Overall process was great with our lender and the overall walkthroughs and check ins.. they were very knowledgeable. My only gripe is that some of the issues we’ve found in the home that a worker cut corners and wasn’t found during inspection because they have a really great inspection process. We have a light in our pantry that turns on during the day when you don’t need it.. and doesn’t turn on at night when you do. We have a small wall that is not straight and and not level leading into the entrance to mother in law suite. Overall I feel the price we paid we should have gotten better ...

Horrible experience with a few employees that did their job well. Initial walk through of the home showed build quality and finishing touches were mediocre with cracked shower fiberglass to deep scratched windows to paint drops on the kitchen floor to drawers scratched. Kristine took care of it professionally and quickly. We have lived in our house for a month and have multiple large cracks in our sheet rock where the ceiling meets the wall. The home is beautiful but the whole experience of buying was horrible

Not what I expected

Quality of workmanship is fair. Hollow parts in the upper floors, can’t do anything about it. Cabinets in the kitchen were supposed to be fixed before I moved in which was the first week of November. Nobody is coming until the second week of January. Crappy paint!!! Garage door was not installed properly, it was “customized” and I was told I couldn’t be fixed, but was recustomized by the garage company.

Poor Construction Quality

I had recently moved into my brand new house which is constructed by Lennar. I had that new feel for only few days. I started hearing creaking sounds almost everywhere with in 1 week of closing. There’s are cracks on the walls, air leaks and so on. Initially construction quality used to be good when I signed my contract. But now, I won’t recommend Lennar to anyone.

I had 2 homes built in OTOTW and 1 by Lannar. As a General8i r, bypass I saw poor workmanship and several months late to finish. The contract that had the sale price did not show about $10,000 extra that was not on that page even though we made no changes. This by far is the poorest quality I have seen. In Williamsburg Virginia Lannar turns out a very nice home, not like these Lannar homes.

We have purchased many homes through out the years. The condition of the home after we closed on it in terms of meeting county code was pathetic. Our water heater was not hooked up to the house so no hot water, there was no insulation in the attic which is another fire code, the wiring of the home was a fire code we found out as we hired our own electrician to fix our home which was 5k later. We have taken pictures of everything. We will be hiring an attorney and also calling the city to make record of their inspector who passed the home when it should not have. Hands down the most dreadful homebuying experience. I've lost years off my life with the stress and frustration of working with Lennar. 10x worse than a colonoscopy cleanout, and a root canal with no anesthesia being done at the same time. My house was barely completed, I was forced to close with a laundry list of issues, and I'm still chasing them down to fix things, having to take time off of work for items that should have been completed correctly in the first place. Closing was delayed three times. There's no coordination between the closing department and the sales/construction people. There are still a couple of outstanding issues from closing 6 weeks ago. The pool heater has never worked and it's a ridiculous length of time to get service.

Back Yard Mud Pit

We called out that there was water accumulation in the back yard that was not dissipating prior to purchase. It was listed as an exception to close. The water did dissipate some but not completely. This is a huge inconvenience as we have dogs and every time they go outside, when they return, the dogs muddy up the floor. During closing and after closing the Lennar Rep did make contact. We turned off the water sprinklers a week after we purchased house and the mud/water has remained, to this day. I will be contacting the rep after the holidays to see about getting this remediated. This is my 2nd & last Lennar home purchase. The quality of the workmanship was beyond horrible this time around and this home cost was $90k more than the 1st one. I've lived in apartments where the attention to the builders detail way surpassed the work of Lennar & their Trades. They do not care about attention to detail. The communication at Lennar Title is also horrible. My Realtor and I had to reach out numerous times to get a closing date and time. On closing day workers were still working on my home. Very BUMPY ride

In the beginning we had a few hiccups but everyone was available and supportive; however the bad experience started on the first day of the walk/ through when I was told it had to be done on a particular day and many things were not completed in the home. Since that day it has been an unpleasant experience. I finally realized no one cares once you’ve signed on the dotted line.

I am not a happy Lennar Customer! Too many issues to list here. It's exhausting. Poor communication, paid way too much for the quality of the home--materials, appliances, workmanship, quality or lack thereof, slapdash finishes, severely poor responsiveness, lack of integrity and more. All of this wears you down and leaves you angry and stuck.

I never like making a post unless I am asked. I am NOT happy with the quality of my home - unfortunately it was the best deal in town. For >460k I expect more, I hate the following: small garage, small streets, inadequate storage and parking, and horrible cell /Internet Verizon coverage. I've been living in my home for <90 days and I have huge cracks in the walls - can lights popping out. Signed House 4 Sale when the economy gets better.

Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

Sorry to say but..It was shocking when it came to our knowledge that their are no towel hangers in any of the restrooms and no light outlet above the bathing tub in one the rest room.. is these are all upgrades included in Lennar planning/construction I think these are basic needs to be provided in the new homes. I have seen so many Lennar constructions but never like these..there are so many cut offs in the upgrades..I think it’s better to give options to the customers rather than saying everything included at least we can have some choices. And more over there are no bar top counter lights ...
