Overall my experience with Lennar was good. When I purchased late year in November of 2021, Lennar just acquired Realstar Homes who built most of the homes in the community. One of the issues I had was that Lennar didn’t allow me to choose my own options and decked everything out themselves. Luckily it looks amazing, but I just think it wasn’t cool at the time plus there was no shower door included. The unit itself is very functional and built solid! Our salesman, Paul C. was great. Our builder Darrel M. could have been MUCH more responsive and more communicative.

The home was functional. There were quality control issues as with any new home, perhaps more-so in my case with plumbing. My issues were on on what you get for the price you pay for these homes is not the best quality, laminated cabinets that chip easily. Lennar forced a bid approach when the pandemic happened. While not unusual, this process was very clunky, and we saw huge delays in closing. Overall I was pleased with the people-aspect but not much else in the buying experience.

Subcontractors: the attention to detail is lacking. No home will ever be perfect but you can tell when a subcontractor cares about the quality of work they complete. These subcontractors left carpet being lifted up in corners, paint on the baseboards, more paint needed on the walls, and the sod is absolutely ridiculous. There are seperations between sod spots the size of my foot. Lennar- If Lennar truly cares about the communities they are building they will have the common grounds sodded and the subcontractors pick up their messes. I continuously pick up trash in my back yard, had gravel sitting in my newly laid sod (which I laid myself) for the last week. Project Managers and Community Managers- They are all great, but its clear they are stretched thin. Lots of potential but I have been let down with the 25-30 items existing on my 30 day walk through. Totally enjoy the community, however the homes are built with the basic cheapest materials

Quality on paint job was poor. The day of walk thru so many were pointed out. Appliance quality is poor especially washer is poor. Poor job on hard wood floor Pull out shelves should be standard for a 55 plus community.

the quality of home is not up to the mark, closing was rush. There are many things that are not fixed, done, or ready upon the closing of the homes. After moving in, a lot of issues were found and took almost a month to fix most of things.

I am sad to be giving such a poor review when I absolutely love our home and had a great experience with so many of the team. I will start with the good parts. I love the home, the location, and the Lennar product. Rick the construction manager and Dana the Customer Service manager have been simply wonderful all throughout. Alex from Lennar mortgage was fabulous and though we had bumps on the road he moved mountains to help turn things around and was patient with our technology imperfections. Sadly, Jonathan and Marcelle on the realtor side left what should have been an amazing experience of buying our dream home an unresolved bitter experience. We were supposed to receive keys on May 3rd. We arrived to a red carpet, banner, and amazing customer service from Rick and Dana. Within minutes we received a call that due to a breakdown in communication between the mortgage side and the realtor no inspection had been ordered and we could not receive keys that day. Awful and devastating! Movers had been scheduled, work had been missed, landlords had been informed, and penalty fees had been paid. However, my family was willing to regroup and be flexible to resolve everything to get moved into our dream home. All we needed was communication and empathy. What we received was a drastic difference in customer service between the 2 departments. Alex from mortgage and his team moved heaven and earth, apologized, and checked in on us during what ended up being 3 weeks before we could actually move in. Jonathan blamed mortgage, my family (for a lack of understanding of information he never provided), and showed zero empathy. I ended up having to talk to his supervisor Marcelle. I had to place multiple calls before she would speak with me. When we did speak she showed some empathy but placed the blame solely on mortgage despite acknowledging Jonathan's bad customer service labeling it a "coaching opportunity". We expressed our appreciation but requested also to be made whole from all the financial impact these errors had caused. We did not want to profit just reimbursement for the real financial impact all this had caused. Marcelle said she would email someone and follow up. It is a month and a half later and Marcelle has never called back. We've left multiple voicemails, asked assistance from others who route us back to her, last week I received an email that she "would be willing to speak with me", I requested a time and have heard nothing once again... We were promised the house would be cleaned before moving in. On the date of moving in, the house was dirty with dirt and debris all over the inside and outside of the house. When mentioned to the team, they just brushed it off. This was extremely unprofessional. I would like to recognize Rachel Klippenstein, she has always been helpful throughout the purchasing process.

DO NOT SEND US MORE EMAILS OR DO NOT CONTACT US ANYMORE. Lennar is the worst company to work with. I will encourage all my friends not to use you as an option.

Oversold knowing they didn't have supplies, months overdue, and morgage company not in the best interest for the consumer. Overall D- in the experience with lennar, I would not recommend a Lennar home.

