There have been multiple issues with the home that have needed repair or to be addressed. Prior to closing customer care was very responsive. Since closing the responsiveness has gone significantly downhill. Also that I continue to find issues related to the quality of the craftsmanship of the home that demonstrate sloppiness in the building has been concerning. The insulation for noise and weather is great. The community is well taken care of.

We had a James who was a great person to work with here in Florida. He was very responsive. Even when they moved him from us to someone else. He would still answer and or resolve any issues. As for the home itself keep in mind that what you see as a demo is not what you are getting. I was told we were being upgraded to quartz from granite. Only thing is was the thinnest quartz I have ever seen. So much so that I went to several countertop shops and was told they would not sell me such a thin slab due to concerns with quartz getting damaged. That leads me to think if they took a short cut on something you can see what other short cuts did they make that you can't see. Would I buy from Lennar again? Maybe but I would want a more detailed list of items being added to the home so you know exactly what you are buying. ... More

Many individuals that you work with following the purchase if there are issues seem to be quick to respond, communicate well. Just understand you get what you pay for then you will not have any issues. The overall workmanship, especially on the finishing leaves a lot to be desired, everything from uneven tile work, caulking & grout work, finishing cuts on trim, etc.

Overall I like my home but not happy with windows, Shelves.

Let me be very clear, I'm very happy with my new home. However, there are several items which could have been addressed in a different way, a better way. We bought our home with an upgraded kitchen. On paper this means only upgraded appliances. Dont make me laugh. When you give me a large kitchen, why do you give me a tiny cook top ( I already replaced the hobbit version of the cook top for a grown up cook top). The kitchen is installed only for show, there is a 3 inch backsplash, so after frying 1 egg, your complete wall is covered with grease spots, which are impossible to clean. Same goes for the sink, al kinds off stains, but no backsplash. The refrigerator stands partly in the living room ( slightly exaggerated), with so much storage room, why make an tiny storage room behind the refrigerator, just make the cut out a little deeper, so the refrigerator is flush with the kitchen cabinets. The garage with minimum isolation, and not latches, come on. We are in 2024, no bathtub in the MASTER bathroom, only a shower ( to be honest, a nice shower). And the cleaning department, my my, I do not know where they learned how to clean, burt it's definately not at school. because it was very dirty (especially in high up places). No attention to details, I had to finish the gaps on the stairs with caulk, I have to admit, the forman told me, that I could call them for any issue, sorry but I should not have to. Within a week one of the smoke detectos started to scream for low battery, but the battery was good....the unit was faulty. Overall my experience with Lennar has been good. Unfortunately, the quality of the construction, specifically the spackling and painting, was performed poorly. There were areas on the walls and ceilings where the joints were not spackled smoothly, and they were painted over, resulting in walls and ceilings that were less than smooth . Although efforts were made by Lennar to address the poor craftsmanship prior to settlement, the corrections were not sufficient. I also discovered quite a bit of paint stains on my floors and carpets after I moved in. Because the spackling and painting was a very poor quality job, I hired a painter to correct the multiple areas that were not addressed to my satisfaction, because I wasn't going to wait 11 months for Lennar to come back to try to correct the problem again. I am very happy with the work my painter has performed to improve my home. The one highlight of my experience is the responsiveness and care that I've received by Lennar employee Cheryl. She is WONDERFUL! She responds to every one of my requests .... she will either address my question directly, or she will direct me to the appropriate contact. If it wasn't for the thoughtful, considerate, and conscientious efforts of Cheryl, my overall Lennar experience would have been rated much lower. Lennar should be very grateful that they have a terrific representative like Cheryl providing support to their buyers. She is a great person, and deserves special recognition. ... More

These Lennar homes are built fast & cheap! Floors on a concrete slab are not level! I installed windows blinds and at the top there's half an inch on either side, while at the bottom, I can't even pull the blind all the way down, so I'll have to cut the bottom blinds. I never thought it was possible to have a window frame that wasn't straight. Well, I discovered I was wrong! There's paint on the linoleum in every room along the baseboards! No time to clean that stuff up - that's on you! Because you don't see the top of each door's molding, they don't paint it! In the walk-through, I asked them to paint it and they said they would. Nope, they didn't. Kitchen faucet looks chrome, but it's actually a hard plastic with chrome paint on it. Wow, is all I have to say. ... More

Need to offer more options. Additional outlets, upgrade carpet, paint colors. Allow a deck header to be installed. Better HOA. Terrible at communication!

Buying process was quick and reasonable. Everyone before purchase was friendly and informative but it was a complete mess afterwards with no one to communicate with when issues arose.

lennar is a good builder however I had many issues when I moved into the house regarding the creaking wood on the second floor, paint on the bathroom mirrors and the toilets were not working properly as well as holes in the wood part of the kitchen doors and cabinets

The home and sales team were great. They were very helpful. My main challenge was with the Lennar mortgage where I did not get the interest rate I was originally expected due to delays and lack of response. Then when I finally agreed to buy down the rate and signed all of the contracts and paper work then I was told 2 working days prior to closing that I could not get my rate. Very disappointed that I did not get the rate that I was expecting but everything else was great.

