Poor drywall finishing, stained carpets, unfinished and missing caulk, appliance cosmetic damage, window openings not even close to being square making blind install difficult, basement finished building columns twisted and not squared, stained interior window, ceiling electrical light fixture loose,

Disappointment in Quality

Seems the subs are very questionable. I have seen 4 homes in addition to mine that had major plumbing problems, including flooding and having to replace flooring. The plumbing contractor must be a very cheap company because the quality is not there. I worry what will happen in 1-5 years based on the issues I have seen so far. Also, landscape work has been awful and they put down dead grass and don't bother to replace it. All they care about is covering the ground. Not how it looks or fills in.

Lennar - The quality of the workmanship was subpar.

The quality of the workmanship was subpar. Some issues are too large to be resolved, like drywall texture on most walls of the house. Overall lower quality product.

I should get reimbursed the $125 that I paid to get doors shaved off from the bottom. I was told that they will not do it. Then was told that they would after I paid for it.

make sure all items are completed and done properly because you have a great hassle trying to get them resolved with the 'Warranty/customer service dept". Also, really check the outside of your home for slope and drainage... it has been 4 months and the drainage/slop from and between homes has yet to be properly addressed. there are times we have a small bass pond between the homes. it seems there is always something else to blame vs fixing the problem! will strongly stray away from a Lennar build again.

Great Floorplan and Concept - Lackluster and lazy craftsmanship

We love our home. We love the Next-Gen aspect. However, we have had electrical issues, cabinet doors instead of being replaced when drilled wrong, painted over and flipped around. Backyard littered with trash...not just construction materials you would expect. Interior floor a mess when we moved in with adhesive left on it. Some of the outlets look like they are puckered out of the wall. I tired of typing things...

It is a nice neighborhood, the design & rooms in our unit are fair to good. We did have so many issuses to be addressed which took forever until Don ,the construction manager took over, then things started getting fixed, he is a good man. The HOA is Ok as of now , but once the so called resort style pool gets built , then our HOA will more then double which. is very High & Unfair. And I may add when the so called resort style pool gets built it will be a very small pool for the room that is there ,which was & is very misleading. The windows are Terrible, the condensation is overwhelming at ...

Lennar could do better. In an effort to push out as many homes as possible, they missed the mark on quality and service. It’s unfortunate because it could be a great value, and many of the people involved want to provide a better product and experience.

Know what your getting going in to minimize disappointments

  • Nancy H.

Be sure you are totally aware of what you will get going in to avoid disappointment. Closets are outfitted cheaply with coated wire that will need to be replaced sooner than expected. Lennar placed houses without regard for privacy, butting patios and windows directly opposite one another and leaving new owners with challenges. Simple mirror image placement would have solved the issue, but there was no thought about that by Lennon. Similar lack of thoughtfulness was shown in our master bathroom design, where the door was positioned to open directly into the wall with the towel rack, result ...

Sales and our construction manager were the best I’ve ever had throughout my years. Moving from Virginia I had to adjust to the ways of the area. Some materials were at the lower end and some workers didn’t take pride with their job. Still waiting for a warranty item to be fixed for a second time.

Although they did a great job at contacting me but they should hire more quality vendors. The rack or hanging shelf in my master closet came off the wall..right after their vendor fixed, it came off again.. i called Lennar warranty service and tell them the closet wall need additional studs to support the shelf. They were more interested and asking me why the vendor did relocate the shelf or maybe there was too much weight, than listening to my concerns.
