tried hard to resolve everything, but for me it was a disappointment and I will think twice before buying the next house with them.

Could not make walk through, tried a zoom walk through however lack of internet did not allow that. Therfore we were quite surprised on move in day. Doors were unlocked missing items from within the home washer & dryer not hooked up. House was never cleaned very good, water to refrigerator not hooked up, dish washer did not work and it took three times over a month to get it working. Paint on 90% of all wall plates. And when we tried addressing these issue we were told it's now a warranty issue. Therfore not a very good experience to start out.

Lennar does not offer options or upgrades which was very disappointing for me. Lennar wants me to buy what they offer which is pretty much its standard plan but added $10K to my purchase price vs the one that was released a week ago from my lot. Very greedy developer in my opinion. Lennar wants homebuyers to just eat up what they offer and tear their new home down if they want a different backsplash or paint color. Lennar shoves into new VIPs throats selections made by the previous VIPs (who backed out) for interior color, cabinets, carpet, flooring even if the lot has not started ...

solar company was imposed on buyers. not very responsive solar company. the panels were already muddy at the time of move-in. build quality in average, not upto the brand name "LENNAR". window installation was average. overall average. buying experience was not the best. had to follow up on the next steps multiple times. no one from lennar provided a clear roadmap of things that would take place before closing and the procedures. everything was a on-the-go task to be sorted with out prior anticipation due to lack of information on the closing procedures. coyotes and squirrels roam ...

Unfortunately I'm a furniture maker so workmanship and overall quality are very visible to me. Here's what I got for $800K: No handles on cabinetry, flat paint or primer used only, No soft close hinges or drawer guides, one hose bib and a front yard that was supposedly "carefully" designed and looks cheap as heck. Amazing that I'm looking for painters to redo the interior.

Overall just OK in our opinion. SO MANY layers of people involved in this purchase. We never knew who was doing what or when. Not sure Lennar did either for that matter. Still have things to complete that were told would be done. It appears that they are in a big hurry to get out of this development and on to the next, so we’re getting short changed. Hope that isn’t the case!

The home provides good value for the price paid. The person I had for warranty issues did a GOOD job. However, other owners have had difficulty getting other point persons for warranty issues such as serious electrical issues to respond at all. The HOA, which is in charge of community concerns such as irrigation for new plantings, is close to unreachable. No phone calls to the HOA are answered: they go directly to voicemail. Phone calls are often left unreturned. It takes close to a month to get the HOA to approve or disapprove of home improvement plans such as having your lanai screened. ...

I feel that our home was rushed to make a closing date. The sod was not yet rooted. In comparison to the rest of the homes in the neighborhood there were very few shrubs planted. The tree in the front will probably have to be replaced. There are door hinges that don’t appear to be properly installed and so on.
