The sales guy was not truthful about having the house cleaned and painted before we got there. He told us what we wanted to hear. We had to get the building manager involved. We did not have keys to our new home when we arrived either. It was a bad experience

The communication with client could have been better.

Sales and purchase were easy. Many of the Lennar systems don’t talk to each other so that was somewhat frustrating. After inspection and move in we found quite a few issues. Nothing that I feel confident that the warranty department would take seriously (house not sealed at roof - mice coming in). Been a Lennar home owner before, and Project Management and Quality Control is seriously lacking.

I FEEL THE WORKMENSHIP WAS POOR , APPLIANCES BUILDER MODELS NO WARRANTY , AND THIS SMART HOUSE IS TERRIABLE ,I SERIOUSLY WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHSED THE HOME IF I HAD NONE IT,

Initial walk through issues were numerous. Sloppy workmanship in many categories. Very poor exterior paint coverage. Some areas do not have paint on the siding. Paint splatter on floor in many areas. Rain gutter by front entrance leaks and lets water run behind stone work. Sloppy install on sprinkler system. Crooked sprinkler heads in several areas. Garage door opener wiring sloppy installation, has broken wire that will no allow door to close. Exit doors to lanai - dead bolts not aligned will not lock. Main sewer line was damaged by workers that were grading the lot prior to sod being placed. This caused a major stoppage that took a lot of work to locate underground damage before a fix could be attempted. I go on for twenty more items but the fact that the slow response to issues important to me makes this Lennar home not what I expected. ... More

Poor response once you have an issue that need to be addressed, good response via teams or zoom to explain the situation but a lot of time to get fixed any situation on the property, maintenance department need to have a value stream mapping process in order to understand the response time/ Leadtime for costumer service.

The home buying process went really fast and I did feel rushed to meet deadlines. Emails that were sent were sent on Friday afternoons mountain time so when it came to questions, I had to wait until Sunday or Monday to hear a response. My walkthrough was fast with the final walkthrough being rushed. All items that needed to be fixed were not done at the final walkthrough leading to a rushed job. When I finally received a key code to get in it was hours after closing. The work that was done was horrific. I'm being told that I have to wait until the 12 months. So I purchased a brand new home/build that has dings, mismatched paint, doors that won't close, lawn that looks horrible. The person I closed with and the person I purchased the home from went MIA. No one has checked in with me after working with me for months prior. The closing was not a celebration. It was disorganized and very long. No celebration at all. No pictures no handshake. I was expecting more and at least the seller to be there. After all this, I shouldn't be told that these are production homes and I didn't purchase a custom home. As off today I haven’t gotten the respond to a damage tile. The unit was deliver dirty and with issues. Not happy at all horrible company

The craftsmanship is poor it took multiple times to correct issues. So frustrating to say the least. It’s a new home, it shouldn’t be so hard to have a livable home. We’re two months in and have had to have repairs done. Insane really.

This home was not clean, poor painting everywhere especially the area above the baseboard. This means that semi-gloss was painted above the baseboard in some cases at least 5”. This was noted with both walk throughs, but was not corrected. Paint splatters on sliding doors not cleaned off and the tracks for the sliders were not cleaned. We have NEVER moved into a brand new house that was supposedly cleaned but needed through cleaning, by us, before we moved in. If this is what has happened with the other homes, I would suggest getting new contractors. What’s the deal with the cement lip pulling into the garage, that is an accident waiting to happen. They keep giving us the run around ,we haven’t been able to open our garage since we bought the house. They keep telling us thier working on it it’s been two month.

I had lot of bad experiences with Lennar in the whole process

It has been 45 days since closing and we have a 20 item punch list of construction issues that have not been resolved. For the money paid for the home, I thought I would have received a handle on the dishwasher and trash bins for the trash cabinet in the kitchen. But I guess those items are luxuries.

Where Lennar fails is communication. From the day I put my deposit down till I closed (which was about 10 months) I only heard from Lennar when they needed my money. As far as communication with me during the building process there was none..none at all. If I wanted any information I had to call. As far as after I moved in communication did not improve. I would E-mail for information and not hear anything thing back when I turned annoying I was then informed that yes, I received your E-mail but I'm waiting on information. So, no communication at all.

