Would not recommend this builder. “Everything’s Included” is not entirely true. Also too much reliance on “technology” to handle everything - difficult to communicate face to face.

Unit wasn't ready and we were forced to pushed to close.

House was not ready. A lot of touch up would need to be done before Closing.

On time home delivery as promised at the time of contract sign.

The purchasing process was great. However once moved in, within days there were issues with appliances leaking, ants in the home, and difficulty getting issues resolved in a timely fashion.

Disappointed with the responsiveness of Lennar representatives when we had an issue. Many times we had to call over & over again during the initial process & after closing. Love the Townhouse, but some of your representatives need to be more customer oriented, especially the supervisor of the design center who never returned any of my calls.

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

While we love our home, there were several things that did not impress us with Lennar. The project management was average, at best. In construction and project management, you run into delays, that is part of the job. The handling of and working around delays was not executed to a level we expected. This forced them to rush through our home in the final month of construction. Towards the end of our construction period, we learned that Lennar's fiscal year ended on November 30th and there were a certain number of homes that had to be completed. Lennar put their interests in front of the buyer and proceeded to rush through the home. This put a terribly sour taste in our mouth. Items that we brought to their attention in the 2nd month of construction were now being addressed and when addressed, the craftsmanship was incredibly poor and had to be redone. A week out from closing, we had close to 20 items that needed to be addressed. You would think a week would be enough to complete this. Over that timespan, I saw crews at our home on only two of those days. A day before closing, there were still 7-8 items remaining. Half of those being major. When we moved in, the floors were covered in glue, there were rusty nails and razor blades (!) scattered all over our yard, screens were incredibly bowed, and sinks were filthy. At best, I can give Lennar 3/5 stars. We paid close to a half million dollars for our home and for that price, I expected better craftmanship and project management. Luckily, their warranty process has been responsive, but our home has felt like a construction zone for the first month, as we have one or two people in here per week fixing and correcting things that should've been completed prior to closing. ... Throughout my experience, the communications between the On-Site Realtor and my Realtor and Lender broke down significantly. When we tried to bring Barron’s Manager into the loop, she also did not respond to my call or my Realtor’s call. The straw that broke the camel’s back happened when I showed up the morning of my closing for the final walk- through and Darin, the construction manager asked did I get a call from Baron the on-site agent. I had not received a call and could tell that I wasn’t closing that day, Lennar had to dig another trench for rain water runoff. Baron knew this the night before. I understand nothing goes totally smooth, but had I have known the night before, I would had rescheduled the movers for my actual closing date. Due to the lack of communication, we had to pay for a month of storage and bring in another moving company to move our items into our Braemore home. Darin the construction manager and Hunter the customer service agent were great. I probably could have let things go without sending this response had Baron just called me to tell me our closing would be rescheduled, but instead, I waisted money. ... More

The houses are built quickly. The 8’ wood doors and 10’ ceilings are very nice. The trim is wide with an updated look. The house has lots of quality windows with windowsills. Lennar kitchens are roomy with a big islands and lots of counter space. The downside of Lennar homes is the drywall finishing and painting in certain areas. Quality paint is not used and some areas need repainting.

The workmanship and materials are sub par. For a new home, many follow up repairs are needed, which is ridiculous.

Even with the material and labor shortages faced throughout the country, our home was finished only 5 days after the original projected date.

For a new home and the lennar name the home should have been in better quality when we received it and the appliances are below par. Very noisy. Paint all over my upgraded flooring and even after someone came out to clean it a second time before we got the keys paint still on the floor

1. Need better communication about construction timelines. Mortgage rates fluctuate and the buyer bears the risk 2.

We really love our new home build by Lennar! The building crew was amazing - fast and good quality. The builders' supervisor was very responsive and kept us in the loop. He really went above and beyond. That said, the sale process was extremely shady and frustrating. The price kept going up by the week and even when they "released the lot" and had increased the price substantially from the initial price, they put us through blind bidding extorting even more money from us. After we moved into the house, the Lennar customer service is very good, for the most part.

Lennar needs to follow up on punch list and do in a timely matter ,the house had a lots of unfinished touch ups .lennar needs to a better final walk thru before customer takes home.

I first became acquainted with Lennar when I moved from the East to west coast and settled in Las Vegas. I like the homes and use of space. I just brought my second Lennar home and I see the same issues. The first one is the entry way into the master bedroom is always smaller than the rest of the other door ways always making it hard to move furniture into the room. There is always a little space then the entry way. Also some of the electrical outlet and switches are always in the wrong spaces. I did have some issues once I moved in but they were fixed as soon as they were pointed out. Some other issues like stripped screws and uneven cabinets are the tradesman but then its the project manager which should be checking those issues but prob does not do so. While your in the process of buying everyone is attentive as soon as you close nobody is interested anymore. ... More

Our experience hasn’t been exceptional; however it has been a learning experience.

We felt fortunate to be drawn in the lottery. Many people were not. Build took two. Oaths longer than expected, but with Covid we were not surprised. Disappointed with the quality. On closing day they were still doing last minute items. A lot of items had to be put on a punch list! We were told at our one week prior to close that the house would be pristine. It wasn’t! Paint many spots on floor. Window blinds missing, paint touchups not done. Door trim missing in areas. Grout smears everywhere on bathroom kitchen tiles and bathroom tiles. It took about three months for most issues to be resolved. Again, understanding that most new home builders seem to be going through the same labor and material shortages that Lennar faced. ... More

The system to file Repair Request online within one year warranty is convenient and response is kind of quick, but may be the large quantity and pandemic time, the request fixing cases time are waiting too long. As buyer stand point, we want to buy a good quality and ready to live the brand new home without any worry, not by having technicians to the house back and forth. Basically, I love this builder and my house design, but that will be perfect if no rush closing and less request repairs after closed.

Our home is beautiful and I'm grateful to be here. Having said that, there is some inflexibility with the company in general. Despite an 11-month timeframe between contract signing and closing, we weren't allowed to add a bathtub when we asked just a few weeks after signing. We had a leak due to anchors for closet shelves being screwed into the stack (drain line from upstairs) that required floor and sheetrock removal. HVAC wasn't quite right and has required a few visits. Tile is in place, but the grout is weird and nothing is exactly level. I suspect our other issues are common with any large, mass-scale builder...a fix requires one crew for removal, a second crew for a fix, a third crew for replacement, a fourth crew for painting.... I suspect slightly less detail-oriented folks would have fewer complaints, but I'm grateful every month for the 1-year warranty and the ability to submit punchlist items. ... More

Some finishes are not excellent but the price paid was even raised during the purchase. The experience as buyer: very poor The house: normal, average The price: very high

Too many things are breaking at this time

The sales staff made the process seamless and the warranty staff handled issues quickly and completely.

This will be a nice community. Unfortunately clubhouse and pool will still not be completed next summer. The homes are pretty well constructed but attention was not paid to detail such as the finishing work on the cabinets and flooring.
