Though the overall buying experience was ok, there are poor quality workmanship including a big chip of wood lost in the main door near the lock. Shocked how a big builder like Lennar could miss such basic quality checks.

1-extremely disappointed in the lawn. Sod looks like it was laid by a child because there are gaps galore! The seed that was laid on the sides and back almost refuse to grow because it was not watered properly or regularly prior to us moving in. There are brown areas all over. The dirt used was the wrong dirt and wasn't graded because there are so many rocks and stones like construction dirt was used. I had to throw down more seed, i water twice faily, and am only getting patches of grass. Whoever the lawn company is, why don't they come on the same day of the week? We were told it would be every Friday but they've come on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 2-why is Lennar in charge of the HOA? BC Communities has all the say not the residents. It shouldn't matter how many people are in the community. At least one of us should be allowed on the board. 3-workmanship on our house SUCKS. We see where they've screwed up but tried to hide the imperfection with paint, caulk, or putty. There are even faults they didn'rt fix! 4-we were told there was an old cemetary by the tree line across the new road from us, but that was a lie because it's right next to our house! 5-why is there no activites director? WE NEED ONE! 6-the house is not senior friendly. The windows are too high and are single hung indtead of double. There are no bars in the shower and we weren"t given the option. The shower isn't easy to get in and out of because yhe bottom piece is too high. 7-because our previous house sold in 2 days and the buyers wanted to move within 30 days we were in a bind. We wanted to buy in Bridgeville but would have had to wait several months for the house to be built so we kept looking and voila! You had one already built and we could move in pretty quickly. It was not that easy as I assumed to buy a home with Lennar, very poor and little cooperation from seller and especially the mortgage team.Due to the unavailability of the Mortgage person i had to go with higher rate of interest. Very little information was provided on house construction status and have refused to change closing date to 2 days before due to my availability. Apart from it I have referred 5 of my friends who bought the house and no referral bonus was provided. The issues addressed during the orientation were not even addressed. Overall it was a bad experience.

Concrete sidewalk poured 2 hours before heavy rain. Sod not staked down and all moved during rain. Dead tree planted in backyard. Ants everywhere inside. No one from Lennar cares to make it right.

Financing was a nightmare

I am happy with the quality of the home. If lennar finishes swimming pool, children's play ground, and other amenities listed asap- I think it will be really helpful for us. Thank you

The buying experience went well. The issues we are having is post close follow up and quickly resolving our issues instead of making excuses of why not.

Sinc the closing, more and more problems have appeared.... Ugh

So the sales process is very easy. Great mortgage rate towards the closing costs. Now here is where it goes sideways. We had a leak in the laundry room, all a Lennar issue. Took them 6 weeks to deal with it and it is still not fixed. Tiling issue in the kitchen, not yet resolved. Would I buy again, no, this is not a good company and the price reflects that they cut corners everywhere!!!!

It was not pleasant. Overall disappointed in the process and trust me, I’ve done this many times. I will say that warranty has been much better than the sales, mortgage and construction.

Once items were not resolved on the punch list we were passed to many different individuals and did not appear it was any one specific individual's job to resolve the house to get us to close. Do not recommend the mortgage team for the same reason. I would not purchase through Lennar again based on this experience.

I pay extra for this lot , thinking offers privacy but the lot is full off low quality clay dirt. So its useles nothing can be planted on it when it rain takes long to drain ,when its dry is hard like rock and crack..

Would never purchase another home from them ! Poor workmanship and very cheap materials !

