We closed on our house in September. We were told the day before that major issues still remained (appliances not delivered, etc.). We've been struggling with Lennar for months now (mid-November) to handle paint, drywall, flooring, cracked tubs, etc. They say they will fix things, and eventually they have been getting to issues one by one, but it takes forever. Everyone in the neighborhood has this same experience. Lennar does not have enough focus on the last 2% of fit and finish, and does not have enough resources focused on keeping commitments to new owners.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. On August of 2022, I was notified by a Lennar Sales Agent Adam Barton that a home that may fit my family needs was available. He advised me of the price and immediately notified Melissa to see if the numbers would work. Melissa diligently started working on my case and came back with an more than outstanding result. Once Adam had me sign the purchase agreement, Melissa immediately started working on my case (lighting fast). With the hundreds of questions, I asked Melissa she was calm, cool, very patient, and answered all my questions with ease. With subsequent phone calls on a million more questions, Melissa was available extremely considerate of me being a first-time home buyer and answered anything I threw at her. Melissa was even there for me on her birthday. She was knowledgeable and I could tell from the sound from her voice she wanted this purchase to happen as bad as I did. When Morgan began to handle my case, her voice was respectful, outstandingly courteous, and refreshingly understanding. As with any mortgage process paperwork requested can be overwhelming and sometime scary for a first-time home buyer. Morgan put me at ease, she took the time to explain what was needed and why. Every time I talked to her, I was impressed about her knowledge, professionalism, and what I appreciated the most was her kindness. Again, I felt Morgan wanted me to have this home as bad as I did. I have lived in Florida for the last 12 years since I came home from Iraq. My wife and I have wanted to own a home since the first day we moved to this state. I know in my heart the Melissa and Morgan made this possible for my family. I now own my own home for my young children and their children to grow up in. Melissa and Morgan are the best assets you have at Lennar Mortgage. If there is an award, recognition program, or even customer satisfaction bonuses offered at your company I respectfully request for Melissa and Morgan be considered. These women deserve any positive recognition. I will never forget their kindness which has reflected so wonderfully on Lennar. Moving is really good but the responsiveness and the questions that were answered of the problems in the house after moving in was Lacking any real urgency or willingness to help navigate the issue

Absurd I've worked with various Construction Managers prior to closing only to be given lip service. Rushed to close and issues never addressed. Now post closing 2 months later still attempting to get items resolved. Truly bad experience all around.

Not happy with construction quality of home shoddy workmanship!

I'm half year into my new Lennar home. Despite being promised that workmanship and quality issues will be taken care off, they did not fully deliver. There were multiple issues from day one. Most of which are dealt with. Nevertheless, Lennar were content and insistent of leaving simple things such as incorrect installation of dishwasher unfix, which speaks heavily about their lack of professionalism of some of their employees. Dissappointing and appalling.

It was great choosing Lenar as our builder. Lenar was very patient with us and I highly appreciate that.

Lennar forgets about you after closing.

Next level terrible company and so funny that my first review was deemed inappropriate. No bad language, no threats, just the truth. Lennar is a morally bankrupt company that produces a sub par product. Just for good measure they make you take solar and reap the 26% tax benefit. I am not sure how anyone who works for this company can sleep at night.

Not impressed at all. Leading up to our closing we had nothing but problems that weren't completely address by the time we closed and had to be addressed after moving in. Had a water leak within days of closing which has now caused a mold issue that is taking weeks to even address and our new home being torn apart. Build quality overall for the purchase price is not great in my personal opinion, for example we didn't even get a screen door included with a sliding patio door, cabinets are poor quality, majority of second floor has squeaky loose subfloor, cheap laminate floors and cheap carpet throughout. Lennar folks were and are great. My problem is with the drainage and the Sprinkler people who were uncooperative and absent.

Purchasing went smoothly, but then once in the house and items discovered that needed fixing, well then...that takes some time and effort getting anyone to come back to actually fix it. You have to call and call, then call some more and it still isn't fixed. I don't like having to be the squeaky wheel, but if that's the only way to get them to come back, I'll be squeaking all day long.

This was my first experience with buying a house and Lennar knocked it out of the park! Everyone was so helpful and always kept in contact during every phase of the process. I truly cannot say enough good things about them!!!

