The sales office was amazing and always available. Once we were referred to the construction personnel, it was not always responded to in a timely matter. The quality of some of the work and products used were less than promised and when questioned met with a response of “ that is how it is done here”! The Lennar lender was slow in response and after closing we found an error in use of funds by attorney. The Lender advised us to solve the issue with the new lender once the loan is sold. Very frustrating, since everyone was paid for services they did incorrectly and after closing will not correct issue. They want us to fix their mistake with additional funds. Lennar had a good reputation on the west coast but it seems like a different story here. Due to Covid is a common excuse but I wonder if it is overused. I will start by saying I love the floorplan I chose. I am disappointed with unkept promises by agent. Lennar Mortgage was very stressful and changed the interest rate at the last minute. The quality of work - paint droppings on the floors and molding (did not use painters' tape), cheap paint, several areas are bleeding through, ceiling showing sheetrock seams/cracks, there are areas of 'rough' wood where it should have been sanded, doors put up backwards, attic cut into ceiling inside house - should be garage only, can't reach attic stairs - cut too short...they said all of this was COSMETIC but later advised it won't be repaired because they will only touch up NAIL POPS at my 1 year warranty and not even paint. In a year I will have to repaint my entire home to cover the spots! Also, wrong color carpet installed. ... More

Build quality was pretty low. House was rushed and it shows. Home was not clean well before move. Sense move in we have been having to get things fixed. The building manager has been very nice and helpful, but does not excuse the fact that the quilty of the home was not was to be expected.

Overall I am happy with the buying experience. I lived out of state while my home was being built. Cindy was on it weekly keeping me up to date and answering questions. Now that I have been here close to 2 months, I am slowly getting inside issues taken care of. In my opinion the finishing around the bath tubs and caulking’s around the baseboard could use attention to detail. The home is beautiful inside and out.

Delays in construction. The quality is terrible. We were made to do a walkthrough of the townhouse when there was absolutely nothing ready. They took another 4 weeks to complete. If that was known to the folks working there why would they schedule and walkthrough and try to close just to show the numbers at the end of month? Had roof leak on the first rain after moving in. Great response to attend that but being quality builder this is not acceptable.

Sales and initial communication was great. Quality of workmanship was average. Some good items in the house and some cheap items. More effort on cleanup before move in would help. Fixing the problems is taking a long time (or maybe they will never be fixed?).

The purchase of the home from the agent and the mortgage lender were phenomenal. However, the quality of the work (still not completed) is a little disheartening. At this point I’m not sure if I would purchase another Lennar home.

Buyers need to be aware of what is included in the $80,000 Everything Included package. Here is an example, under features the Ring Security Kit says Ring Alarm Window and Door Contact Sensor. There is only a sensor on the front door and the slider. During the walk-thru I asked where the rest of the sensors are on the other windows and doors. Their answers was it only says window and door (singular). Purchasing a $900k house and they can even add sensors to the rest of the doors and windows which cost $99 on Amazon and I know the builder gets it cheaper since they have a contract with Ring. There are no CAT5 outlets anywhere in the house and it's not even an option. They give you one eero Pro 6 mesh wifi system which only covers up to 2000sq. ft. The smallest house in our community is 3300 sq. ft. We caught that during our walk-thru and they ended up sending us another one so we can get internet throughout the house. A house at this price point they can't even put a $20 drain pan under the water heater. Interior paint is a cheap flat white with no option for upgrade to satin or different color. 4 of our neighbors had their house repainted at an extra cost averaging $4500. ... More

We purchased a Bexley model and we love it. However, the building timeframe was riddled with delays. Constant pushes to the walkthrough and closing dates really worked up a bit of bitterness. The response of remedying issues uncovered after moving in has been decent. I think right now I'm mostly irritated at seeing trash in our walls. I'm not exaggerating. Ever run a LAN cable to get wired connections in a wall? Yeah well, when using a wired camera to guide it, we found beer and soda cans in the walls. Pretty disgusting. I'm half tempted to put in a request to get the trash out of our walls. I'm willing to bet the pile of trash we saw in the kitchen island, during an earlier walkthrough, is still in there. ... More

