My home buying experience was not pleasant. From the start representatives tried to force me to use Lennar financing and threatened that I could lose my deposit if I went with another lender. From there it got worse. My closings date was chosen by Lennar and it did seem like there was any coordination with the construction side. A week before closing I have my orientation and the electrical had not been tested so there were no lights or AC and the water had not been tested with we could do a proper walkthrough. The day before closing I spoke with a representative from the construction side and they told me the home wasn’t even 90% done yet. On my original closing date I arrived at the home to do a final walkthrough and there were holes cut out of my pantry wall because my water heater was leaking. The stove top was missing and my oven/ microwave was sitting on the floor. To make it worse. The plumber realized the fixtures on the bathtub were reversed. Since there is no way to access them he had to cut a hole in the dining room ceiling to access the supply lines. After that was fixed the turned the water on and water came gushing out of the ceiling. At this point the construction rep called his boss to look at the situation. I them received a call from the sales representative stating that they will give me $6500 towards my closing cost if I closed on that day but I wouldn’t be able to move in for 2 weeks. I replied that I would close only if they paid all closing cost at this point. They declined. The started the remediation to make sure no mold or water damage was evident. They had heaters and blowers on 24/7 for at least 4 days. I notified the sales representative that the electricity was switched over to my name 48 hours prior to closing as per the letter Lennar sent listing things that needed to be done prior to the closing date. The sales representative replied “ why did you do that. You haven’t closed yet”. So I send her a copy of the check list they sent me. Again they declined to do anything about it. I was stuck paying the electricity bill for the month that it took for them to get the house ready for the 2nd closing date. 2 days prior to the second closing date we did a final walk through and notated what needed to be fixed and today over a month and a half later I still have things that need fixing. ... The only issue I had was with submitting my Closing Costs. I used the directions provided to me and both times my wire was returned to me. I lost my wire processing fee of $30.00 and an additional $45.00 twice when the funds were returned to my Bank Account. I found it frustrating that I did what was asked and it cost me a lot of money.

My overall experience with the company was beyond subpar. Once I signed the contract documents the entire process went downhill. From having several delays relating to everything from permits, building materials, inspections, etc… to the lack of transparency while providing updates. I always had to escalate the situation to find out simple answers. Once I switched lenders the mediocre service I did receive stopped also. I am still trying to have paint issues address that were denoted prior to closing. This was 19+ months of my life I could have done without.

My first morning in the house I took a shower and it didn’t drain. They cut a hole in the ceiling over my kitchen sink to clear the drain it took 3 weeks to get patched. The front door, you could see light and feel air coming thru. It was worked on and 2 weeks later I can see light again. It looks like the door is bowed. Things identify in the walk thru didn’t get fixed. I’m a skilled tradesmen I can fix these things, but with a bran new home I didn’t expect to have to.

I'm gonna be honest I love our home! It's a great location and something my wife and I are proud of! However the issues we need fixed still haven't been resolved. We had a call with the customer care person and she sent all the issues to the rep so he can schedule the trades to come in. We haven't heard anything from them. Responsiveness is severely lacking at willow bend. It seems like they are more interested in seeing how many they can get done this week and forgetting about their clients who have already purchased the property. Being told put it on the 30 day and then to hear nothing from them is disrespectful. We take pride in our home however that is not the same from Lennar. Its clear the priority is to finish rather than the quality of work. We are still missing things from closing but it's ok because Delano has it. I think we were told that 10 times since we purchase the property 2 months ago ... More

Buying with Karen at Lennar was a breeze. She made it an easy process. We have had a few issues since then and let’s just say we have felt the same respect that we had with Karen. You lost a good one

This is my 2nd Lennar home and the process was just like the 1st one, outstanding.

The Mortgage and Loan Dept were amazing and an easy process, thank you for this. After purchasing the model though. Different story, we have had many issues in the home, no one responds because it is the Model, and you buy "as is". You reach out and no response. Windows are not opening properly, Curtain rods have fallen out of the wall and dinged up the walls where they were hung and fell into. Doors dont close properly. There is a foul odor that we cannot figure out where it is coming from, many other issues that contradict the "buy a model, you get the best of the best" If this is the case... Im not sure what other homeowners are going thru. :( ... More

It is the worst I had experienced. They mis-represent items. They are not very responsive, When I have an issue, they won't get back to me until I kept calling or I will need the RE agent to contact them before they will get back to me. The closing process was terrible. The workmanship and the material are horrible. I will never ever buy a house from them again.

I had a great experience with Lennar. The house was ready when they said it would be.

They have good and bad. I dealt with some great people in sales like Mike and hated finance past Christian that is. The mortgage process was good but also a headache for sure. But we are all in all happy. Great community with great families, events and great times
