Great process until follow ups. Follow up work is terrible. Great sales and financial group. The building manager is a super nice guy but the contractors used do poor work and are filled with excuses.

Our house was not ready at closing. However, Lennar came back to fix the issues they promised. It just took a few follow ups. Happy with the end result.

Beautiful home but some cut corners

There have been a decent amount of issues that we have had since moving in, especially with appliances. There are things we have noted around the home that are done cheaply for the price and size of the home.

Overall my house is nice. There are things that were shown and discussed that were changed or excluded by Lennar that I was not happy about. But once you are in the process, its hard to walk away.

Overall it has not been a bad experience but there have been things that have not been what I expected of buying a new home. For example I don't know how to handle my sprinkler system and I have asked a couple of times and no response to that. A couple of other things and all the responses have been not covered by warranty and that's it. I believe when you buy a brand new home, you should get help and things should be taken care of. My requests have not been big or unreasonable.

I ran into issues but it wasn’t anything to drastic that would warrant a bad review. I do however think they rushed a lot of the jobs in my house like the paint, rug, cement in the garage, doors have defects, placement of the sprinklers were off, ceiling fans were missing, tried to charge 7k-9k for a fence that cost me 1700, st Augustine grass had an infection soon after moving in, which wasn’t covered under warranty . The second realtor for Lennar homes was amazing. My score would be higher if I had started with her. First impressions are everything. The first Lennar Realtor kept playing games with us and not being honest. I finally went to the head person over this area and was assigned to a realtor who would answer my questions. We love our home and very happy with it.

We were doing a 1031 exchange which amounted to 80% of the value of our condo but we were asked for so many documents that was just way too time consuming to submit, especially getting records for 8 different businesses. We were obviously qualified but they kept on asking for more and on the 11th hour we decided to pay the balance in cash. Fortunately, we had the funds, but what about others that are being harassed because the decision maker sitting behind the desk does not have any common sense at all?.

I hesitated to write this review. I wanted to make sure I will give a right one. We moved to the house five weeks ago. Right from the beginning we had to replace the MB countertop because it was broken. That was done very quickly. We had few more minor items to be corrected and that was taken care of as well. The challenge was with the bigger items. Our dishwasher was not installed properly and it was leaking…. After I bought the home and had issues and questions, I both called and texted my sales agent several times and no response from her. It seems like after they sell you the home they don’t respond to you anymore. On the other hand, Shawn in the customer care department has been wonderful and has responded to issues promptly.

Whenever we had a question/comment the person we were talking to had to pass info to someone else for response seemingly just passing us off. The consierge was response but didn’t directly answer anything. Similarly the salesman, CM, & inspection staff only had one responsibility. Although all issues were addressed it was very frustrating. After the close communication was lacking. Multiple messages on the portal and no responses. Called directly as was directed to a supervisor, rhat just went to an answering system. Human contact is difficult person to person. Electronic contact breaks down when people are no longer with the company and the client is not aware.

Probably from the beginning working with the sales rep that did the application process with me. After we finish the transaction, the next day switched properties and I could never get a hold of him again it was a terrible experience on his part. The home had a lot of issues and I had to get an inspection twice because they weren’t all completed on the first go round so it cost me double to get it inspected. Overall I'm grateful and pleased that Lennar worked with me to buy our family home. However the mortgage qualification process did not go well. Way too many people involved who did not talk to each other. This buyer had a huge down payment, no debts and a high credit score, After two months with still no resolution, the Buyers agent had to request that the mortgage and title managers to step in. After they stepped in, it took two days for the mortgage to be approved. Thankful for their help.

I absolutely love the house. However, the quality is lacking. You have no idea how NOT sound proof it is until you move in and hear every conversation from any room in the house. The paint I am cleaning up off the floors, showers, holes in walls, shotty paint job - all things you don’t have the chance to find during a short walk thru, from 6 feet away (if you can’t see it from 6 feet, they won’t fix it). The upgrade choices were limited. Follow up on issues up after closing has been good. Again, I do love the house there are just things I wish could have been different and better

I do not regret buying from Lennar, but the process was rough. First of all, the price is not the price. There is a builder's fee you pay at closing. Secondly, while the guy who headed up the building process is awesome and has been very responsive, and while there are some nice features in the quality of the materials they used, there are also some weird cost saving things that they do, like putting studs on 24" centers if they are internal and non load bearing. Also, the flooring seems very substantial but it is sheeting and not planks, which of course means if it gets damaged, the whole ...

Let me start but saying I love my house and location! The sales agent was great and very friendly! The mortgage side is 10 out of 10! Very easy, responsive and very nice. The construction team is horrible. Late to every meeting if they showed up at all. Didn’t fix all the items on my pre closing walk. It was cosmetic but still wasn’t fixed. Our buying experience started great, we were very excited to get approved for the home. The home-buying process started great and then continued to go downhill.