A mixed review -- I'll break it apart to the home buying experience and the post-move in periods. The home buying experience was relatively easy and Lennar's financial team did a fantastic job helping me as the customer understand what's included, what's not, and facilitating all the paper work. The inspections were all ok, we had a 3rd party home inspector check it out and everything seemed ok, no big hang ups. The post-move in period is a different story. After we moved in, we've had a series of problems that are all a part of the warranty, but it's been non-stop and a real pain to have contractors coming in and out of the house. To provide a few examples, the dishwasher wasn't operating, the furnace and hvac had all sorts of problems that led to water damage in the ceiling and the inconvenience of not having AC during summer heatwaves. Was told upgrades were included with no upgrades available. Mortgage was difficult to reach and misrepresented the taxes and didn't explain very well. I received 7 or 8 estimated closing documents and not one was correct! Would not recommend

After sale Cx service is great and team is helpful however home is poorly built. There is no quality assurance audit before closing it seems. Too many issues- gaps in roof siding, cooktop don’t work, doors don’t seal, window frame broken, secondary water heater unit doesn’t work, sprinkler system has leaky water hose, walls are not straight, no electric outlets in laundry room for iron or vacuum cleaner. Seems like someone walked on Insulation in attic- compressed. Also, we had a water leak from furnace drip pan before we moved in- water puddle on attic floor. 10 inch Metal rod is sticking out in lawn and much more. Home closing was delayed by several months. Overall bad buying experience, poor customer service skills by construction manager. Good part- Terri from after sale warranty team is helping and has great CX service skills. Thank you Terri! ... For the money spent, I am disappointed. Issues range from customer service to craftsmanship

There was a lack of attention to detail nearly across the board with trade skills. Carpentry, electrical, you name it. Even landscaping. This house feels like it was rushed to be completed. It feels like everyone was more concerned with hitting a deadline versus quality. The quality check process is not sufficient. Promises made by construction manager were not always followed through on. Gave up trading pretty quickly. Overwhelmed or stretched too thin? Don’t know, but if I was to buy another new build I will have to think twice about Lennar.

The quality of the home is marginally OK. One doesn’t really notice things until after move-in, but then you start to notice the defects. We haven’t gotten a timely response to a couple of warranty issues. The price was good and we’re happy with the location.

Having problems with incomplete exterior painting. The interior painting was okay except for massive over spray onto the appliances from painting the cabinets. The sink was chipped and was to be replaced or fixed-that was never done. The sprinkler system is confusing and hard to check if it is working. Hoping that there will not be a lot of problems with the a/c since it has been to cold to use it. The garage door seals were improperly installed and were never fixed. The screen was to be replaced due to concrete being smeared on it and that was never done. Exterior grading was not done. Don't know if these quality control issues are normal with new builds. ... The paint peals off. I have a couple doors that really need to be changed and I’ve already submitted a request and had the virtual meeting but nothing. On almost all cabinets the screws were pushed in too deeply that they cracked the wood. Almost all screws. The paint is the most disappointing because I’ll have to repaint EVERYTHING.

The sod was laid wet and then the workers walked all over it creating very dangerous pot holes in the shape of foot prints. I hurt my right knee the first time I walked on it. I have to regrade it of course. The electrician has been out twice. Drawers had to be repaired. Had to have gutters in immediately. Lost power twice the first week so I put in a generator. The kitchen cabinets are useless. Having drawers installed. Tore out all the low grade carpeting. Put in a matching floor. The driveway is all pitted with extra cement globs everywhere. They had replaced 1 section but really the whole thing needed to be redone like most of the neighbors. I wasn’t as smart. In my contract. I was promised things that took a month of nagging to happen. Everyone was nice on face value with no follow through. A little less cutting corners for some quality assurance is worth a lot of good will and publicity. ... More

We like our house. 2 months later we are still trying to get promised corrections done

With in a month I could see dry wall cracks, cracked wood.
