We loved working with Lennar. Heros was great and super helpful.

I know you guys work with different contractors, but it's clear that the builders cut corners and it's up to the buyers to "catch things" that were missed. For example, our carpet throughout the whole house is lumpy with peaks and valleys in every room. However, we love the floor plan, the house itself and are happy to be here. We just have to be "on top of everything" inside and outside the house. It's not a relaxing experience, instead we are the foreman after we move in. Issues have been addressed hit and miss with workers coming at unscheduled times and whenever they can. I work from home so I can make this work, but it's not organized or planned. The yard needs additional work and it was rushed. We are now having to go back and address various issues inside and outside the house. ... More

Beautiful house with lots of room

Lennar is a great track home builder and they are the best to deal with when it comes to buying a home from A to Z. All companies working under the Lennar supervision are great in the process of completing the home building and the buying process. I recommend Lennar extensively to any one that is ready for a smooth transition to a new home.

I have had nothing but usses, last straw was I signed all the paperwork and didn't get possession for 7 days. As I was paying for the place. Sent emails asking to be reimbursed, as of today Aug 16th ZERO ZERO ZERO response. My keys were not even presented to me, left on counter with construction workers. They got my money, and left me hanging.

My house did not appraise for the sale price and that effected my down payment and interest. It was a fiasco. Since I moved in I’ve submitted several work orders and had slow response for each.

Call Price sales agent was not particularly easy to work with. However, Melissa warranty person and Season the project person very helpful and responsive!

One do not use lennar mortgage they are terrible!!!! I know they say you'll save money that way, but your sanity will pay for it!!! The overall build wasn't bad, but their tile contractor did a terrible job in the master shower. You can't even drive a uhaul no matter the size onto the driveway because the concrete is so thin!! They didn't put a man door in the garage and to close off the garage even more they put the big ol tankless hot water heater on the inside!! Terrible idea!! This is the last lennar home I will buy ever!!!

We are very happy with our place, however I am going to leave very honest feedback with the hopes that things are improved for our future neighbors! The appliances, materials, and equipment are all high end and good build quality, but the finish appeared sloppy and in our opinion did not meet the standard. Paint was slopped on doors, tiles, windows, light fixtures, light switches, appliances (Fridge, oven, microwave, etc.). The door jambs had plaster/paint all over them. It appeared very rushed. Our cabinets had a lot of nicks and scratches. The railings, baseboard/trim, and crown molding have paint imperfections (mostly dripping paint that dried in place, but very obvious) but also the corners don't fully connect and have gaps as if they weren't cut to proper length. We did 3 Re-Walk's to blue tape everything we could find and we still have stuff like hardened glue substance on our shower tile that I cannot scrape off (The builder tried). It needs some sort of chemical remover or something. The builder was responsive and tried to address everything. Construction: We totally understand that we bought a pre-construction home and the surrounding construction and street conditions don't bother us because we expected it. Its part of the process. However we were told we would never be blocked in and that the construction teams were notified not to block the entire street so we could still get in and out as needed. However, at times we were blocked in on almost a daily basis between 8:30-5:00. We typically have to go flag someone down, who often doesn't know who drives which vehicle so it takes upwards of 10 minutes to get multiple people to move vehicles around. And that's just to come back 30-45 minutes later to do the same exact thing because they blocked our garage again or the whole entrance to the street. In one instance we had a real medical emergency and we were EXTERMELY thankful and fortunate that my wife was not blocked in, but an example of why this is a little more than just an inconvenience. Trash: Its also been more than a month and we still have not had our trash picked up. I'm not sure how many times my wife has called, but enough that she feels uncomfortable calling again. We've been told multiple times that the team has been updated or notified that this street needs trash picked up, but it has yet to happen as of today. I hope this feedback is helpful for someone. I really do love this place but these are major concerns we have been dealing with since early July. I have been in my home almost 12 weeks and I’m still waiting on some things to be finished. I do understand that supply and labor shortages may have impacted it but it’s been a long wait and I’m ready for my home to be completed. Other homes under construction have been getting supplies so why has it taken so long to get mine? Overall I’m happy with my home but that has been frustrating.