Do not buy with this builder. All they care about is money and not the customer. My realtor even said this is the worst builder she has ever dealt with and will not recommend this builder to any of her clients ever again.

In this crazy market Lennar made my experience very positive, easy and timely. From Ronnie to Louie, they were right on time with their target dates. The loan process and move in we’re flawless; very happy and excited with my purchase. I thank you all!

House had no options to change. You get only what comes with the house.

First of all, my last name is incorrect. Even in this email for review. I sent at least 10 email and had 5 phone calls over this issue. Half of my paperwork has the wrong name. Same with my dad‘s name, it’s spelled wrong. Even on closing date to sign the docs for the title we had to go a second time, even then it was wrong. So we signed them with the name spelled wrong. After the closing, I still get emails, requesting documents. Even now after 2 months. It’s very unprofessional and annoying. We want to enjoy our home but we have issues after issues. This is my 3rd Lennar home, and thank god I did not expierence this level of unprofessionalism. I’m beyond disappointed with every step. The overall homebuying process was one of the most stressful and unpleasant things I've ever been through... That being said, we'd do it all over again. We originally went into contract in 10/2021. Our purchase was contingent on the sale of our (at the time) current residence. Lennar made us agree that we would close on the sale of our current home by the beginning on 12/2021 in order to move into our new (Lennar) home in 1/2022. We held up our end of the contract, they did not, and as time went on it was very clear everyone knew there was no way the home would be done by then. Our family was left without a place to live until the end of 5/2022, when we moved in. We were told to "just stay with family" or "find temp housing". Both my husband and I are from other parts of the state/country with no local family and temp housing that accepts pets was very costly. Lennar agreed to reimburse us for the difference between the temp housing and our new house payment, but that still would have required us to front the nearly $20k+ it would have cost. Title was THE WORST. Their emails were rude, they were VERY unresponsive and they weren't always completely honest. We were passed along to 3 different sales agents and I was never really sure who was calling/texting me - That being said, Amy, Victoria and Amanda (who I spoke to the majority of the transaction) were all very nice and patient with me. The only way we could get reasonably accurate time frames/updates was to come to the homesite and speak to the construction team - I have nothing but positive things to say about Russ, Shane and Jason. We were the first ones in this series to move-in (so they're still out here building) and they are still super helpful when we have questions, minor fixes, etc. Ultimately, we found out we recorded at 5:09pm on the final day of closing... the day our rate lock expired. Needless to say, by the time they called me, I was in tears. We were told via phone we closed and given a lockbox code so we could come to the home and let ourselves in. No gift basket, no welcome note, nothing I expected from a company as esteemed as Lennar. In fact, to date, I've never met any of our sales agents. In the end, Lennar is reimbursing us for the cost of our movers and storage, they credited us $2300 on the purchase of the home and they covered the first 5 business days of gas/electric/water services. In the end, we LOVE our home. The craftmanship is better than we expected from a tract builder, the finishes are beautiful and we LOVE our new neighborhood. We're within walking distance of 3 really nice parks, with a very large soccer/baseball complex going in as we speak. Even if we knew how awful the experience would be before going into contract, we still would have moved forward with the purchase because we are so in love with our new home/neighborhood. ... More

Some inconsistent information received during purchasing and building experience. Satisfied with the house but hoping the quality lasts as long as it should.

My best advise to anyone purchasing a new home today is to be patient but also diligent. Lennar does their best to manage the supply chain and labor challenges. Since moving in 4 weeks ago, we have encountered issues that required significant repairs. All can be contributed to poor sub-contractor performance. At the end of the day, the onsite project manager went above and beyond to make things right for us. Lennar needs to hire more leaders like Evan.

Faced some issues like AC was wrong installed by Airtron which caused water leak but Felicity Garza immediately took action and send different company (Airteam) to get it fixed, she is extremely helpful. She was and is always available to solve our problems. She resolved lot of our issues one by one. Lennar is a good brand name and we trust them. My previous house was also from Lennar where we stayed 6 years and extremely satisfied customer of Lennar.

From the sales agent to the customer care rep, Lennar ensures that the buyer is totally satisfied with their home. The all is included is great, but should also include a washer/dryer and refrigerator...or at least have options to chose from so that they are installed when transfer of ownership occurs or an opted-out ability should the buyer want to provide their own. When moving long distance, a "complete" home would have been preferred.

There is no clear communication on who should we reach out to in case of any support required. Also, I was disappointed that support takes a long time to respond to any help.
