We purchased during a hot market and there was no flexibility with Lennar. They were also very sltow respond if you had questions. With that being said we are happy with the house we purchased with a few minor things we will have to fix.

The Lennar experience started very well. Alex as a salesman with Lennar as a lender seemed to be a match made in heaven. Alex continued as a helpful advocate, however, the lending process became a stressful and confusing process for no good reason. We remained loan worthy throughout the entire process and turned other lenders down, probably in error. The interior and exterior finish work was mediocre at best. I appreciate there are challenges with material and labor shortages, so while we experienced these, I would not hold Lennar responsible for these. Also, the local people we worked with (sales manager, construction manager) were great! However, it was clear throughout the process that Lennar is a large corporation and the customer experience is not valued. During the selection process, many styles were unavailable, options were changed without notice, and for many selections, visuals were not available leaving us to make decisions based on descriptions. Casey, our sales rep was amazing and very attentive. If I was only grading him it would be perfect scores! At our orientation we were told that the person that usually does it wouldn’t be able to make due to COVID exposure. We understood that completely. So Mike (construction supervisor) did his best to fumble through the orientation. He told us that the other gentleman would schedule a follow-up in 30 days. That never happened. Our experience was very stressful and unpleasant. We are still waiting for return from Lennar for the a double trip for our inspector who could not get into the house do his part because the sales person did not provide access to the house as he promised. It was a total mess from the day we stepped into the model home utill the closing day.

Also once signed the contract at the very beginning we didn’t had chance to make even a single option even a day after signing the contract. Would have been good to see all the options ahead of time rather than during the contract signing

Would not recommend this builder. “Everything’s Included” is not entirely true. Also too much reliance on “technology” to handle everything - difficult to communicate face to face.

2 out of 3 sale Representatives we're accommodating, the first older woman we spoke to tried to convince us to look somewhere else. She judged us by our looks on her first impression without knowing if we qualified. We ended up buying it cash.

Disappointed with the responsiveness of Lennar representatives when we had an issue. Many times we had to call over & over again during the initial process & after closing. Love the Townhouse, but some of your representatives need to be more customer oriented, especially the supervisor of the design center who never returned any of my calls.

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

While we love our home, there were several things that did not impress us with Lennar. The project management was average, at best. In construction and project management, you run into delays, that is part of the job. The handling of and working around delays was not executed to a level we expected. This forced them to rush through our home in the final month of construction. Towards the end of our construction period, we learned that Lennar's fiscal year ended on November 30th and there were a certain number of homes that had to be completed. Throughout my experience, the communications between the On-Site Realtor and my Realtor and Lender broke down significantly. When we tried to bring Barron’s Manager into the loop, she also did not respond to my call or my Realtor’s call. The straw that broke the camel’s back happened when I showed up the morning of my closing for the final walk- through and Darin, the construction manager asked did I get a call from Baron the on-site agent. The houses are built quickly. The 8’ wood doors and 10’ ceilings are very nice. The trim is wide with an updated look. The house has lots of quality windows with windowsills. Lennar kitchens are roomy with a big islands and lots of counter space. The downside of Lennar homes is the drywall finishing and painting in certain areas. Quality paint is not used and some areas need repainting.

The workmanship and materials are sub par. For a new home, many follow up repairs are needed, which is ridiculous.
