Great start, ROUGH finish

Our sales person Jordan was great at getting us to contract and rude, pushy, and disrespectful as we got closer to closing. Our construction manager was friendly and responsive before closing and then dismissive and ignored us even in person after closing. Promises were made all around that have yet to be fulfilled. Very disappointing. After talking with neighbors, it is apparent the company's goal is to close on incomplete homes and move on to sell more rather than selling complete product. Customer service and client satisfaction are evidently not priorities.

Overall home was completed in time and love it for the most part. Some materials used were very cheap and quality not great . Doors to my office don’t close properly , will end up replacing with nicer ones . Locks to from door didn’t work , nails left in roof , all windowed left unlocked , garage not painted inside fir a house over $630k my inside of garage looks like a toddler built it . Not painted , steps have nails showing , I will need to hire someone to finish . Landscaping not great will hire someone to improve and fix . Paint on inside very cheap .

The homes themselves are nice. Overall, the build seems sturdy. There are minor issues with quality and craftsmanship of the individual trades. ie. Paint is not top-shelf. Tile installation was "hollow" in parts and broken. We fixed at our expense despite warranty due to lack of builder response. (More to follow on that). Garage door was slightly misaligned. There were issues that were sub-par on Lennar. Firstly, Communication was horrible. In fact, my closing day was only found out when I asked late afternoon one day. I wish I could say I am pleasantly surprised but this experience has not been pleasant. Quality of workmanship and products in home are poor. Everyday it is a new issue! There were 16 closings in my neighborhood in November as it was the end of the fiscal year so our 30 day issues were put on hold. I feel sorry for our construction supervisor and our Lennar customer representative, they are both responsive but completely overwhelmed.

Quality and workmanship are lacking. For the price I paid, I shouldn’t have windows that you can feel a breeze coming in, the woodwork was hardly attached, stonework was messy, siding had clear gaps and just over all not super happy with the home. I want a well built home for this price. Speed doesn’t impress me.

Have closed escrow 2 months ago but until now Ge dishwasher hasnt worked. Garage doors are 2 different appearance , “temporary garage doors” according to them but theyndont know when new garage doors will come. Too loud noise from hallway bathrooms , told my kids not to shower after 9 as it is like in wall the water sound. I think needs more insulation. For the price of the home I would have expected better quality materials. The amount of construction issues that we've faced as well as damaged, unfixable items like a completely scratched bathtub is unacceptable. Likely my last time going with a large homebuilder as homes are just churned out as quickly as possible.

My home buying process was a complete nightmare. Initially the process was quite easy, but as we were getting closer to close escrow, there were a LOT of mistakes made on Lennar's end, lack of communication, and extremely inefficient. The quality of materials used was not the best, and the workmanship was poor. Even when I caught issues that needed to be fixed during the walkthrough, there were several items that were never fixed and I either had to fix them myself or go through the complaint process which prolonged even more. I would not recommend Lennar to purchase a home.

The home buying experience with Lennar was not great. We were left to ourselves for pretty much the entire process. On our orientation our Lennar Representative was kind and provided a lot of information but we were never welcomed on site to receive our keys. We were told to just pick up the keys in the lockbox outside our house. It was very impersonal. We did not feel cared or valued. To make matters worse, we have struggled with appliances, paint, carpet issues, and dry wall. House toom way longer than we were told it would and even still was convinced to close before the home was ready. And no notice was given when it came to telling us the house still isn't ready. Tile floors seem like the aren't sealed and have spots all over that one clean off, face plates are crooked. Everything just seems rushed and not done well.

I would say we didnt have the best experience. The day of closing not everything was completed. Keith our builder told us to contact him if we have any issues instead of going through Lennar costumer service. We would reach out to him and get no response. I have also heard he has been let go of the company. We are still dealing with issues on our home that have not been resolved.

I had one roof leak and one air conditioner drain leak in my loft area. The leaks have been fixed however I’m still waiting for the drywall and an upholstered chair that was stained to be fixed. It’s been 3 weeks. Also the garbage dumpster is not emptied on a regular basis. The management company states trucks are in the neighborhood blocking the dumpsters. I found the Lennar experience very frustrating, and would not be repeat buyer. For the price paid, I am disappointed in the development, the finished home, the Lennar processes, and absolutely beside myself that Lennar will not allow, tolerate, or discuss simple, inexpensive changes to make the finished home more “functional “. This is my second Lennar home and this experience is nothing like my first experience. There was and has been poor communication between us and Lennar for the entire process. The sales agent, the young one was rude and didn’t care at all to explain or show the homes since “the homes are selling themselves “.
