Worst mistake ever: - Windows that don’t work - Cracks in garage and wall damage behind gutter - Missing downspout on other side of driveway - flimsy doors and locks - Downspout that wasn’t installed in correct location with no splash block - Screwed up sidewalk with cracks - Outdoor spigot that seems to have an internal leak - Mystery water marks on exterior concrete wall -Nail pops - Mystery blue ink on shower floor - non-working sprinklers - water tank in attic, heater in attic (why such an inaccessible location?) -non-existent customer service and banker’s hours - no mail boxes at house - only at the stupid useless clubhouse. Why only 1 location not like four?? - builder failed to disclose they are building a 900 unit apartment building less a half block down my tiny side street?!?!?! - development might be built across street by them too. - no irrigation water system -$2 sprinklers are NOT an irrigation system. - Gas everything? Why such a poor environmental choice? - Dead trees - my neighbor’s tree is dead and it’s not been replaced - crappy appliances ... More

Experience of buying a new home has brought me too many bad experiences to write a good review what was supposed to be a good experience quickly turned into a nightmare due to poor workmanship. Lack of service from Lennar home building team no one ever had answers and never kept promises as to when home was going to be completed issues never address properly

The buying experience was very smooth. Any issues we had were quickly resovled.

Hi, I recently bought a single family house in Grand Texas community. The house is very spacious and great. I felt finishing could have been better a bit. I didn’t like the kitchen and bathroom counters. The wash basin in both the bathrooms r very small and low quality finish. Rest of the house is great. Backyard is not done properly, the ground is bumpy. Can’t walk without getting ankle twisted. But the buying process and paper works done smoothly. Overall happy to buy this property.

Overall ok experance. Communication was biggest problem make your realtor keeps you informed of all aspects of the buying and building process.

Horrible HOA that doesn’t address issues. Bad quality of build. Walls aren’t square.

Lennar did everything great but we literally bought our house at peak market prices so I don't want to give 5 stars on value lol.

Not sure that the builder understood customer service. Pile of dirt in the garage on final walkthru. Said that he pressure washed the garage 5 weeks ago. Therefore, not his problem that there was a pile of dirt. Emily stepped in and had it cleaned. Thank you. Still waiting for my windows to be repaired (over 2 months) says that the subs are real busy. Otherwise, pretty responsive.

Our sales contact, Gyorgyi, and loan officer, Anna, were knowledgeable and provided a great customer service experience. The CM, Brian, assigned to manage the build and conduct the NHO and NHC was not warm. I think this was a miss, because these walk throughs are meant to be an exciting time for homeowners but I felt more like a burden for asking that issues be addressed. Some of the things I requested during the walk through weren’t fixed prior to receiving the keys and when I reached out afterwards I was told to open a ticket. The ticketing system is inconsistent, for some issues we are able to get things addressed quickly while others we do not get a call back. We have been without lights in our kitchen and downstairs bathroom for a few weeks now, which is very disappointing. ... More

Experience with Lennar was great. They were notifying at each step about home progress and things went smoothly.

The sales agent, the young one was rude and didn’t care at all to explain or show the homes since “the homes are selling themselves “. I walked through a home and was told the home would look exactly like it. Lennar changed out products to cheaper items with no update to the buyer and said oh well deal with or we will let you out your contract. My appliances were not in my home for the walkthrough liked I was informed. Afterwards there were several items pointed out to be repaired/fix during the initial walk through. Those items were not fixed and I was pressured to close without them being fixed. Closing was a nightmare. I was given an appointment time, and that came and went. Closing took over 4 hours. I would not recommend currently or in the future. I will be buying another home and if I see Lennar I will run not walk away quickly. ... More

Everyone was helpful and wanted to make mine a great experience

The unit has all kinds of problems from plumbing , electrical, flooring, windows, paint marks and several tickets are already filed within 2 months of move in. It is unfortunate to see a brand new home have so many issues. It is definitely not worth the price that I would pay

Lennar Held True to their word. My Lennar Construction Manager and the Home Consultant that worked independently of Lennar but with Lennar was excellent. Always responsive. Closed on exact date as promised. Home Consultant was excellent in helping me with locking in P&S agreement/Contract/wiring initial earnest deposit. Home Consultant was great in handling all sorts of questions I had and going way beyond the call of duty in helping me with my new build before it was ready for occupancy. Lennar Construction Management was also unbelievable in answering or returning my calls immediately, co-ordinating my new build while I was living out of state and answering/explaining all the details to me during this ongoing new build process. And was the key in getting the occupancy permit in time for me to close on the promised/expected Closing date. Workmanship/Quality both inside and out is rock solid. I am very impressed with the quality and how well our new home is built. Our home is very quiet even with ongoing new builds and ongoing construction near our home, We have no doubt that we could easily get a great return value should we ever decide to sell our home. Lennar Customer Care is very responsive and so far has fixed/addressed all of our Work Orders under Warranty immediately. The Lennar Hazard Ins agent was great but not the Lennar Flood Ins Agent. The rest of the Lennar team: the Lennar Mortgage, Lennar Title (Escrow/Title/Closing) , Lennar Construction Management, Lennar Customer Service are great. All were very responsive notwithstanding the enormous amount of volume and customers they have to handle day in day out. I have no idea how well they can give such individualized quality attention te each customer such as myself but they manage to do so. And they all delivered what was promised. Lennar put great quality and craftsmanship in the way in which our home was built from the foundation up. ... More