We love the home and neighborhood. It is perfect for us. Very few, and minor issues for the most part. The home does have a full warrantee but getting help with any issues you may have is sketchy. If you have an issue you submit a job ticket. You will be connected with a "virtual" customer care assessment... but nothing can be repaired "virtually" so that is a waste of time. In the end you will be bounced to someone that represents your neighborhood in person. Whether or not action is taken on your request is in that person's hands. I had that person throw away my ticket because I disagreed with his assessment. He officially declared me unresponsive and stated that the work was done. It seems like there was a rush to build these homes and to sell them as quickly as possible. Doors are rough and not smooth from bad spray paint job. Trim and molding are rough and bumpy from poor paint job. Wood chips in doors, window sills, and trim that looks like were patched up and painted over without primer so easily distinguishable from the original paint. Dried up paint on glass windows and hardware. Cabinets had scratches and chips. Dried up paint spots on carpet. Just poor attention to detail for a home that costs over half a million dollars.

The quality of workmanship is not there. It feels as if they were rushed or just simply didn’t care and the construction manager was not very nice to work with.

Great location and community

As far as sales,Deb is amazing to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home in Sterling Ranch. On the other hand i am extreamly disappointed with the poor construction management and the lack of finishing anything before moving onto the next home. We moved in almost 2 months ago and still our house is being pieced together while we watch others move in weeks/months after us and have a fully finished house and landscaping. This company is more worried about putting up more houses than actually finishing what they had started.

The home buying process was a good experience aside for the misinformation on certain processes. My biggest issue is the quality of the build itself. The attention to detail and overall workmanship is terrible. All the issues pointed out at the walk through were not taken care of by the time signing came along. At signing I was told this would be handled and no one ever came back to fix anything. The floors started splitting and the excuse I get is that it’s the change in temperature. There are many areas in the dry wall where holes and gashes were left along with the cabinets in the kitchen falling apart. I have followed up weekly with the master builder to have these changes but I keep getting blown off. I’m highly disappointed in all this given the price of the home and the promises made during the sales process. If my warranty eclipses and the issues are not fixed I will be getting legal representation. ... More

Lennar provided the day for closing and there were a lot of items that were not completed/resolved prior to moving even though it was promised thet would be completed before closing. It’s difficult to get any responses from them to resolve outstanding issues and when they provide a date they don’t stick to it.

For price of this home the overall workmanship was very poor. There are many basic things that were poorly done such as painting, and door and trim installation. Very disappointed with the quality of the work.

1. Stone on front of home had to be replaced- poor workmanship. 2. Horrendous spackling job in the garage, stairway and storage room. 3. Key to the home does not work in the lock of the door to the house through the garage. 7 weeks later and we still do not have the proper key, which is on order. 4. Stain on front cement porch -still no solution for removal. 5. LENNAR mortgage process was a nightmare. It should be streamlined- instead it is very time- consuming and difficult to navigate. There are too many people involved. There should be one contact person for the whole process to track progress and avoid requests for duplicate information. ... More

I love my new home! It has been a pleasure working with Lennar employees.

Where to begin? So many issues and disappointments dealing with Lennar. Found a house and started the loan process in January 2022. Got approved and thought everything was done. Move in date set for late May. Got a call from Alex. our Lennar Loan Officer, in March to resubmit everything. He was impatient, offered no explanation and surprisingly rude. He seemed so nice and helpful back in January. Every week I was asked to submit something else even though I was assured nothing more was needed. This went on for two long months. Finally finished the loan process a second time and was approved again. House got pushed to June, July, August then finally September. Signed title papers on a Friday and was told I would get the keys that day. Didn't hear back from Lennar until Tuesday when they called to tell me I needed to return to the title office to sign redrawn documents. The house took so long the title expired. Finally moved into the house in late September. There were several construction issues including: scratched and cracked cabinets, a bulge in the guest room wall, unfinished baseboards, three cracked floor tiles, grout splashed on base boards and kitchen cabinets, bent window screen, stained shower from all the debris that was left inside after installment during construction, mismatched paint on the patio walls and splashed paint on patio railing. I was surprised they actually called this move in ready. Once moved in, I had to schedule repairs for the above issues. It's been almost 6 weeks and Lennar has yet to repair everything. Twice I've made appointments on my days off where I was given a four hour window for repairs and both times they no showed. Didn't even receive a call. And the scheduling process is quite thorough too. You have to reach out to the Customer Care Rep, then schedule a virtual appointment so they can see what needs to be repaired then wait four hours on your scheduled date for repairmen to show. The entire process is ridiculous. You have to deal with three different groups of people just to schedule a repair. And after all of that, twice they didn't even bother to show up! Other frustrating issues moving to a Lennar community include no HOA information or mail delivery. The HOA number Lennar listed on their "important numbers to set up your home" list turned out to be a wrong number. Mail boxes have been set up but no mail has been delivered to any of the homeowners yet. Every week we have to go to the post office to pick up mail and even the post office is confused about the mail service here. Apparently, it has not been registered yet to receive mail service.
