Honestly it was one of the most horrible experiences ever done. The buying process was very unprofessional since they keep on changing the closing day and while me and my family already left the place we used to live at. I’m a disabled Veteran so I thought I will be a little easier for me to move into my new house but this was just a nightmare. The house was not even clean, some things were damaged and the response from the inspector is just not working for me so I ended up doing the cleaning and fixing with my wife for over two weeks. Lennar homes are a good value overall. We struggled with several delays in closing on our new house, but given current demand for new homes, this is understandable.

I am first home buyer with no knowledge of procedures or process. With Lennar,its simple, easy and transparent. My home consultant Aaron walked me through all phases of construction, right from signing to move-in. I am pleased with the quality and materials. The customer care is very responsive till the issues get closed. I am very happy with my choice of Lennar as "Everything is Included".

Very disappointed in Lennar and the volume of issues needing to be fixed after move-in, including lanai flooding, garage keypad not working, water not connected for dishwasher, sloppy workmanship. The sales rep (not Art) and Oleg (construction manager) did a hasty walk-through prior to close — Oleg was completely disinterested and made offensive remarks about this home not being “custom construction.” The pair essentially lied in telling us the repairs we were requesting would be completed “in the next few weeks.” That was May 5 and many of the repairs are yet to be made as of August 3. It is difficult to understand why Lennar wouldn’t do finishing work correctly, rather than sending out multiple vendors to do repairs. Have also found odd engineering such master bath blinds that operate only on the left side, which requires the homeowner to climb into the soaking tub to adjust/open the blinds — who is going to do that every day? The towel bar is also above the soaking tub, making it unusable, and the kitchen sink does not get hot water unless you run it for at least 5 minutes, and then it is “warm”, not hot. The repair person told me this is due to the tankless water system which does not accommodate the island kitchen sink. We have turned temp up but it is a marginal improvement — not right for a $600+K home. Additionally, the Genie garage door opener apparently cannot be programmed for temporary codes as Liftmasters can be — Liftmaster was listed on the original design sheet for the home, and the Lennar “smart home” kit includes a Liftmaster Ring product, so not sure how one is supposed to connect that to a Genie opener. Also a dead-end from Lennar regarding water run-off from gutters in front of garage that is causing deep holes to fill with water and all the mulch to be washed away. Lennar says the gutters are up to spec and they cannot fix further, but clearly having holes filling with water is an issue. ... More

Purchased house was told I would get touch up paint, never received! Three boxes to replacement tiles, was told to text Nolan did on several occasions never received. Doors painted with semi gloss, touched up with flat paint. We have paint on carpets in bedrooms Just horrible

my sales agent was terrible. closing was a nightmare. very poor communication, no response to emails, no updates. Only positive thing about the whole home buying experience is our customer relationship manager.

From the time we walked into the sales at the model home, our bad experience started. There was nobody there to answer your questions, you have to schedule an appointment to see a sales agent We felt like we have to beg just to schedule an appointment. He took us to a lot and we were impressed with the view the lot has to offer and which made us buy the property. But he did not inform us that a block wall was going to be built and will block the view he was highlighting about this lot. Lennar mortgage offered $6000.00 towards the closing cost, but opt not to go with them. The mortgage officer would not respond to my calls and emails! The delay in construction is not Lennar's fault but their lack of empathy for the buyers is. Our concierge did not inform us of the change of dates of closing which were a lot, I would find this out from our bank! After finally moving in, the sloppiness of the work is all over the house, especially the paint job. There is a lot more to say but I think this is enough. ... More

Overall the experience of this home was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The house was not clean and welcoming when entering a brand new home due to the following discoveries after closing: Damages to the walls, paint left on the floor, grout left on the titles, thermal expansion tank installed incorrectly twice, Green tape left on all of the bedroom doors, blue and green tape peeled off and left on the floor & carpets.Tire marks left on garage floor. the home was not cleaned and prep as promised by Lennar for closing. Many items that were identified during the walkthrough were not addressed. Multiple tickets had to be submitted to correct these issues. Even though some tickets were completed there are still pending tickets to complete many of the items listed above. Just recently discovered construction debris behind kitchen stove, the wall behind the stove still have writing on it from the construction and was not repainted along with the rest of the house, the base board mounding was left incomplete. Closet doors for three of the bedrooms needed to be readjusted, because they were poorly installed. Poor quality of the home, to have the peephole removed from the front door, although the homes were provided with the Ring security system, it would have been better served for safety reason to keep the peephole in the doors considering it’s human nature to look through peephole first before opening your door, instead of having to grab an electronic device to see who is at the door every single time. The time and money used to remove this feature from all doors could have been better spent taking care off some of the key items to completing the construction of the home properly. ... More

I love my new home. The experience was very good and the quality of appliances is above average. I would have liked a chance to upgrade to the washing machine used in the single family homes. I did think they could have been better about giving more notice of closing date because I was selling a home at the same time. I also wish I had my own mailbox because I do worry about going over to central boxes in 20 years. The home layout is great and the bathrooms are very nice. Love all the countertop and cabinet space in the kitchen. Some outstanding issues to be resolved but nothing too major. I'd say response to issues is average. I would definitely recommend Lennar as a builder. ... More

I was very pleased working with my loan officer and the seller agent from Lennar, both were polite, guided me through the expectations and requirements in a timely manner. This is my family’s second purchase from Lennar and we will encourage our children to choose them when they are ready to buy.