Our sales rep Ashley was awesome but after we got into the process we were hit with so many websites and “individuals” in charge. Most never contacted us or just sent another thing to do, no consistency. Was never asked or consulted on my interest rate or points. The day of our celebratory ( not sure what that means-in other new homes the team showed up and usually had a welcome gift) walk thru the whole company was in a meeting. We had issues and nobody called back. The garage has nails sticking in the garage from the outside. First thing that happened my grandson brushed up against the wall and tore his shirt. The downstairs bathroom construction looked like it was constructed incorrectly. They juryrigged it to close escrow now I need to file a warranty. The loan was sold to someone the day after we closed. Never heard from that new lender. Sent a note to Raegan on what to do she said pay the coupon to Lennar. This week I get a past due notice, different lender, still no introductory letter from the new new mortgage co saying I’m late. I explained that we paid the first payment to Lennar but she said I had to chase that myself. Called Raegan again and asked her to help or pass me to get help. No response. Lastly we purchased this thru a trust. Why then did another sales person know that info about us when my husband went to look at another Lennar development??? I would hope individuals in your company are not gossiping about people they are selling to???? ... More

The craftsmanship is very poor. House left a mess and many simple issues that should have never had to be dealt with. Need to improve on quality control.

First off. Praise the Lord for this home. Tbh my ratings are probably low because of the TERRIBLE experience we had with the lady salesperson. Worst Communication Ever!!!. She closed the deal and was almost impossible to reach after that. We also went with another lender because of almost as bad finance communication. But… the pre sale walk thru guy was awesome! And. The warranty guy has been great so far!

Here are the list of issues we noticed within a month. 1. Sump pump outlet is not clued and after first rain, water leaked in basement. 2. Patio door and net are not installed properly. Even after fixing it, it is not smooth to open and close. 3. There is no power outlet is island. 4. 4 door having opening and closing issues. It is hard and giving sound when opening and closing. My kid is having trouble to open bathroom in living floor and we have to stay outside every time. 5. The walkway between main door and driveway is not in same level of driveway which makes kids to fell every time. This might be bigger problem in winter :( ... More

Lennar not offering their standard home offers. They are taking advantage of the buyers in this area because the homes are needed. Quick builds, unskilled laborers making big mistakes and not fixing. Forcing warranty repairs immediately after closing because these workers do not do their best. Houses are way over priced for materials and quality of work done. Work sites are a mess, constant garbage and debris.

We are still learning important rules and regulations that we were not told when looking to buy. Payments made to four different entities. Discovered poor workmanship on several areas

The materials used do not match the price point of the house. It’s across the entire neighborhood. From the house materials, to the inside, to the outside. Here is an example that is almost laughable. The sod they installed was found to be Bermuda grass that was over-seeded with Rye grass It looks awful to say it nicely. They tried to tell us it was because we allowed weeds to grow, multiple landscapers said they were wrong and trying to cover their tracks. They figured it out at some point because the newer houses have lovely Bermuda. Some are more unfortunate than me - their yard is half over-seeded rye and have nice Bermuda. It is laughable (I have to laugh or I’ll cry) I’m surprised they allow people to tour our neighborhood. Another example - the corner cabinet shelves are too big for the space. They literally cannot sit on the holders correctly. The manager “fixed” it by taking a holder out and HITTING the cabinet into place. I can’t move them… Ugh, the paint job around the house. I just can’t keep going - the stories are too long and seem unbelievable. ... More

Make sure punch list items are done before closing.

The two people that started out helping me were awful. The last person that helped me from Arizona was amazing. Everything that was suppose to be completed before close wasn't completed. The door jams suck and always move down and allows the wind to be howling all day and night. If I had to do over I wouldn't have purchased this house. Now I am just waiting until I pay off enough or the price of the house goes up so I can sell it or maybe I will look into renting it out.

This home built quality is 5 out of 10, things left unfinished, they used the cheapest materials, walls get scuffed up and damaged very easily. Outside ground under lawn is very soft, you walk over it and you will sink about 3 4 inches. Walls are not built straight, they just want to make money on you. If you comment about their work because you seen too many unprofessional workmanship on the house, they don’t like the way you talk with them. Any body gets mad for the bad quality of house they get. We paid for it at least they can do is do good quality work, even if they using cheap materials. There are more stuff to say but don’t have time for it.
