Workman ship is terrible. Truly a mess, so many things don't fit correctly, a lot of damage to new cabinets put in, putty filling is awful, cement work is terrible, I couldn go on but no point. Taking a long time to see problems resolve, so far one item out of approximately 20.

I still have someone else’s ring box at my house because the builders were careless and have no idea where mine is. So someone else has mine and can log into my camera in front of my house. My customer care coordinator told me it was rings problem.

We like our home a lot but somethings were done poorly, We had a broken cabinet when we moved in and called customer service someone said they would come fix it but never did and frankly we shouldn't have anything broken in a brand new home. We had a few other hiccups but overall we like our home and our community.

My house did not appraise for the sale price and that effected my down payment and interest. It was a fiasco. Since I moved in I’ve submitted several work orders and had slow response for each.

I have been in my home almost 12 weeks and I’m still waiting on some things to be finished. I do understand that supply and labor shortages may have impacted it but it’s been a long wait and I’m ready for my home to be completed. Other homes under construction have been getting supplies so why has it taken so long to get mine? Overall I’m happy with my home but that has been frustrating.

Our sales contact, Gyorgyi, and loan officer, Anna, were knowledgeable and provided a great customer service experience. The CM, Brian, assigned to manage the build and conduct the NHO and NHC was not warm. I think this was a miss, because these walk throughs are meant to be an exciting time for homeowners but I felt more like a burden for asking that issues be addressed. Some of the things I requested during the walk through weren’t fixed prior to receiving the keys and when I reached out afterwards I was told to open a ticket. The ticketing system is inconsistent, for some issues we are able to get things addressed quickly while others we do not get a call back. Realtor team was good, one issue with Lennar homes is they don’t pay for your realtor. Builder seems to be looking out for themselves multiple issues came up had a hard time getting things fixed. Craftsmanship needs work attention to detail not high-quality products. Landscaping was mediocre already had to replace grass. Overall 3 out of 5 would go with a different builder if I can do it again.

My financial team was amazing, especially Alex! They did everything they could for me from the darkest of days to the last few days of joy! The building team, not so much. The walk through's, where we kept finding errors and sloppy or unfinished work, seemed to be an inconvenience for them. They couldn't get us to sign off fast enough. By the time of the last walk through i gave up on asking them to remove red paint marks,, blue tape on all borders of the carpet and paint on the carpet. Then they said they would fix the last 4 major items... 2 months later.. still waiting for them to finish Asking for work orders is an easy process, but don't expect follow through or quick response time from contractors. My customer service rep. Cyndi is amazing, doing her best and is kind, but can only work with what they give her. I understand they are still building on the other side of our development, but you would think you would like to be proud of what you do, not just be sloppy and fast as possible. Overall the experience was long, tedious due to shipping delays and joyful at the end. The sales team, financial team and customer service team are outstanding. The on site management are nice and seem willing to do what they can, but didn't always follow through. At the end of the day. Follow up on service requests are slow and incomplete. Not what I expected from Lennar. Very disappointed

Love the house however there has been numerous issues. Took 14 months instead of the 4 months I was told it would take to build. Had about 3 sales contacts after making down payment and a period with no contact for updates on home progress due to high staff turnover. New Home Sales Consultant is hard to reach but Warranty Customer Service is very responsive. House appears well built, but electrical ground rod was left protruding through grass, contractor tractor drove over cable tower causing damage and deep tire tracks in lawn, nail was left protruding through porch floor, contractor left empty water bottle in attic (ADT installer found it when running wires through attic for alarm/camera system), empty water bottles and construction material was left in grass so I wasn't surprised garbage was left in attic. House also delivered without sod in front which HOA sent email about 10 days after moving in. This has been addressed by Lennar, but landscapers installed dead grass so will have to follow-up on that again. Seems like issue is with the contractors. Some doing good work and others doing sloppy work. Warranty department is responsive in regard to addressing aforementioned and other issues, but seem to have a hard time getting reliable contractors to address issues. It's been 2 months and some issues like separating pavers in drive way and exterior paint touch ups have not been addressed yet. Homes were also built without gutters and pavers are not sealed so home owners have to address themselves. Love the layout and look of my house though, inside and out. Appliances are okay. I had good experience starting from initial deposit till closing. However I found issues with quality of workmanship and materials which were resolved to some extent but not fully. Other downside was experience with Lennar mortgage and did not had expected experience. Other improvement required is speed in response to issues created for maintenance requests which are part of warranty.

I didn’t have a good experience because the sales person Eileen was never available to answer any questions or concerns. She wasn’t very professional and that ruined my whole experience as a first time home buyer. I was even looking forward to a picture at closing but I couldn’t even get that, everything was rushed and stressful. And moving in I have many issues. The dishwasher wasn’t working, the stair way carpet is a mess, I have a cabinet broken on the inside. So overall its not a great experience for me.

The good: I like the floorplan and love the neighborhood we moved into. Enjoyed working with the sales person that helped us buy the house. The rest: The finish quality in the home and the materials used are appalling. The kitchen cabinets are the cheapest cabinets I've ever seen. The ready made cabinets at Lowes or Home Depot are better than these. The electrical work scares me. I had to install a couple of new fans and it looks like a high school shop class put the electrical in. Our water coming out of the faucet in the Texas summer is beyond warm, it is downright hot. I recently found why, the water line runs directly over the garage with a minimum of pipe insulation. This is something that is going to have to get revisited. Closing was very unorganized. Dates changed. Lennar blames my lender, lender blames lennar. Never knew the truth.

