Lennar did not stand with there name to provide the quality. With Lennar I aspected to provide quality workmanship.

We love the area and the home. However, the communication was atrocious. It got to the point where it would take up to two weeks to get a response, and at times we never got an answer to questions we had. Come on Lennar you have to do better than this.

I have yet to receive any follow up from my original walkthrough from closing nearly two months ago. The response has been unacceptable.

I have not been pleased with this decision.

I was a cash buyer. I wasn't happy with working with Title company. Customer care after purchase was very disappointed. There was fuse breaker issue with Refrigerator. I requested 5 times and ask sales rep then they finally contact me to fix it. My wooden floor got water damage due to late fix. Water filter in refrigerator leaked due to fuse keeps pop out and ice maker turned off and leak waters on the floor. I have been purchased new home more than 5 times, Lennar was very unprofessional.

This has been a heck of a ride. The Lennar salesperson is great to deal with. Very charismatic and attentive. Unfortunately, as the salesperson, his work doesn't continue up to actual ownership and that is where the problem with Lennar lies. I highly suggest that if you buy from Lennar to get your own third-party inspector involved in the building process as soon as possible. There will be issues, trust me. Many of those will have already been singled out by the time if their New Home Orientation, where they promise that everything identified then will be fixed by the closing date. That didn't happen. It's been over a month, and there are still outstanding issues. The most frustrating one is how we informed that there were issues with the sod during this New Home Orientation process and the Lennar Warranty rep assured us it would just settle in and be fine, and that the sod would not be covered by warranty. But it was improperly installed, and that was identified before closing! So now I have to deal with dead grass, HoA citations because of it, and even though Lennar had been informed about it before we closed, they refuse to fix their improper sod work. We also have a grading issue that's been reported for a few weeks now. They insist that the construction manager will be in contact with us to assess it and fix it. No contact from him. We had a pretty attentive construction manager before closing, but they swapped him out after we moved in and the new one is non-existent. A whole bunch of things that should have been done in the period between the New Home Orientation weren't done. We're still waiting for a CO2 detector that they never installed. An unpainted wall that was identified during NHO took them about a month to get to, I'm still waiting for them to send their external painters to handle walls that were not properly covered outdoors. Their builders continue to build houses close by and they carelessly move their equipment around, which caused them to punch a hole in the curb on my house and Lennar refuses to do anything about it. This isn't even going into all the small defects such as broken cabinets, gaps in the walls, nails sticking out from the kitchen island, the incorrectly installed washing machine. Seriously, it seems like Lennar hires builders and contractors that are doing this for the first time in their lives and their warranty department will do everything in their power not to help. There are some nice features in the house. We were not allowed to change anything even though we were willing to pay for tile in all rooms. We had a home inspector inspect the house and he made a list of things that were not done correctly in early August. We are still trying to get the last of those items finished and it is October 11th. We were not told the truth and closed on the house after being assured that all the repairs were completed only to find out that at l1 items were still not completed. For the most part the warranty repair people are much better than the original people that built the house. They have been very good to work with and do a quality job. ... More

The sales agent we worked with was fantastic and the mortgage person was fantastic too and got us a great rate. On the builder side, however, there were issues and delays. In several walks of the house, I listed several issues with the construction team and many of those issues went unsolved and as we live in the house, they continue to remain unsolved.

How does a home that is priced for more than a million dollars not have a duel zoned air conditioner when it has two stories? Why is it necessary to resubmit requests to get the smoke alarms to work correctly? Why is the home delivered with a cracked powder room sink? We just wanted our new home to be new and functional.

Quality and workmanship is poor.

The product Lennar offers includes more than other builders. But I can’t believe that we got cheap hollow doors, builder grade mirrors and closets and other base level options for a 1.5 million dollar house, and no option to leave them out if you want to upgrade. Plus, we have had water damage and a leak over a month and it’s still not fixed. Not terribly impressed.

Beware of the quality of work done! Lennar just contract everything to third parties. Quality depends on the mercy of third party contractors workmanship. When you leisurely inspect yourself you will find several issues/problems. I would avoid Lennar given a chance!

Decent value for the money . Read your contract you don't get all what you see in there show houses. Lucky I'm not a lawyer there would probably be a class action suit.

Jennifer, our sales associate was great, from there we had a subpar experience--Overall I feel grateful and blessed as we are dealing with 1st world problems now, but......

