The builder was delayed over 7-months. Lennar did not communicate well with their customers, costing their customer tens of thousands of additional dollars. We found out that we were getting our house keys with less than 24 hours notice.

Loan process was difficult especially when your mortgage type was lowered due to being recently retired.

My husband and I were so excited to finally get our bid excepted for our Lennar home. The process seemed very seamless early on our loan officer and loan processor we’re fantastic. The Lennar staff in the sales office were fantastic as well. The one thing I think could be improved is when homeowners are doing their a celebration walk-through it is scheduled about a month out from actual closing so when the walk-through is happening is easy to forget everything that is discussed reference your new Lennar home. I wish that celebration walk-through is scheduled a little closer to closing or on closing day. As we got closer to the closing process when is it became a little chaotic. What I think is Lennar ran out of staff to assist of the homebuyers who are closing around the same time and this also may have affected delays in our closing. My experience with Lennar was the worst. There were so many issues with the building of my home. Lack of communication with the Sales Person and Sr. Project Manager. I would not recommend Lennar Builders

Loan officers are terrible if I was to do it again I'd use an outside mortgage company. Also don't use there insurance for flood and homeowners you'll get ripped off.I regards to length of construction time that went well . Addressing my punchlist items that went well.

We like our home a lot but somethings were done poorly, We had a broken cabinet when we moved in and called customer service someone said they would come fix it but never did and frankly we shouldn't have anything broken in a brand new home. We had a few other hiccups but overall we like our home and our community.

Painting was terrible on the doors. Drips everywhere. Paint overspray on fixtures, paint on every hinge. Excess caulk around entire floor. Still fixing issues.

First, we had to wire the complete payment due for settlement almost one week prior to the date we sat down. Second, Lennar contacted us less than 48 hours prior to settlement that our date had been changed and they were unable to get the occupancy permit to close due to the July 4th holiday. Upon further investigation on the part of my wife it was determined that Lennar dropped the ball and they failed to get the permits signed in a timely fashion. Upon direct contact with the permitting office, my wife was able to get the documents signed that we needed and we did settle on the original date. We were most disappointed that Lennar was ok with letting us wait another week to settle after we already had things in motion with movers, cable company, scheduled time off from work and they already had our money. Third, we have been in the home for over a month now and we are still waiting for the items on our punch list to be completed from our final walk through. There is blue tape marked throughout the house and there seems to be no urgency in getting this completed. We will think twice before purchasing another home by this builder in the future ... More

Multiple delays during construction, poor communication, terrible closing experience, and many things required to be fixed or replaced- multiple times in some cases. I had a good experience with the actual Lennar seller throughout the process; however, every thing else has been poor.

Problems with drains, electrical, trim, water. All of these could have been fixed prior to moving in.

It was a great experience to buy the Lennar Home. Jason is the one who made me to choose this home and I truly appreciate his support on all phases.

Just bought a Lennar home and I advise everyone to avoid buying these homes. These homes are cheaply built, workers drink on the job (I have the beer cans in my house to prove it), and there is no urgency when it comes to resolving issues. There is no reason why brand new homes should be having any issues - we even experienced a gas leak our first night on the property! They should be ashamed of themselves and I suggest they cut their prices for these homes.

The building looks grand at the first impression, but once you begin to live in the house one begins to find the house lacks many details that a luxury home should consist of. In our home, most noticeable is the electrical switches and outlets, then the lighting. switches are not placed at logical places, lacking multiple switching capability, some even did not provide multiple switching. outlets are sparse, some not even present such as at a long hallway, no light in the closet, bathroom lights not suitable for makeup for the ladies of the house. poor workmanship.

They were working on my house the last day before I closed. Some things are still not done. The landscaping is shoddy but the structure and interior are really nice. I’d recommend but expect a wild ride.

Truth be told I went with Lennar because of all of the in-home design options they offered. After touring the staged homes, it took 3 attempts at getting a home because Lennar's internet sales team and new home sales team were not in sync on new customer appointments, therefore they were selling homes to people who did not have an appointment, even though I scheduled an appointment twice with them . Fast forward, on my third attempt I finally was able to pick my lot, but after doing so they told me the particular home build wasn't available on most of there lots, and the one that was available had been "spec'd" out. Meaning many of the options I wanted in my home (double wall oven, kitchen hood vent) were not available. Despite my reservation, I took the lot because grew tired of waiting for another lot to open up. Lennar finished my home earlier than expected, but the craftmanship and attention to detail was very poor. The crown molding seems did not flow well. The carpet had paint and chemical stains. The paint job was terrible, and I had to blue tape so many areas, and some door jams needed to be addressed. At a point the house rep grew annoyed at myself and realtor who said, " this is the worse I have ever seen." They said they would address all of this one week prior to closing. They addressed some, but not all. They rushed us through the closing process and were very impatient. They promised they would be back to fix the items, but now I am going through hurdles for them to address the drywall and paint. The reason they gave us as to why they wouldn't repaint was that they only address the drywall after one year, when the house has settled. My argument to them was that these were issues prior to my final settlement regardless of what their one year drywall warranty is. Nonetheless, I shouldn't have went to closing without these things being done. My recommendation is that if you are not happy with your home, don't sign or deal with promises because you will have to pull teeth for them to honor it. ... More