Overall, we are happy with our home mainly because we love the location and the neighborhood is very safe and quiet. On the other hand, the build quality, in my opinion, is very poor. We have had countless issues after being in our home for only 6 weeks. These include very poor interior paint quality with a total lack of attention to detail. Also, the guest bathroom tile work has to be completely redone due to terrible workmanship. French doors have been replaced due to improper installation and finishing. An outdoor vent cover has come loose and is waiting to be replaced. Then there is the cabinetry throughout the entire home. Absolutely the worst! Cheap, doesn't even begin to describe the quality of the cabinets that we installed in our home. Not a single door or drawer is straight, one cabinet is cracked, hardware is uneven and every single seam needs touched up. Don't get me started on the quality of the dishwasher that was installed... I've seen better in college campus apartments. ... More

Don’t sign off on the day of your walk though. If there are issues to be fixed have them fix it before you sign off. I’m 7 months in an still waiting for them to fix a kitchen drawer that was blue taped the day off walk thru. Costumer service rep dose not care

Over all it was a good experience and we love our new home. The sales and the lending teams were awesome!! They keep us updated and we would highly recommend them. The issues we have are with construction. We did not have AC for about two weeks and although our contact at Lennar was great and helpful it was very frustrating to not have AC during a heat wave in our new home. We have also had a couple issues with someone on the construction team and unfortunately they will continue to be around as we were in the first phase of move ins. Additionally we were given inaccurate info for closing- we were told to open an account with the water company 5 days prior to closing (which we did) and at closing we were told not to as the water was part of the HOA. Okay great but by the time the water company closed our account a bill for $350+ was run up as they put the water for the whole complex in our name! And now Lennar is not responding. ... More

Quality of workmanship is poor. Value is low compared the price paid. The paint quality is poor. Warranty team responds to issues raised but would not fix everything.

My financial team was amazing, especially Alex! They did everything they could for me from the darkest of days to the last few days of joy! The building team, not so much. The walk through's, where we kept finding errors and sloppy or unfinished work, seemed to be an inconvenience for them. They couldn't get us to sign off fast enough. By the time of the last walk through i gave up on asking them to remove red paint marks,, blue tape on all borders of the carpet and paint on the carpet. Then they said they would fix the last 4 major items... 2 months later.. still waiting for them to finish Asking for work orders is an easy process, but don't expect follow through or quick response time from contractors. My customer service rep. Cyndi is amazing, doing her best and is kind, but can only work with what they give her. I understand they are still building on the other side of our development, but you would think you would like to be proud of what you do, not just be sloppy and fast as possible. Overall the experience was long, tedious due to shipping delays and joyful at the end. The sales team, financial team and customer service team are outstanding. The on site management are nice and seem willing to do what they can, but didn't always follow through. At the end of the day. I have crooked colum in the front in my house the superintendent promes to fixed he never came back the selant around the the doors and trim is very bad I have paint in the floor in all house the vents in the matter rom not working the doorbell doesn't work l have paint I the floor in the front of my garage bad experience with the home the $416000 dollars bad contractors the grass in the back yard l have big Holes my son he fell and broken bone

The people are amazing, great at their jobs, efficient and attentive with great personalities and customer service. I recommend using Lennar’s services every step of the way through the entire process. They made it incredibly efficient and easy.

Great floorplan and upgrades. Drywall, paint, and details around the house have been quite shoddy. The electrical breaker for the dryer outlet was never installed! How did that even pass inspection??

Our construction manager, Eric, was the best! He was always available to answer questions. He was very professional and on point with his work. He always handled everything with a smile and his tone never changed for the worse. He is an excellent CM and because of him, I would buy a Lennar home again! He delivers what he promises and on time! He even went the extra mile on closing and after closing to ensure we were set with our purchase. Hire Eric again for your next project!!!

Terrible experience. Cheapest products. All the way to closing. Never buying a lennar home again.

Till Today - 2nd Aug'22, The builder has not completed the work which they supposed to complete. It's a worst experience we all still have with Lennar. Because of you guys on broken sprinkler system.. I paid about $350 just for water. And have no proper response at all.
