So many building issues are consistently flawed in all the models. In a 6 unit model, all have the same dry wall taping issues, same electrical issues and more. So many corners cut and final product does not reflect what is seen in the models

I had a great experience with Beth as the sales rep. She was great guiding me through the whole process and was very responsive to my questions: via phone, next and email. The quality of the home itself is great so far. However, I am a bit disappointed on the workmanship of the landscaping. California is in a drought and there are many leaks with their irrigation system through out. I have reported them to the association and the landscapers I see at the community and these leaks still have not been repaired. Otherwise, my and family and I, are very happy with our home and the community!

This is the sixth home I’ve purchased and the worst experience I’ve ever had. The mortgage officer does not answer calls or emails and after being replaced, the second one didn’t do that either! The processor repeatly asks for documents she already requested and when I point out that I’ve already sent them… no apologies but instead prolongs the whole process further. The unit itself is acceptable however the swimming pool was supposed to be completed a month ago and still far from complete. Lots of unfinished sloppy work. Being addressed slowly. But have confidence that all will be addressed

The entire Lennar team I interacted with during the process were fantastic. They listen to me, care about my satisfaction with my new home and promptly resolved my issues.

I am trying to give Lennar a good rating but every time I think the warranty service is improving and ready to do their job I am let down. Contractors that are sent to fix a problem do not show up or do half the job. I am lied by the different suppliers all the time. I will give you one of many examples. Defective glass sliding doors. I put in a service request and several weeks later your provider partner calls and makes an appointment for July the thirteenth to replace the doors. The call again a few days later and ask me to take pictures of the defective glass. I spend over an hour taking pictures that were acceptable to the rep. The thirteenth comes and goes. Nobody showed up and nobody called. I give them the benefit of the doubt and after their apologies for the mix up, we reschedule the installation for today July 20th. I called early morning to reconfirm the instruction. I am told the technician is scheduled A photographer not a technician shows up to take pictures of the same door that I had already done and sent in. No technician, no doors,no installation. He tells me to call his Boss. I do but she now decides to communicate via text only. She tells me that it will take 8 to 10 weeks to get the doors from the manufacturer, yet until this morning I was led to believe that the doors would be installed. Of the several conversations I had with the supplier not once did they tell me that the doors would be installed in 8 or 10 weeks. Like this one incident, there are many more. Again very trashy quality and built quality and also material quality day after day getting worst and worst Trash kitchen quality AC Built walls Landscaping Home appliances All very trashy and low quality materials Not worth the price I pay at all Regret to buy from you guys

Overall, home purchasing process was good. The Lennar representatives were very helpful and accommodating. Especially, Klarissa with Stonebook/Ridgeview releases. This only thing we wish is that materials used in this build were of higher quality. We’ve already had to repair the shower after only a few months of use. The home value is compromised when lower quality materials are used in the home.

It went out smoothly

I didn’t have a good experience because the sales person Eileen was never available to answer any questions or concerns. She wasn’t very professional and that ruined my whole experience as a first time home buyer. I was even looking forward to a picture at closing but I couldn’t even get that, everything was rushed and stressful. And moving in I have many issues. The dishwasher wasn’t working, the stair way carpet is a mess, I have a cabinet broken on the inside. So overall its not a great experience for me.

Overall experience was good. Frustrating that outdated technology like landline telephone jacks could not be switched to Ethernet ports and insisted on installing Ring doorbell and sensors. Only dryer connection is gas - electric not an option and considered a customization. Overall quality is good- delivery date 90 days later than originally scheduled due to supply chain and labor issues

Purchasing: the house was appraised for 20k less than listed, which is a positive. Our financing representative convinced us to negotiate our offers, until we met at 5k over the appraisal. We later discovered, through our realtor, that she has never seen anyone pay more than $500 over appraisal. We definitely felt swindled. Realtor: The only services she provided were leaving a key available on a lock box, informing us of the discrepancy in appraisal price after we signed, and sending a low-quality video of a walkthrough of the house. We purchased virtually due to distance and work limitations. The effort provided did not justify the 6% Realtor Fee. House: Trash was left scattered throughout the property, including inside. Concrete, grout, liquid nails left on garage floor and driveway, very difficult to remove. Dried grout in guest bathroom sink. Material: Flooring is cheap, bowing in several areas when we arrived. Pending service request as of two weeks at this time. Crooked tile in master bathroom, cheaply thrown together. "Seat" in master shower is slanted enough that products fall occasionally. Transformer in garage was non-functioning, causing doorbell to be inoperable, had to be replaced within first week. Ring Doorbell was not present, had to request install. Outlet beneath kitchen sink only had one functioning outlet. Replaced within first week. X2 shelves missing from cabinets in kitchen. Service request pending for two weeks as of this time. Sticky residue from floor installation throughout hard floor surface. Several spots of flooring missing finish. No vent in pantry. Becomes warm and humid with door closed. Concrete blowout x2 beneath front door. Service request pending for two weeks as of this time. Garage: not insulated, due to being considered "not a living space". Considered "2 car", we have one sedan and SUV that barely fit together. Highest recorded temperature inside was 115, prior to us insulating it ourselves at own cost. Door is not motorized, installed after move-in at our expense. Appliances: Cheap models. Minimal functions. Purchasing Experience: Pressured to close early, with vague threat of "losing out on current model". As inexperienced as we were, we believed it. New Home Owner paperwork/bundle is still not provided to us. HOA has still not communicated with us yet. Pool: Small for relative size of community. Neighboring community (which we were told should not have access) visit daily. Pool secured with simple code. Water murky and trash overflowing on daily basis. Amenity Center: advertised, but nonexistent. Possibility of HOA lack of communication. There is no love in any of these houses, the fixes are cheap, and the company cuts corners on cost at nearly every opportunity. Examples: window screens are no longer included in new constructions. Only 20 ft of sod is provided to homeowners without the sprinkler systems (more must be added at new owners' expense to avoid yard erosion). No gutters are included on any of these homes. I will not be conducting business with Lennar again. I will not refer anyone, who I genuinely care about, to Lennar or any business associated with Lennar. The quality of work resembles an assembly line with minimal to no quality assurance or attention to detail. It is obvious Lennar builds houses as quickly and cheaply as possible and pressures potential customers into purchasing as quickly as possible, leaving no time to notice discrepancies. We were an ideal family for this business model, as we were purchasing from a distance and had not actually seen the house until we were provided with the low-quality video from the realtor. I love my new Lennar home. The Lennar team was great to work with and I couldn't be happier.

