Quality and workmanship are lacking. For the price I paid, I shouldn’t have windows that you can feel a breeze coming in, the woodwork was hardly attached, stonework was messy, siding had clear gaps and just over all not super happy with the home. I want a well built home for this price. Speed doesn’t impress me.

Lennar only cares about closings. Our house was not even close to being ready to close, but Lennar insisted that it was going to close. It took three weeks after closing before the house was clean enough to occupy. Paint, drywall compound and grout were all over the tile. Paint and stains were in the carpet. Installer cut lines and marks were and still are in the tile. Gas was not turned on for the dryer; hot water was not connected to the dish washer. The overall filth in the house was just unbelievable. Very poor drywall and painting work. If not for the cooperation of Wllma, our construction manager, this review would be much lower. Wilma took over in the middle of the construction when many of the problems were already present. Lennar prides itself on many of its features but whoever heard of a house with no drawers in the bathroom vanities. The list of issues are really too numerous to detail. ... More

Some were very professional and helpful; Austin our construction manager and Will our mortgage rep. Others not some much and when our home didnt appraise it became my problem with no help whatsoever. I expected some construction issues and there have been, some have been resolved promptly and we are still waiting on others.

If you want Lennar to go the extra mile just know they won’t. They will find the easy cheap way to put a house up. They used scraps for siding. Wall outlets are not symmetrical/ set properly light switches will be placed on random wall behind doors “that’s just how the electrical was ran”. Plaster/ paint looks rough all around the house. During walking through with construction manager we were instructed to place blue tape on issues that needed to be fixed. and during final walk we had to point out random spots that weren’t fixed. The spots we retapped and still moved in to multiple spots still have blue tape in rooms that they ignored. ... More

Not happy with the the customer service, 600K +, and the agent did not receive us on closing day , just left a text and location of our keys, our address does not show up on any maps …etc just a headache

The sales representatives were amazing and were able to answer most if not all questions we had. They really are a good resource to have. Construction on the other hand needs a huge lift in the attention to detail and pride in their work. Although not the construction mangers fault, and he helped out as much as he could, it was evident that the laborers were just there to go through the motion and could care less about the quality in their work because it wouldn't be their problem once they left, to list a few things: 1. We found garbage in our home, and we just closed on it 2. Painter tape on the floor, which must've been missed by cleaners 3. Blatantly missed blue tape items, some of which will never be fixed until I decide I'm sick of looking at it 4. Broken Garage door (took 2 weeks post close to have this fixed) 5. Broken doorbell (took 3 weeks post close to have this fixed) 6. Garbage disposal had a nail in it, which broke it 7. Hardware installed with lack of care (things are not level, and its very noticeable) 8. Blemishes on front and mud room garage door because they installed our permeant doors instead of using construction doors during the build. 9. evident that the cleaners never showed up... construction dust on counters and in sinks, no vacuum marks on carpet areas There's more, but what's the point? This is my first time buying a Lennar home and the expensive has been an interesting one from the purchase until now I have no details that matter in building a home are lacking in some areas by comparison to other homes I have purchased. It’s the quality of value of a quantity and the quality of some of the items in the home aren’t up to par for the price of home that I have for instance there are some windows that I noticed that are drafts in the windows and condensation has appeared in many areas.

Have closed escrow 2 months ago but until now Ge dishwasher hasnt worked. Garage doors are 2 different appearance , “temporary garage doors” according to them but theyndont know when new garage doors will come. Too loud noise from hallway bathrooms , told my kids not to shower after 9 as it is like in wall the water sound. I think needs more insulation. I really regretted that i bought it at this price and comes with a lot of issues. And refrigerator door is uneven and and rough metal sticking out of water dispenser , all was requested as service but nothing happening. 2 months ! This is my second lennar house , somerset in irvine didnt have this problem. Until when will it be fix? Im really thinking to write this up and make people be aware , dont close escrow until you have a new garage door. Been asking for ETA but no response. One day i have to do something to have this all fix. And many more to say but next time. ... More

I am really upset that yall gave all our neighbors a welcome sign and red carper and we gone none. This was my first time buying a home and that actually made me sad and unwelcome

For the price of the home I would have expected better quality materials. The amount of construction issues that we've faced as well as damaged, unfixable items like a completely scratched bathtub is unacceptable. Likely my last time going with a large homebuilder as homes are just churned out as quickly as possible.

