Whoever put up the drywall on our home is terrible. Pop up nails everywhere. We can see the repairs on the ceiling. Bad cover up job.

The Quality of House is great, but when it is thrown together in minimal time it loses it's Luster. We're continuously finding major/minor defects. Crooked walls, creaking floors that seem as if not completely nailed down, sink stopper that won't stay connected... In the yard multiply holes and ridges from unsuitable rolling of the grass, regularly finding pieces of metal and rocks under the non growing grass. Lennar offers an all inclusive package with stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. While this package is convenient, and appliances are name brand, they are at the very low end of the product line. It's important to understand this because the appliances may prove to be impractical for some home owners. First, the stove has a gas operated oven which make cooking difficult. I bought a new home built by Lennar and moved in about 4 months ago. I previously owned an old home and this is my first brand new home purchase. The build quality is about averagefor a new home. The materials appear to be excellent; however, regardless of whether or not it's a new home, get yourself your own inspector--my guy found numerous items that should have been caught during normal QA by the builder. That being said, Lennar has been fairly responsive to my issues--almost all of which have been satisfied, which is greatly appreciated...timing aside. Ensure that you have someone clean-up after closing; Lennar told me this would happen after my closing but, based on my findings, it did not. Grant in the sales staff is great, very easy to work with and very communicative. Our move in experience was less than stellar, we had a 3 page list of stuff that needed to be fixed/replaced/addressed before we moved in in one week. 1/3rd of that list wasn’t completed and we were told it wasn’t a big deal. Every time we have had an issue, however, Chad has been immensely helpful and quick to respond and fix the issue. The framers did a very poor job and set everything behind. Multiple repairs were required to move to drywall. ”Leaner” was desperate for subs and the project manager was in over his head. Good guy, but he could not meet expectations and is no longer running jobs. We love our home, but we are now waiting for warrantee repairs requested months ago. We have had an overall good experience with the home after being in it for 6 months. If you buy, watch closely as any corner than can be cut, will be.

1st: The sales process is excellent. Lennar and the sales team kept us informed throughout the build. Always available to answer to question. Access to the home during the build is excellent. 2nd: The floorplan, pictures, and model representation may not be exactly what you get. Make sure you ask specific questions about what is and is not included in the home. Don’t assume because it is in the floorplans, pictures, and model it will be in your home. 3rd: Lennar does not offer much in the way of options. Our home is beautiful, but for the price we paid, for a brand new home, there have been a lot of problems. Most of these are due to trying to put up too many homes so quickly and lack of attention to detail.

Truthfully not happy with the workmanship on our new home. So many little things wrong that should have been fixed before we even did our final walkthrough. Doors with dents in them, the paint job was awful, it looks like a third grader built parts of the house. Shotty workmanship, Lennar will hire anyone to do the work. When you buy a brand new home you expect things to be NEW not already destroyed because workers are careless.

I have been following Triple crown community for past 1 year and see lot of changes between phase 1 and current phase . And I heard it’s a cost cut . There where several small yet important things which should have done while construction like no storage spaces in stand up , no upper cabinets in rest room. The toilets are so low, my privets drop in the water when I set down and it is very frustrating. They will have to be replaced. The glass shower leak in the master Bathroom. No need for three tubs in one house. Could use the room in the master bath for drawers. No drawers in the bathrooms. They laid several big areas of dead sod and will take a lot of water and time to bring back to life. Need more power plugs in the back of the house.

We have some concerns about our flooring. We had hard woods and had a major leak which required only replacement of a portion of the flooring. It was also installed without acclimation and air condition. The floor was installed for three weeks with no AC and the some areas are showing sigh Ed of swelling and expansion. The appliances specifically dish washer had various problems and Electrolux support is terrible.

Sales rep was super pushy and almost lost the sale. I had to fix several plumbing issues myself after moving in. Kitchen sink had no hot water. Also shower head in master was leaking. Turns out it was cross threaded and I had to replace shower arm. Interior was swarming with fire ants. Luckily an exterminator was available to come out the next day. I understand this is common but Lennar should hire an exterminator to prevent this even if they need to recommend continued service after sale. All the homes look the same after you have seen a few. Take your time to really go through the homes at your pace and don't feel the pressure of needing to make a decision before the end of the quarter when prices are sometimes reduced. Go for location over what the home has featured as built. You will update things on the inside over time, but you can not change the location.