The agent, Shay, was great and the team inside Lennar was pretty good. Unfortunately, Lennar is plagued with incompetence and cost cutting to the extreme at the top. The purchasing team needs to be updated and the design team needs to refocus on what matters in a successful design. I can understand removing the powder room from the RV garage to cut costs. But there was an opportunity to put tough ins for future for a sink on the back side of the master bath. The windows for the garage were removed, which was a design failure and cut very little overall cost. The door to the back yard was removed from the garage. The house has no linen closet, comes without towel bars, the faucets and door handles are chrome when the cabinet hardware is brushed. The front door hardware is also brushed. Nothing matches, we as owners are unable to add outlets or change anything. The bedrooms don’t have any lighting or switched outlets at time of turnover. There are just so many missed opportunities here and with no additional costs or very little at most a more cohesive and quality design a could be accomplished. It boils down to a lack of proper oversight from the executive level. As a side note, Lennar showed the property with a 2% commission advertised for my agent and then tried to change to a lower flat fee around time of closing. After pleading his case Lennar did agree to pay the previously agreed upon rate. However, this type of action on the builder’s part does not reflect well. ... More

Just over promised, under delivered.

The overall quality of home is good, the community is not, the landscaping in front of the house is lacking adequate plant material and the community slopes are a disaster. By not making your community improvements a priority (rec centers, slopes, front yard landscaping, street lights, sidewalks) you have and continue to impact your reputation and I would have to assume your sales. Also, the entrance gates do not appear to be designed to control foot traffic, Not sure if this is by design or not. I will need to review your EIR and conditions of approval.

1st time buying from the builder. Was very confusing and people are not very helpful.

What could be an all encompassing & complete buying experience is rushed to the point that details are overlooked both administratively and from a construction perspective. The volume is tremendous and the various departments,) sales ,mortgage, & insurance) do not communicate or act as one. A life in sales & marketing allows me to observe what could be the most effective Custer Service tools of any industry, rendered useless, ineffective, and down right weaponized, against the buyer. Numbers are very important for a publicly traded company trying to occupy this segment of the housing market. But Lennar needs to decide what is more important, the numbers or the buying experience (Customer Service) because right now The Bean Counters are winning & it is obvious. Was not the best experience with the mortgage, multiple issues and this isn't my first home. It's my 7th. WAY to many people to deal with and communication was a challenge at best. Quality is ok, but the crew that does the finish work not so great. Have found multiple finishes that are mediocre. They seem to be more concerned about getting them to completion rather than Quality.

it is just another builder who doesn't care about customer, you ask for something after giving them money and they make you slave. They don't have any good communication process or steps, there is a big time disconnect between sales, construction manager, underwriter, loan officers, they don't talk to each other at all, so frustrating process.

The home buying experience at Lennar was intense everything seemed to happen very quickly.. it was very overwhelming for first time homebuyers. However majority of our team was helpful ( especially our loan officer) I do wish our home concierge made more time for us, and walked us through the final steps of the process but she was ooo most of the time and rarely responded. Overall it was an okay experience, and we love our new home... Even if there are still some blue tape left

Overall, I’d say the experience was well but very overwhelming. A lot of back-and-forth, which is to be expected with a huge decision to purchase a home. With Lennar being a giant production builder it’s understandable that things don’t always go as planned, but their processes are streamline and issues end up getting worked out. So far we’re loving being in our new house and appreciate the opportunity to buy with Lennar. As of 2 months after closing our experiences are nowhere near what a lot of the negative experiences are that are posted online. We have a lot of good things to say, but there are also some drawbacks. Workmanship is subpar to say the least, there are obvious corners that have been cut, but nonetheless, they built homes fast for wide variety of people and families. I would have no issue at all recommending Lennar to anybody looking to purchase a home. ... More

Be ready to be on your computer 24-7 with no excuses, your life will stop because they need things as ASAP with no excuses, even if you are driving, at home with your family!!!!!! they make you feel you need them or I don't know what was the point of doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 Months in and still working to have punch list items from a week prior to closing corrected. Fixed some small, simple items myself. Lennear Mortage had major issues, limited or delayed communication and issues they had were Lennar Mortgage created, they dropped the ball. Quality, low end builder grade appliances, carpeting, cabinets, etc.

My experience with Lennar Homes was mixed. On one hand, Omar, the builder rep, was incredibly helpful and available to answer questions. His guidance throughout the home buying process made things a bit smoother. However, one aspect that I found slightly inconvenient was their complete reliance on electronic documentation. I personally prefer having some paper documents for reference, not just QR codes to look everything up on a screen or log into a portal. Issues that were found during inspection were addressed prior to move-in, there were a couple of items that required attention post-occupancy. Still funding things but Thanks to omar & Richard things get resolved in a timely manner! Overall, if you're comfortable with a fully digital process, Lennar Homes, with Omar's assistance, could be a great choice for your next home purchase. Lenar Mortgage: My experience with Lennar Mortgage left a lot to be desired. The entire process felt unnecessarily exhausting due to their insistence on a fully electronic process. There was no flexibility provided to receive contract documents, or for the loan officer, Jon, to review any of the loan documents with us in person. Adding to the frustration was the required use of their portal, Lennar Track, which was plagued with constant technical issues accessing our file or documents. A very frustrating experience for my husband and I. On a positive note, I must acknowledge Tammy for her pleasant demeanor and helpfulness during and after closing. ... More
