In the past couple months we’ve lived here the HVAC has broken twice… the oven flips the breaker. The hot water heater leaks. Our POC at Lennar was not helpful- in fact it seemed that she actively tried to schedule our 3rd party inspector to come at incorrect times so we had to reschedule with him, as you can imagine that was expensive. Our other POC on site was wholly unknowledgeable about our home. He had not idea where filters should go for the HVAC, and at one point told us our unit didn’t need filters. That being said. I love the layout of the house, the location and our neighborhood. But this can be found without using Lennar. I would not recommend buying a home with Lennar. ... More

I made a life changing decision in November 2021 after staying with family in Fort Worth, TX for about 1.5 months and that was to relocate to this area from California. I targeted new community builds in the local area closest to my family that included DR Horton, MI Homes, KB Homes, and Lennar. I ultimately landed on a Lennar community and a model home given multiple factors including the location of the community, the price point for the house specifications I needed, and the quality of the build. The Lennar workforce from the sales stage to post-closing were wonderful to work with, very professional, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about their products, and followed through with their commitments. They all made for an overall positive buying experience. They included: - Sahil H. He was the face of Lennar as my New Home Specialist and the first person I met upon walking onto the property to secure a purchase. Sahil walked me through their process, continued to support me throughout it, followed up with needs that I had, and went to bat for me as the customer advocate on numerous occasions. - Jeremy W. He was my Mortgage Loan Officer and helped to secure a loan product with which I am pleased. He educated me, offered up options, and followed through with all my needs. - Shannon M. She was my Senior Loan Processor and facilitated all the paperwork needs in order to close. She was very responsive, timely with my informational needs, and was always accessible by phone or email. - Mary M. She was my Escrow Officer and made my closing process seamless. Escrow processes including being able to e-sign on a virtual call with a notary and having my house keys couriered to the new community (as opposed to be driving an hour to the closing office) were very much appreciated. - Scott W. He was my Quality Assurant Representative and engaged me during the pre-final and final walk through. He has superb knowledge of Lennar products and well astute with homeownership. He taught me a lot about the things the property required in such as a short amount of time that we were together. He captured all the items that needed to be fixed for the final walk and ensured that all items were completed. - Richard A. He is my Customer Care Specialist and works onsite at the community. What a great concept of having someone locally in the new community build. Richard came by a few days after closing and walked me through all the essentials of new homeownership including how to submit warranty requests. - Vonda A. She is my Construction Manager who is assigned to the street in which I reside. She is so nice to talk with and always makes herself available no matter what pressures she has to get properties ready. She takes good care of the properties when they are being constructed ensuring that they are secured for the evening. Her need for security also extends to the residents where she placed "slow down" signs for vendors and contractors to be mindful of residents including small children. For any successful product or service, there is always a team of professionals behind them. I'm truly appreciative of this "village" of Lennar professionals that made it all come together for me. ... When we did the inspection few days before closing, the irrigation system broke. So Lennar turned it off. This killed our lawn because no water for the grass. Lennar promised us that they will take care of the lawn and irrigation system. What they did was let the irrigation water the grass everyday and the running time was very long. The front and back yard turned to paddle, wasted a lot water. The water bill for the first month was more than 600 with no one live in the house. And the house was very dirty, some construction waste left inside the garage. We have to hire the cleaner to clean the house before move in. We send email to Lennar and don’t get any response. ... The purchasing and mortgage experience was great. Abby and Gino were available for all questions and extremely helpful. If you don't use Lennar's closing company you are inconvenienced by closing off site. The home is beautiful. However upon close inspection the workmanship for the internal anesthetics is lacking. The painting was incomplete, the entire shower was not thoroughly grouted, multiple cabinet shelving installed chipped and finally the quality of the flooring was subpar. Lennar has contractors who are not paying their employees minimum wage, are paid under the table, not insured or receiving any type of benefits because they are immigrants or undocumented. Matt has been diligent in working to resolve the construction issues but it is a process and some are still pending and the disposition in unknown. ... More

Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. Construction manager never calls with updates on anything, doesn't even answer his phone. Lennar is good at selling homes, but they are pathetic on building houses. I have given you the marks that you deserve and wish we would not have bought a Lennar home. I would and will tell others to avoid any Lennar built homes and pictures of everything that was and mostly still is wrong and will share them with anyone that was interested in seeing them. I asked to be contacted by someone from corporate not in this little loop in Florida and they also have no time for me. Don't buy a Lennar home unless you want FRUSTRATION. By the way we have a cracked door on our pantry from the screws in it. They will not replace the door they are going to fix it I was told. I know writing this I will get no answers from Lennar. Bottom line people they are great at selling, but they do a very POOR JOB Building them! ... More