Everyone we have worked with in the Lennar organization has been extremely helpful and responsive. This includes the loan department, sales person who sold the home, the project manager responsible for building our unit and the customer service group which has helped with after sales questions and issues. They have all made this a very positive experience.

We had bad experience with lennar mortgage that at the last minute we closed with a high mortgage rate when we had months before to get paperwork all finished and a lower mortgage rate also we took off work to fly in for a final walk through but they didn’t know we were coming in and wasted our time and money to fly into town and hotel

Overall it was an okay experience. Unfortunately the excitement that comes with buying a home for the first time was deflated a bit when arrived to our home. It was painfully clear that sub-contractors were not held to any sort of standard resulting very poor craftsmanship. QA/QC was not conducted to standard by Lennar’s construction manager. Interior paint barely qualifies as single coat, tiles uneven, large portion of kitchen and bathroom floors were not caulked, nails left protruding through cement in garage, gaps in drywall in utility room, sprinkler system barely covered by dirt in places….the list goes on. We closed remotely making it difficult to assess quality through virtual means, I find it hard to believe the Lennar reps did not notice these issues. It seems as though the Lennar reps knowingly avoided correcting these obvious issues prior to the final inspection. Since moving into our home we have observed the conduct of contractors and Lennar reps during the weeks and days leading up to other virtual closings in our community which only reinforced my belief that most members of the Lennar team do not act in the best interest of the buyer. I have no doubt that I will discover more issues as time goes on; we have only lived in the home for a few weeks. To be fair, Lennar reps were fairly responsive to concerns when we pushed the issue but the quality of work performed to “correct issues” was just as poor as the original work. Tips: Do NOT close remotely, Lennar will take advantage of it. Hire a picky third party inspector and stay attached to his or her hip during by phase inspections. Make sure the inspection package includes a “Warranty Inspection” around the 11 month mark after your closing to fully capture warranties deficiencies. Use your own lender, Lennar’s incentives disappear through crazy math at closing and you’re still stuck with a higher interest rate. Be very thorough during your walk through and insist on re-inspecting prior to closing. ... More

It was horrible I will never recommend this builder to anyone!

Would not buy from them again. Lots of things wrong, from windows that won’t open to gaps in the crown mounding. Not to mention the closing was delayed 5 weeks due to forgotten steps with the city. Made my first home-buying experience very upsetting.

The overall experience was good. The responsiveness from the Lennar team was good. It seemed like the corporate office was looking to close on many homes that they could. A lot of supply chain issues with materials and seemed like they were rushing to complete. The on-site team did their best to address issues that came up. During the walkthrough the house was a mess and still under construction. There are still items that need to be addressed even after the closing. The lennar team is working to resolve the issues. We used Lennar mortgage and they were great especially Lily. She was responsive and helpful. Jordan and Arod in sales were attentive, helpful and provided updates. Not my first Lennar home but will be the last. Home not complete on Closing Day and home has very shoddy workmanship and does not have finishes stated when signing contract. In this very tight market I believe I was taken advantage of and now it’s time to handle. Beware!

Terrible, more than a month and I don’t even have a shower at home worse experience ever. House with a lot of problems. I was trick.

I would like to have gotten the same quality of workmanship that was in the model home. I'm sorry to say that didn't happen and even though they made many many promises to make things right, I know that it won't happen. They only make money by building new homes, not by fixing their mistakes. It makes me sad to know that the quality is not getting any better and they really don't care.

Took a long time to build our house.

There were some minor issues at closing, no Wi-Fi for 10 days and we still don't have any handles on any of our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Also, the guest bathroom does not have and drawers on the vanity sink cabinet. Hopefully these issues will be taken care of in a timely manner. Overall, we are happy with our purchase of a Lennar Condo.
