It was overall good. The only thing I didn’t really appreciate was the home loan officer that I worked with, who was very unresponsive and difficult to deal with. Not helpful at all, especially as a first time homebuyer, the loan officer made it such an unpleasant experience. During the home celebration/inspection, we found a few paint that needed to be addressed and I was promised that we can ask for some paint after we fully moved in. Now that we’re all moved in for a month now, they’re saying they can’t give us any paint as it is a state law.

Felt like the issues never got resolved and it was rushed just trying to close us on the house there’s lots of screwed up things that’s should of got fixed and now I have to do warranty work for all of it instead of it just getting done right the first time I don’t roll like that and I find it unacceptable when other people do

I pay extra for this lot , thinking offers privacy but the lot is full off low quality clay dirt. So its useles nothing can be planted on it when it rain takes long to drain ,when its dry is hard like rock and crack..

Our sales rep Ashley was awesome but after we got into the process we were hit with so many websites and “individuals” in charge. Most never contacted us or just sent another thing to do, no consistency. Was never asked or consulted on my interest rate or points. The day of our celebratory ( not sure what that means-in other new homes the team showed up and usually had a welcome gift) walk thru the whole company was in a meeting. The materials used do not match the price point of the house. It’s across the entire neighborhood. From the house materials, to the inside, to the outside. Here is an example that is almost laughable. The sod they installed was found to be Bermuda grass that was over-seeded with Rye grass It looks awful to say it nicely. They tried to tell us it was because we allowed weeds to grow, multiple landscapers said they were wrong and trying to cover their tracks. During the buying experience I was displease to be told by my salesperson, Michael that i could not choose anything with regards to my home to include the lot and that I had to take what was given to me. In addition I requested a water view and was told that the remaining homes were sold and that wasnt true. Very disappointed with lot grading! When picked out the lot was a nice flat lot. Never did Lennar show us the topography map. Now we have a patio with a very steep fall off! Not happy!

If you buy a home here, be prepared to spend additional money outside of the purchase price for upgrades. We hired contractors to replace the standard rack pantry shelves with wooden shelving. Also hired a contractor to paint the entire inside to replace the flat paint job with satin paint. Also hired a contractor to replace the standard tub in the guest bath with a soaker tub. The homes are all spec homes so you can't customize anything. The upgrades we added weren't necessary, but we wanted our new home to sparkle. Best buy for the money. Both the house and loan. However, make no mistake, that price comes at a cost. The processes and policies have very little flexibility. Either you are on the Lennar train or you are out. I caution buyers to read earnest money agreement carefully, as it is not the industry standard and you will be held to what is in there.

I’m grateful for the financial incentives that allowed me to get a new house. However, I am deeply disappointed in the process of getting the mortgage and the follow up on builder issues is poor. The house itself has some nice features but not built with high quality materials. The double garage is minimal so if you want some storage space you may have to decide not to use it for your cars. It’s barely big enough to fit two cars. The principal bedroom is large and the walk in closet is spacious. There’s no ceiling fans and no medicine cabinet and no towel racks.

The overall experience was not bad, my frustration with this experience was lack of communication. After you sign you basically have to pull teeth to get responses. After you close its even worse... ive asked for the paint code for our walls from the construction manager like 30 times and he just ignores me. Once you buy they dont care.

Buying this house was easy. Once I moved in and began to notice the terrible attention to detail, I am regretting trusting those involved. Backyard floods- I have dogs and mud is tracked everywhere. Drywall is aweful; putty holes, unsanded parts of the walls, corners unsmoothed. Shower grout slopped on and then they expect the homebuyer to seal the grout work. My refrigerator was dented and misaligned due to damage. Tasks the construction manger promised would be taken care of never got touched. Every builder will cut corners. Lennar is no different. The home is beautiful inside and out, but the way HVAC, gas lines, were ran will make it a huge pain to finish your basement if you ever decide to. Construction manager told me incorrect information about my home as well, so take their knowledge as a grain of salt.

From the beginning, the sales consultant did not explain the process--especially that with Lennar there was really no choice in anything. The consultant did not explain that a buyer basically takes the next house that is scheduled, and the limited choices, interior and lot, are already determined by Lennar.
