The home that I bought is gorgeous. I am a first time home buyer so I admit I do not know a lot about what to expect when buying a home. The experience of working with my lender was awful. I was signing things that he told me he would fix the mistakes later and then he tried to change my rate after we were locked in. I feel that even after buying my house people acted like I was a nuisance when I would text to get updates of scratched windows (which one of them is still scratched and I have heard nothing). Overall, the Lennar home is beautiful, but the customer service was lacking.

Lennar functional teams use different portals. You have to enroll each of them. Each portal looks different. It makes homebuyers confused. It is very hard to know what action you need take what docs you need to read. I have never experienced this type of digital chaos. Personally I love digital process to handle complicate real state. Lennar should use one portal to proceed selling, even prequalifying evaluation.

Blue taped items not fixed before move in. Plumbing full of gravel, caused dirty water to leak from toilet and submerge bathroom. Was initially given wrong keys and neighbor was given my keys. Garage was dented and refuse to fix Can hear neighbors talk through shared walls.

Very unpleased with how things turned out for what we paid. After close it became evident the craftsmanship in the molding in the “Designer Plus” package, the drywall work, and painting was not what I expected for the price we paid for the home. It’s evident Lennar is focused on turning and closing homes quickly and letting many of the details go by the wayside. If I could do it over again- I would pay more money for a smaller builder who cares about more than a buck.

While writing contract & Signing it, I clearly mentioned i am buying on my LLC and all parties agreed and signed. Just 5 days before closing, they said, we can not give you on LLC as per Lennar Policy, i need to authorize and title can be on LLC. Since only 5 Days left, i un willingly accepted. But then Just one hour before closing, they said i can't have title on LLC, What ....!!! this is how you guys deal with. Construction Quality: Pros: Good Quality Construction, i appreciate that. Cons: While closing walk through, we did identified minor things, they agreed to fix, but they did not fix. when i asked, since its closed, they had lot of procedure to follow up and the guy who agreed to fix not honoring his words. I had a lot of issues with the house they promise everything was going to be fixed by the closing date, then a month after still issues. I understand you built a lot of houses at once but you can’t turn your back to quality and good finishes. This is my second lennar I don’t think I’ll have a third one

A few staff made the after purchase activities a traumatic and stressful situation. The house is okay but know the model houses are upgraded and made very nicely. Your house will not look the same and the quality of the work does not compare to the one provided to the model houses.

Well I have good and bad to say. 1. I was told my lot size was much bigger than the reality came to be. When I confronted them about this they just said they made a mistake and did nothing about it, they admitted their mistake. Two people within Lennar has admitted this error. 2. The area between the sidewalk and road has been in standing water since July 8 and it is now Sept. 9th. They finally started looking at the issue but it has not been solved. So guest coming to my home have to walk through standing water. 3. Other than the doorbell and sod around the road and driveway the home seems to been built well. 4. Other small issues has been handled timely. ( except front sod) 5. The people have been friendly. ... More

There were a few things that needed to be addressed after closing that was not taken care of after the final walk through, but it was not completed even after several follow ups. SMH.

Seller doesn’t care about you the second paperwork is signed. Lender is not very clear about the closing process. Triple and quadruple check the loan paperwork because there potentially are many mistakes in it that you will make decisions based upon then they change it and blame you for not noticing. They love to mention the purchase agreement you signed so make sure that is perfect before you sign. Over priced for the quality of the craftsmanship. Sod is put in haphazardly with many gaps. House was not very clean when turned over to me. Warranty is nice but it’s a negotiation when you make a claim. Ultimately the work gets done but there is a definite attempt to avoid it from lennar. ... More

It was an average experience the whole way through. Throughout the process plan to experience slow response time to questions you may have and since there are several people working with you it will take longer to find the right person to actually the question. Problems due get fixed and questions will get answered it just takes longer than expected. Interior and finishes are fair. You can tell some install and items were rushed and quality is not the best. Overall it is good price for the size of home.

Even though we did a walk through on the home most of the items on the list really didn’t get fixed. I’m pretty sure the paint in the home is only primer. You can not wipe down the walls at all or the “paint” wipes right off. The finish work in the home I would give 5/5. Most of the joints in the finish carpentry do not line up and nails holes are partially filled. Basically if I ever want to be able to wipe my walls clean if they get dirty I’m going to need to pay a painter to actually come in and use a quality paint that is able to be wiped off. Total overall experience unfortunately is 5/10 duec to the poor finish quality of the home. ... More

Door bell isn’t ringing, there is a power short in the master bedroom and bathroom that needs to be fixed . When I put in a warranty ticket it takes forever to get an answer .

