We have had a terrible time with our whole building process. We were lied to from day one about what we could choose, lied to about availability of items, gas lit for every explanation, and the entire construction team has been condescending and belligerent. We have had to go all the way to the VP for every issue in order to actually get it addressed. The quality of workmanship and craftmanship is abhorrent. The amount of items that Lennar tries to pass off as "normal" or "good", that are actually sub par, barely to code, not to code, not straight, and downright poorly fabricated is ridiculous. This should have been a fun experience and it has been one of the most stressful times of our lives. For the price we paid for this house, we should have received superior service and quality. For how Lennar prides themselves on everything's included and quality work, they are not including everything and the work is sloppy, at best. Terrible experience!!! The Lennar Team had terrible communication. My closing was pushed back several time. On closing day there was still a number of items not completed. From front office, to construction, to warranty. This Lennar Team here is TERRIBLE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE HOUSE.

The reasons for low review score is as follows. I had to point out that my shutters were not put on. They tried to tell me that my house didn't come with them on that window. Fence work is not good at all, huge gaps under fence. Had to ask to have a 2x4 removed from roof then they didn't even clean up debris when removed. They tell me they are working on garage issue but nothing is ever done. I had to go to post office to get mail delivery issue fixed myself. I'm finding lumps under carpet where either it's a nail or floor was cleaned properly before installation. I do not see any oversight happening on craftsmanship from a job supper or anything like that here at all. I expected better for price payed. ... More

The purchase process was overall smooth. But there were a lot of issues in the house that had to be resolved. Considering that the last walkthrough was a day before our move-in day, we decided to ignore many marked touch-ups that we had requested and yet were still not fixed. Upon move-in though, we started to face many more bugging issues, such as a randomly opening garage door due to faulty switch circuit, smart frontdoor lock that was failing to pair due to faulty installation, broken patio screen upon installation, broken parts all over the place, pest infections that were in place from day one, ... Over time, the contractors have been in and out and have been able to resolve most of the issues. But considering the headaches of move-in, it is too much to handle so many construction failures at the same time. ... More

I chose a base model house and consider myself a DIY person . So I made quite a few upgrades myself. The guys at Lennar are helpful and reply fast to issues found.

Several items were pending by the time I signed, they promised that they will take care of those items pretty quick. Since then I haven't hear from them at all and I have been living here for 2 months now. I guess I will have to submit all those as warranty problems. Very Unhappy.

Builder still hasn’t repaired a few things in my home. Also, it’s difficult to get customer care to respond.

Our new home certainly wasn’t ready to close on closing the date, but we we’re forced to close anyway to avoid penalties. Most of the issues were looked after eventually, but here we are 5 months later and we’re still missing cabinets. Ever day I shake my head at our situation. I am a new home owner in Autumn Vista community. Closed home in July 2022. First construction was delayed by 1 month. Next, home orientation date wasn’t flexible at all. We had to take online orientation where we missed several things to inspect like there was a chip in the flooring, the main door won’t lock without a struggle. Lennar just fixed the flooring and no date on when they will fix the main door. The promised AC unit wasn’t provided still as I write this review. What sucks is that the homes that closed a month later are getting the AC units now. When I call, their response is very vague. Worst experience. ... More

We found Lennar to be honest, informative, efficient, and quick to respond to all aspects of the interest and selling process. Every individual we dealt with was kind and process. Could not be happier!

House quality and workmanship is acceptable for this kind of budget houses, but the financial and title teams sucks. Even though there was plenty of time to get ready for the closing day, as the house was being constructed, they were still asking for info to get the loan just around a week before the closing. Consequently the closing final amount keep changing up to the day of closing creating some unexpected hassles that day. Very disappointing feeling for a well known company as Lennar.

Everything was delayed. The quality is pathetic. The responsiveness of the team is so below par. Overall I would not recommend Lennar at all.

My experience was good, until the lack of construction keys control resulted in a Burglary of my new house. Caution, upon closing ensure your keys are recalibrated to cancel all others. Our entire experience from start to finish was stress free. Everyone involved was great. The builder's team responded to minor issues in a timely manner. If you're looking for a well built quality home look no further than Lennar.

The quality of the home is good with all the ring devices installed, everything included saves me time and money in choosing upgrades.

Lennar delayed the building because of the elevator. Well that delay caused a net increase on my Mortgage interest rate of over 2 points. Which is a lot. Lennar didn’t care. Lennar also cost me another $35k by playing games at closing and tried to delay me again and cost me even more.

