I feel as though once you’re in the home Lennar no longer cares about you because they got your money. Our ac broke a month in. Our customer care rep is so hard to get in touch with. It’s ridiculous

My financial team was amazing, especially Alex! They did everything they could for me from the darkest of days to the last few days of joy! The building team, not so much. The walk through's, where we kept finding errors and sloppy or unfinished work, seemed to be an inconvenience for them. They couldn't get us to sign off fast enough. By the time of the last walk through i gave up on asking them to remove red paint marks,, blue tape on all borders of the carpet and paint on the carpet. Then they said they would fix the last 4 major items... 2 months later.. still waiting for them to finish Asking for work orders is an easy process, but don't expect follow through or quick response time from contractors. My customer service rep. Cyndi is amazing, doing her best and is kind, but can only work with what they give her. I understand they are still building on the other side of our development, but you would think you would like to be proud of what you do, not just be sloppy and fast as possible. Overall the experience was long, tedious due to shipping delays and joyful at the end. The sales team, financial team and customer service team are outstanding. The on site management are nice and seem willing to do what they can, but didn't always follow through. At the end of the day. Follow up on service requests are slow and incomplete. Not what I expected from Lennar. Very disappointed

Love the house however there has been numerous issues. Took 14 months instead of the 4 months I was told it would take to build. Had about 3 sales contacts after making down payment and a period with no contact for updates on home progress due to high staff turnover. New Home Sales Consultant is hard to reach but Warranty Customer Service is very responsive. House appears well built, but electrical ground rod was left protruding through grass, contractor tractor drove over cable tower causing damage and deep tire tracks in lawn, nail was left protruding through porch floor, contractor left empty water bottle in attic (ADT installer found it when running wires through attic for alarm/camera system), empty water bottles and construction material was left in grass so I wasn't surprised garbage was left in attic. House also delivered without sod in front which HOA sent email about 10 days after moving in. This has been addressed by Lennar, but landscapers installed dead grass so will have to follow-up on that again. Seems like issue is with the contractors. Some doing good work and others doing sloppy work. Warranty department is responsive in regard to addressing aforementioned and other issues, but seem to have a hard time getting reliable contractors to address issues. It's been 2 months and some issues like separating pavers in drive way and exterior paint touch ups have not been addressed yet. Homes were also built without gutters and pavers are not sealed so home owners have to address themselves. Love the layout and look of my house though, inside and out. Appliances are okay. I upgraded from tile to wood laminate floors and it came out absolutely beautiful! Flooring contractor is on point! Carpet is soft and plush. Kitchen cabinets and counters gorgeous. ... More

When my realtor and I went to the Lennar office for our scheduled appointment, we were told we couldn't use the prices on the sheet we were handed as there had been a price increase. That evening we received the updated sheet from Michelle, and yes there was a 5 thousand increase. The next day, March 1, we returned to the office as I had make the decision to go ahead and purchase the house. I left a voided check so that my account could be debited for the deposit. The problem was that the contract didn't get written and processed until a week later. During that weeks time the price increased another 5 thousand dollars. To this day, I feel that was not right for that to happen after I had agreed to purchase at a given price. I feel it was not Michelle's fault, as her coworker, Brandie, had been and was out sick for awhile I believe with Covid. Being in the office and seeing the number of people coming in looking and asking questions, the phones ringing, I could see that one person could not handle it all. So, in my opinion Lennar was at fault for not having adequate help in the office. Michelle, said she went to bat for me with the builder, almost having a melt down, but got nowhere with being given consideration. She said there was an across the board increase. Well and good, but a house that was agreed upon at a certain price and that should have had the contract filled out, the buyer should have had that price honored. I gave an overall 3 star rating because Michelle was professional and nice; her work load was just too much for any one person. ... More

I had good experience starting from initial deposit till closing. However I found issues with quality of workmanship and materials which were resolved to some extent but not fully. Other downside was experience with Lennar mortgage and did not had expected experience. Other improvement required is speed in response to issues created for maintenance requests which are part of warranty.

My house is still not complete.

I didn’t have a good experience because the sales person Eileen was never available to answer any questions or concerns. She wasn’t very professional and that ruined my whole experience as a first time home buyer. I was even looking forward to a picture at closing but I couldn’t even get that, everything was rushed and stressful. And moving in I have many issues. The dishwasher wasn’t working, the stair way carpet is a mess, I have a cabinet broken on the inside. So overall its not a great experience for me.

