Hello, The home interior was beautifully built and has had zero issues in our first month. Our only complaint was the overall curb appeal of the landscape. There was no mesh no avoid weed, edging was bad, plant disbursement looked uneven, and just not great. I would rather have landscape be bad than anything else, so still not upset! Our first project was to completely gut it though as a result and do it ourselves. Other than that, everything has been great! Sadly the sod came in when it was crazy hot, so that has been a process to revive but not the fault of Lennar on that! Thanks, Nick

At first it was exciting, lizz was great she always responded to our emails and check in every once in a while. She then moved and we were stuck with Nancy. When doing the tape walk thru we weren't able to hold the tape and things we wanted fixed we would get “it’s reasonably crooked” or “I’ll tape it but I don’t know if it’ll be fixed” as we walked through the house we had to be far from the wall and could not use our flashlight for dark areas. I understand it will not be perfect but if I’m going to be purchasing a new home and paying all that money I would like the house to be satisfactory. A lot of things we marked didn’t get fixed so the day of closing we only brought up the main concerns from our home inspector. Day of closing we had our realtor come in with us and Nancy started getting aggressive to where it got extremely uncomfortable. We wanted to make sure major issues were resolved before signing the iPad where we receive the house the way it is, but she would tell us we have to sign because she has more showings. When asking her about the workmanship she would tell us “I don’t know anything y’all need to sign here. That’s a question for the builder” overall workmanship is bad, not all reps are bad but I would suggest to stay away from Nancy from my experience, houses are built on a reasonable time frame but still I don’t think I’d buy a Lennar home again. ... Horrible experience, from every aspect of the staff. Sales, loan financing, leadership-all are lacking professional customer service skills. Definitely, I will not recommend Lennar to potential buyers!

Walk through was too quick.

Probably the worst consumer buying experience in my life. I have bought many new homes, from many different builders and the lack of professionalism I experienced from this home builder goes beyond description. I'm so over my Lennar home purchase fiascos that I'm just done even mentioning it anymore. I will never.... ever.... ever.... spend my hard earned money on another Lennar Home nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know or who inquires about my experience with this builder..

Bad customer experience. Without water approval the sod is installed for the home backyard ,no water for the sod for more than month.During TLC review I have raised the concern about the sod dying,lennar said sod will come back.Now it’s 2 to 3 months and the sod is dead,when I go back and raise a request,no response.This happened for many houses . NO response from lennar and very bad customer experience. There are multiple points for the bad customer experience.

We had so-called celebration two weeks before closing, we found about 10 items that needed to be addressed. Nothing were done during that two weeks. Day before closing they promised these were going to be fixed right away. Had to leave the house for one week for ceiling repair. Have to leave the house another two days for all the damages that have done to the floor. Part of the garage door needed to be redone which will be in couple weeks. No accountability to what they do. Workmanship is so bad, I thought project manager job is to supervising the project. After two months, our trash can still don't have handle, no gutter to the house, hopefully will be installed before cold weather. Widow sizes are diffrent but they use same size blind which is short on one window, I can add many small items which I am not going to. I was so excited about my house that I convinced my daughter to buy a house in my neighborhood. Her house will be ready on November and I am so stressed out about it. Most of the item go be done with a little supervising. Now Lennard has to spend more money to fix these and also buyers get lots of unwanted stress. ... More

I have been very satisfied with the associates that work for Lennar. Brandon, project manager, was excellent. He was fantastic with updates and any questions that I had. After I moved in, Grayson, was also very helpful with questions that I had. My only complaint or suggestions for Lennar is minor. Why weren't towel bars or ceiling fans installed? It would also have been nice to have an irrigation system installed as well. Having 4-6 hoses plus sprinklers to cover the large grass area was very costly and it interferes with the lawn maintenance. Lastly, setting up the systems for the "smart" house was not very easy for me. It would have been nice to have had someone to come and set it up or a name and number of someone who could do it. We had a number of delays during construction and ended up closing almost 3 months late. Our home is beautiful and worth was worth the wait. We do love the community we moved into. We do feel there were things that Lennar handled very poorly. Our home was not completely ready we feel to close. Weather this was the fault of Lennar or several of the utilities it is still unclear. None of the TV/Internet providers that service the community were prepared for the closing of our home and several others. It took 2 months and a lot of pressure to finally get our home connected. We feel that Lennar did not take the issue serious and did very little to help. We our home being a "smart" home, there were many of the features we we not able to use on day one. This I feel is a big problem for a builder that uses that as a big selling point. Lastly they talked during our acceptance walk that we shouldn't worry about small imperfections, we will have a 30 day walk to capture man small aesthetic items. We have yet to have that walk and we have been in our home for almost 2 months. Again i do love our home and would likely buy a Lennar home again, but there is definitely room for improvement. ... This is my first ever home . My overall experience has been good . Looking forward to what’s to come in the future.

No matter how thorough you are on your new home final inspection, you just don’t catch everything until you lived in the home for awhile. Kudos to Lennar for establishing the Customer Care Center to address the “nits” you discover later on.

This is my second house with lennar. At the time of purchase agreement there is a promotion of 2.5 % off when you buy 2nd home with lennar but sales consultant refused the offer because I am using realtor. That’s totally unfair

everything is included ! the lennar team is very quick to respond and repair any issues we may have .

