Hard problem I got communication with the staff

I should’ve walked away and lost the 750 .00

Landscaping issues are terrible on the yard

Quality of workmanship is barely passable

We purchased during a hot market and there was no flexibility with Lennar. They were also very sltow respond if you had questions. With that being said we are happy with the house we purchased with a few minor things we will have to fix.

Disappointed in the quality of of finishes for the amount of money charged for home.

The Lennar experience started very well. Alex as a salesman with Lennar as a lender seemed to be a match made in heaven. Alex continued as a helpful advocate, however, the lending process became a stressful and confusing process for no good reason. We remained loan worthy throughout the entire process and turned other lenders down, probably in error. The interior and exterior finish work was mediocre at best. The warranty staff came across a genuine until real work orders were submitted. I will not recommend Lennar as a builder or finance option to anyone. I appreciate there are challenges with material and labor shortages, so while we experienced these, I would not hold Lennar responsible for these. Also, the local people we worked with (sales manager, construction manager) were great! However, it was clear throughout the process that Lennar is a large corporation and the customer experience is not valued. During the selection process, many styles were unavailable, options were changed without notice, and for many selections, visuals were not available leaving us to make decisions based on descriptions. Additionally, it seems clear Lennar does not consider how the home or finishings will be used when deciding what to include in their homes. They could benefit a great deal by gathering feedback from homeowners about what works/doesn't or even considering up front how items will be used and considering ratings/reviews of included items. ... Casey, our sales rep was amazing and very attentive. If I was only grading him it would be perfect scores! At our orientation we were told that the person that usually does it wouldn’t be able to make due to COVID exposure. We understood that completely. So Mike (construction supervisor) did his best to fumble through the orientation. He told us that the other gentleman would schedule a follow-up in 30 days. That never happened. He also told us that they would replace a dented refrigerator door and that hasn’t happened. The workmanship on this home is below average. So many things that I couldn’t possibly list here. Also the are a lot of things that were poorly thought out by whoever designed the home. Don’t even get me started on all of the technology that we were never explained or shown how to operate. In his defense, Casey has tried to help with the tech training even though that’s not his job. Again, if not for Casey this would be. One star review. When you pay almost $450k for a new home you have certain expectations… those were not met here and it would be difficult for us to recommend Lennar as a builder. Not that none of this matters to Lennar since they are selling these houses as fast as they can build them. They’re getting their money so they apparently don’t care about the quality. Disappointed clean up and workmanship on new home. Way too many call backs on several areas of finishing of condo.

There is room for improvement

Our experience was very stressful and unpleasant. We are still waiting for return from Lennar for the a double trip for our inspector who could not get into the house do his part because the sales person did not provide access to the house as he promised. It was a total mess from the day we stepped into the model home utill the closing day.

Ask a lot of questions before signing a contract.

Options to choose the material and appliances was not available. Also once signed the contract at the very beginning we didn’t had chance to make even a single option even a day after signing the contract. Would have been good to see all the options ahead of time rather than during the contract signing

Would not recommend this builder. “Everything’s Included” is not entirely true. Also too much reliance on “technology” to handle everything - difficult to communicate face to face.

Unit wasn't ready and we were forced to pushed to close.

House was not ready. A lot of touch up would need to be done before Closing.

On time home delivery as promised at the time of contract sign.

The purchasing process was great. However once moved in, within days there were issues with appliances leaking, ants in the home, and difficulty getting issues resolved in a timely fashion.

Disappointed with the responsiveness of Lennar representatives when we had an issue. Many times we had to call over & over again during the initial process & after closing. Love the Townhouse, but some of your representatives need to be more customer oriented, especially the supervisor of the design center who never returned any of my calls.

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

While we love our home, there were several things that did not impress us with Lennar. The project management was average, at best. In construction and project management, you run into delays, that is part of the job. The handling of and working around delays was not executed to a level we expected. This forced them to rush through our home in the final month of construction. Towards the end of our construction period, we learned that Lennar's fiscal year ended on November 30th and there were a certain number of homes that had to be completed. Lennar put their interests in front of the buyer and proceeded to rush through the home. This put a terribly sour taste in our mouth. Items that we brought to their attention in the 2nd month of construction were now being addressed and when addressed, the craftsmanship was incredibly poor and had to be redone. A week out from closing, we had close to 20 items that needed to be addressed. You would think a week would be enough to complete this. Over that timespan, I saw crews at our home on only two of those days. A day before closing, there were still 7-8 items remaining. Half of those being major. When we moved in, the floors were covered in glue, there were rusty nails and razor blades (!) scattered all over our yard, screens were incredibly bowed, and sinks were filthy. At best, I can give Lennar 3/5 stars. We paid close to a half million dollars for our home and for that price, I expected better craftmanship and project management. Luckily, their warranty process has been responsive, but our home has felt like a construction zone for the first month, as we have one or two people in here per week fixing and correcting things that should've been completed prior to closing. ... Throughout my experience, the communications between the On-Site Realtor and my Realtor and Lender broke down significantly. When we tried to bring Barron’s Manager into the loop, she also did not respond to my call or my Realtor’s call. The straw that broke the camel’s back happened when I showed up the morning of my closing for the final walk- through and Darin, the construction manager asked did I get a call from Baron the on-site agent. I had not received a call and could tell that I wasn’t closing that day, Lennar had to dig another trench for rain water runoff. Baron knew this the night before. I understand nothing goes totally smooth, but had I have known the night before, I would had rescheduled the movers for my actual closing date. Due to the lack of communication, we had to pay for a month of storage and bring in another moving company to move our items into our Braemore home. Darin the construction manager and Hunter the customer service agent were great. I probably could have let things go without sending this response had Baron just called me to tell me our closing would be rescheduled, but instead, I waisted money. ... More

The houses are built quickly. The 8’ wood doors and 10’ ceilings are very nice. The trim is wide with an updated look. The house has lots of quality windows with windowsills. Lennar kitchens are roomy with a big islands and lots of counter space. The downside of Lennar homes is the drywall finishing and painting in certain areas. Quality paint is not used and some areas need repainting.

The workmanship and materials are sub par. For a new home, many follow up repairs are needed, which is ridiculous.
