It was ok, not a exceptional one

The people are amazing, great at their jobs, efficient and attentive with great personalities and customer service. I recommend using Lennar’s services every step of the way through the entire process. They made it incredibly efficient and easy.

Great floorplan and upgrades. Drywall, paint, and details around the house have been quite shoddy. The electrical breaker for the dryer outlet was never installed! How did that even pass inspection??

Our construction manager, Eric, was the best! He was always available to answer questions. He was very professional and on point with his work. He always handled everything with a smile and his tone never changed for the worse. He is an excellent CM and because of him, I would buy a Lennar home again! He delivers what he promises and on time! He even went the extra mile on closing and after closing to ensure we were set with our purchase. Hire Eric again for your next project!!!

Terrible experience. Cheapest products. All the way to closing. Never buying a lennar home again.

Till Today - 2nd Aug'22, The builder has not completed the work which they supposed to complete. It's a worst experience we all still have with Lennar. Because of you guys on broken sprinkler system.. I paid about $350 just for water. And have no proper response at all.

We’ve only been here a short time but so far we like the experience. The best thing about the community are the neighbors. We all want to enjoy our time here and everyone is trying to make that happen. Not much is open yet, but the community garden has been a great experience. We’re looking forward to the clubhouse being completed and activities set up. We’ve had some issues with our house, such as cracked sidewalks, sloppy workmanship, and “smart” technology, but hopefully those things will be corrected. Communication with management is an issue as well.

Lennar has been great to work with. Candace was so helpful through the home selection process and Mike has been beyond helpful with everything since moving in. We are so happy with our experience and our new home!

When we moved in there were 15 pages of items to be done in the home whether they be paint or touchups or wall issue or lights. I wish we would’ve had someone review the home before the first walk-through that would’ve saved not only on pages but on things to be done that were left before closing which usually is about five days approximately from the walk-through. Even though we are in a different time where everybody doesn’t come on time I would’ve appreciated a walk-through before my closing that had less pages of things to do . I am still dealing with some issues the response for some of those issues have been great by the Lennar Care team but I still have a couple pending and I closed in June and we are in August now . ... Ali, our sales consultant was very professional as were our mortgage and title representatives However, our pre close and post close walk throughs were apparently a waste of time. We closed over 6 weeks ago and still have simple paint and electrical issues that have not been addressed and our backyard is so poorly graded that we can’t use it because it is soggy and muddy.

I requested for appraisal two weeks before closing they never disclosed until the day before closing. Lennar disclosed low appraisal just the day before closing and asked me to pay the difference or to walk out leaving the pre advance paid. Very bad experience overall

Mass produced homes Not bad considering responded to most issues quickly.

Not only was my house incomplete, but the work that was done was very poor quality. I was told workers would be back to complete the construction and never showed. My roof leaked and ruined a bedroom the second night I was here. I’m still trying to get repairs a month later. Absolutely horrible experience so far!!!!!