I absolutely love the location and community. The workmanship is quite good, and I'm pleased with my purchase. The construction manager, Sam, provided top-notch service, and he went out of his way to assist me several times. Sam was the bright spot. My experience elsewhere was disappointing, to say the least. My top complaint is the poor communication with me and within the Lennar functional areas. I often received conflicting information or was provided with information that wasn't true. For example, I was told (in writing) that once I took possession, I could set up my cable service with Spectrum and that Spectrum could only accommodate installations in the 3rd week of the following month after purchase. This is not true. My cable was installed the day I closed. I was shuttled between 3 different salespeople, which resulted in a lack of communication continuity, which resulted in several episodes of confusion. I was told that the garage door opener and mailbox keys would be in my house and mailbox keys could be picked up from the sales office after closing. They weren't. There were multiple times when I went by the sales office during normal business hours and nobody was there. Imagine my frustration when I was told to go back to the sales office to get the keys and they were gone. When I finally received the keys, they were for the wrong resident. It took over 3 weeks to get the mailbox key matter resolved, and I never received any communication without me asking. The mortgage process was no better. I was asked to submit items previously submitted multiple times, there were errors in the pro forma statements provided, and I was shuttled between multiple mortgage contacts. Expectations for the entire process are not communicated upfront, which causes a tremendous amount of confusion and anxiety. I'd still purchase a home here, and I hope the next buyer has a better experience than mine. In a world focused on enhanced customer experience, this experience missed the mark. ... More

Realtor team was good, one issue with Lennar homes is they don’t pay for your realtor. Builder seems to be looking out for themselves multiple issues came up had a hard time getting things fixed. Craftsmanship needs work attention to detail not high-quality products. Landscaping was mediocre already had to replace grass. Overall 3 out of 5 would go with a different builder if I can do it again.

Overall good experience …..there are parts I would most certainly change and now that I moved in I am getting more information then was shared with me. Still waiting for repairs to be made

Would not recommend. From misleading seller aT lennar to the HOA that is a iso telt unreachable, horrible experience with lennar. Wish I never started anything with them

In the first month after closing we ran into a few issues that couldve been avoided. Repair times tool longer than they should. Communication is not a thing with Lennar. The construction crews like to cut corners when building the homes. Lennar doesn't not fill the backyards with grass, some of ours is only dirt. Cracks in the concrete were immediately noticed after closing. Lennar title gave us the wrong amount for closing costs and almost delayed our closing. Our closing date was pushed back about 3 or 4 different times. Plastic bathroom walls were not pushed together correctly, construction manager basically told me im SOL. Grass that was put down was mostly dead prior to it getting here. Our backyard is constantly soaked with water by our back gate, lennar said we can't do anything to fix it. Our particular house was the 3rd house we tried to buy in a 7 month period. 1st one we decided not to go with a 3bd and go with a 4bd. The second home appraised for less than the sell price of the home. The 3rd house was the exact same floor plan as the second, and 2 houses down. Appraisal came in about 2k over sell price. The 2nd house that appraised for less, Lennar wanted us to come out of pocket 6k more, they were UNWILLING to work with us 1st time home buyers. Lennar added a 11k fee essentially due to where the house was located in the neighborhood, bringing out total from 263k to 274k. Even after the final walk though there were issues that weren't fixed, not the biggest of deals but still. About a month after being in the home, we came to find out we had a major gas leak coming from the back of our stove. The fitting wasn't connected properly on the back. I'm assuming during construction a screw driver was drooped into the plumbing pipe in the guest bathroom. Plumbers had to take out the floor, break the wall, base board and concrete to get to the pipe. Then they cut the pipe, took the screw driver out that was causing backup in our toilet AND bathtub. Took about 3 weeks for someone to fix it after multiple phone calls, texts, and putting in claims. Our attic door was not installed correctly. Attempted to have it fixed twice but still no response to it. Im sure I'm missing more stuff. ... More

The quality, attention to detail and amenities of our Lennar townhome is impressive. We love the layout of our new townhome. Our salesman Matt was great. He was thorough and would research and promptly reply to any question we had. Our constriction manager Sam was amazing. He was very responsive to any issue we had. Our concerns were addressed timely and he would communicate what we were to expect at each stage of a repair. Our only disappoint was Lennar Mortgage, specifically Kaiser. We did not get a loan rate lock that we thought Kaiser had done for us. Because of Kaiser’s lack of follow through and inefficiency, we lost a lower rate, had to use an outside lender and it cost us more money. If it wasn't for the mortgage side of our purchase, I would have rated our experience with Lennar with 5 stars. ... More

Poor communication, construction quality poor, lennar staff not willing to deliver quality home, construction manager not responsive n did not fix home inspection issues, home delivery to customer with bunch of issues, after closing complaints not handled, overall extremely bad experience

Once the contract to purchase was signed it was all downhill from there. My contact onsite never kept the commitments he made to reach out. He and the loan rep at Lennar Mortgage didn't communicate with each other. The loan rep never reached out unless I pestered him. The time and location for the doc signing was arbitrarily set and had to be rearranged at the last minute. After move it there has been many issues - range has gas smell, grading of the landscape causing ponding, doorbell doesn't work, the sprinklers are not set up correctly, and more - none of which has been addressed. The post office didn't even have a record of the property! It has been a mess and that mess is not over yet. ... More

Overall; for the price paid, expected better. No warranty on landscaping, poor quality in trees and lawn; after two weeks of moving in; 80% landscaping had to be replaced. Elevation of backyard was poor; created a swampy mud hole; as far as the home design; no upgrades were available to choose from just a basic package with 3 different exterior designs. Not a fan of the security devices that come with home , so we purchased another brand / vendor. Best to take your time and really compare builders vs value.

The experience we shared with Nancy was unprofessional and could have been handled better. It was not a great experience and would not recommend Lennar to family or friends

I don't know where to begin with this awful journey we had on the home buying process. From lack of communication from the loan processing aspect to the abysmal workmanship done on the house. All I can say is, if you decide to go with Lennar GOOD LUCK AND GET YOUR OWN INSPECTION.