Poor workmanship Poor customer service

The upstairs floor is wavey and squeaky. The kitchen counter tops are different colors and we were told we're looking at it wrong. Huge gap between garage door and house, we were told it's normal. No other house I've owned had a gap like this neither does any other house in this neighborhood. The kitchen cabinets are white, we ordered espresso. No heat or a.c. flowing in vent to downstairs master. That was resolved after two visits. The fire door from the garage into the house is split in the center thru the deadbolt and knob. I was told by the manager that she spoke with the manufacturer and a split door is just as good as one that isn't....what?Still not resolved. Upstairs sliding glass door has no weather strip and blows the vertical blinds like the door is open. It's been a month, still not resolved. House was over a month late from our agreed finish date. Electrician had to come change breaker in laundry room because it tripped every time washer hit spin cycle. Overall I'm dissatisfied and will never recommend or purchase from lennar. Out of my 7 new home purchases, this was the worst by a large margin. The floor plan works for us, that's all the positive I can say. Make sure you do a thorough review of all post-build finishes as many things needed additional upkeep and corrections (e.g., flimsy doors, unclean installations, etc.)

Should understand and respect buyers more

I expected more from the builder in the construction for the home the materials do not look so great as they show in the model. For the price I expected more but we got so overwhelmed and at the end we only want to closed the deal. For my experience I will not say more.

They do not provide enough information about the home prior to signing PA. Once PA is signed nothing can be changed and we had no idea.

Overall not a bad experience.

Once everything is finally done, the home overall is nice.

We did not have any say-so to pick options or make any changes to the options that Lennar chose. Construction was rushed and it showed in the quality of workmanship. We paid a premium price for an average house. Would not recommend if you want design options or something better than builder grade materials.

Experience was ok, house ok , service all just ok. Nothing special about this builder especially if you like a lot of crooked things like Ceilings, window sills and walls,

We had a positive experience with buying our house, the sales person was responsive and knowledgeable. We used Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title, which made our lives easier. The Mortgage Officer was very helpful in the process. Construction on the other hand was a pain. We had to document all of the issues ourselves during several walkthroughs with pictures to make sure everything gets addressed and resolved. However many of the issues were ignored multiple times. They got addressed only after we escalated them to the construction management. Construction didn't commit to the deadlines they set for themselves. Expect a lot of delays and a long punch list of things that need to be done prior to closing and even after.

To start off, our new home consultant was great. Once it came time to do the walk, that's where things started to go down hill. First off, walls were crooked. They stated that they have a certain tolerance, but the walls were way beyond that. They did fix the issue which delayed closing. Once you close on the home, you may as well not exist. A new home comes with a 1 year end to end warranty. I am currently in a fight with them to honor this. They have finally agreed to cover some things while still giving me problems on others. They do not seem to care if you are having issues because right now they are selling homes left and right. In order for them to consider your issue, you have to keep pestering them until it is done. Just today, I had a warranty appointment for grout repair and they were a no show. I understand the current environment and staffing issues with the pandemic, but at least let me know you aren't going to make it because I had to arrange to be home for this. We are happy to be in our new home! The community and surroundings are beautiful. There were several issues in the building process that needed immediate attention to fix. The customer is not in the loop. Our construction manager was helpful in resolving issues. The process to address home owners questions and concerns needs fixed. We will submit tickets to address our current issues. Providing home owner with touch up paint is a must. I’m bothered by paint issues every time I clean.

Quality and workmanship was not the best. It was posted as a gated community on their website but it was not. Response to issues was not the best either.

This model house is NOT a model: Workmanship is very poor. However, I might say that the construction manager, Jeff, and his right-hand man, Vidal, have responded to my requests very well.