My experience with Diane and Jennifer who were my loan officers was a nightmare, as I had to explain several times a day over a period of over 4 months for my documents and loan processing. I had to settle for quarter point higher rate due to their delay in rate lock. The build quality left a few things to be finished like garage footboard, and finish quality of cabinets and windows, design of mater bedroom. Though Heather did her best to deliver the home it had a handful of deficiencies and poor inspection of HVAC and appliances. If you read the reviews for Lennar they are mixed to be sure. Either very satisfied or extremely disappointed. I'm somewhere in the middle. My sales associate was great. The home is tasteful, but the build quality is only slightly above average. The house was overpriced, but isn't everything today. But for half a million dollars I would have expected more attention to detail as well as respect. Lennar Title and Lennar Mortgage should be avoided; they're snakes. Lennar Mortgage especially. Lennar credited me $10,000 even though I didn't use Lennar Mortgage due to their refusal to help me initially and then dropping the ball late in the game. Unfortunately, Lennar Title withdraw the $10k credit THREE HOURS before closing with no explanation; see you in court. Lennar delivered my home with dead, haphazardly, and poorly installed sod. Their justification, "this is what to expect when you buy a Ford instead of a Ferrari." We almost walked away from the closing, but they had us trapped. Our family's experience with Lennar, unfortunately, has been TERRIBLE. Lennar has completely ridden a hot market wave to take advantage of buyers and gotten away with poor quality finishing and broken promises. The home buying experience. We bought a home in Apex that was completed and closed almost 6 months after original closing date. When talking to the sales team given all the implications this delay had on our family, instead of listening, acknowledging impact of the delay, they took cero responsibility and blamed suppliers for their broken commitments. And yes, we understand the supply chain crisis impacted everyone, but knowing this was a critical time, with 2 years of pandemic to have adjusted to the crisis, Lennar did very little to stay ahead of the challenges. Very poor planning and professionalism to handle complexity. In our convo with the sales manager (John), a guy completely clueless, after the convo I really kept asking my wife how is he even qualified for the job. John agreed to follow up on a few points we had sincerely expected they could support, and instead of responding to these points on time how you would expect, almost a month later he responds to them, after multiple follow ups, and his response practically quotes the contract and how they are in no obligation to meet our request. He was right, but my point is, they didn't even try, ignoring and maybe even believing they had no responsibility. clueless. And this is not all, and probably an error we committed, but still something Lennar Sales team should have advised on. There is a sight triangle that goes through our property. As a first time buyer I didn't even know this was a thing, but the issue was, it was never really advised. Their sales team, could have taken a moment to inform this was the case and its implications, but it was completely omitted from their sales pitch. Closing At closing, the home was far from ready. They made a list of promises of things to fix. And it's been 2 months now and the list has not been completed. We've had to contest everything, because they don't show a genuine interest in helping and completing the job. If there was anything agreed upon by their construction manager, be assured that the post-sales team doesn't really care. They'll want you to have evidence because their word doesn't really count. Of course we should have known this, and even with evidence it's been challenging to get them to accept responsibility over their commitments. The home We've been shocked by the poor quality in terms of finishing for a single family home in Apex done by Lennar. They really don't care and expect their customers to simply be ok with it because the market favors the builder. Going up the stairs in our home, if you see underneath the rail, which you can if you are going up the stairs, the job seems done by children that are playing arts and crafts and not by professionals. The holes done for the rails are all uneven, no consistency, really done favoring speed vs a job well done. I've sent them pictures of how it should be and they said they could not do it that way, so you can't do it right? Overall, having the opportunity again, or hypothetically turning back time, I would never buy a house with Lennar. ... More

The overall experience was pretty good. There was a lack of response and “weekly” updates as it got closer to my house being finished, the expectations set in the beginning were that updates would be more frequent the closer we got to the finish line. The first walk thru was very thorough. Some issues found in the second walk thru(siding falling off my house), fridge not being level, took over a month to get fixed and it took submitting several tickets to the customer service department. The customer care rep I have now is very responsive and after I got in touch with the siding company, they had my issue fixed in a couple of days. Overall, I love my house. A few things I would change are the paint and carpet. Everything that touches the wall makes a mark and the carpet is starting to come up in the doorways. The pool in the community is still not finished(I started this journey in august 2021) and looks like it will be great for about 10 children when it is completed next summer. Although Lennar homes aren’t totally custom there are many options and finishes one can choose from. Great workmanship and consistent weekly communication throughout the building process. We love our home!

Our sales agent, Julie L. and walk through guide, Jamie, were terrific. They responded to our questions and concerns pretty quickly, considering how busy they got. The construction material for walls, standard tiles, and standard floors are Ok. I was surprised but not shocked to find they use 1/4 inch drywall. But so far, we don't hear our neighbors, so the insulation is decent. However, the Lennar escrow company is a huge pain. They were slow to provide requested standard docs (like disclosures or insurance policies) to our lender -- our loan officer had to ask (emails & phone calls) at least 5 times over the course of 2-3 weeks. But the escrow company wanted loan docs in 1 (one) day when we were still in the process of getting paperwork signed and/or submitted. Admittedly, the underwriters needed at least 1 day to respond. LENNAR'S ESCROW COMPANY gets tons of complaints -- especially by buyers who use their own mortgage lenders! So keep that in mind. Post-closing: We found problems with the dryer and oven. Lennar told us to deal with GE ourselves for the dryer, but did send electricians to fix the oven light. ... More
