1. Did not like revealing that we need to cough up 20% way before closing instead of just usuall deposit and closing was delayed multiple times. Cost us major financial hardship due to the 20% insistance. 2. Hushed up fist and final inspection, They did not address legit yard issues as they know we have paid 20% down. Barriers to 3rd party inspection. House unclean not even builder level clean. Multiple closing dates and workers still doing bath tile works hours before closing. Rescheduled to hour before closing and cleaners doing cleaning while we had a hush hush inspection. TOTALLY unsatisfied Overall: Sales: V GOOD Mortgage: They dont care as we are locked in. Our contact at Lennar has been nothing but fantastic. Would work with him or recommend him to anyone. New build home was built on time without any obvious delays from our perspective either. The final product has many finishing touch problems. Some are bigger problems than others: two lights have zero associated switches, hole in a wall, missing closet door, crack in another closet door with an arrow pointing to it (so it was known), paint on the floor EVERYWHERE. Hand prints on fresh paint, scuffed walls, etc. We were given an incorrect code to get in and no keys either. Little things, but still not hard to notice or correct before handing off. Time will tell if these punch list items get corrected or not -- its a big company so we remain hopeful. People are 10/10. They just need a little QC at the end to avoid pointless fumbles. ... More

I am happy to purchase a new Lennar Home. While the process was exciting, negotiations involved different people with different understanding of the options. Also, not all our questions were answered timely. But I love my new home...

People from sales to walk -throughs were very nice. Within 1 month we’re seeing finishing work that is disappointing such as multiple caulking cracks that was used to fill in gaps around moldings in kitchen, bathrooms, up stairway, windows, around floors & doors. We saw some at pre walk- through that I guess fresh application of the same stuff was used; We’re making a list for our 1 year but will not want a repeat application that will end up the same. Bedroom carpet feels like no padding was used. Garage & storage room drywall taping & finishing job: - we’ve spent thousands & days of work making it look presentable. Selling disclosure has a “ yes” issue w/ no explanation in comments that we can’t get resolved for our records. ... More

Our experience with Lennar was okay overall, but there were some major gaps that were surprising for a company of this size. One of the biggest frustrations was not knowing what our home would look like during the building process. We weren’t shown exterior colors, finishes, or interior design details ahead of time. We literally had to drive by the house while it was being built to see what was happening. In 2025, I would expect 3D models, renderings, or at least photos of similar homes to help buyers visualize their investment. For a company as large as Lennar, this should be standard. We also didn’t know what the interior finishes would be until much later, which made the process feel uncertain and stressful. When you’re spending $400,000+ on a home, transparency matters. Another disappointment was the quality of the appliances. For the price point, they were underwhelming and honestly felt cheap. It comes across as Lennar cutting corners and getting greedy, which is frustrating for buyers making such a major purchase. That said, the local team we worked with was great. Everyone we personally interacted with was kind, responsive, and easy to work with. The only exception was the neighborhood “seller.” We never met him in person, and he never showed us what our home would look like, which added to the lack of communication. Overall, we like our home and had a decent experience, but Lennar really needs to improve transparency, communication, and quality for the price they charge. Initial sales process was great and very responsive Once we booked and paid advance all sales vanished and services was very poor and rude staff Not much help and emails are very rude after booking No friendly staff

The location of our new home is truly lovely. The lots are generously sized, and the neighborhood feels well planned and respectable. Unfortunately, the quality of the build has been disappointing. Many of the materials used feel exceptionally cheap, and the overall craftsmanship is lacking. Doors are misaligned, cabinets are poorly installed, nail holes were left uncovered, and the floors began creaking within days of moving in. There are also numerous apparent downgrades, including a single can light in the primary bathroom, laminate flooring in bathrooms, and mismatched hardware throughout the home. While we anticipated some compromises given that this is a national builder, the extent of the shortcuts has been surprising. It is frustrating to be making so many changes in a brand-new home simply to bring it in line with the quality of other, well-built homes in the neighborhood. Our previous home was also built by a national builder, but the quality of this Lennar home is noticeably inferior by comparison. That said, there are positives. The neighborhood itself is wonderful, the lots are a great size, and Lennar has been responsive when we have submitted requests for repairs. I should also note that several of our neighbors have shared similar experiences with their Lennar homes. The Lennar sales team and construction project manager were totally informed and knowledgeable about the entire process. It was a pleasure meeting and working with them.

My experience with getting my home was everything! The communication & flexibility they offered me was just excellent! I recommend if you’re buying a home for it to be a LENNAR home. They treated me just like family & to still keep in contact is pure love! So pleased with everything they had for me!

Great value for the price. There are some issues (small) that need to be resolved regarding workmanship but as soon as i submitted my work order I received a response.

Overall, the experience was okay, but far from smooth. I can’t imagine having gone through this process without a realtor representing our interests. The loan process was extremely stressful and felt disorganized, with poor communication between departments and, at times, an overwhelming and frustrating experience. On the positive side, the title process was excellent and the only part that went seamlessly. Our sales representative, Kim, was truly wonderful. When we discovered we had been sold the wrong lot—a very difficult and disappointing situation—her efforts to help and advocate made a significant difference. Without her involvement, we likely would have canceled the contract. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by Lennar’s lack of accountability and willingness to help resolve the issue. We never received an apology, and it felt as though the company’s priorities were more focused on its own interests rather than the buyer’s experience. That said, we are happy with our home. In today’s market, Lennar does offer affordable pricing, which can be a real opportunity for buyers looking to enter the market and secure a starter home. We carried the ball throughout the process, we got all of our requirements completed within 24 hours, then spent the 24 to 48 following up on Lennar‘s responsibilities. Then the bureaucracy was excessive, and overlapping, very confusing for the customer.

The appliances had issues and it took a few weeks to get sorted out, twice the contractor was a no show no call, I had to live out of a cooler for 2 week because the refrigerator didn't work, the workmanship was very poor, just to name a few items the kitchen wall socket is slanted , tile in several rooms have bad cuts , corners could've been measured better for a cleaner look

My experience was okay with Lennar. My biggest let down with the buying process was the closing. I closed online but when I came to get the keys to my home no one was there to greet me or thank or congratulate me. They just handed me a dirty envelope with keys in it. Such a let down after making such a huge purchase and it being my first time. I did express my disappointment but no one seemed to care after the paperwork was signed. As far as the home itself, there have been a few issues. Not big issues, but being a brand new home I didn't expect this many issues one month into my new home. It is also a little tedious getting in contact with the right people to get repairs done. Especially if it's after hours. Most of the time they want to come during regular business hours which means I am also working so that makes it hard to coordinate. Other than those issues, everything else has been good. ... More

This was a hit and missed experience for me. By this I mean some pleasant and not so pleasant. My house was already built and ready for sale some features were okay and others were not my choice but I accept them anyway. Overall it was a fast paste experience and lots of knowledge gained.

The Lennar team is great! I’m a first time homeowner and everyone has made this process so smooth! Special shout out to our construction manager Jeff he’s been extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process! We see him on site every day and he’s always asking if we need anything even after our purchase. The whole team has been fantastic and has gone above and beyond answering questions I’ve had as a brand new homeowner. Could not have asked for a better experience!