Overall it was an okay experience. Unfortunately the excitement that comes with buying a home for the first time was deflated a bit when arrived to our home. It was painfully clear that sub-contractors were not held to any sort of standard resulting very poor craftsmanship. QA/QC was not conducted to standard by Lennar’s construction manager. Interior paint barely qualifies as single coat, tiles uneven, large portion of kitchen and bathroom floors were not caulked, nails left protruding through cement in garage, gaps in drywall in utility room, sprinkler system barely covered by dirt in places….the list goes on. We closed remotely making it difficult to assess quality through virtual means, I find it hard to believe the Lennar reps did not notice these issues. It seems as though the Lennar reps knowingly avoided correcting these obvious issues prior to the final inspection. Since moving into our home we have observed the conduct of contractors and Lennar reps during the weeks and days leading up to other virtual closings in our community which only reinforced my belief that most members of the Lennar team do not act in the best interest of the buyer. I have no doubt that I will discover more issues as time goes on; we have only lived in the home for a few weeks. To be fair, Lennar reps were fairly responsive to concerns when we pushed the issue but the quality of work performed to “correct issues” was just as poor as the original work. Tips: Do NOT close remotely, Lennar will take advantage of it. Hire a picky third party inspector and stay attached to his or her hip during by phase inspections. Make sure the inspection package includes a “Warranty Inspection” around the 11 month mark after your closing to fully capture warranties deficiencies. Use your own lender, Lennar’s incentives disappear through crazy math at closing and you’re still stuck with a higher interest rate. Be very thorough during your walk through and insist on re-inspecting prior to closing. ... More

So many problems and repairs needed to a brand new home. Quality of finishes is horrible. Still waiting on repairs 2 months after moving in.

The good: I like the floorplan and love the neighborhood we moved into. Enjoyed working with the sales person that helped us buy the house. The rest: The finish quality in the home and the materials used are appalling. The kitchen cabinets are the cheapest cabinets I've ever seen. The ready made cabinets at Lowes or Home Depot are better than these. The electrical work scares me. I had to install a couple of new fans and it looks like a high school shop class put the electrical in. Our water coming out of the faucet in the Texas summer is beyond warm, it is downright hot. I recently found why, the water line runs directly over the garage with a minimum of pipe insulation. This is something that is going to have to get revisited. Overall I like the house, but am very disappointed in the build and finish quality. ... More

There really doesn’t seem to be quality control. The contractors review their own work and the construction managers take them at their word until the perspective owner comes and looks at the work. The toilet wasn’t level, the stairs were out of plumb, a few walls weren’t square, and they missed the electrical outlet needed on the island, the decking where the AC unit was installed wasn’t not level and the AC unit was installed anyway. The AC unit was installed anyway and actually was missing a recirculating valve. This cause the unit to sweat immensely and water to run off into the insulation and back of the sheet rock. There were other small issues like paint missing, trim was missing or poorly installed. ... More

Closing was very unorganized. Dates changed. Lennar blames my lender, lender blames lennar. Never knew the truth.

Sales office would say anything to sell a home, Shame on us for not looking into a few things ourselves and taking their word. Biggest issues is street behind us, once we moved in found out it is a short cut from Aurora to Parker, CO. Construction team on our home refused to listen to concerns on safety, and structural problems. He has no communication or people skills what so ever. Not someone you would want representing your company.

The experience in the purchase with the sales team was good, friendly and easy, but the defects and problems inside the house due to the poor finish was very bad, we arrived a month and 20 days from the closing and we still have many unsolved problems , I thought that buying from a company like Lennar with such prestige in the market we were going to be fine, but it was not like that

Overpriced, contractors should do the job correct the first time, problems should be fixed ASAP, communications need to be more verrbal. Just disaattiiffiied