Purchasing a new home from Lennar was a very easy experience. My new home is beautiful. Once I moved into my new house, I found so many problems. I have had light fixtures falling out on the ceiling, the paint on the doors coming off, a cabinet door falling off, and many other problems. I do have to give Lennar credit for addressing these problems. If you have a problem, you report it to Lennar through a website. It is like filling out a ticket for your problem. You then schedule a virtual visit. Then the problem is addressed. Yes, this is a way to track the problems you have but it is a tedious process. Lennar does fix the problems but it takes so much time to get them fixed. I wish I could just report it to my Lennar consultant and let them handle it. Communication from Lennar about my closing date and move-in date was horrible. Statements and representations made by Lennar, as well as information contained in official documents memorializing my home purchase were inconsistent from the eventual closing date provided to me. There was no transparency. I was only given 7 days advanced notice that my closing date had changed. As a result of this last minute change, I had to make additional lodging arrangements for my son and I, in order to account for the additional time we would be without a place to stay/sleep. Improved communication and transparency from Lennar’s representatives regarding the closing date could have prevented the matter from being as stressful as it happened. My new homeowner walk through could have also been better planned. Upon arrival for the walk-through, I was informed by a Lennar construction staff member that the Construction Manager had called out sick, and that my appointment was moved. Prior to my arrival for my walk through, I had received no email or phone call about rescheduling from Lennar. During my walk through, I was not provided any formal document to record any of the items needing repair, etc. Following my new homeowner walk through, I sent an email to Lennar with a number of items that I requested be repaired or replaced in my home, prior to the closing of the home purchase. Amongst those items was the replacement of the washing machine, which my own home inspector noted was inoperable, and had significant cosmetic damage. When my final walk through took place, I found out the washing machine had not been replaced, and the defective unit still remained in my home. When I asked the construction manager how long I would have to wait for this machine to be replaced, he could not give me a definite answer. Even more frustrating was the fact that this issue was made known to Lennar shortly after my new homeowner walkthrough, and no action on Lennar’s part was undertaken to fix this issue until the final walk through took place. The new washer was not delivered and installed until a week later. What was even more disturbing was the fact that the construction manager had suggested to me to use the washer of an unoccupied townhome until my replacement arrived. I do not know where such a solution would be seen as acceptable business practice. The Lennar Mortgage Team was one of the better parts of Lennar that I worked with; however, one mishap with them was the final closing disclosure and the final amount of cash to close I needed to wire to Lennar was inconsistent. Two days prior to my closing date the loan officer contacted me about the amount that I needed to wire to the Title Office for my closing. After I had initiated my wire transfer, called me again, saying that he prematurely informed me about the proper amount to wire to the Title Office. Having to provide a provide Lennar a personal check for the difference, added inconvenience to an already horrible home buying experience with Lennar. The actual closing appointment at the Title Office was horrible. Upon arrival, I was kept waiting because all of the rooms used for the signing of the closing documents were taken. When the time came for me to sign my papers, it was not as celebratory for me as it was for other customers also present at the office. I heard cheers from some of the other occupied rooms, and I even saw someone deliver a welcome basket. I also noticed photo props that were available for a photo taking, which were not offered to me, nor was the opportunity to grab a photo even extended by the Title Team. Instead, once I signed my papers, I was handed my keys and ushered out, left with the feeling that my continued presence there would be wasting space for the next customer that particular team needed to service. I also found it disturbing that information about trash pick-up or recycling was not shared with me at the closing appointment, nor was a Welcome Packet about important information pertaining to my new community offered. I only came upon that information after reaching out to my sales consultant well after the closing appointment, and on my own initiative. Lastly, the Title Company did not immediately upload nor provide me with a signed copy of my closing documents. It was only after I had followed up with them that it became known that their team failed to provide me with that important information. ... More

Part of our floor was damaged and needs taken care of.Paint on doors and door frames wrong color-not fixed yet.Some drywall work needs to be done. touch up.Sliding doors need to be replaced.stove needs to be leveled.windows and screens need to be cleaned.Irrigation hasn’t been on in awhile.Might be more so I’ll have to look.Thank you.

Very happy with my purchase from Lennar great people to deal very helpful above my expectations

I have had problems with the landscaper and have absolutely no help getting the problem resolved! I had an agreement with Debbie from Double H as of 8/25 to install the rest of my sod for $525 when they finally got around to installing my sod that came with the home, which was already 3 weeks late. I emailed her on 9/9 to find out when the install was and she doesn’t reply until 9/12 at 8:26am and says they are installing that day but they are no longer installing for homeowners. Then she tried to use some excuse that it had to be paid 3 days in advance, which if I was told when it was going to be installed I would have been able to pay it in advance. I requested help from Lennar since it was their landscaper that went back on their word, but got nowhere and Debbie at Double H just kept hanging up on me. I feel very let down by Lennar knowing they could have done more. And I would definitely not recommend Double H Landscaping to anyone! I believe she went back on her word because I didn’t use them for my sprinkler system which they were $1000 more than who I got it from and they proceeded to break 4 sprinkler heads while installing my sod that they did put down!! Very poor customer service!! ... More

(1) The deadbolt on our back door worked intermittently for awhile, but doesn't work at all now (seven weeks after move-in). The front door works manually when forced, but the automatic locking fails. We can hear it trying, so it isn't the electronics. (2) The floors look weird in some spots. It is hard to explain. It looks as if something has spilled. All & all we are satisfied, but the deadbolt issue is a big deal.