This was the second place we purchased at Heritage. I was pleasantly surprised that the walk-thru was clean (unlike our coach home). However, during construction, someone failed to tighten/glue/affix the plumbing so the condo flooded. It was fixed quickly and timely and the rug was replaced but... it was clearly a big issue and something so easy to be done by the contractors.

Construction took almost 1 yr to finish, closing date moved 5 times. Closed with interest rate 2% higher than when contract was signed because of construction delays- by the time house is ready for move in interest rates are already too high. Moved in and some issues with house still unresolved. Still waiting for Lennar to resolve some issues and have not heard from them still.

I would advise potential homeowners to consider waiting to close on their home until their ENTIRE punch list is either complete or is very short and reasonable in length. It is reiterated to you once you receive a closing date, especially at the end of the month The subcontractors for paint, Nickolas C, area construction manager, has yet to meet with me despite my requests as well as the requests from the builder and the Director of Customer Care for him to do so. I hesitate to refer other buyers to purchase from Lennar.

The orientation of the home as it turns out was awful. NOTHING was explained regarding hot water tank use and especially all the RING stuff and the fact it had to be installed within 55 days or HIPPO insurance comes with money owed due to missing the date. NONE of that was ever explained.

My Lennar experience was mixed. I love the house and community but Lennar didn’t make the process easy. I made the deal last October when the lot was being graded. It took Lennar almost 8 months to complete the house and I could never get a straight answer about the work schedule. The main problem is that Lennar uses the old “good cop” / “bad cop” approach to customer service (I’ve changed the names of all Lennar staff). There were two sales guys involved, I’ll call Joe and Moe. Joe is a genial frat boy type while Moe is his dour counterpart. Joe handed me off to Moe whenever a complicated issue came up, and then would pop up again like a Hobbit. There were two construction managers Harry and Larry. Same drill: Harry was the crusty and genial guy in pickup truck and Larry the enforcer. There was a serious “mistake” made in that inferior cabinets were installed, which I discovered six weeks before closing. It took until closing to resolve and it was never clear if this was an honest mistake or an intentional deceit. I ended up having to accept lower grade cabinets than I paid for, due to closing. After closing, I got Baby Bill, a young guy with a bad attitude and eventually the area construction manager, Smiling Will. There’re several unresolved issues which I’m waiting for Smiling Will to resolve, including a potential credit for the cabinet fiasco. While Lennar Title was great, I’d never use Lennar Mortgage again: the loan officer was rude, unresponsive, and arrogant. Still, all’s well that end’s well. The builder had three heads (Sales/Construction/Closing). Ryan (Sales) did a good job. Sadly Construction and Closing were generally poor. Unnecessary pressure was applied by Closing whilst Construction obviously could not achieve the completion dates given. Completion delayed by three weeks due to poor workmanship, mainly damaged doors. The Construction guys are OK when you find out who they are. From a Purchaser's perspective, the completion and closing process could be much improved by using a single point of contact.

We bought a townhome in patriot square, in New Jersey. The relator, Scott, a Lennar employee, was extremely communicative and timely with answering any questions or concerns we might have. We couldn't believe how easy the process was. The homebuying process was fantastic, and we were excited to move into our new home. However, when we closed on the house, two bathroom cabinet doors were damage, so they were removed and replacement doors were not yet available, so they were missing. That in itself is not at all an issue. We were told they would be replaced within a week, which was very reasonable, even after the week had passed we were not concerned. With supply issues, we expected that. But after two months, we still had not received even an estimated timeline for when they would be available to be installed. There was a complete lack of communication. Any time we asked for an update or timeline, the site manager, Dom, would tell us he would get back to us the next day with an answer, but never did follow up as he claimed he would, we would have to reach out again (we usually waited a week or 2 between each time we reached out to him). This same pattern of exchange existed for other issues and requests we made. He had asked us to send our requests through text, but some issues we need addressed have been ignored. Other issues that we put in formal online requests were closed out without our acknowledgment. We still have a number of issues that need addressed which will all be submitted formally, we hope they are not ignored or closed out without acknowledgement. ... More

Initially a great experience. It's the little things now that we can't get fixed.

Many items were not completed until after closing. Three months later and we're still waiting for a lamp post. For those things that have been done post-closing, we had to wait weeks for a response.

1. The mortgage interest rate offered when I was ready to lock in was almost 7 tenths of a percent higher than the national a average. I was compelled to shop with another bank in the 11th hour. This was then used as a tool to negotiate the rate below the national average. I thought keeping the title services and financing under Lennar's domain would be worth a slight premium, but they swung for a greedy outcome. 2. The Closing process was completed in last minute style. A.Materials and labor shortages were certainly an ongoing problem nationally, and our new build had numerous milestones to complete with one week prior to closing. Since Lennar is publicly traded there appeared to be intense pressure among its staff to close our property and benefit their 10Q filing. Here it is nearly two months after closing and numerous punch list items remain uncompleted. Craftsmanship was rushed. B. The actual closing date to sign all the documents remotely was a extremely stressful. I supposed to receive instructions a day head. I ended up calling Lennar's title company an hour before the scheduled close to enable instruction access. Then logging in with the remote closer was a technical challenge ... More