THE ENTIRE PROCESS WAS OK .

Check inside refrigerator, how crisper drawer pulls out. Check how manual slider lock in garage was installed. Check your microwave above stove - can you see how it’s cooking. Short people can’t see what is going on.

They rushed at the last min and many thing like the mail has been a inconvenience.

Lennar construction have no craftsmanship.My entry door is manufactured defective waiting for replacement. Customer care team can’t do miracles until they get parts. Cunstruction supervisor is trying to finish and sell he doesn’t care about quality . I hope upper management team will do more better

Used cheap materials, and it shows. Why no gutters? Think where the water goes when it rains, and it rains a lot in florida. Appliances are cheap, who buys a side by side fridge? The walk thru with a Lennar guy made me feel like I was complaining when all I wanted was a good home, I think I deserve that for $350,000.

Having a hard time getting things fixed or people over to fix items that should have been done at closing. Wouldn’t recommend lennar and will learn from this company moving forward.

I had bought several new homes from kbhome, century communities and Lennar. Lennar workmanship is the worst I have seen and to name a few, you can see the paint roller on the ceiling, nails sticking out of baseboard, cracks in the bath tubs, etc....My main complain is the interior and exterior paint quality and workmanship. It seems the painter didn't care and just paint one layer of paint instead of severals and be done with the job. I even can paint better than them. As far as materials quality, they are by far the bottom comparing with others builders and a very disappointment since I heard some good stuff from Lennar. A good thing I can say about Lennar is their fast response on fixing issues such as their warranty. ... More

You pay for what you get and even more with Lennar. The builder is trustworthy in that it builds what it advertises. There were issues during the process, but they were quickly resolved satisfactorily by the sales, mortgage, and builder teams. We've been enjoying our new house in an excellent community for more than 1 and a 1/2 months. Of course, there were problems registering the house with the USPS (huge problems for other stuff), but that's not the builder's responsibility. I would highly recommend buying a new Lennar home for everyone.

From the very beginning responsiveness in regard to workmanship has been nothing less than poor.

No idea why a ticket is closed, no response updates to monitor, poor workmanship, bad quality, continuous surprises in terms of quality issues

My home has many issues from minimal to major. The craftsmanship is terrible and so is the follow-up on the backend via warranty. The cheapest solution is sought in every case and typically requires numerous attempts. This was my first experience buying a new build and has turned me off from it completely. At this point I want to get the home in a condition where I can put it back in the market and put this terrible experience behind me. I have had hvac issues, structural issues, grading issues causing the front lawn to be swampy, missing screens, bowed flooring, warped decking, exposed drywall seams, to name a few. Do yourself a favor and throughly inspect any new home numerous times before deciding to follow through and don't except that the issues are related to post pandemic workforce and material availability, because that is the builders problem and not yours. ... Worst experience ever. the sales rep was the worse along with the CM. no communication. Absolute nightmare! I had to reach out to the area sales manager so she could help expedite the construction process.

I had a very very unhappy home buying experience with Lennar. Starting from the sales to finance to home construction, ar every step, the whole experience was very unpleasant and compromising. The quality of the construction was suboptimal and there are multiple visible flaws that were not corrected even after they were reported in the inspections. The new home walkthru and final inspection process was so painful with so many open issues and construction manager was not ready to fix. To make the matters worse, I was promised some fixes which I had to follow-up multiple times. The way my home was handed over was even without cleaning. All the Lennar associates that I had to interface were not responsive and not customer friendly. They feel they are doing me a service and am very disappointed with the whole experience ... More

The window of the home was given broken and 2 months after closing many issues are not resolved yet. The people just focus on closing tickets without resolution.

Overall, a great home for us, but kitchen cabinets are an inch less in depth as typical (11 inches instead of 12), and corner cabinets are inaccessable. Also internet company Lennar contracted with never came through. Will probably be at least six more months before they do. This is not Lennars fault, but they knew in advance that internet was going to be delayed and never told us.
