The workmanship ,details final finish in out was very sloppy. Have someone inspect the work while in process and be more detail oriented.

Good with quality and delivery of building

We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.

Lennar is a big company and will push you around if you let them. Don’t let them. Workmanship is ok, it’s goibg to depend on the contractors they hire. Just make sure you keep track of things and don’t let them get away with poor workmanship. Full disclosure: Our house was prebuilt so we didn’t get that chance and your mileage may vary.

So far I have really enjoyed living in McQueen Landing. The homes are very nice and the sales and construction staff are friendly. I am glad I moved to this community and I look forward to living here!

The workmanship of the home could be better. The home is settling really quickly, showing some work that could've been done better. There are no walk-out basements which was not disclosed and no porch or patio out back which also was not disclosed. There is water pouring outside the back of the home constantly and I don't know why. This "new" stuff is not all that great.

The home we bought from Lennar is perfect for us to downsize into. The floor plan is perfect for empty nesters. Lennar did provide a lot of extras for the price of the house. For the most part Lennar has responded to issues we have. One area that we have been ignored on is the grading in the back of the house. I feel there is a low area that needs attention but have not been able to get them to respond even after sending pictures of ponding. Nail popping on the walls is not considered a warranty item. I do wish builders would use screws to install sheetrock inside the house to avoid the issue of nails popping out in the walls. I believe most builders take the same approach. They will build you a nice house, just make sure you get everything in writing and even then be prepared to either wait or have to go back and forth about it. They don't always do what they say they will do. I would avoid closing on a house in the winter as all the spring things they say they will comeback and do have not happened. And finally, I would suggest you just get the full sod package because if you don't you will regret what they do instead.

House is made of goof products but Lennar tends to rush some of the construction in which now warranty has to get involved and that is a never winning battle. Overall the house is good, the grading is bad, but we are happy overall.

Sales team was very helpful.

The sales person was great. We decided on Lennar due to the warranty which we unfortunately had to use within the first month. All of the Lennar reps are great and professional. However, I would have preferred waiting another few weeks and had things installed properly. Our issues were with faulty installation (master bath bathtub, garage door and drywall) and could have been prevented with just a few double checks. The warranty department at Lennar assisted us with fixing the master tub issue, which meant weeks of workers in and out of our new house. They denied our claim on the garage door despite it being a clear installation issue. This problem cost us hundreds of dollars. All of that said, I love the house and the location. The HOA is not pleasant to deal with. We immediately upon move in filled out the application to install a 6' white vinyl fence that falls within HOA guidelines. We paid the $500 "completion deposit" and have not received a response from the HOA on whether we can start this project, despite following the rules and procedures and communication from us. They have had the completed application and deposit for weeks(they received our $500 two months ago and wrote to us that our application was complete three weeks ago). It specifically says we have to be approved to proceed or we will receive fines from them. This is really an unprofessional and least customer friendly way to process homeowners putting HOA approved fencing on their own property. If the application process takes months what is the point of the "completion deposit"? Isn't that deposit to ensure we install things according to HOA guidelines? Or is it a scam to hold money that is not the HOA's? At this point we are looking into legal recourse. I advise any future prospective homeowners to research all builders in the area. There are many others without these issues (warranty and HOA with Lennar) that seem to be repetitive with other buyers. ... More

The financial process was the only part that I will commend. The construction manager interaction is a very definite no. Too many excuses with no solutions. It took me verbalizing that I was not married to the house and could walk away before my concerns were taken seriously. I enjoy the home and it meets my needs. I cannot in good conscience recommend Lennar.

The overall experience was great, however your sales person Paul did not follow through on any promises. After 4 emails, several calls and texts I finally gave up. Horrible customer service.

Property Damage: Lennar Refuses to Pay for the Full Extent of the Damages

I’m very happy with my house and where we are in the neighborhood, however, the HOA is non existent and something needs to be done about it.

The homes are presented wonderfully. However, after living here for a month, we noticed the Chatmanship is mediocre. The AC vents are loud, various portions of the house that are tucked away are missing paint, plumbing is mislabeled, electrical breaker keeps tripping, among other things.

There are a few things that county codes were not onserved

The quality of the appliance’s is terrible the cheapest on the market at least offer a upgrade??the finish work of the condo is not acceptable. Cement stains on the tile defects in the windows that should have never been allowed. No one is doing a good inspection to many issues with appliances issues with AC air handler issue’s with garage door opener and on and on Sloppy work and not a proper inspection by Lennar look up my calls to the warranty people .as a licensed Realtor I would have issues bringing my clients to a Lennar community. It’s way to much about making a good profit and leaving the customer to fend for themselves. Slow down hire better subs and don’t pay them u til all their work is accepted. Finally you collect $1000 Lennar fee for what ?? Use that money to hire a good inspection company I don’t like to complain but this is deserving. ... More

House is just ok. Builds cheap material and finish work is not that great. Final inspection finds weren’t fixed and never really were for a new house but that is Lennar’s standard on their builds. Our common area was all done and Lennar drives their construction trucks to drop off new material for new home building community next door tearing up the grass and making a mess.

Our experience with Lennar has been mixed. The buying process went smoothly, communication was good, and the home was finished on time. Overall, the purchase experience was positive and the quality of the home appears solid so far. After moving in, we noticed a few issues. There are some grading concerns around the property that we will be requesting to have addressed. These seem fixable, but based on our experience so far, I am not very confident in how they will be handled. The biggest frustration has been with the appliances. Within the first few weeks, we discovered that one appliance already had a known issue and an open case with Samsung before we even took possession. We were never informed of this ahead of time. We then ran into another appliance issue shortly after moving in. For a brand new home, this was very disappointing and time consuming to deal with. The Lennar warranty representative, Harold, was also not helpful. I raised concerns about having multiple appliance issues so soon after move in and did not receive a response addressing those concerns. That lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating. We expected everything to be fully functional in a new construction home. While the buying experience was good and the home appears well built, the early warranty experience has lowered our confidence. To spend 617k on a house and then have to go out and buy towel, toilet paper holders, under cabinet lighting, and ceiling fans. Not to mention all the other items that need to move into a new home.

Lots of issues that the CM could have caught before final walkthrough. Planting dead trees in the backyard and tried to convince us it is alive and well. Poor painting, lazy finish. Contractors parking all over streets. Garbage left behind daily from contractors. Rude follow up when needed repairs or assistance. Overall I’d never buy with Lennar again after this experience. It was extremely stressful after closing and it just didn’t need to be.

Be prepared to get a garage door motor opener . No screens in any windows. No blinds in any windows. No gutter around the house.

Definitely builder grade, but the layouts are conducive to family living of today. Price is too high for what you get, but so is everything else these days