House layout is perfect and also de location. But builder just made lots of silly mistakes. First and most biggest mistake was electrical breakers and wiring’s were badly installed so after two weeks of moving in power went off very 15-30 minutes. Second big mistake done by builder washer water hoses were installed wrong. Only hot water was coming in. Third mistake and as of today I am still waiting for a response of the builder; drawers and cabinet doors are cracking up and master bedroom bath drawers were in bad conditions since previous inspection and have not been replaced. Forth mistake the grass was not properly maintained and now after 30’days of me watering and trying to make it grow it is still turning yellow. There were other little things that also needed replacement but they were addressed rapidly. ... More

Overall, our experience with Lennar was subpar. The number of issues found during our inspection was alarming, but the worst part was the pushback from Lennar when it came to fixing or addressing these issues. I had to create a punch list and consistently follow up with the construction manager to ensure things were getting done. During the final walkthrough, numerous issues were discovered, yet I was assured that Lennar’s QA process would leave the house practically turn-key. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth. I even had to argue for a large section of drywall exposing the strike plate to be fixed and went around the neighborhood to gather proof that my house was the only one with this issue. Outlets were not installed at the same height, and I’m not sure there’s a single 90-degree corner in the entire house. Under the carpet, you can feel nails and debris as you walk. Every door’s trim is chewed up but simply covered with paint to hide the blemishes. The overall craftsmanship definitely needs to be reviewed. The only positive experience I’ve had in this entire process was with the sales agent, Mike, who unfortunately no longer works in this neighborhood, and my warranty representative, Martina. Martina has been working tirelessly to make things right when issues arise, and it’s clear she’s advocating for the homeowner rather than Lennar, which is a relief. Yesterday the construction guys accidentally splattered cement on our newly constructed swimming pool and the deck around it. A construction guy came but I didn’t hear the doorbell because I was in the shower. 10 min later I found out what happened and I texted the construction manager (Gerry). He didn’t even respond. I have to get someone to clean the deck and repaint the affected areas. I believe it was the responsibility of Lennar.

Heavily implied sod and trees would be delayed until I was able to arrive at the home. Told it would be documented. Neither happened and there was no follow up on the matter. Trees were replaced but sod left to me, which will cost me $8k out of pocket to replace. Multiple breakers keep popping and have to keep submitting work orders. Garbage disposal never worked. Dishwasher stopped working. Wasn't told there wouldn't be window screens. Multiple areas still need touch up paint. Multiple areas weren't cleaned from paint droplets. Overall feel I was taken advantage of and not properly assisted throughout the process for my first ever hone purchase. Very disappointed in Lennar. ... More

We recently purchased a unit at Eagle Ridge. While the process of purchasing the unit was fine, the experience after escrow closed was very frustrating. While our customer service rep, Jessica, deserves at least 5 stars for all she did to take care of the items that weren't completed by the close of escrow, the trades were less than responsive and often didn't complete their work properly. I believe there is a serious communication problem between the trades and Lennar. Now that we are more than 2 months post-closing, I believe that work is almost finished. Baseboards were coming away from the wall in several places

After purchasing, I've made several calls to Lennar folks requesting information, guidance or touch up paint. All calls have remained unanswered. I'm extremely disappointed with this company.

Chaotic purchase. Their in house mortgage/underwriting has poor communication overall but the customer-facing people were great. The house itself is beautiful, but really frustrated with the patio especially. When I walked through the first time it looked as if the patio floods during heavy rains and I asked the builder about it and he assured me it was all construction dirt….. turns out that the patio definitely floods when it rains. Small construction/finishing errors throughout the house that aren’t huge but definitely do your walkthroughs in person and be as picky as possible. No clear outline of the process. No clear accountability

Overall the price of the home was affordable, especially for the area. The home was built with builder grade materials so didn't expect anything of quality and I received exactly as expected. Overall the buying process is stressful and they force you into using their mortgage. I do not suggest using their title company. The sales staff are so-so. At first super responsive but as the process moves along they do a horrible job coordinating things and keeping you updated. The walk through person was probably the only bright spot. He did a great job explaining where things are located, how to work the items, and how to file a warranty claim if needed. However items which were repaired left other issues cosmetically in the home which were never repaired and now left up to me to fix. Again, the price of the home for being so centrally located to Dallas was amazing. Even with all these issues I would buy again only because of the price and location but if I was ever looking for a more suburban home I would completely avoid Lennar. ... More

All in all we like our house. Yes alot of the materials used are cheap, but they are not terrible. Have not been in the house long enough to give a real assessment. We have hope everything will go well!

Very unsettling not getting towel bar in the bathrooms. Thermostat was not compatible with WiFi when we were told many times it was we had to dog it with the Ac company to get it resolved ( had to change thermostat)?Chris did help us reimbursed. The soil has many rocks and construction materials in the soil. No light in the pantry. No support with smart appliances, door and ring setups. The dinning room light outlet box was not center to the room we had to pay to have it corrected. All and all it was a frustrating experience.