We purchased a home a few months ago. With some items not finished, but we could longer be in rental so we’re in a bad situation after our house sat for about 3-4 months with minimal to no work done. We closed 3 months late. We still are living in a house with unfinished items and poor quality workmanship. Then we are constantly flat out lied to through out the entire build process and now trying to get warranty issues addressed. My tubs all have rust rings in them and had them at time of closing. My house wasn’t even cleaned. Windows have paint on them, Mia stains on soffit, concrete work is stained and honestly finished at a bad quality. The product you handed over to me and many people I know on my street is downright awful. You should honestly be ashamed of yourselves and your management and anyone who is a lennar employee. Not only will I never buy another lennar home I will always warn people and I will tell everyone about my experience with your company and how truly awful this experience was and badly built this house is. ... There was little or no stress in the entire buying process. It was fun to watch my new home being built. Since I moved from out of state, the initial purchase details where done online without a hitch.

A lot of quality issues!!! Still not fixed!!!! From sheet rock, paint, wrong doors thru out home! Doors will not close property! Drainage issues! Fixtures falling off wall!!! Closing changed a number of times.

The initial process with paperwork is very chaotic. Every Department has different portals and it does not seem that the communication between Departments is fluid. Cassandra was AMAZING but it seems that others handling our account may have been new. I can appreciate a learning process but when time is critical, the mortgage process can not be a learning process when time is of the essence. If they clean this portion up and make one location for the buyer to upload and access documents/status, these would have made all the difference. The craftsmanship of the home is quite an embarrassment. After replacing our kitchen sink the plumbing was not sealed properly and the caulking around the sink was used with painters caulk. This is just one of many examples of the poor construction. For the price you get very cheap materials. We are gradually replacing these now. I knew Lennar construction was cheap or sub-par but this is really an aspect the company should rectify. ... More

I have a very pleasant experience, true value for money. I could see the envy to whom every I showed my house built by Lennar. The quality of the materials used is great, the closing experience was pleasant. I would definitely recommend Lennar to whoever wants to buy a house.

The back light in the patio doesn’t work. They never put the shutters that goes above the garage, still sitting in the garage in a box. Looks like the spill the light grey paint on my dark brown floors did a bad clean up and you can tell.

Lennar has promised to fix several issues including leakage issue from the structure within 14 days of closing the house; however, it’s more than a month and I am still waiting on the fix. Builder has been responsive but it’s of no use when things don’t get fixed. We need some action and not just talks. Very Bad !! I don’t think after this I will recommend Lennar to anyone.

Awesome home I'm happy to stay

We went with Lennar because we had a great experience in purchasing our last home in SCAL. It was the exact opposite in NV. Yes I get it, we had a rough state of affairs in the country in the past 2 years but the builder should not sacrifice the quality of homes that they produce. Finished product was very disappointing. Felt that Lennar was just interested in making money, build as many homes as fast as they can, sacrificing the quality of homes they’re building. From financing, to getting house keys to customer care was just a bad experience for us.

Overall happy with the home. Unfortunately the closing was delayed a few times, no fault of our own.

I would say that the home buying experience would have been great if I went all in with Lennar. Since I did not and chose to go with my own lender things got weird to say the least.

My experience was super positive start to finish. Due to global supply chain issues I did have limited ability to customize. That said, I strongly feel Lennar didn’t take advantage of the situation unlike many other builders who used bidding and other means to inflate the price. I felt the price was reasonable given the situation. The agent was helpful and transparent, the building manager was communicative and easy to work with, and the house was completed ahead of schedule.

The electrical work was, I guess, compliant with the mandatory electrical codes. But, not by much! The work was pretty minimal, was rushed, and of minimal quality and competence. I do t know where Lennar gets these sub-contractors from, but it’s not anything they can or should brag about!

It was great but I was surprise that a Gurage dose not come with the opener, we are trying to buy one now to install.

Exceptional construction team, customer service folks- best of Lennar are the construction managers and the actual quality of the home

Lennar Home Mortgage was a waist of my time! Dealing with the incompetence with the loan officer there made the entire process stressful!!

To this day the houses front entrance of the house is still no painted. Part of the driveway is broken. And the other part is covered in stains. We also have to add water to the pool every couple days because the overflow system is not working properly and the water level gets too low for the cleaning systems to work. One of the sides of the kitchen cabinets is damaged. And part of the wooden trim in the kitchen is missing.
