Our first thought is, there was no attention to detail. Very poor quality and workmanship. It seemed to us that the general contractor did not do any walkthroughs. Prior to closing we did our own inspection, there was missing insulation (completely missing from the front of the house) and the electrical box was not grounded, two major issues, which we wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t because of our inspection. We noticed a lot of imperfections on our walls, floors, paint, dry wall and ceilings. They are putting these homes up “fast” and not ensuring quality at all. With that said, our closing was delayed almost three months. After closing we have had leak issues and grading issues, to name a few. Customer service is spotty at best and can be unresponsive at times. Closing was a complete chaos (we used the builders company) and a total disappointment, worse part of the whole process. Most of this rating is related to with after the blue tape walk through, Cody and Brian were very responsive but very little was corrected by the fixing team, especially final cleaning. We had to send a detailed list to Cody of issues after we had closed. Including not being able to lock the front door. Hopefully this rating will cause some one to contact us in order to lay everything out. We are still waiting confirmation, since 22 Decembers closing, that all had been corrected. Since we are still overseas, Our realtor has graciously been our agent there working with your team.

Most customers who buy new homes already sign up for the homes even before it is built. So it is possible to customize some of the features that the customers ask for. An example for this is the choice of appliances. However, Lennar does not provide this option. They only build houses with their rigid plans.

The quality of workmanship does not reflect the price of the home. For the price we paid, we expected far better. The layout of the house is great and we love living here. Just wish there was a greater attention to detail that corresponded to the cost.

At first prior to going into contract, the sales team so super friendly and would always respond and communicate. I’ve you go into contract with them, it all goes away. Everyone on the office plays the blame game with no one taking accountability. They are rude and made our home buying experience very negative. David basically told us that his drive home was more important than us getting our keys and gave us all sorts of attitude. When he dropped off our keys, he did not acknowledge me but walked straight to my husband and only spoke to him. No one reached out to explain the closing process and expected us to know everything. I probably would never buy another Lennar home and wish I could have backed out after being treated like this. Their construction manager, Warlito was amazing and knowledgeable. He walked us through everything and explained it to where we could understand. He answered all our questions and is more reliable than the sales office. ... More

Our construction manager had just been transferred to this community 2 days prior to our NHO. He did not know how to answer simple questions about what to expect in the community. He rushed us through the house at NHO and was very dismissive when we pointed out cosmetic defects. We did not get to "blue tape" the house and are now faced with a myriad of issues, such as overpaint everywhere, to the point we have to be on our knees scraping it off. There are baseboards that do not meet at the angle, cement that is crumbling and stained and don't even get me started on the lawn- uneven, full of weeds and dead in several areas prior to the dormant stage. The tile work in the shower is not plumb, and we already had to have shower glass brackets replaced due to rust. The paint on trim- window ledges and baseboards and such is VERY sloppy and I'm sure we will have to pay for it to be re-done. ... More

We were excited to join Angeline community and are going to be snow birds January-March. We were told we would close in mid October. The close date was moved up to mid September and thus we had a purchase earlier than desired. We were also told the clubhouse would be ready by year end and it is not close to being finished. As a big exercise enthusiast and swimmer it has added expense and travel to our stay this winter. Quality of cupboards is not great, dishwasher is a cheap model. Also trying to get some work orders completed-we had 2 cracked tiles, lots of paint drips in the house after touch ups, and drips in the sinks. We were told the paint drips are cosmetic and not their fault but there are drips all over the tile! Overall not very happy with the service provided by Lennar thus far. ... More

Our buying experience was pretty good. Timelines were met and the team kept us informed. We did not get to customize anything outside of their choices which was frustrating. Once we got into the house we had a water leak which flooded the kitchen the first time we used the dishwasher. We noticed several other issues which makes us seriously question the quality control. Instead of staining the wood trim ends we’ve found black sharpie markers covering a missed end. I can’t even fix it now! Electrical problems have also popped up and our breakers continue to pop when we just use a vacuum. Overall, we love the house and curb appeal but really struggling with many details inside. Good incentives, but the quality of the home is not great. You get what you pay for.

If you go everything lennar (mortgage,title,etc) its fast since you are only dealing with one company. But, that limits your options. Main issue, they don’t install the sod/grass until you buy the house. So end up doing the work on maintaining the initial install. watering twice daily for 2 weeks and if you miss it then you have terrible lawn. Its a learning curve for first time homeowners without lawn care experience. Specially if you haven’t move in yet, They install sod without telling you so you miss the watering days and end up with dead sod

Lennar did not stand with there name to provide the quality. With Lennar I aspected to provide quality workmanship.

