We had a great experience thru the purchase and closing process. Sales staff is very friendly and responsive. The Lennar Mortgage team was slow to respond and had rates higher than other lenders, and therefore were not used. Construction, appliances and finishes were of sub-par quality compared to other new construction in similar price ranges. Issues found during closing walk thru were not completed before closing and were thus sent to the warranty team which was initially slow to respond. Check every detail before accepting the house. Everything is NOT included. Many problems with the subcontractors' quality and workmanship. Lawns are especially rough.

The process is fast, but this tendency reduces quality. No buyers remorse, but be prepared to have to possibly deal with issues right after moving in to the home. For me it was replacement of the exterior water pressure backup spout, repairing a roof leak, and broken doorbell chime. I notice other minor things pointing to lower quality of work like crooked windows for example. But I am still happy with my purchase as any issue I encounter so far they do service eventually. I moved in 4 months ago.

It's amazing the things you find out about the contract you signed quickly along with the Builder etc, etc, after you move in. The Realtor just wants to sell sell sell and the builder just wants to put up a house very quickly!!! They don't care if the doors line up or if the floors are level or if there is insulation in the roof. GET A HOME INSPECTION BEFORE MOVING IN!!!

Repairs that needed to be completed prior to the "needed" review for the sales department were priority. Details that need correction post that review certainly take a back seat. Vendors do not like accountability

The Lennar Title Company was non-responsive to my questions, emails and calls. They assigned my closing to three different agents before finally closing. I requested the closing settlement statement several times before I received it. My closing was remote with no personal interaction with a human being. I only met a Title representative when I picked up my keys. The Title Company is over worked, poorly managed and inefficient.

When we moved into the house we received a faulty dishwasher, which we were told would be repaired not replaced. Also the kitchen flooring needed to be replaced because of water leakage and all this took forever and highest level of escalation. Also in four months I can see the outside paint already chipping from window rims. Seems like Lennar has compromised a lot on using quality appliances and products and not done a proper quality check before handing over the house. Though Bret was still helpful with few things and that is my reason for still giving 3 stars despite multiple issues.

We are not first time home buyers. There are so many questions to be asked and make sure to get all those questions completely answered. The fees are very overwhelming and you need to understand all of it. We feel there has been broken down communications between subcontractors and Lennar. As homeowners it’s incredibly frustrating to purchase a new home, with no previous owners, and have many, many issues of improper and sub-level finishing of paint, kitchen cabinet, fan, shower, garage door, mirror and appliance issues. When I sign the contract everything was perfect. After my loan officer was supposed to be reaching out or answering questions, it was a nightmare trying to get a hold of him. I had to remind him that this was an important life event and that we should have constant communication and his job was to answer my questions. Also, I had a coupon that was an internal program to be applied to my purchase and the vendor was telling us that it was an old program and that there was no way that this could be applied even when the coupon was new (just received) and I had to present it up to 30 days prior ...

We love our neighborhood and our home overall is great. The signing of our contract was great but we have very little follow up after that. The only updates that we received were after we had to ask for. Now that we have moved in, we cannot get help with any outstanding issues. Very frustrating. I would say that this had solely to do with our sales consultant and not Lennar as a whole.

In a volatile market Lennar offers a good value. Unfortunately the home you chose might as well have been already been built. No choice of upgrades, colors, etc. We liked the community, floor plan but wished we could have made it more to our personal taste. Ended up spending more money to make changes, color schemes to our taste, frustrating part of an otherwise exciting experience of building a new house.

The experience was very fast. Maybe too fast. But I believe that comes with the times and the market. It would have been a better experience if our sales person had better advised us on the process and with more specific facts on the community and neighborhood and that there is an actual sub builder. The sales team could have shown some appreciation and gratitude for finally going through with lennar. Lennar employees we worked with were very nice and helpful throughout. My main complaint is the agent said we were getting certain amenities to the house such as the house being set up as a smart home. That wasn’t the case. There were other things we thought we were getting with the home but were disappointed when that was not so. Home builder companies have many obstacles that can delay the progress for the required regulations of homes. Builders may take shortcuts in order to meet contract deadlines. Quick homes are built but not completely polished. Homebuyers are dissatisfied that they have to repair or fix items like appliances doors tiles...Builders should thorough check for workable appliances doors leaks cracks prior buyers ownership. Homebuyers stress the importance for interior design being functional and presentable.
