Pretty good experience. We are upgrading a couples items in the home.

If you are looking in the 55+ category you should check out a Lennar community. We starting by chatting with Ekaterina who explained all the model options and communities beforehand so we knew which community in PA to focus on. We made our appointment with Brighid who was patient, efficient and showed us great models in Meadows at Hillview to select from. Brighid communicates every step of the way and was a pleasure to deal with. Each home comes complete with a good variety of upgrades included. Some developers nickel & dime you for everything including outlets, tile and hardwoods but not Lennar. The whole buying process was automated and there even is Lennar Mortgage with great mortgage rates & terms. Better hurry there almost 1/2 way done with building these cape cod style homes here. We also met Cheryl on the day of our closing who was great as well and helped us with some last minute details. I was quite impressed by the construction manager's responses to our questions and concerns. Also, after closing, Lennar responded very promptly on the problem reports. One area that we wish to have a better/quicker response was the financial area.

Stay on top of things, that you see wrong. Get a home inspector for pre drywall and final inspection. I have doors the stick because of the way they painted and hung the door. Over 6 door that are coming apart and peeling..I am disappointed quality of a over half a million home…

Overall the experience was good and I’m enjoying my home. However, there are some things that could have been done better for the price.

Like Lennar homes floor plans.

The quality of work from the trades is horrible. It’s a shame there are so many issues with homes at this price point. The emphasis seems to be on closing homes, and correcting the issues afterwards, rather than staying on top of issues during the home building process.

Several outstanding warranty issues have not been resolved nor any attempt to fix them. Deena my construction manager and warranty contact will not respond and fix MANY ITEMS THAT WERE NOTED SINCE PRIOR TO MOVE IN DATE. Customer service at this community is the worst I have ever experienced. I have purchased multiple new construction homes since 1991 and Lennar is by far the worst experience I have had. Deena is terrible! I have broken tile; granite counter top; incomplete landscaping; weeds all around my home; a nasty rusty nail sticking out of the concrete in the garage; my AC unit is not working; terrible mismatched pain job throughout the house. These items were noted in final walk through approximately 5/18/22 and not one of them are fixed! I see Lennar rapidly completing new homes to sell and make a profit but has COMPLETELY NEGLECTED TO FIX THE ITEMS IN MY HOME. Absolutely ridiculous. I would like to work with a different construction/warranty manager as Deena is not doing her job and has demonstrated zero effort in resolving my warranty issues. Not the quality I was expecting.

The home was given to me in a complete mess. Now, Lennar expects me to be available all the time to schedule appointments with each individual company for the many issues that the house has. This is a full time job for which I don’t have the time as I work full time. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase of a house.

Overpriced, contractors should do the job correct the first time, problems should be fixed ASAP, communications need to be more verrbal. Just disaattiiffiied

Gina was very helpful, thorough and proactive in guiding us through the home purchase. John, our builder, did a great job getting the house completed on schedule and giving us a warm welcome and thorough walk through on the closing day.

Weekly building updates were awesome while building especially living out of state. Still waiting on some needed repairs since we moved in. All in all it was a good experience.

Overall experience was OK. We bought a spec home and we’re super frustrated that we were not able to make any upgrades. We wanted to pay more money and weren’t able to. Very frustrating.

From sales, to mortage, to title, the experience was among the worst ever. These guys are spread thin and delivering below average quality across the board!

There was no last minute surprises. I would have been more happy if Lennar mortgage matched the competition rates. I went with the other. Quality is ok. Lawn grading is sun optimal. Everything included gives Ring System but does not give it installed!!