Low quality building materials have presented numerous issues that could not be addressed until the home was lived in. I’m not confident in the longevity of the items used. Ease of closing and the responsive team are the only two reasons this isn’t a 1-2 star rating.

We loved working with Lennar. Heros was great and super helpful.

I know you guys work with different contractors, but it's clear that the builders cut corners and it's up to the buyers to "catch things" that were missed. For example, our carpet throughout the whole house is lumpy with peaks and valleys in every room. However, we love the floor plan, the house itself and are happy to be here. We just have to be "on top of everything" inside and outside the house. It's not a relaxing experience, instead we are the foreman after we move in. Issues have been addressed hit and miss with workers coming at unscheduled times and whenever they can. I work from home so I can make this work, but it's not organized or planned. The yard needs additional work and it was rushed. We are now having to go back and address various issues inside and outside the house. ... More

Beautiful house with lots of room

Lennar is a great track home builder and they are the best to deal with when it comes to buying a home from A to Z. All companies working under the Lennar supervision are great in the process of completing the home building and the buying process. I recommend Lennar extensively to any one that is ready for a smooth transition to a new home.

I have had nothing but usses, last straw was I signed all the paperwork and didn't get possession for 7 days. As I was paying for the place. Sent emails asking to be reimbursed, as of today Aug 16th ZERO ZERO ZERO response. My keys were not even presented to me, left on counter with construction workers. They got my money, and left me hanging.

My house did not appraise for the sale price and that effected my down payment and interest. It was a fiasco. Since I moved in I’ve submitted several work orders and had slow response for each.

Call Price sales agent was not particularly easy to work with. However, Melissa warranty person and Season the project person very helpful and responsive!

One do not use lennar mortgage they are terrible!!!! I know they say you'll save money that way, but your sanity will pay for it!!! The overall build wasn't bad, but their tile contractor did a terrible job in the master shower. You can't even drive a uhaul no matter the size onto the driveway because the concrete is so thin!! They didn't put a man door in the garage and to close off the garage even more they put the big ol tankless hot water heater on the inside!! Terrible idea!! This is the last lennar home I will buy ever!!!

We are very happy with our place, however I am going to leave very honest feedback with the hopes that things are improved for our future neighbors! The appliances, materials, and equipment are all high end and good build quality, but the finish appeared sloppy and in our opinion did not meet the standard. Paint was slopped on doors, tiles, windows, light fixtures, light switches, appliances (Fridge, oven, microwave, etc.). The door jambs had plaster/paint all over them. It appeared very rushed. Our cabinets had a lot of nicks and scratches. The railings, baseboard/trim, and crown molding have paint imperfections (mostly dripping paint that dried in place, but very obvious) but also the corners don't fully connect and have gaps as if they weren't cut to proper length. We did 3 Re-Walk's to blue tape everything we could find and we still have stuff like hardened glue substance on our shower tile that I cannot scrape off (The builder tried). It needs some sort of chemical remover or something. The builder was responsive and tried to address everything. Construction: We totally understand that we bought a pre-construction home and the surrounding construction and street conditions don't bother us because we expected it. Its part of the process. However we were told we would never be blocked in and that the construction teams were notified not to block the entire street so we could still get in and out as needed. However, at times we were blocked in on almost a daily basis between 8:30-5:00. We typically have to go flag someone down, who often doesn't know who drives which vehicle so it takes upwards of 10 minutes to get multiple people to move vehicles around. And that's just to come back 30-45 minutes later to do the same exact thing because they blocked our garage again or the whole entrance to the street. In one instance we had a real medical emergency and we were EXTERMELY thankful and fortunate that my wife was not blocked in, but an example of why this is a little more than just an inconvenience. Trash: Its also been more than a month and we still have not had our trash picked up. I'm not sure how many times my wife has called, but enough that she feels uncomfortable calling again. We've been told multiple times that the team has been updated or notified that this street needs trash picked up, but it has yet to happen as of today. I hope this feedback is helpful for someone. I really do love this place but these are major concerns we have been dealing with since early July. I hope this feedback helps drive some sort of improvement that our future neighbors will be thankful for! ... More