Overall quality especially painting/caulking was poor. Everything was done in a rush. Did not have a good experience with our loan officer either. Learn to focus on your clients and not just mass producing homes for the most profit. Everyone on our street got a welcome home sign and balloons and we got nothing. Highly disappointed.

While we are overall fairly happy with our finished home, the overall fit and finish for the price of the home is substandard. We have purchased 8 other new construction homes over the past 30+ years so we know what we should be getting in terms of quality of workmanship. While Lennar advertises "Everything's Included" we found that not to be the case and there was very little we could customize throughout the process. We purchased the house about 8 months ahead of it being completed and had a relative watch the progress. I only wish I was here when it was being built and finished out to challenge Lennar on the workmanship. Now it appears I will have to pay other contractors to fix and bring the house up to my standards. For that it is disappointing but not much that can be done at this point. We will attempt to have some things fixed during the 1 year warranty but I am not going to hold my breath. To do it over again I might not choose Lennar but I think we can make this house viable in terms of a home we want to live in. ... More

It is the worst I had experienced. They mis-represent items. They are not very responsive, When I have an issue, they won't get back to me until I kept calling or I will need the RE agent to contact them before they will get back to me. The closing process was terrible. The workmanship and the material are horrible. I will never ever buy a house from them again.

Moving is really good but the responsiveness and the questions that were answered of the problems in the house after moving in was Lacking any real urgency or willingness to help navigate the issue

Not happy with construction quality of home shoddy workmanship!

It seems like there was a rush to build these homes and to sell them as quickly as possible. Doors are rough and not smooth from bad spray paint job. Trim and molding are rough and bumpy from poor paint job. Wood chips in doors, window sills, and trim that looks like were patched up and painted over without primer so easily distinguishable from the original paint. Dried up paint on glass windows and hardware. Cabinets had scratches and chips. Dried up paint spots on carpet. Just poor attention to detail for a home that costs over half a million dollars.

We really like our house overall. As with any large builder, we continue to find examples of shoddy workmanship and sloppy trim work. Our biggest issue was the fact we specifically asked about hardwoods on the entire first floor of the house and were told the house we were looking at would have hardwoods on the entire first floor. Upon flooring being installed carpet was placed in the guest bedroom, and the builder said that was the spec for the house. This is a small room and would have been a very simple and cheap fix for Lennar, but they simply do not care.

My home buying process was a complete nightmare. Initially the process was quite easy, but as we were getting closer to close escrow, there were a LOT of mistakes made on Lennar's end, lack of communication, and extremely inefficient. The quality of materials used was not the best, and the workmanship was poor. Even when I caught issues that needed to be fixed during the walkthrough, there were several items that were never fixed and I either had to fix them myself or go through the complaint process which prolonged even more. I would not recommend Lennar to purchase a home.

Our condo was completed in less than a year which we were pleased with. What I'm not so pleased with is we were left with broken bi-fold doors, a dishwasher and garbage disposal that hasn't worked since day one and still isn't working. Our outside storage unit wouldn't lock with the keys that we were provided so our outdoor stuff could have been stolen while we waited more than a month for it to be re-keyed. We also weren't pleased with the follow up from our sales rep, he was very unresponsive throughout the process. We have put in trouble tickets to fix the problems that are listed above, I would be surprised if there is any urgency in fixing them since we already own the condo. ... More

The home buying experience with Lennar was not great. We were left to ourselves for pretty much the entire process. On our orientation our Lennar Representative was kind and provided a lot of information but we were never welcomed on site to receive our keys. We were told to just pick up the keys in the lockbox outside our house. It was very impersonal. We did not feel cared or valued. To make matters worse, we have struggled with appliances, paint, carpet issues, and dry wall. Our fridge was installed incorrectly and we were unable to use the water dispenser until two weeks after move in. Our oven still does not work and we have lived in the house for a month without using the oven even once. Carpeting in the owners suite closet with installed without padding and painting on baseboards underneath cabinets was not completed entirely. For the price of the home and this being a Lennar home known to have prestigious background, I have been greatly disappointed. ... More

Not responsive to issues and ignores problems

I expected better quality from Lennar. Totally surprised at the finish product. Enough said!

The consultant was not helpful after getting the deposit would not answer any questions and sometimes it felt like I was bothering him it was not what I expected

Lack of communication and closed on house with a lot of issues!!!