I’ll start by saying I’m frustrated which in turn makes me angry. This is my first experience with buying a new home I’ve owned several home in the past none new. I was excited at the possibilities. I closed on May 27th and moved in on May 31st. I agreed to purchase my home on Jan. 31st, 2022, I was giving numerous closing dates which proved to be challenging for different reasons none of which matter now. The process with purchasing the home through Lennar was relatively pain free, I had good communications with all the entities even when I got to the final closing it was well done. 11PM at a McDonalds in Deming NM! Now I must vent about my purchase. I’ll start by saying my reported challenges have been addressed promptly. I do feel it’s in Lennar’s best interest to see and understand my frustrations. First the cleanness of the home, the floors were a mess the counters and floors have a sticky substance that is difficult to remove also paint and drywall mud. All of which could have been prevented by covering the floor while they work. I’m 62 years old and for me to have to crawl around on my hands and knees trying to clean the floors and counters is unacceptable (I still don’t have them clean enough) all the surfaces in the home were covered in a fine dust. It would be in Lennar’s best interest if you had a cleaning crew come in before new homeowners arrive with their belonging. I spent an entire day cleaning before my movers arrived. Next is the garage I know not much in the big picture, but the floor is a mess and not easy to clean once you move in. The overall design of the house has its challenges. No medicine cabinets in the bathroom, the kitchen cabinets are small and not positioned in a user-friendly manner, the pantry is to small even for one person, there’s no linen closet. I’ve had to spend thousands of dollars for storage solutions. I guess these are things you need to look for when purchasing a home, we all know what happens when we assume these are standard items in a home. I’ve had a chance to meet some of my neighbors and we all have the same concerns. Next Screens or lack of, I was shocked when I brought it up and was told you don’t provide screens! Who installs windows without screens. I’ve talked to varies neighbors and they received screens They said they had to fight for them, but they got them! The window company Avanti has no interest in supplying screens I’ve left messages twice without a return call. Now for the basic workmanship (deplorable) drywall mud spilled on the baseboard and painted over.Baseboards not finished. Grout repair with mismatching grout. My plumbing backed up after 10 days. The plumbing company responded promptly; it took another day to fix. My front yard had to be torn up the problem was unbelievable Hopefully it’s fixed, after seeing the problem I have my doubts. My master bathroom shower was still not draining I had to wait another day for the inside plumbing crew to fix it. Two days without a working shower. My yard had to be restored. This has happened to others on this street, it can be as simple as running a camera down during final plumbing inspection to prevent this from happing. I’m sure this has cost the company a tremendous amount of money and is another reason you have frustrated homeowners. I understand finding qualified workers is a challenge and was one of the reasons for the delay in finishing the home. Hiring shilled labor, professionals who take pride in there work even if you must pay more would be so worth it in the long run. Its obvious to those of us who have purchased or are renting Lennar homes that the people you hired are unskilled and could care less about the finished product. And that’s too bad. Out of four neighbors I’ve spoken with personally not one would consider a Lennar home in the future. I know I “only” purchased a $300K home but with the attention to detail that I’ve experienced when I’m ready for a $500K home I won’t consider Lennar. My neighbors are a young couple renting for a year to see if the like the area, they told me today they would never consider a Lennar home. Again, too bad because the selling, mortgage, title and Insurance part of your company is good. That’s it for my rant today, I feel with the right people driving the building train and some conscientious skilled labor you could make this a much better experience and possibly have repeat customers. ... Beutiful homw, great quality, finally found my forever homw!

Overall, the house buying experience was great but it was annoying at first when Lennar transitioned to a bid form for each release. Additionally, the house construction was extremely delayed but Lennar did their best to make us aware of the upcoming schedule changes and reasons why. I loved knowing that I was getting almost everything I had seen in the model home minus some minor changes due to supply chain issues. I wish we had been made more aware of the material changes so we could request an alternate (not a fan of the lights in my kitchen that were installed versus what the model house had but oh well..) Lennar has been extremely responsive to issues we have been finding now that we are living in the house so that is amazing. Bought sight unseen. Never received alarms/internet stuff. Had to ask after we moved in. A/C didnt work, garage door opener doesnt work, tiles are cracked, dryer smells like its on fire. We have a long list. We have a virtual meeting today and still havent received an email about how that works

We had an overall great experience with Lennar. Closed on time and no major issues with house in past month. Matt in sales was great as well as Brandon and Cason on the construction side.