The work on the punch list that we discussed on our walk through prior to closing were not completed as promised. I revisited 4 weeks later to find the disappointment. I understand that the build isn’t a custom home build but the issues should have been addressed

Very dissatisfied with a few issues

Doors were never touched up before moving in, had to repaint ourselves. Kitchen cabinet is crooked. Flooring is raised in certain spots, back fence is already separating & we have only been here 1 month. For what we paid, I expected a higher quality of workmanship.

The Customer Care unit doesn't rate even a one star. Closed on July 7 and still waiting on warranty work to be completed two months later. Not one person will follow through on anything.

House looks great. Quality lacks in many aspects from poor electrical wiring, poor workmanship for ejecutivas outlets, poor workmanship for nailing especially in garage, painting lacks quality, and so on. Then to get things fixed you wait for several weeks, if they get fixed at all. You also get offered things in the community that never happen. Just don’t believe what Lennar states.

We knew upfront the home was overpriced, but found its size and views very appealing. However, many defects were detected during our “blue tape” walkthrough — way too many for a brand new home, which should have been a red flag to us that workmanship was a big issue. After moving into the home we quickly learned how “sub-standard” most of the appliances, fixtures, and workmanship were. The dishwasher, washer, and dryer were mediocre at best, and all had to be replaced due to being loud and annoying. All 3 toilets were replaced. Light fixtures are cheap and their placements are not logical. Most faucets are cheap, with some (kitchen faucet and laundry) being chrome over plastic. We have now spent an excessive amount of money just to bring the home’s quality and workmanship in-line with its initial advertised value. Bottomline: our biggest concern is workmanship and value for money. Our future NEW home purchases will not include Lennar. ... More

At the beginning of the purchase, everything went smoothly and fast. When closing came the house was inspected and a few things were defective. The workers had left broken tiles on the roof some were replaced but not all of them. The laundry room had a bad connecting outlet for the washer machine we had to replace. My refrigerator had no water nor ice coming out they promised it would immediately get fixed here We are two month later and no one has been able to fix it, Apparently the water hose was never connected to the water line under the kitchen sink. The front door knob and garage still have the temporary knobs used for construction. They claim they are still under order even after closing two months ago. I can’t access the bottom part we have no key access. We had to come in through the garage for the first couple of weeks until we figured out how to use the top part with code access. We spoke to the builder manager for help and customer care. Everything has been nothing but excuses no one seems to want to help. They still have me waiting… ... More

Our experience with the Lennar representative as wonderful. If it were not for Laura , I believe , the builder would not release the home. We were committed to buy and the PRICE WENT UP THOUSANDS! This is downright criminal. The construction manager Reese was also a pleasure to work with concerning repair issues. The problem is the craftsmanship of these workers who are hired to build and repair and address all kinds of issues. I have one serious remaining issue with drainage that I have contacted to address the problem. My wife and I are basically happy with the home and area. Miller Brothers and BNR both do half-crocked work. Miller Brothers break fiber optic cables and home owners are left to get the problem fixed. . They don’t care what they break and Lennar doesn’t help with getting the cable repaired. BNR puts sprinkler heads in our yard that belong to our neighbors and also puts the heads right on the property line. Told the construction manager we were putting up a fence on the property line so they knew not to put the sprinkler heads on the property line, but did it anyway. Construction managers are unresponsive to community members complaints. Overall, the landscaping has been a cruddy experience. Told in June the landscaping was going to start, didn’t go in until August. Perhaps Lennar need to rethink who they contract out for grading yards as well as the irrigation systems. Very incompetent people. North Metro was the best, but they, too, added sod where we had it flagged off. Lennar needs to do better. Seems that once Lennar has their money, they don’t care about the home owners. I would rate the construction managers, Miller Brothers and BNR a 1 for very poor communication and workmanship. ... Home inspection personnel were not helpful and comprehensive during the inspection. Too much in hurry to get it done Much left unexplained.

I originally signed for my home to start construction on March 2022 with a tentative date of completion for October 2022 but the home was not delivered until July 2023. The home itself was delivered up to par in terms of quality and everything so far has been working well. My only complaint again is that the home took way too long to complete, in fact, I visited my lot every week and for months and months, there was no progress made in its construction until about 4 or 5 months before July. When I expressed my concerns to my sales rep he said there were delays in materials and labor, but other homes that started construction way after mine were more advanced in the process than mine. So in other words, people who signed their contract months after me got their homes delivered faster than me by like 3 months approximately. Which seems unfair given that I signed my contract before they did. ... More
