If I had to do it over again I would not buy a lennar home. After moving in There were many things the Builder overlooked. For instance, The builder over looked many times. After closing now going on are Third month still waiting on windows to be replaced above the garage. That the builder knew was wrong. Just one of the things that were not right.

This review is after 8 weeks of closing. Price is for the Lennar brand and I don't feel it's worth it. Pros: House Plans, Community, Location, decent customer service team Cons: Subpar Workmanship & Quality during the construction process. Poor finishing of concrete on the front porch and screened porch. Hole in the driveway exposing clay within a month of moving. Poor quality of LVP causing chips/dents. The dishwasher broke on 2nd week. Inadequate disclosure during sales by the sales agent and the agent goes AWOL after the purchase. Uneven flooring causes wide gaps between the floor ...

Great home - Sloppy work

The overall process was relatively smooth and pleasant. The sales team was very responsive and answered questions quickly, and once the closing was set, things moved very efficiently. Very disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and overall shoddy work in the finish of the home. All of the touch up was very poorly done. Globs of touch up left on door frames without being smoothed/sanded. When the house was shown on the "new home orientation," it was not very presentable. The cleaners did next to nothing to clean. There was paint on the floors that weren't cleaned up, nails left in the ...

The workmanship is great..but there are things you’re going to have to do yourself. Like seal the flooring and counters. They don’t do that. Communication between departments is horrible. Never received the last cleaning before move in. Lawn wasn’t mowed. They don’t line the flower beds so weeds are in them in no time. I had a service call and then they put my house on a second one. I emailed and let them know I didn’t place a second call…..crickets. Just spam me with docuSign. HOA wasn’t even informed of my move in. They didn’t provide me with any final documentation that I signed. ...

Our new home consultant was fabulous. Our loan folks were helpful and on top of things. Our issues started with the walk through and the builder. We did our first walk through a week before our closing date to make sure that items were addressed prior to closing. With our final walk through, nothing was addressed from the the week prior. So when we closed and moved in, we had people coming in an out to do work. The lady who did our walk through and orientation disappeared on us after telling us she would in touch to help get our issues resolved. We finally had someone new assigned to help ...

New Home Purchase

The home was what we were looking for. The sales team was great for the most part, had to reach out for confirmation a few times, no biggie everything was worked out. The workmanship of the home is not that good, noticing quite a few defects on the walls, ceiling, door frames and doors. Lots of over spray from paint left on the floor. Should have been more observant, but we were so excited about new home purchase. Some issues were turned in and responsiveness was good. First time work was done on one issue they had to return as work was not up to par.

They were increasing prices by the day creating artificial pressure to purchase home very fast. The lennar mortgage, title and closing teams were efficient. Not impressed with build quality though. Even visually you can tell that the material used is of cheaper quality and workmanship is average.

Only problems the walls are supper hollow thin you can hear my daughter take a shower while iam in my bedroom or any parts of my home. I can hear her talk or of iam standing outside I can hear. And also my washer and dryer throws the switch every single time a wash and dry I checked tge wires like I was told and they are current. I had my who inspected he even said the wrong outlet thing was wrong and it will throw the breaker but the older guy works with LENNAR said it will not soon as I moved in started using the appliance it throws the breaker every single time. Choosing upgrades with Lennar is a joke. For example floor upgrading means paying extra for having tile for areas where make sense to have tile, but Lennar standard is carpet. The interior designer who works with Lennar in my case have not finished installing my window shutters at the time that I'm writing this review (moved in 3 months ago). The quality of the shutters is low since they usually ordered from Mexico to reduce the cost. They have a contract with a local shutter provider which are not responsive to any emails and phone calls. They already send the installer twice with ...

Well, for what I paid, the quality of materials and attention to detail is pretty mediocre. Things are crooked, painting is incomplete, the seams of the drywall where were they taped is coming through, there was little thought given when it comes to the practicality of the design, specifically in the master bathroom but in other areas of the home as well. Yes, I can send in requests for the first year to fix some of the issues but some of them aren't worth the headache, so I'll deal with it. I realize I am being petty on some of this, but for 2 million dollars, I had higher expectations. No ...

Home seems well built. Needs to work on the details

We moved into our home a month ago. House seems well built but Lennar fails in the attention to detail to make the experience great. My home was given to me with overgrown lawn, many issues found before closing were fixed well beyond instead of before as promised. Devices in the home had no instructions as boxes were thrown away, documents we needed to set up smart devices. Customer services tends to behave as if they’re doing you a favor by fixing things that should’ve been working to begin with. No complaints about the house itself but the treatment and attention to detail has room to grow.

Experience with Lennar, Tampa

As a realtor in another state, I was surprised with the quality of Lennar here in Tampa. We expected much more than what we received. Comparing the quality and finishing of new homes in Houston and Orlando, the quality and attention to details here are far away from the standard of Lennar in those areas. New in town, we decided to give it a try to Lennar instead of DR Horton (our previous home was DR Horton) and wasn't impressed at all. House is spacious and comfortable with great layout, but the quality of materials and finishing are cheap. Attention to details and finishing of the house is ...

Though we like our new home and neighbors, we live in a major construction area with dozens of Lennar homes in various stages of construction. We knew at time of purchase that there would be 4-5 months of additional construction, but we had no idea that street in front of our home would serve as a staging area for various parts of the building process w. the accompanying dangerous construction traffic, diesel fumes, noise, placement of materials, equipment, landscaping gravel, etc. all right in front of our house with little concern about the effects on residents living there. Had we known ...

Our experience was fine. Our sales rep started out really accessible and helpful but became impossible to reach as time went on and as he became tired of our outreach. The home is what it is, but we had no illusions. Most of it is fine, although we wish we had been able to make personalizations (would have been happy to have paid for them) for our new construction home… especially since it took longer to finish than initially planned. We’ve found a lot of places where the builder tried to save money and where subcontractors cut covers, but we expected that. We also have reason to believe that ...

The landscaping was started later even after the weather was clear and sunny Landscaping put less flowers into our yard than the house across my house 2311 southwind. The only plausible justification is to appease new homeowners and not listen to the current homeowners. Lastly, I have been told “you don’t know if the lawn is getting water by seeing it dry since it was installed”. Landscapping missed putting the additional Sprinklers and you can see with your naked eyes that entire patch of lawn is dry Please put more consistent flowers like the house across 2311 southwind and put an ...

I was excited about my home purchase with Lennar, however I became locked into a solar lease contract despite signing documents to purchase the solar system from Sunnova. I have sent numerous emails and text messages trying to get the issue sorted out and no one from Lennar sales or Lennar mortgage has reached out to me with a response to hear my concerns about this very expensive oversight in my paperwork. For the price I paid for this home I am bummed out about the aftercare customer service I’ve received. If anyone from Lennar is reading this I’d hope to receive a reply. Thank you.

The loan officer I worked with was great, and his assistant was a problem. Others on the mortgage team were good too. Many of the fixtures in the house are of very poor quality: toilets, faucets, etc. The stairs into the attic are a REAL PROBLEM. You have to get 10 feet up on a ladder to even reach the attic ladder, and then you have to pull so hard that falling is a real danger.

Overall experience with the purchase was not that bad actually was pretty good. There was lotta issues with equipment, including air-conditioning, washer, dryer, finishes and not working lights. It took a long time to get everything fixed although the air condition was pretty fast through Bayonet Plumbing, our air condition actually broke three times in one week. We had to get a new washer and because Lennar gives pretty basic appliances. We just had to upgrade to a front loader, which I think should be no-brainer to be included in the purchase as top loaders is just the stuff from the past. ...
