Better communication and lies.

Lennar who is used to purchase many homes really dropped the ball on this home and make a massive oversight in filing Occupancy Certificate and closed the home. So in essence I closed the home and only 20 days later found out no one can move into the house as the house does not have occupancy certificate. I a not sure if this review will move the needle for Lennar but hope this helps other buyers be more diligent.

Very friendly, helpful and responsive to anything ASAP to everything that was needed

Only been in Brunswick County, NC for a few months. I can not give opinions on build yet when it comes to materials/craftsmanship as I just moved in 3 mos ago. If it stays like this, I'll be very happy. Any small issues we've had, Lennar handled promptly and to our satisfaction. So far very happy. I do believe the price was a bit high but, we wanted the location

I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH LENNAR THE HOMEBUILDER AS WELL AS THE MORTGAGE COMPANY. THEY WERE SO EASY TO WORK WITH AND SO ORGANIZED. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME BUYING A HOME AND THEY MADE IT SO EASY.

The builder Ben did a great job explaining everything and was very professional at all the walks.

Great sales experience at Lennar

This was our second time purchasing a new home, with our first being a few years ago through Shea Homes. Unfortunately, our experience with Lennar has been far less positive in comparison. From the start, communication was inconsistent and frustrating. It often took multiple emails just to get a response, and there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between different members of the Lennar team. We consistently felt like the process was being rushed to the finish line, and unfortunately, that urgency was reflected in the overall quality. At our scheduled home walkthrough, the property was still not ready. We had to rearrange our schedules for a second walkthrough, since the initial walk through didn’t count toward the official inspection. That level of disorganization was disappointing and inconvenient. Since closing, we've already experienced two separate roofing leaks. The explanation was simply “due to high winds and rain.” But frankly, a well-built roof should be designed to withstand normal weather conditions. On top of that, our solar backup battery was incorrectly installed, which caused unnecessarily high SDGE bills. We're still waiting on reimbursement for that mistake. In hindsight, having worked with both builders, Shea Homes has absolutely set the gold standard. Their process, communication, and quality were far superior to what we experienced with Lennar. ... Enjoying my new place in Tucker’s Cove. The warranty team has been very responsive to items of concern

Communication was a big problem with lenders Lennar could have given more basic upgrades in the home like garage door opener, ceiling fans, coat closet, towel bars in bathrooms, back patio and over hang on back door. These are basic upgrades for any home. Now I'm having to purchase these items myself at an extra cost.

It was my partner & I’s first time purchasing a home and working with Prav (lender) and Devin (sales) was a PAIN. I would receive smart remarks from Prav on important questions I genuinely needed answered throughout the buying journey and after. Devin would never get back to me, timely. UPS could take 3-5 business days and I still would not get a response back from her. You guys excluded my personal realtor from the experience so who else can guide me other than you two? HORRIBLE. As for the house. I understand you guys want to build 50 houses by end of month but the quality control is horrific. Good processes, The house is great?

I purchased a quick move in ready home. What seemed fantastic has turned into an adventure in placing 2 warranties, multiple maintenance requests and a general dismissal of my concerns. I am told at almost every call made that the water leaking in multiple areas, standing water in my windowsills, frost on windows so bad that it looks like a freezer that needs to be defrosted, frost/ice on the floor in front of a door with a significant draft felt are "normal" given that warranties are being completed and work being done, the concerns are NOT normal. There are other issues as well and the company has had trades come out to do "peace of mind" check as "the home passed inspection so it's fine." and "we'll get you settled here and everything will be good." they also marketed features that were in the home that are not actually there. when I asked about said features and getting them put in since it was part of why I chose the home I got the "oops we mixed that up. another floorplan has that not yours. If you want it, you'll have to hire it out." The window covering upgrade that came with the house had sliding door blinds that prevent me from opening the pantry that is next to the door. I was told they would remove the blinds totally or move them up leaving a gap at the bottom. And "they would learn from this for future homes" I've seen the photos of other homes in the neighborhood that all have functional window coverings But I was not offered to have it corrected to a functional level. I was also told that cost would be my responsibility. what a joke. Additionally, I had to have someone come and fix the front door lock as the door wouldn't stay latched/closed unless the deadbolt was engaged. Talk about a lack of feeling safe in your own home......I feel like I was sold a lemon home. I purchased the home 3 months ago and am still not living there. It has been ridiculous and I'm tired of the dismissal of the care team. at this point i do not want to live in the home, the community or ever work with this builder again. I understand the homes are built assembly style, but appears to be get it done in most expedient fashion possible. Trim which be somewhat pliable has paint on it, so not pliable. Replacing thermostat, would expect a small hole for wiring. Hole was big enough a plate had to be used around old thermostat. New thermostat in place can still see hole. In slight wind can hear the exhaust vents open and close. Over all house it is ok for the price

My experience was that they are attentive, making the purchase process easier, and they explain everything in detail and have a low interest rate.

We are happy with our home. But have had some issues. Master closet shelving fell down as soon as clothes hung in it. It was poorly installed. We paid someone to come in and install it correctly. Garbage disposal switch is in the dining area. And you have to walk out of the kitchen to turn it on while leaving the water running. Also extremely difficult to leave and enter development due to construction vehicles blocking only road out of development and no one manages traffic flow.

This is my second home. I decided to go with Lennar mortgage for financing the home due to all the incentives they offered and this was the biggest mistake. The loan officer seemed very inexperienced. My closing was pushed back and when it was my day to close I make it to the attorneys office and my closing package hadn’t made it there. So I was at the attorneys office for over 4 hours. I love the home and neighborhood. The warranty team is excellent, very responsive.

The overall experience was very stressful. The timelines kept being pushed back. The communication was poor as far as updates on the progress of the home. I showed up for an appointment and no one was there. The basic builder grade quality is not the quality I’m used to.

The Lennar staff were so welcoming to my Realtor and I. Every staff we reached out to were very professional and communicative. Every question I asked, they were very knowledgeable. I would recommend Lennar to family, friends, and associates.

I purchased a beautiful ranch duplex home. I absolutely love all the windows to let the sunshine in and the beautiful peaceful environment outside to look at. It is the perfect size! With 9 foot ceilings and generous size rooms, makes decorating so much fun. I love my home and the area.

So far my experience with Lennar has been amazing. I purchased in the Medley at Mirada and Joe. My sales person was absolutely patient informative and helpful. He explained everything and worked with me with three visits. Once I got under contract, everything went smooth. The communication was great with Lennar Title I paid cash so I did not work with any lender. Once I was doing my walk-throughs and moving in Eddie was so helpful and available during my walk-through they had crew around so everything that was found was handled right then in there which impressed me. After I closed, my moving truck was showing up there was a lot of workers vehicles parked across the street from me and I was able to let Eddie know and he had them move so the moving truck would not have any issues getting to my house. So far I’ve only had one item not a major ordeal that I just put in a work order for they contacted me immediately to find out exactly what was going on and then set up a time. I’m impressed with Lennar and everybody. I have dealt with and will recommend it to anybody that is looking for a new construction. ... More

Home is great had a small electrical issue which was very unsettling