I have yet to receive any follow up from my original walkthrough from closing nearly two months ago. The response has been unacceptable.

There are some nice features in the house. We were not allowed to change anything even though we were willing to pay for tile in all rooms. We had a home inspector inspect the house and he made a list of things that were not done correctly in early August. We are still trying to get the last of those items finished and it is October 11th. We were not told the truth and closed on the house after being assured that all the repairs were completed only to find out that at l1 items were still not completed. For the most part the warranty repair people are much better than the original people that built the house. They have been very good to work with and do a quality job. ... More

The sales agent we worked with was fantastic and the mortgage person was fantastic too and got us a great rate. On the builder side, however, there were issues and delays. In several walks of the house, I listed several issues with the construction team and many of those issues went unsolved and as we live in the house, they continue to remain unsolved.

Quality and workmanship is poor.

Doors were never touched up before moving in, had to repaint ourselves. Kitchen cabinet is crooked. Flooring is raised in certain spots, back fence is already separating & we have only been here 1 month. For what we paid, I expected a higher quality of workmanship.

Overall we are very happy with our home and the community! The largest complaint we have is the workmanship. Attention to detail has been lost for sure. Landscaping and concrete work has been terrible and an ongoing headache. The money Lennar saved with low bid has cost us huge in time spent managing repairs, not to mention the work I have to go back and redo. Lennar, please start taking pride in your own product and ensure quality work is done ahead of time.

I have submitted several issues that need to be addressed and have not received any response from you. When will my repair and maintenance issues be taken care of?

Lennar does not respond to issues with my home, the common areas, and HOA is out of control and non-responsive.

This is the fourth home I’ve bought and none have been so frustrating with the paperwork as purchasing this house. It got to the point of them asking for more and more paperwork that it was completely affecting my job and my sanity. That being said, the people I dealt with on the mortgage side were always extremely polite and helpful so that made it a little better. Now on the home side… I’m six or seven weeks in and I’m still waiting on them to fix issues they signed off on saying would be fixed before we moved in. Our entire house needs to be repainted because of the bleeding through of the drywall mud, which myself and two other people taped on the final walkthrough just for the “painters” to come through and take the tape off but not paint anything. We have been living in here for that long with all these pieces of tape throughout the entire house and find more almost every day. We can’t put pictures or curtains up, it just feels like we aren’t fully living here yet because we keep waiting on it to be done. They send people out to fix mistakes but each trade says “too big of a job, we can’t do this” and leave. It’s costing me time from my job to be home for these people and really makes what should be a wonderful experience of a brand new home a big dud. To start, my 3rd party inspector found way too many issues for a brand new home. Now that it has been a month more and more issues pop up. I can barely get the warranty rep (Hunter) to even return my call after giving him 12 days to review the newest case I have submitted. I am currently not satisfied with my overall experience and Lennar could do better.

El cierre se aplazó varias veces después de 3 aplazamientos debí cambiar de compañía (realizando las mismas funciones y el mismo cargo) además de volverme a aplazar me subieron el precio. El valor de las cuotas y el interés me lo dieron un día antes del cierre. CERO ATENCIÓN AL CLIENTE por parte del banco de LENNAR. La asesora (Graciela) nos atendió muy bien e hizo todo lo posible por ayudarnos además de la notaria cuando fuimos a firmar. Nuestro proceso duró más de 2 años, lo que hizo que tuviéramos que pagar más intereses, nos exigieron la mitad de la cuota inicial ya que nosotros pagaríamos el 20% del valor de la casa (dimos 50.000) en marzo de 2022 y nos dijeron que en caso de retirarnos del negocio perderíamos nuestro dinero por esta razón tuvimos que tolerar tanta falta de respeto. I felt rushed during the initial and final walkthrough, and was disappointed at how much blue tapping was still needed on the day of closing.

We closed on May 30, 2023, still waiting for the house keys, still waiting for the floors to be cleaned. (glue smeared on the floors) We have still not moved in, so hoping before July 30th the floors will be cleaned and we will have our house keys. Just in case I just bought a floor steam cleaner to get the job done. Also wondering how the hurricane shutters work..They need to have something like a New Home Ambassador to help the new owner and answer our questions. Like when is the trash pickup?