We were tickled, delighted, and happy throughout the entire process. Everyone was kind and made our buying process simple. The site managers were quick to answer questions and fix anything we thought wasn't right. We financed through Lennar. Our rates and fees were very competitive and were better than what was on the market. As interest rates were rising they helped us find ways to keep them down and to keep our mortgage in the range we wanted. My only negative through the whole process was towards the end with closing. Lennar uses multiple different website portals and forms for documents. It would be really nice if everything could be condensed into one simple portal and if all documents had one uniform format. ... More

The sales person, construction managers, and closing agent failed to take ownership of their actions and severely lacked in communicating among themselves for a smooth closure. The sales person towards the end shows bad attitude which made our closing experience worst of all. Amateurs! Poor craftsmanship!

Don't get me wrong. We are enjoying our new home; however, we are finding things that we missed. I've notified those who asked to be notified, and I've been acknowledged, but nobody's come to look at the issues. We measured the room sizes for furniture placement and found the 4th bedroom is smaller than the house plan drawing. It's 15 sq. ft. less than what's shown on that house drawing.

From the beginning my home buying experience has been great with Lennar. From my agent Debrah to my construction manager Frankie to the customer service with Brett, they’ve made my experience with Lennar a good one and a most memorable one. Thanks guys

Hello, The home interior was beautifully built and has had zero issues in our first month. Our only complaint was the overall curb appeal of the landscape. There was no mesh no avoid weed, edging was bad, plant disbursement looked uneven, and just not great. I would rather have landscape be bad than anything else, so still not upset! Our first project was to completely gut it though as a result and do it ourselves. Other than that, everything has been great! Sadly the sod came in when it was crazy hot, so that has been a process to revive but not the fault of Lennar on that! Thanks, Nick

At first it was exciting, lizz was great she always responded to our emails and check in every once in a while. She then moved and we were stuck with Nancy. When doing the tape walk thru we weren't able to hold the tape and things we wanted fixed we would get “it’s reasonably crooked” or “I’ll tape it but I don’t know if it’ll be fixed” as we walked through the house we had to be far from the wall and could not use our flashlight for dark areas. I understand it will not be perfect but if I’m going to be purchasing a new home and paying all that money I would like the house to be satisfactory. A lot of things we marked didn’t get fixed so the day of closing we only brought up the main concerns from our home inspector. Day of closing we had our realtor come in with us and Nancy started getting aggressive to where it got extremely uncomfortable. We wanted to make sure major issues were resolved before signing the iPad where we receive the house the way it is, but she would tell us we have to sign because she has more showings. When asking her about the workmanship she would tell us “I don’t know anything y’all need to sign here. That’s a question for the builder” overall workmanship is bad, not all reps are bad but I would suggest to stay away from Nancy from my experience, houses are built on a reasonable time frame but still I don’t think I’d buy a Lennar home again. ... Horrible experience, from every aspect of the staff. Sales, loan financing, leadership-all are lacking professional customer service skills. Definitely, I will not recommend Lennar to potential buyers!

Walk through was too quick.

Probably the worst consumer buying experience in my life. I have bought many new homes, from many different builders and the lack of professionalism I experienced from this home builder goes beyond description. I'm so over my Lennar home purchase fiascos that I'm just done even mentioning it anymore. I will never.... ever.... ever.... spend my hard earned money on another Lennar Home nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know or who inquires about my experience with this builder..

Bad customer experience. Without water approval the sod is installed for the home backyard ,no water for the sod for more than month.During TLC review I have raised the concern about the sod dying,lennar said sod will come back.Now it’s 2 to 3 months and the sod is dead,when I go back and raise a request,no response.This happened for many houses . NO response from lennar and very bad customer experience. There are multiple points for the bad customer experience.

We had so-called celebration two weeks before closing, we found about 10 items that needed to be addressed. Nothing were done during that two weeks. Day before closing they promised these were going to be fixed right away. Had to leave the house for one week for ceiling repair. Have to leave the house another two days for all the damages that have done to the floor. Part of the garage door needed to be redone which will be in couple weeks. No accountability to what they do. Workmanship is so bad, I thought project manager job is to supervising the project. After two months, our trash can still don't have handle, no gutter to the house, hopefully will be installed before cold weather. Widow sizes are diffrent but they use same size blind which is short on one window, I can add many small items which I am not going to. I was so excited about my house that I convinced my daughter to buy a house in my neighborhood. Her house will be ready on November and I am so stressed out about it. Most of the item go be done with a little supervising. Now Lennard has to spend more money to fix these and also buyers get lots of unwanted stress. ... More