I’ll start by saying I’m frustrated which in turn makes me angry. This is my first experience with buying a new home I’ve owned several home in the past none new. I was excited at the possibilities. I closed on May 27th and moved in on May 31st. I agreed to purchase my home on Jan. 31st, 2022, I was giving numerous closing dates which proved to be challenging for different reasons none of which matter now. The process with purchasing the home through Lennar was relatively pain free, I had good communications with all the entities even when I got to the final closing it was well done. 11PM at a McDonalds in Deming NM! Now I must vent about my purchase. I’ll start by saying my reported challenges have been addressed promptly. I do feel it’s in Lennar’s best interest to see and understand my frustrations. First the cleanness of the home, the floors were a mess the counters and floors have a sticky substance that is difficult to remove also paint and drywall mud. All of which could have been prevented by covering the floor while they work. I’m 62 years old and for me to have to crawl around on my hands and knees trying to clean the floors and counters is unacceptable (I still don’t have them clean enough) all the surfaces in the home were covered in a fine dust. It would be in Lennar’s best interest if you had a cleaning crew come in before new homeowners arrive with their belonging. I spent an entire day cleaning before my movers arrived. Next is the garage I know not much in the big picture, but the floor is a mess and not easy to clean once you move in. The overall design of the house has its challenges. No medicine cabinets in the bathroom, the kitchen cabinets are small and not positioned in a user-friendly manner, the pantry is to small even for one person, there’s no linen closet. I’ve had to spend thousands of dollars for storage solutions. I guess these are things you need to look for when purchasing a home, we all know what happens when we assume these are standard items in a home. I’ve had a chance to meet some of my neighbors and we all have the same concerns. Next Screens or lack of, I was shocked when I brought it up and was told you don’t provide screens! Who installs windows without screens. I’ve talked to varies neighbors and they received screens They said they had to fight for them, but they got them! The window company Avanti has no interest in supplying screens I’ve left messages twice without a return call. Now for the basic workmanship (deplorable) drywall mud spilled on the baseboard and painted over.Baseboards not finished. Grout repair with mismatching grout. My plumbing backed up after 10 days. The plumbing company responded promptly; it took another day to fix. My front yard had to be torn up the problem was unbelievable Hopefully it’s fixed, after seeing the problem I have my doubts. My master bathroom shower was still not draining I had to wait another day for the inside plumbing crew to fix it. Two days without a working shower. My yard had to be restored. This has happened to others on this street, it can be as simple as running a camera down during final plumbing inspection to prevent this from happing. I’m sure this has cost the company a tremendous amount of money and is another reason you have frustrated homeowners. I understand finding qualified workers is a challenge and was one of the reasons for the delay in finishing the home. Hiring shilled labor, professionals who take pride in there work even if you must pay more would be so worth it in the long run. Its obvious to those of us who have purchased or are renting Lennar homes that the people you hired are unskilled and could care less about the finished product. And that’s too bad. Out of four neighbors I’ve spoken with personally not one would consider a Lennar home in the future. I know I “only” purchased a $300K home but with the attention to detail that I’ve experienced when I’m ready for a $500K home I won’t consider Lennar. My neighbors are a young couple renting for a year to see if the like the area, they told me today they would never consider a Lennar home. Again, too bad because the selling, mortgage, title and Insurance part of your company is good. That’s it for my rant today, I feel with the right people driving the building train and some conscientious skilled labor you could make this a much better experience and possibly have repeat customers. ... This was the second place we purchased at Heritage. I was pleasantly surprised that the walk-thru was clean (unlike our coach home). However, during construction, someone failed to tighten/glue/affix the plumbing so the condo flooded. It was fixed quickly and timely and the rug was replaced but... it was clearly a big issue and something so easy to be done by the contractors.

Quality on paint job was poor. The day of walk thru so many were pointed out. Appliance quality is poor especially washer is poor. Poor job on hard wood floor Pull out shelves should be standard for a 55 plus community.

Construction took almost 1 yr to finish, closing date moved 5 times. Closed with interest rate 2% higher than when contract was signed because of construction delays- by the time house is ready for move in interest rates are already too high. Moved in and some issues with house still unresolved. Still waiting for Lennar to resolve some issues and have not heard from them still.

I would advise potential homeowners to consider waiting to close on their home until their ENTIRE punch list is either complete or is very short and reasonable in length. It is reiterated to you once you receive a closing date, especially at the end of the month The subcontractors for paint, Nickolas C, area construction manager, has yet to meet with me despite my requests as well as the requests from the builder and the Director of Customer Care for him to do so. I hesitate to refer other buyers to purchase from Lennar.

My apologies I cant give a good review.

The orientation of the home as it turns out was awful. NOTHING was explained regarding hot water tank use and especially all the RING stuff and the fact it had to be installed within 55 days or HIPPO insurance comes with money owed due to missing the date. NONE of that was ever explained.
